March Cosmic Calendar

March 2nd: Mars enters Pisces ~ 9:15am
On Monday, March 2nd, Mars enters Pisces at 9:15am EST, where it will remain until April 9th. Here, the intuitive sensitivity of Pisces blends with the motivation and drive of Mars. There is a desire to act from feeling and instinct, and to move with the natural flow of events rather than pushing against the current. Direct confrontation can feel more difficult now, and anger may come through more softly or indirectly during this time.

Strong gut feelings may arise, and this transit can be especially supportive for artistic inspiration and creative work. Be mindful not to overextend yourself for others, as it may be harder to put your foot down and assert boundaries while Mars moves through Pisces.

Those with natal Mars in Taurus, Cancer, Scorpio, Capricorn, or Pisces may feel most supported by this energy and experience a boost in stamina and focus. If your natal Mars is in Aries, Leo, Libra, or Aquarius, this period may feel more neutral, neither increasing nor draining your energy. Those with natal Mars in Gemini, Virgo, or Sagittarius may feel somewhat depleted during this time and may benefit from intentionally slowing down, resting, and embracing a more go-with-the-flow approach.

March 3rd: Full Moon in Virgo ~ 6:37am // Lunar Eclipse
On Tuesday, March 3rd, we have a Full Moon in Virgo at 6:37am EST, which is also a total Lunar Eclipse that marks the close of the potent eclipse portal we’ve been moving through for the past two weeks. This Full Moon supports refinement, clarity, and clearing away chaos or excess confusion in your environment. This is an ideal time to simplify and increase your focus.

Cleaning and organizing are tangible ways to work with this energy, but you might also streamline your routines, remove unnecessary steps from your day, or intentionally create more space for peace and ease. Virgo Full Moons are especially supportive for reconnecting with nature through tending to plants, spending time with animals, or walking somewhere beautiful. If you can’t get outside, repot a houseplant or carve out intentional time with an animal companion.

This Lunar Eclipse is a “blood moon,” appearing crimson as Earth’s atmosphere filters and refracts red light onto the Moon during totality. It will be visible in the western United States, Australia, New Zealand, and East Asia.

Eclipse seasons can be highly charged and intense. Many people experienced illness (myself included!) or significant life changes over the past couple of weeks. As we emerge from this eclipse portal, you may find yourself gradually rebuilding your energy or feeling slightly ungrounded. Move slowly, be patient and gentle with yourself, and resist the urge to take on too much too quickly.

March 4th: Venus sextile Uranus ~ 11:40am
On Wednesday, March 4th, Venus sextiles Uranus at 11:40am EST, bringing opportunities for gentle, easy shifts. This is a supportive day for trying something new with your appearance, as Venus rules beauty and personal style. A haircut, a new outfit, or a different scent could feel refreshing, or you might feel inspired to reorganize your space or move things around at home.

Creative ideas may arrive that feel like a natural evolution of where you are right now. Subtle changes could also emerge within friendships or relationships. Because the sextile is one of the softest astrological aspects, any shifts are likely to feel organic and manageable, and more like a gradual unfolding than a sudden disruption.

March 5th: Sun trine Jupiter ~ 12:13pm
On Thursday, March 5th, the Sun trines Jupiter at 12:13pm EST, a pleasant transit that we feel throughout the day. This is an optimistic and expansive influence that helps us see things in a more hopeful light, or at least sense that we’re moving in a brighter direction.

If you’re still having a difficult day, that’s okay! This transit can offer perspective, reminding you that tough moods and challenging situations are temporary. It’s especially supportive of generosity and goodwill, so if your spirits are low, consider volunteering, offering support, or simply sharing a kind word with someone.

Confidence may come more easily now, but if it doesn’t, you can still work with this energy by leaning into a “fake it till you make it” approach and allowing small acts of optimism to build momentum.

March 6th: Venus enters Aries ~ 5:45am
On Friday, March 6th, Venus enters Aries at 5:45am EST, where it will remain until March 30th. Venus is considered to be in detriment in Aries, as this sign sits opposite Libra, one of the signs Venus rules.

Venus in Aries brings a bold, direct, and impulsive approach to love, creativity, and connection. This energy supports going after what you want and leading with passion rather than waiting to be noticed. While this can show up in romantic matters, it also applies to creative projects, personal desires, and any area of life where you’re ready to take initiative. Independence is emphasized, encouraging you to carve your own path rather than relying on others to set the pace. Fighting for love or for what you truly care about may be a theme over the coming weeks. You may also find that your creative energy needs novelty and excitement, as boredom can set in quickly if things feel stagnant or repetitive.

Those with natal Venus in Aries, Gemini, Leo, Sagittarius, or Aquarius may feel especially energized during this transit, experiencing a boost in relationships and creative expression. Those with natal Venus in Taurus, Virgo, Scorpio, or Pisces may notice this energy less strongly. If your natal Venus is in Cancer, Libra, or Capricorn, this period may ask you to be more assertive than feels natural, and to rely on your own initiative more than you might prefer. Trust your strength and know that you’re capable of doing what needs to be done.

March 7th: Sun conjunct Mercury ~ 6:01am // Venus conjunct Neptune ~ 6:27am
On Saturday, March 7th, we have two major transits unfolding early in the morning. At 6:01am EST, the Sun conjuncts Mercury in Pisces, also known as Mercury Cazimi, while Mercury is retrograde. This alignment can sharpen the mind and bring sudden flashes of insight or clarity. Because Mercury is retrograde, ideas from the past may resurface, or you may reconnect with concepts you once felt excited about. It’s a supportive day for revisiting old projects, drafts, or conversations that still hold meaning for you.

Then, at 6:27am EST, Venus conjuncts Neptune in Aries. This transit is imaginative, passionate, and infused with longing. It encourages you to dream boldly and feel inspired to bring those dreams into form. Interactions with others may feel heightened or almost fated, with moments of deep connection where boundaries soften and understanding feels intuitive or even telepathic.

March 8th: Venus conjunct Saturn ~ 9:39am
On Sunday, March 8th, Venus conjuncts Saturn in Aries at 9:39am EST. After the dreamy and inspired energy of the past couple of days, this transit may bring a return to reality. Relationships could feel more serious, strained, or tested, and practical concerns like finances, time constraints, or outside pressures may need your attention.

This energy responds best to discipline, focus, and a realistic, grounded approach. Leaning into responsibility and acceptance can help strengthen your resolve. You may find commitments deepening, whether within a relationship or in your personal dedication to a project, goal, or path.

If certain connections or situations lack a solid foundation, they may begin to fall away now, or enter a process of restructuring or release. Saturn’s influence isn’t about loss for its own sake, but is instead about strengthening what’s built to last and clearing space for what isn’t.

March 9th: Mercury trine Jupiter ~ 1:23am
On Monday, March 9th, Mercury trines Jupiter at 1:23am EST, a transit we’ll feel throughout the day. This is a hopeful, expansive influence that supports brainstorming, idea sharing, and big-picture thinking. It’s especially helpful for writers, teachers, and other creatives who work with words or storytelling.

With Mercury currently retrograde, your attention may turn back to past ideas, unfinished concepts, or old storylines ready for a second life. This is a supportive time to revisit a writing project, refine something you’ve already started, or reconnect with someone from your past for a meaningful conversation, philosophical exchange, or friendly debate. Thoughts tend to flow more easily under this energy, and you may find it easier to express yourself with clarity, confidence, and a stronger sense of your voice.

