December Cosmic Calendar

December 2nd: Venus sextile Pluto ~ 4:06am EST
On Tuesday, December 2nd, Venus forms a sextile to Pluto at 4:06am EST, setting the tone for the day ahead. This transit brings a focused, purposeful energy that is ideal for collaborating with others and working toward shared goals. Conversations cut through surface-level chatter, making it easier to get to the truth of a situation and recognize what truly matters. In this space, intimacy can deepen, connection can strengthen, and transformative progress becomes possible. This transit may also heighten magnetism and passion within relationships, revealing the power of mutual vulnerability and depth.

December 4th: Full Moon in Gemini ~ 6:14pm EST
On Thursday, December 4th, the Full Moon in Gemini perfects at 6:14pm EST, with the Moon at 13 degrees Gemini and the Sun opposite at 13 degrees Sagittarius. Both luminaries square the North and South Nodes, lending this lunation a fated quality, a sense of being nudged forward into growth. We may feel the pull to evolve and move on, even if there’s a little hesitation about stepping into what comes next.

The Full Moon in Gemini is quick, curious, and mentally active. Thoughts arrive rapidly, ideas multiply, and the desire to learn, read, speak, or seek answers may heighten. This is an inherently social moon, one that encourages conversation, exchange, and expression through both voice and written word.

With the Moon in the second decan of Gemini, ruled by Venus, creativity flows more freely. Collaboration is emphasized. This is an invitation to not hold your visions too tightly, but to share, connect, and co-create. Banter, brainstorming, and playful dialogue with friends, family, and partners all feel especially uplifting now.

As the last Full Moon of 2025, this moment also offers a closing arc. We have an opportunity to release outdated thinking patterns and set intentions around clearer, more aligned communication going forward.

December 5th: Sun square Nodes ~ 7:21am EST // Mars trine Chiron ~ 5:03pm EST
On Friday, December 5th, the Sun squares the Nodes of the Moon at 7:21am EST, extending the evolutionary tension sparked by yesterday’s Full Moon. This aspect can heighten the urge to make changes while simultaneously amplifying caution, doubt, or attachment to what feels familiar. The work of the day lies in balance. Honor the call toward growth, but approach it with awareness, grounding, and consideration. Change is on the horizon, but it’s worth pausing to ensure you’re prepared and supported before taking the leap.

Later at 5:03pm EST, Mars forms a trine to Chiron, a transit that has been building all week and continues to resonate through the weekend. This is a restorative and empowering influence, encouraging a stronger connection between body and mind. It is time to tend to your physical needs, make supportive adjustments to your lifestyle, and release tension stored in the body. Compassion toward yourself goes a long way under this influence. Healing happens not through force, but through patience, presence, and gentleness.

December 6th: Mercury trine Jupiter ~ 8:04am EST
On Saturday, December 6th, Mercury trines Jupiter at 8:04am EST, an influence that extends throughout the day. This transit sparks the mind, lifting enthusiasm and opening the door to expansive thinking. Curiosity leads, and ideas may flow more freely, making it easier to connect with others through conversation, shared interests, and lively exchanges. The energy here is quick, bright, and optimistic, excellent for dreaming big, exploring possibilities, and taking steps to bring your ideals into form.

December 7th: Mercury trine Saturn ~ 11:57am EST
On Sunday, December 7th, Mercury trines Saturn at 11:57am EST. While yesterday’s energy leaned toward excitement and possibility, today brings grounding and clarity. This is a productive influence that supports planning, organization, and steady progress toward long-term goals. Saturn’s presence adds focus and discipline, helping us think practically and move with intention. Today we can lock into a groove, map out next steps, and create structure to support the big dreams we’ve been envisioning.

*

December 8th: Mars square Saturn ~ 7:15pm EST
On Monday, December 8th, Mars moves into a square with Saturn at 7:15pm EST, a transit that has been building over the weekend and lingers through midweek. This aspect can slow our momentum and bring awareness to exhaustion, responsibility, and the weight of everything we’ve been carrying. The astrology of the past few months has been intense, and this moment highlights accumulated burnout, asking us to recognize our limits and tend to our wellbeing.

Fatigue, soreness, or a sense of depletion may surface, and while Saturn may stir guilt around productivity, it’s important not to push yourself past your capacity. Rest is not avoidance; we can instead look at it as fuel. Give yourself space to pause, replenish, and honor what your body is communicating. Recovery is part of the process, and this transit reminds us that stepping back is often what allows us to move forward with strength and clarity.

December 10th: Neptune Rx ends ~ 7:23am EST // Mercury opposite Uranus ~ 2:59pm EST
On Wednesday, December 10th, Neptune stations direct at 7:23am EST, ending its retrograde at 29 degrees Pisces. Neptune dipped briefly into Aries earlier this year before sliding back into Pisces, and during its several-month retrograde we may have felt disoriented or unsure of what to trust, like perception itself was shifting. Retrogrades invite deeper attunement to instinct, intuition, and inner navigation. When we can’t see the path clearly, muscle memory of the spirit becomes our guide.

As Neptune turns direct, some of the fog begins to lift, but the lesson remains: stay in relationship with your inner knowing. Nourish your intuition so that when the mist returns (as it inevitably will), you move through it with steadiness rather than fear.

Later, at 2:59pm EST, Mercury opposes Uranus, adding electricity to communication. Words may come out abruptly, unexpectedly, or with a jolt of truth. Others may surprise you, and you may surprise yourself. This transit stirs rebellion, provocation, and the urge to shake things up. Conversations crackle with unpredictability, and the desire to break patterns is strong.

December 11th: Venus square Nodes ~ 12:42am EST // Mercury trine Neptune ~ 5:19am EST // Mercury enters Sagittarius ~ 5:39pm EST
Thursday, December 11th is a highly active day in the sky. We begin with Venus squaring the Nodes of the Moon at 12:42am EST, which may pull people or memories from the past back into our orbit. This can create a sense of being stretched between familiarity and growth, between someone who offers comfort but limits expansion, and new possibilities that feel exciting yet outside your comfort zone. There’s no pressure to resolve this tension immediately, but it's a good time to ponder what it is you want and hope to bring into being around these connections.

At 5:19am EST, Mercury trines Neptune, bringing a dreamy, imaginative tone to the day. Compassion deepens, intuition strengthens, and ideas flow through like channels of inspiration rather than linear thought. Later, at 5:39pm EST, Mercury re-enters Sagittarius, a placement we experienced earlier this season before its retrograde took it back into Scorpio. Mercury will remain in Sagittarius until January 1st, inviting curiosity, exploration, and broader perspective. This transit encourages us to stretch our thinking, seek new experiences, and consider the world through unfamiliar lenses. Travel is highlighted, whether to distant places or simply somewhere new in your own hometown.

Adventurousness is rewarded now. If you have natal Mercury in Aries, Leo, Libra, Sagittarius, or Aquarius, this buoyant energy may feel especially uplifting and stimulating. For those with Mercury in Taurus, Cancer, Scorpio, or Capricorn, the effect may be subtler or more neutral. And if