March 10th: Venus sextile Pluto ~ 2:52am // Jupiter retrograde ends ~ 11:29pm
On Tuesday, March 10th, we experience two major transits. At 2:52am EST, Venus sextiles Pluto, an influence we’ll feel throughout the day. This aspect supports deep emotional shifts and increased magnetism within relationships. You may feel strongly drawn to someone, or sense that you’re moving through something meaningful and transformative with another person. Because this is a sextile, the intensity is present but manageable and is more inviting than overwhelming. Deeper, more authentic connections are emphasized now, while surface-level interactions may feel less satisfying.

Later, at 11:29pm EST, Jupiter stations direct, ending its retrograde period that began on November 11th. After months of internal reflection, reassessment, and working through personal or philosophical blocks, the focus begins to shift outward again. This change can restore a sense of forward momentum, helping you feel more confident, optimistic, and willing to take bold steps in the months ahead.

March 13th: Mars conjunct North Node ~ 5:58pm
On Friday, March 13th, Mars conjuncts the North Node of the Moon at 5:58pm EST. This is a highly karmic transit that can accelerate growth, sometimes through sudden or unexpected change. You may feel propelled forward quickly, or experience a strong inner pull to shift direction without fully understanding why. This is pioneering energy that encourages you to step into unfamiliar territory. Moving beyond ego-driven reactions and aligning with your deeper instincts will help you work with this transit in a grounded way. The more you trust your authentic impulses, the more you align with this meaningful and powerful energy.

March 15th: Mercury conjunct Mars ~ 4:07am
On Sunday, March 15th, Mercury and Mars meet in a conjunction in Pisces at 4:07am EST. This transit brings alignment between the mind (Mercury) and body (Mars), supporting clearer decision-making and the motivation to follow through. With Mercury still retrograde, this is an especially helpful time to tackle tasks or projects that have been lingering unfinished. The energy favors planning, brainstorming, organizing your next steps, and building confidence in your direction. Communication may feel more direct or sharp. This is helpful when you need to speak honestly, but it could also come across as overly blunt. Take a moment to slow down and think before speaking to avoid unnecessary friction.

*

March 17th: Mercury conjunct North Node ~ 1:08pm
On Tuesday, March 17th, Mercury forms a conjunction with the North Node of the Moon at 1:08pm EST, though this is a transit we’re likely to feel throughout the entire day. Mercury is currently retrograde, so we last experienced this alignment on February 12th. Today carries a similar energetic tone, offering an opportunity to revisit themes or conversations that surfaced around that time.

This transit can deliver ideas or realizations that feel sudden yet hopeful, inviting us to take action. We may find ourselves presented with another chance in a particular area of life, and the question becomes whether we’re willing to move forward this time around. While the circumstances may not be identical, the underlying energy may feel strikingly familiar.

With a New Moon arriving tomorrow, we are also in the dark moon phase, which can heighten our need for rest and reflection. You may feel more introspective than usual, or find that you need extra time to recharge after socializing.

March 18th: Venus square Jupiter ~ 12:08pm // Sun sextile Uranus ~ 4:20pm // New Moon in Pisces ~ 9:23pm
On Wednesday, March 18th, we have a busy day in the skies. We begin with Venus squaring Jupiter at 12:08pm EST. This transit can lean toward overindulgence, so be mindful of spending too much money or spreading yourself too thin with social plans and activities. Our feelings may be big and all-consuming, but leaning into the passion of the day can also spark creative and artistic inspiration.

Later, the Sun sextiles Uranus at 4:20pm, helping us shake out of a rut and inviting in some fun and excitement. Sticking to too rigid a schedule today may feel limiting or uncomfortable. This transit favors trying new things and letting your mood guide the flow of the day rather than adhering strictly to a calendar.

The New Moon in Pisces perfects at 9:23pm, bringing a deeply internal and spiritual lunation. This energy can heighten our emotional awareness, and feelings may feel especially powerful today. It may also be easier to access creativity and ideas that feel spiritually inspired or arrive in a stream-of-consciousness way. This New Moon is well suited for connecting with your intuition, spiritual practices, and deeper emotional currents to gain clarity about what you want and what may come next.

While the day carries a fun and exciting tone, it could also feel like a LOT at times, and emotions ebb and flow. Tomorrow is the final day of Pisces season, so savor this last wave of oceanic Piscean energy.

March 20th: Sun enters Aries ~ 10:45am // Mercury retrograde ends ~ 3:32pm
Happy Aries Season and astrological New Year! The Sun enters Aries today, Friday, March 20th, at 10:45am EST, marking the beginning of a new year on the zodiacal calendar.

Aries Season favors new beginnings, fresh starts, and trying new things. We may feel more inclined to lean into our impulsive side, embrace greater confidence and directness, and worry less about fitting in with the group. It’s okay to be independent and do the things you want to do. Go see that movie your friends aren’t interested in by yourself, or take a little day trip to a museum even if no one can join you. Of course, this is always okay, but during Aries Season we may find it easier to tap into our boldness and do things that feel a little scary or intimidating.

Aries, Gemini, Leo, Sagittarius, and Aquarius placements often love Aries Season the most and may feel especially uplifted during this time.

Today also ushers in a new season, as we experience the Vernal Equinox in the Northern Hemisphere and the Autumnal Equinox in the Southern Hemisphere. The equinox is a time of balance, when day and night are in equilibrium, which can help us feel more grounded and centered. In the North, it marks a time of fresh starts and rebirth, while in the South it invites a turning inward and contemplation of change.

Later in the day, Mercury retrograde ends at 3:32pm EST as Mercury stations direct at 8 degrees Pisces. Mercury has been retrograde since February 26th and spent this entire period in the sign of Pisces. As we emerge from the retrograde, we may begin to experience greater clarity and notice fewer mishaps, delays, and miscommunications. Personally, this retrograde seemed to carry a lot of waiting for me. Things that felt like they should have resolved quickly often took days or even weeks to complete. Leaning into patience has been helpful.

Mercury will continue moving through its retrograde “shadow” until April 9th. This means it will take until that date for Mercury to return to the exact degree it was at when the retrograde began in February. Because of this, we may still notice a few lingering themes from the past resurfacing, along with some final tests or lessons emerging over the next couple of weeks.

March 21st: Mars trine Jupiter ~ 8:01pm
On Saturday, March 21st, Mars trines Jupiter at 8:01pm EST, a transit we’ve likely felt building over the past few days and one that will continue to influence us through the weekend and into early next week. This is a positive, energizing alignment that can increase our physical energy and excitement levels.

Mars trine Jupiter can boost courage, motivation, and confidence, helping us tap into bursts of focus and direction that make it easier to accomplish tasks or move through a project more quickly than usual. It’s a great time for an adventure, getting some physical exercise, or finally tackling something you’ve been meaning to get to. This transit is also especially supportive for athletes or anyone engaging in healthy competition, as it encourages enthusiasm, stamina, and a spirited drive to succeed.

March 22nd: Sun conjunct Neptune ~ 7:18am
On Sunday, March 22nd, the Sun forms a conjunction with Neptune in Aries at 7:18am EST. This is a sensitive and compassionate transit that can make it easier to tune into the energy and emotions of others. We may feel especially inspired by what we encounter in the world and notice beauty more readily. Imagination is heightened under this influence, which can be helpful for creative projects or for seeing life through a more imaginative lens than usual. This transit can also make it easier to access spiritual or intuitive realms.

Sun/Neptune alignments are among the more intuitive transits, making this a lovely time for meditation, reflection, or giving yourself the space to connect with your inner world and the subtle energies around you.

March 23rd: Mercury conjunct North Node ~ 2:01am
On Monday, March 23rd, Mercury enters a conjunction with the North Node of the Moon at 2:01am EST, a transit we’ll feel throughout the day. This is the third time we’ve experienced this alignment in just over a month due to Mercury’s retrograde. Because of this, you may notice a connection between the dates February 12th, March 17th, and today, with similar themes arising across these periods.

Today’s transit offers an opportunity to approach these repeating themes with greater clarity and hindsight. New ideas may emerge, or conversations could open doors and allow for meaningful change. There may also be karmic pushes encouraging you to speak up, initiate communication, or take a risk in expressing something that’s been on your mind.

March 25th: Sun conjunct Saturn ~ 4:55am // Sun sextile Pluto ~ 2:16pm
On Wednesday, March 25th, we experience two major transits involving the Sun. First, the Sun forms a conjunction with Saturn in Aries at 4:55am EST. This is a potent transit for taking responsibility and stepping up to get things done. It can feel a bit heavier, as it heightens cautiousness and maturity and isn’t especially lighthearted in nature. However, it’s excellent for tackling work and tasks that have been piling up, supporting productivity and focus. Please be mindful to not to be too hard on yourself or others today.

Later, the Sun forms a sextile with Pluto at 2:16pm EST. This constructive transit supports personal transformation and self-improvement. It can also enhance magnetism and the ability to command attention in group or intimate settings. As the gentlest expression of a Sun/Pluto connection, it encourages growth and change without the intensity or discomfort that can sometimes accompany this pairing.

March 26th: Venus conjunct Chiron ~ 6:44pm
On Thursday, March 26th, Venus forms a conjunction with Chiron at 6:44pm EST. This influence can be felt throughout the day and into the early hours of Friday. This transit tends to highlight wounds related to relationships, self-confidence, and past heartbreak. It can amplify insecurities in these areas, leaving emotions feeling tender and close to the surface.

At the same time, this alignment can open a powerful doorway for healing. We may realize that many of the feelings surfacing now are rooted in the past rather than the present moment. This awareness can help us recognize recurring patterns and begin the process of working through them, offering an opportunity to move toward deeper emotional healing.

March 28th: Saturn sextile Pluto ~ 6:12pm
On Saturday, March 28th, Saturn forms a sextile with Pluto at 6:12pm EST. Saturn is currently at 5 degrees Aries while Pluto sits at 5 degrees Aquarius. This aspect will remain active for the next two months, making it a significant transit of 2026.

The last time these two planets interacted closely was in 2020, when they met in conjunction. A sextile is a much gentler and more cooperative aspect, but with Saturn and Pluto involved it can still signal profound and lasting change. Here we see the potential for practical, real-world transformation to emerge through innovation, fresh insight, and deliberate restructuring. This transit often appears when unstable or outdated systems begin to break down so that stronger, more sustainable structures can take their place.

Looking back to 2020, we can see how dramatically the world shifted during that Saturn/Pluto conjunction. Conjunctions between these planets often coincide with explosive events that shake the foundations of society, such as wars, economic shifts, and pandemics. In the years that follow, supportive aspects like the sextile tend to help us rebuild, as Saturn works to create structure with the help of Pluto’s deep transformative force.

We can also consider whether a sextile is "waxing" or "waning". This one is a waning sextile, meaning we are moving away from the 2020 conjunction rather than approaching a new conjunction. The energy is gradually dispersing and shifting toward consolidation and rebuilding. Compare this to the Saturn/Pluto sextile of 2012–2013, which was a waxing sextile. This was an aspect that carried mounting energy and planted the seeds for the eventual 2020 conjunction.

Over the next year, we may see new systems, policies, or frameworks emerge that attempt to address the instability and uncertainty that began in 2020. In many ways, we are living through an exceptionally charged astrological era, one not seen with this level of intensity since the late 1960s. This heightened period may last until around 2032, when the collective atmosphere could begin to settle.

The next five to six years will likely be especially pivotal. This is a reminder that where we choose to place our energy, time, and resources truly matters. Even small contributions ripple outward, shaping the larger world around us. With Saturn now in Aries, there is a strong message that it’s never too late to begin. Bold action, initiative, and courage all help build the future you want to see.

*

March 30th: Venus enters Taurus ~ 12:00pm
On Monday, March 30th, Venus enters Taurus at 12:00pm EST, where it will remain until April 24th. Venus is at home in this sign it rules over, able to operate at its fullest expression. During this time, we may feel a boost in creativity and a heightened ability to notice and appreciate beauty.

Venus in Taurus is slow, sensual, and indulgent, inviting us to savor the present moment through all five senses. Take your time to enjoy the scenery on your commute, notice the smell of the breeze, the patterns in the clouds, the sound of birds. Take in the magic in every small detail.

This is a beautiful time for connecting with nature, building stability in relationships, saving money, and leaning into comfort (an excellent time to take naps!). Be mindful of overindulgence through overspending and impulsive purchases. Risky choices in love, friendship, or business may not play out well under this influence.

February Cosmic Calendar

February 1st: Full Moon in Leo ~ 5:09pm
On Sunday, February 1st, we have a Full Moon in Leo perfecting at 5:09pm EST, with the Sun at 13 degrees Aquarius and the Moon opposite at 13 degrees Leo. This lunation makes no major aspects to other planets, a shift from the recent Full Moons that have been especially cosmically active. Because of this, the energy feels clearer and more focused.

This Full Moon is powerful for creativity and self-expression, highlighting ways to put the self first without tipping into selfishness. We may feel called to listen more closely to our hearts, spread generosity and warmth, and uplift others without draining our own energy in the process. We can use this time for manifesting greater positivity, confidence, and self-esteem.

It's also be a perfect day to wear an outfit that feels aligned with your higher self. Leo delights in adornment, play, and expressing the self through physical appearance just as much as through any creative medium.

Those born between February 3rd–7th, May 3rd–7th, August 3rd–7th, and November 3rd–7th are likely to feel this Full Moon most strongly.

*

February 2nd: Mercury sextile Chiron ~ 7:32pm
On Monday, February 2nd, Mercury forms a sextile to Chiron at 7:32pm EST. This transit supports building self-confidence and easing concerns about how others perceive us. It encourages vulnerability in our speech, making it easier to open up and communicate on a deeper, more meaningful level.

You may find yourself connecting with someone in a way that truly makes a difference for them, for you, or for both. This aspect can be quietly powerful and deeply healing. It’s also an excellent day for solo self-expression through writing, journaling, or other creative outlets.

February 3rd: Uranus retrograde ends ~ 9:33pm
On Tuesday, February 3rd, Uranus stations direct at 9:33pm EST, ending its retrograde. This retrograde began back in September and briefly carried Uranus from Gemini back into Taurus. During Uranus retrograde, major changes tend to occur within our internal landscape. We become more prone to sudden realizations and may discover that inner shifts are required before external change can take place. It can feel as though much is happening beneath the surface, unseen by others.

Now that Uranus is moving direct, the energy turns outward. There is a stronger electric current in the external world, allowing us to translate our insights and epiphanies into tangible changes in our environment. This is a supportive time for taking action after a long period of reflection, inner upheaval, and rebirth.

February 4th: Venus sextile Chiron ~ 5:23pm
On Wednesday, February 4th, Venus sextiles Chiron at 5:23pm EST. This is a gentle, pleasant transit that supports healing through friendships and social connections. We may feel more open to collaboration or find it easier to recognize the beauty and strengths in those we encounter.

Because this aspect works subtly, its effects may be quiet rather than dramatic, yet it can be powerful for easing social anxiety and softening insecurities within relationships, both romantic and platonic.

February 5th: Mercury square Uranus ~ 7:13am
On Thursday, February 5th, Mercury squares Uranus at 7:13am EST. This transit can amplify mental activity and bring sudden shifts in thinking. We may feel more rebellious, with an urge to shock others or shake up the energy around us. This is not a particularly emotional or soft influence; it carries a cooler, more cerebral quality.

Thoughts may race and demand an outlet, making it difficult to quiet the mind. Some people may feel compelled to make surprising or provocative announcements, sometimes simply to stir chaos. The energy can lean toward nervousness, so it’s best not to feed into it. Give your mind something constructive to focus on, whether it's puzzles, games, or low-stakes problem-solving that can help channel this restless energy.

February 6th: Mercury enters Pisces ~ 5:48pm
On Friday, February 6th, Mercury enters Pisces at 5:48pm EST, where it will remain until April 14th. This is an unusually long stay for Mercury, as it will station retrograde in Pisces later this month, a transit we’ll explore in more depth soon.

Mercury in Pisces is dreamy, imaginative, and tinged with fantasy. It supports abstract thinking and invites us to view life through a more emotional and compassionate lens. While this doesn’t mean everyone suddenly becomes softer, we may feel increased friction when relying too heavily on logic while overlooking emotional nuance.

From now until February 26th, Mercury moves direct through Pisces, carrying a noticeably different tone than the upcoming retrograde. These next three weeks are especially supportive for those with natal Mercury in Taurus, Cancer, Scorpio, Capricorn, and Pisces, offering a mental boost and smoother communication.

Those with natal Mercury in Aries, Leo, Libra, and Aquarius may experience this as a more neutral period and are likely to feel less impacted by the retrograde later on. Meanwhile, individuals with natal Mercury in Gemini, Virgo, and Sagittarius may benefit from consciously softening their communication style and could find the retrograde phase more intense overall.

February 8th: Venus square Uranus ~ 4:48am
On Sunday, February 8th, Venus squares Uranus at 4:48am EST, an influence we feel throughout the day. This transit can bring sudden shifts in relationships, making them feel more unpredictable or surprising in some way. Some may feel a strong pull toward independence, while others may cling to maintaining the status quo.

Allowing relationships more flexibility through seeking adventure together or embracing a slightly unconventional approach can yield better results. It’s also wise to be mindful of risky financial ventures or impulsive opportunities today. Creatively, sudden sparks of inspiration may arise seemingly out of nowhere, and following these threads can lead to exciting and unexpected artistic outcomes.

*

February 10th: Venus enters Pisces ~ 5:18am
On Tuesday, February 10th, Venus enters Pisces at 5:18am EST, where it will remain until March 6th. Venus in Pisces is dreamy, romantic, and deeply idealistic. This fantasy-leaning placement tends to put loved ones on a pedestal, highlighting their most beautiful qualities while making it easier to overlook what we’d rather not see. It’s almost as if we superimpose our own enchanted version of reality onto a situation, without fully noticing what lies beneath the surface.

This can make life feel especially magical and meaningful, though it may also be harder to stay grounded or fully present. Those with natal Venus in Taurus, Cancer, Scorpio, Capricorn, and Pisces tend to enjoy this transit the most, often experiencing a noticeable boost in relationships as the energy blends smoothly with their own.

For those with natal Venus in Aries, Taurus, Leo, and Libra, this transit is more neutral, and you may not feel a strong impact. Meanwhile, natal Venus in Gemini, Virgo, and Sagittarius may find their usual approach to relationships somewhat at odds with the prevailing energy this month. Leaning into the soft, intuitive, and dreamy qualities of Venus in Pisces, rather than trying to make everything perfectly logical, can be especially helpful.

February 11th: Sun sextile Chiron ~ 8:46pm
On Wednesday, February 11th, the Sun sextiles Chiron at 8:46pm EST. This transit supports confidence-building and encourages us to put ourselves out there a bit more. The gentle nature of a sextile means that while we may feel some nerves about stepping into the spotlight, the potential rewards far outweigh the risk.

Don’t be afraid to speak up, use your voice, and take up space. Doing so can help release lingering insecurities and fears around not being good enough. Celebrate what makes you unique today. Aquarius Season is the perfect time to do just that.

February 12th: Mercury conjunct North Node ~ 2:01am
On Thursday, February 12th, Mercury conjoins the North Node of the Moon at 2:01am EST, though its influence is felt throughout the day. Conversations may feel fated, as if we are being pulled toward them, or as though they reveal something essential we’re meant to hear.

You may notice an increase in synchronicities, perhaps through a chance comment, a line in a TV show, or a message that mirrors something unfolding in your own life. This is an excellent time to write down your thoughts and feelings and to explore any sudden insights, dreams, or meditative visions that arise.

February 13th: Saturn enters Aries ~ 7:11pm
On Friday, February 13th, Saturn enters Aries at 7:11pm EST, where it will remain until April 2028. Saturn briefly visited Aries last year before retrograding back into Pisces for several months, but now it settles firmly in Aries for the next two years.

Saturn in Aries combines action with discipline, encouraging us to find structured ways to rebel and create meaningful change. This transit is powerful for encouraging independence, deepening mastery of skills, and breaking free from reliance on authority.

At times, this energy can feel conflicting. Saturn is slow and deliberate, while Aries is quick and impulsive. We may discover that rushing in without a plan won’t serve us well; instead, tempering Aries’ fiery drive with Saturn’s patience and structure leads to the best results. Think of a master martial artist who blends discipline and patience with strength and power. That’s the essence of Saturn in Aries.

The positive news is that real progress happens when Saturn is here. While Saturn in Pisces encouraged escapism, hoping, and wishing, often leading to spiritual growth but a sense of collective spinning wheels, Saturn in Aries channels righteous anger into powerful, tangible change. It may not happen overnight, but this transit supports steady, foundational shifts that are ultimately the most lasting and transformational.

February 16th: Sun square Uranus ~ 12:01am // Mercury trine Jupiter ~ 4:31pm
We have two major transits occurring on Monday, February 16th. The first comes shortly after midnight EST, with the Sun squaring Uranus at 12:01am. This transit brings some unexpected energy to the day. There could be surprises, and a strong urge to go against the grain. You might encounter chaotic situations or people stirring the pot just to keep things interesting (or maybe you’re the one doing that!). It may feel frustrating to stay in one place today, and you might find yourself craving a shake-up to your routine that offers a bit more freedom.

Later on, Mercury trines Jupiter at 4:31pm EST, a pleasant and expansive transit that helps lift the mood. This aspect emphasizes curiosity and a desire to learn, and can help conversations flow more easily. This is a supportive energy for studying, reading, and sharing ideas. Communication may feel more exciting and energized today.

With eclipse season beginning tomorrow, this is a good time to ground and center yourself through meditation, quiet reflection, or time spent in nature, if possible.

February 17th: New Moon in Aquarius ~ 7:01am (eclipse) // Venus conjunct North Node ~ 8:44am
On Tuesday, February 17th, we have the New Moon in Aquarius perfecting at 7:01am EST. This is also an annular Solar Eclipse, marking the beginning of the first eclipse season of 2026, which lasts until March 3rd. During eclipse season, energy can feel more amplified and electric. It can accelerate the pace at which things change or come into form, and both anticipation and excitement begin to build. It’s a bit like the feeling before a storm rolls in, with the sky darkening, the wind picking up, and your body sensing the shift before it arrives.

This particular eclipse is primarily visible in Antarctica, with a partial view from the southern regions of Africa and South America. Because of this, its energy may feel more noticeable for those in the Southern Hemisphere.

This is a potent time for breaking away from expectations and honoring your own uniqueness. You may find it easier to step back, see things from a more objective perspective, and express yourself more authentically. We can now reflect on the changes we'd like to see in the world around us, and to consider the small (or large!) ways we can contribute.

We also have Venus conjunct the North Node of the Moon at 8:44am EST, a transit that can bring fated-feeling connections and encounters with people who feel strangely familiar. Unexpected meetings or chance run-ins may carry a sense of significance.

February 18th: Sun enters Pisces ~ 10:51am
Happy Pisces Season! On Wednesday, February 18th, the Sun enters the final sign of the zodiac at 10:51am EST, officially beginning the mutable water season. Pisces is a sign that honors dissolution, imagination, compassion, and artistry. It is a season to lean into your intuition, loosen your grip on the rules when it comes to creativity, and give yourself permission to daydream. Try releasing the pressure to constantly go, go, go or measure your worth through tangible productivity. Pisces reminds us that there is power in the undercurrent.

You may notice yourself feeling more sensitive to the energy of others during this time. It can be helpful to carry a protective or grounding crystal, or to take a moment before leaving the house to meditate and imagine yourself surrounded by a bubble of golden light, especially if you’ll be around people whose energy doesn’t quite match your own.

This season tends to feel especially supportive for Taurus, Cancer, Scorpio, Capricorn, and Pisces, and is often considered a fortunate time of year for these signs. Those with their Sun in Aries, Leo, Libra, and Aquarius can still enjoy the season, but may not feel quite as energized by it. For Gemini, Virgo, and Sagittarius, this is a time to release rigid expectations and lean more into intuition than pure logic.

February 20th: Saturn conjunct Neptune ~ 11:52am
On Friday, February 20th, Saturn and Neptune meet in conjunction at 11:52am EST at 0 degrees Aries. These two planets come together roughly every 30–40 years, but they haven’t aligned at this exact point in the sky for over 9,000 years. This rare alignment carries powerful energy, blending Saturn’s discipline, structure, and focus with Neptune’s dissolving, imaginative, and intangible nature.

We’ve been feeling this transit build over the past month, and its influence will continue through mid-March. It supports the process of taking something magical, abstract, or dreamlike and bringing it into tangible form. This is an energy that helps ground our visions and clarify the path forward so that our dreams can become reality.

The fact that this conjunction occurs at the very first degree of the zodiac makes it especially significant. There is a sense of stepping into an entirely new energetic chapter, one that holds the potential for profound beginnings and meaningful change. When planets meet in conjunction, they operate like a single unit, blending their energies together. I like to picture it like a train with two cars hooked together, going down the track together for a time. Saturn is steady and solid, while Neptune can be foggy or illusory, so there may be some confusion or uncertainty at first. Over time, however, clarity begins to emerge, revealing the road ahead.

That said, Neptune’s influence can sometimes blur the truth. Be mindful of those in positions of power who may attempt to sway others through illusion, misinformation, or emotional manipulation. This is where the spirit of Aries becomes important. Think for yourself, trust your instincts, cultivate independence, and move forward as a pioneer for the kind of change you want to see.

February 22nd: Mars sextile Chiron ~ 11:13am // Venus trine Jupiter ~ 3:01pm
On Sunday, February 22nd, we have two major transits. At 11:13am EST, Mars sextiles Chiron, offering supportive energy for physical healing and the softening of anger. Anger isn’t inherently negative, but when it isn’t expressed or directed in a healthy way, it can become stored in the body and create tension. This transit encourages a gentle release of frustration and helps guide the body toward mindful movement that feels freeing rather than forceful. It’s a good day for stretching, walking, light exercise, or any movement that helps you reconnect with yourself. Focus on the experience rather than the outcome. Lean into the process, not the results.

Later, Venus trines Jupiter at 3:01pm EST, bringing warm, uplifting energy to relationships and a deepened connection. This can aid in meeting new people, socializing, romance, and enjoying the company of others. It can also boost confidence and spark artistic inspiration.

We then have a few quieter days before the next major transit on Thursday, so take this time to enjoy the slower pace and savor the calm before Mercury retrograde begins.

*

February 26th: Mercury retrograde begins ~ 1:48am
On Thursday, February 26th, Mercury retrograde begins at 1:48am EST, lasting until March 20th. This retrograde starts at 22 degrees Pisces and moves back to 8 degrees Pisces, pulling Mercury deeper into the dreamy, fluid waters of this sign.

This can be a confusing time, with truth feeling slippery or difficult to pin down. Information may shift, and it might not always be clear what is accurate and what isn’t. Stay curious, gather details, and try not to act on assumptions without verifying the facts. If you encounter misinformation or exaggeration, speaking up and offering clarity can help cut through the Neptunian fog.

Some people may also feel more aimless, uncertain, or indecisive during this period. That’s okay! Resist the urge to force a decision just to feel settled. It’s alright to sit with the unknown and allow things to unfold.

On the brighter side, intuition is heightened, rest and unplugging come more naturally, and moments of synchronicity or “fated” timing may feel more frequent. Those with significant placements in Pisces, Gemini, Virgo, or Sagittarius (Sun, Moon, Rising, or Mercury) are likely to feel this retrograde more strongly than others.

February 27th: Sun conjunct North Node ~ 8:52am // Mars square Uranus ~ 11:20am
Friday, February 27th, brings two major transits. The first arrives at 8:52am EST, as the Sun conjuncts the North Node of the Moon. This is supportive energy for fresh starts and new beginnings. You may feel called to take a leap or try something you’ve never done before. However, with Mercury having just stationed retrograde yesterday, it’s wise to move thoughtfully. Double-check the details, make sure everything adds up, and take time to understand what you’re stepping into before committing.

Later, Mars squares Uranus at 11:20am EST. This is a transit that has been building over the past few days and will continue to be felt through the weekend. It can amplify frustration, impatience, and reactive energy. Some people may feel like loose cannons, acting quickly or unpredictably. It’s a good time to stay grounded and give yourself extra space before responding. Caution and awareness are also important, as this influence can increase the likelihood of accidents or impulsive decisions.

February 28th: Mercury conjunct Venus ~ 12:34am
On Saturday, February 28th, Mercury conjuncts Venus at 12:34am EST, marking the final major transit of the month. Mercury is currently retrograde and meets Venus in the dreamy waters of Pisces, an energy we’ll feel throughout the day.

This is a supportive time for revisiting conversations that need another look, reconnecting with people, and circling back with those you care about. You may find yourself feeling nostalgic, enjoying memories with friends, family, or loved ones, or even reconnecting with someone from your past.

You could also be compelled to return to the comforts of familiar favorites. Consider revisiting media you loved when you were younger, like rereading a favorite book, watching a beloved movie or show, or listening to old music.

January Cosmic Calendar

January 1st: Sun sextile North Node ~ 3:00am // Mercury square Neptune ~ 8:33am // Mercury enters Capricorn ~ 4:10pm
Happy New Year! 2026 begins with an active day in the cosmos on Thursday, January 1st. The first transit arrives at 3:00am EST, as the Sun sextiles the Moon’s North Node. This is a potent and inviting influence that encourages adventure and openness to change. We may feel bolder than usual and ready to embrace something new, an ideal way to kick off the year.

Later in the morning, Mercury squares Neptune at 8:33am EST. This is a dreamy, imaginative transit that favors big ideas, art, poetry, and creative exploration more than logical or detail-oriented work. We may feel a bit spaced out or find it difficult to focus if we try to force our minds to operate in ways they aren’t quite up for in the moment.

Finally, Mercury enters Capricorn at 4:10pm EST, where it will remain until January 20th. Mercury in Capricorn supports problem-solving, a slow and steady approach, and clear, direct communication. Over the next few weeks, too much metaphor or abstract thinking could lead to confusion. This energy also lends itself well to dry humor.

Those with natal Mercury in Taurus, Virgo, Scorpio, Capricorn, and Pisces are especially supported by this transit and may experience a boost in thinking and communication. Those with natal Mercury in Gemini, Leo, Sagittarius, and Aquarius may find this energy more neutral and less impactful. For natal Mercury in Aries, Cancer, and Libra, some adjustment may be required: Aries may need to be more diplomatic and grounded, while Cancer and Libra benefit from being especially clear and honest about intentions and expectations.

January 2nd: Venus sextile North Node ~ 12:43am // Chiron retrograde ends ~ 9:37am
On Friday, January 2nd, we experience two major transits. The first occurs at 12:43am EST, as Venus sextiles the Moon’s North Node. This is a pleasant and supportive influence that can make it easier to take relationship risks, whether in romantic partnerships, friendships, or business connections. We may also feel bolder about sharing our creative ideas and putting our art out into the world. This transit can boost confidence around appearance and physical presentation as well.

Later in the morning, Chiron stations direct at 9:37am EST, ending a retrograde that began in late July. During this five-month retrograde period, we’ve been more inclined to revisit the past and engage in deep internal work focused on healing and release. With Chiron in Aries, much of this has revolved around independence, courage, and loosening the habit of people-pleasing. Now that Chiron is moving forward, we can begin applying these lessons in more tangible, real-world ways.

The Full Moon in Cancer is also building throughout the day and will perfect early tomorrow. This may give the day an emotionally charged or electric quality that can feel overwhelming at times. Don’t be surprised if you feel weepy, sensitive, or somewhat disconnected from the outside world.

January 3rd: Full Moon in Cancer ~ 5:02am
On Saturday, January 3rd, the Full Moon in Cancer perfects at 5:02am EST, with the Moon at 13 degrees Cancer directly opposing the Sun at 13 degrees Capricorn. During this lunation, the Sun is closely conjunct Venus and Mars, giving the energy a more active and charged quality.

Cancer Full Moons tend to be deeply emotional, bringing heightened sensitivity, vivid dreams, and strong intuitive pulls. With added influence from Venus and Mars, there is likely to be increased focus on relationships, group dynamics, and family matters. Feelings may arise around belonging and how we fit into the groups in our lives, whether within our family, friend circles, or workplace. Longings to be part of a particular group may surface as well.

This can be a supportive time to create a sense of emotional safety and comfort for yourself, making your home feel like a true reflection of your inner world. Cleaning, redecorating, and nesting can be especially soothing and grounding under this energy.

Those born on January 1st–4th, April 1st–4th, July 1st–4th, and October 1st–4th are likely to feel the effects of this Full Moon most strongly.

*

January 6th: Sun conjunct Venus ~ 11:35am
On Tuesday, January 6th, the Sun and Venus conjunct in Capricorn at 11:35am EST. This is a pleasant and harmonious aspect that supports socializing, connecting with friends, going on dates, and generally feeling more extroverted in the world. It can also help refine your sense of beauty, making it easier to notice and appreciate the good things around you.

You may feel more artistically inspired, with a greater ease in expressing creativity. This is a lovely day for spending time with friends, enjoying a date, or working on something playful and creative, like painting, pottery, or another hands-on project, allowing those Venusian vibes to work in your favor.

January 7th: Venus conjunct Mars ~ 9:43pm
On Wednesday, January 7th, Venus conjuncts Mars at 9:43pm EST. The Sun, Venus, and Mars are currently traveling together through Capricorn, with the Sun and Venus having just met yesterday. Now it’s Venus and Mars’ turn, and the Sun will conjoin Mars in just a few days.

This Venus/Mars transit is passionate, lively, and energizing. You may notice a surge of motivation along with a desire for playful, flirtatious interaction. It lends itself well to dance, gymnastics, skating, and other physical activities that blend movement with artistry.

Because Venus seeks harmony and connection while Mars is more impulsive and assertive, the merging of these energies can feel a bit unusual at times. You may notice people acting more direct and bold than usual, or conversely, more conciliatory and peace-seeking if they’re typically impatient or reactive.

January 8th: Mercury sextile North Node ~ 7:30am
On Thursday, January 8th, Mercury in Capricorn sextiles the Moon’s North Node at 7:30am EST. This transit supports boldness in communication and offers opportunities to speak your mind. While doing so may not always feel effortless, this aspect provides guidance and makes self-expression feel less intimidating.

You may notice greater mental clarity, an easier flow of ideas, and insights coming through writing or conversation. Overall, this is a pleasant and supportive transit for communication in all its forms.

January 9th: Sun conjunct Mars ~ 6:41am // Venus opposite Jupiter ~ 12:34pm
On Friday, January 9th, we have two major transits. The first occurs at 6:41am EST, as the Sun conjuncts Mars. As mentioned over the past few days, the Sun, Venus, and Mars have been traveling closely together in the sky, and now the Sun and Mars meet directly.

This is an energetic and activating transit that boosts physical stamina and encourages movement. It’s a great day to get the body moving, through exercise, sports, a brisk walk, or even some friendly competition. You may notice a buildup of energy, so if it isn’t released physically, it could be harder to quiet the mind or fully rest later on. With both planets in Capricorn, this energy is especially supportive for productivity, making steady progress, and checking items off your to-do list.

Later in the day, Venus opposes Jupiter at 12:34pm EST. This is a lush, indulgent transit that heightens our appreciation for beauty, pleasure, and life’s finer things. Enjoy the abundance, but be mindful of overdoing it, especially when it comes to spending or excess, as treating yourself may feel particularly tempting.

January 10th: Sun opposite Jupiter ~ 3:42am // Mars opposite Jupiter ~ 9:25am
Saturday, January 10th brings two major transits involving Jupiter. First, the Sun opposes Jupiter at 3:42am EST, creating big, amplified energy. This aspect can heighten the desire to be seen and heard, with egos flaring at even the smallest provocation. Details and emotions may feel exaggerated, and while this transit can be fun and exciting, it can also feel overwhelming, especially for those sensitive to energetic shifts. With this influence, very little is done quietly or half-heartedly.

Later in the morning, Mars opposes Jupiter at 9:25am EST. As mentioned previously, the Sun, Venus, and Mars are currently traveling close together, moving through the same series of transits in quick succession. This Mars/Jupiter opposition brings a surge of energy and urgency, making many people more impulsive and reactive. While it can help break through stagnation, there’s a risk of acting too quickly, jumping to conclusions, or engaging in unnecessary arguments.

The effects of the Mars/Jupiter opposition will linger into early next week, while the intensity of the Sun/Jupiter transit will begin to ease by tomorrow.

January 11th: Venus square Chiron ~ 11:13am
On Sunday, January 11th, Venus squares Chiron at 11:13am EST. This transit can bring relationship challenges to the surface, especially around vulnerability and emotional openness. While it may feel uncomfortable to let your guard down, meaningful shifts are possible if you’re willing to do so.

Many of the insecurities that arise under this aspect are rooted in the past, often tied to how we were treated by people we once tried to love, who may have rejected us or caused hurt. It can be helpful to pause and reflect on whether your current situation truly warrants this reaction, or if it’s an echo from a much earlier experience that now needs compassion, care, and healing.

Talking things through with trusted others can be especially supportive. With several challenging Chiron transits unfolding over the next few days, this marks a powerful window for healing that extends from now through Wednesday.

*

January 12th: Sun square Chiron ~ 3:31pm
On Monday, January 12th, the Sun squares Chiron at 3:31pm EST. We are currently in a potent Chirotic window of healing, with three separate Chiron transits unfolding over the course of four days. Today’s aspect is especially supportive for addressing insecurities around self-confidence and releasing fears about how others may perceive or respond to us.

This transit can help build courage and lessen the impulse to worry about others’ opinions. While long-standing anxieties or self-doubts may surface, it can be healing to talk them through with trusted people. Consider whether these worries are still serving a protective purpose, or if they are ready to be released or at least softened.

January 13th: Mars square Chiron ~ 5:33pm
Today, Tuesday, January 13th, brings the final transit in a series of three Chiron aspects that have unfolded over the past few days. At 5:33pm EST, Mars squares Chiron, a transit that has been building and will continue to be felt through the end of the week.

This transit focuses more on physical pain and the importance of listening to the body. It’s a more literal healing energy, encouraging us to tune in to what our bodies need and take steps toward relief. You might feel motivated to make changes in diet or lifestyle, or encounter someone who recommends a healer or practitioner who has helped them significantly. This could be someone you may decide to explore.

This is also a meaningful time to remember and care for those around us living with chronic pain or illness, extending compassion and support in a gentle way.

January 14th: Mercury opposite Jupiter ~ 3:17am
On Wednesday, January 14th, Mercury opposes Jupiter at 3:17am EST. This transit can supercharge your mental energy, making your thoughts race a mile a minute. While this can be great for diving into something you’re passionate or excited about, it may be harder to focus on tasks that don’t hold your interest in the moment.

If your day is open and flexible, this can work to your advantage, but if you have work, school, or other responsibilities, staying on task might prove challenging. This transit can also make many people quite chatty, and it may be difficult to quiet the mind enough to get restful sleep.

Journaling or doing a guided meditation that gently keeps your mind from wandering can be especially helpful during this time.

January 15th: Venus sextile Saturn ~ 1:18am // Venus trine Uranus ~ 10:22am
On Thursday, January 15th, our busy week continues with two Venusian transits. The first occurs at 1:18am EST, when Venus sextiles Saturn, setting a productive tone for the day. This aspect supports focus on creative projects and helps us make solid progress. It’s also favorable for teamwork, collaborations, and group efforts.

Later, at 10:22am EST, Venus trines Uranus, inviting fresh ideas and pleasant surprises in partnerships and groups. You may find that others bring unexpected inspiration, shaking things up in a positive way and opening the door for exciting new possibilities.

January 16th: Mercury square Chiron ~ 1:20am
On Friday, January 16th, Mercury squares Chiron at 1:20am EST, a transit we'll feel throughout the entire day. This aspect can highlight insecurities around how we communicate, express our ideas, and how we’re perceived by others. You may find yourself more self-critical than usual, questioning your thought processes or doubting your ability to articulate what you truly mean. Old wounds related to speaking up, being misunderstood, or not feeling heard can surface. While this energy can feel uncomfortable, it also offers a powerful opportunity for healing. By gently pushing past fear and self-doubt, this can be a potent day for releasing mental blocks, reclaiming your voice, and showing up more authentically in your communication.

January 17th: Venus sextile Neptune ~ 3:33am // Sun sextile Saturn ~ 5:41am // Venus enters Aquarius ~ 7:43am // Sun trine Uranus ~ 11:58am
On Saturday, January 17th, we have a very active day in the sky, with four major transits unfolding. The first arrives at 3:33am EST as Venus sextiles Neptune. This is a soft, dreamy influence that heightens imagination, artistic inspiration, and intuitive sensitivity. It can deepen emotional and energetic connections with others, creating a sense that boundaries are gently dissolving and that we’re almost telepathically attuned to those around us.

Next, the Sun sextiles Saturn at 5:41am EST, offering supportive energy for productivity, responsibility, and follow-through. This transit helps us stay focused, grounded, and committed, making it easier to handle practical matters or long-term goals with clarity and discipline.

At 7:43am EST, Venus enters Aquarius, where it will remain until February 10th. Venus in Aquarius emphasizes what makes our relationships unique and unconventional. While this isn’t the most traditionally romantic placement, it’s excellent for big-picture dreaming, connecting through shared ideals, brainstorming, and envisioning ways to create change together. There may be a stronger desire for freedom in relationships, or for finding new ways to experience more independence while still staying connected. This is also a fertile period for outside-the-box artistic exploration, experimentation, and avant-garde style.

Those with natal Venus in Aries, Gemini, Libra, Sagittarius, and Aquarius may feel a noticeable boost in creativity, social opportunities, and romantic flow. For those with natal Venus in Cancer, Virgo, Capricorn, and Pisces, this period is more neutral and may pass more quietly. Those with natal Venus in Taurus, Leo, and Scorpio may need to practice flexibility and compromise in relationships, remaining open to unexpected shifts. Trying to maintain too much control could lead to unnecessary tension.

Later in the day, the Sun trines Uranus at 11:58am EST, adding a spark of spontaneity and excitement. This transit encourages breaking free from routine, embracing surprises, and allowing the day to unfold in unexpected and liberating ways.

January 18th: Mercury conjunct Mars ~ 2:40am // New Moon in Capricorn ~ 2:51pm // Mercury sextile Saturn ~ 11:09pm
We are currently in the midst of a very active portal of celestial events. Today, Sunday, January 18th, Mercury and Mars meet in conjunction at 2:40am EST, an influence that colors the entire day. This is an energizing and productive transit that activates both the mind and body, strengthening the link between thought and action. You may notice your thoughts moving quickly, along with a strong motivation to act on your ideas. The energy is right for making progress, going on an adventure, and feeling aligned between what you think and what you do.

The New Moon in Capricorn perfects at 2:51pm EST, and with the surrounding transits supporting it, this lunation carries significant momentum. It’s an excellent day for solo pursuits, spending time outdoors, and shedding limiting beliefs that you may have accepted as fact. The Sun and Moon unite at 28 degrees Capricorn and sit in close conjunction with several other planets, including Mercury, Venus, and Mars. They also form supportive sextiles to Neptune and Saturn. While this is a dense concentration of energy, these harmonious aspects help ideas percolate and encourage a balance of inspiration and practical motivation.

This New Moon occurs in the third decan of Capricorn, the final portion of the sign, which is ruled by Mercury. As a result, mental activity is heightened, making this an ideal time for setting intentions, outlining goals for the year ahead, journaling, and writing in general. Later in the evening, Mercury sextiles Saturn at 11:09pm EST, further supporting focus, discipline, and follow-through. You may find it easier to lock into a task, organize your thoughts, and give something your full and sustained attention today.

January 19th: Mercury trine Uranus ~ 12:37am // Sun sextile Neptune ~ 4:54pm // Sun enters Aquarius ~ 8:44pm // Venus conjunct Pluto ~ 11:04pm
Happy Aquarius Season! The celestial intensity continues today, January 19th, with four notable transits. The first arrives at 12:37am EST as Mercury trines Uranus, encouraging out-of-the-box thinking and fresh perspectives. This transit can spark sudden “aha” moments and make it easier to broach unconventional topics, offering original insights and unexpected solutions.

Later in the day, the Sun sextiles Neptune at 4:54pm EST, enhancing imagination and compassion. We may feel more open-minded and subtly supported by the day’s energy. These transits are especially helpful for artistic pursuits, creative brainstorming, and breaking free from stagnant ways of thinking.

At 8:44pm EST, the Sun enters Aquarius, officially ushering in Aquarius Season, which lasts until February 18th. As the fixed air season, this period supports broadening our perspectives, zooming out to see the bigger picture, and honoring individuality and uniqueness. Aquarian energy is rooted in idealism, futurism, and a desire to improve the world. This season is typically most enjoyable for Aries, Gemini, Libra, Sagittarius, and Aquarius.

To close out the day, Venus moves into conjunction with Pluto at 11:04pm EST. This potent transit can bring depth, intensity, and transformation to relationships, as well as a magnetic pull toward creative passions, sometimes to the point where everything else fades into the background. This influence will carry into tomorrow as well.

January 20th: Saturn sextile Uranus ~ 12:19am // Mars trine Uranus ~ 12:56am // Mars sextile Saturn ~ 1:01am // Mercury sextile Neptune ~ 9:34am // Mercury enters Aquarius ~ 11:41am
Today, Tuesday, January 20th, we have five transits unfolding, making this a very busy cosmic day. It follows yesterday’s significant shifts, which may make the start of the week feel energetically overwhelming. Be sure to prioritize rest and grounding whenever you can.

The first arrives at 12:19am EST as Saturn sextiles Uranus. This is a major transit that initially began forming in 2025 and now reconnects, remaining active for the rest of the month. It supports restructuring our lives in ways that feel productive rather than chaotic. Change becomes possible without losing stability, helping us avoid leaping into the new with nowhere solid to land. This transit can bring breakthroughs around finding a path forward that is both spiritually fulfilling and materially abundant. Those with significant placements (Sun, Moon, or Rising) in Taurus and Pisces are likely to feel this most strongly.

Next, Mars trines Uranus at 12:56am EST, an influence that is palpable throughout the day. This transit encourages action, movement, and embodied energy. We may feel more impulsive, but in a way that supports inspired action, fun experimentation, and opening new doors.

At 1:01am EST, Mars sextiles Saturn, adding dedication, discipline, and a willingness to put in focused effort that feels genuinely rewarding.

Later in the morning, Mercury sextiles Neptune at 9:34am EST, a beautiful influence for creative writers, poets, and intuitive thinkers. This transit supports a stream-of-consciousness style of thinking and can bring moments of deep inspiration and imaginative flow.

Finally, Mercury enters Aquarius at 11:41am EST, where it will remain until February 6th. Mercury in Aquarius is electric, quick-witted, and mentally expansive. It thrives on innovative ideas, objective big-picture thinking, and challenging outdated traditions.

Those with natal Mercury in Aries, Gemini, Libra, Sagittarius, and Aquarius are likely to experience a mental boost, fresh insights, and renewed inspiration over the next two and a half weeks. Those with natal Mercury in Cancer, Virgo, Capricorn, and Pisces may feel relatively neutral, experiencing neither strong benefits nor challenges. Meanwhile, those with natal Mercury in Taurus, Leo, and Scorpio may notice increased mental rigidity and will benefit from consciously working to stay open-minded during this period.

January 21st: Sun conjunct Mercury ~ 10:48am
On Wednesday, January 21st, we have just one transit. After a wild stretch of cosmic activity, this day offers a welcome breather. The Sun and Mercury conjunct in Aquarius at 10:48am EST, boosting mental activity and opening the door to sudden ideas that feel inspired and even channeled in nature.

This transit is often referred to as the “genius” aspect, known for delivering flashes of innovation and inventive thinking at its peak. Pay close attention to ideas and instincts that surface between 9:48am and 11:48am EST. Consider keeping a notebook handy, recording a quick voice note on your phone, or talking things through with someone nearby. These insights can be fleeting, and may disappear as quickly as they arrive.

January 22nd: Mercury conjunct Pluto ~ 12:14pm
On Thursday, January 22nd, Mercury conjuncts Pluto in Aquarius at 12:14pm EST. This transit supports deep focus and sustained concentration, making it easier to lock into a project or immerse yourself in reading, research, or writing. Your powers of observation may feel heightened and more finely tuned than usual.

Often called the “detective” aspect, this alignment is excellent for digging beneath the surface, noticing details that may have previously gone unseen, and uncovering hidden truths. It can also increase discernment, helping you sense omissions or inconsistencies in others’ words.

Overall, this is a powerful day for exploring the depths of your interests, asking better questions, and absorbing new, thought-provoking information.

January 23rd: Mars sextile Neptune ~ 1:39am // Mars enters Aquarius ~ 4:16am // Sun conjunct Pluto ~ 5:28am
On Friday, January 23rd, we experience three major transits. The first arrives at 1:39am EST as Mars sextiles Neptune, an influence that has been building over the past few days. This transit aligns intuition with action, offering subtle guidance that helps us know when and how to move forward. We may feel instinctively drawn to certain people or places, almost as if magnetized toward them. This is a sensitive, romantic aspect that can feel deeply inspiring, creative, and emotionally moving.

Shortly after, Mars enters Aquarius at 4:16am EST, where it will remain until March 2nd. Mars in Aquarius is rebellious, future-focused, and oriented toward breaking traditions, or at the very least, questioning them. Motivation shifts away from purely personal gain and toward contributing to the collective good, at least for many. Technology and innovation receive a boost, making this an excellent time to upgrade tech, build or redesign a website, or integrate new platforms into your work or business. There may also be a stronger resistance to being micromanaged or told how something should be done.

Later in the morning, the Sun conjuncts Pluto in Aquarius at 5:28am EST. This is a potent transit that encourages us to face challenges head-on. It supports courage, personal empowerment, and profound inner transformation, helping us step into the next level of ourselves.

The weekend that follows is comparatively quiet, offering a welcome pause after the intense cosmic shifts of recent days.

*

January 26th: Neptune enters Aries ~ 12:38pm
On Monday, January 26th, we experience a major collective shift as Neptune moves into Aries at 12:38pm EST. Neptune briefly entered Aries last year, from March through October, before retrograding back into Pisces for a final passage. Now, Neptune begins a much longer stay in the first sign of the zodiac, where it will remain until March 2039.

Because this is such a long transit, it often corresponds with profound generational changes. The last time Neptune moved through Aries was between 1861 and 1875, a period marked by radical upheaval and sweeping changes to daily life. Neptune governs spirituality, collective consciousness, illusion, and confusion. During its recent journey through Pisces from 2011 to now, themes of escapism and dissolution intensified, particularly as society moved deeper into digital and technological immersion. This showed up through binge-watching, doom scrolling, immersive gaming, and other forms of digital retreat.

Neptune in Aries signals a significant shift away from disembodied or spaced-out behavior and toward greater impulsivity and engagement in the tangible world. This transit is likely to correlate with increased activism, shifts in national identity, and a stronger emphasis on individual sovereignty rather than rigid global order. These freedoms, however, may need to be actively fought for rather than passively granted.

Historically, Neptune’s time in Aries has coincided with major global turning points (such as the American Civil War, the formation of Great Britain, and the beginning of the Spanish Inquisition),  events that reshaped societies in lasting ways.
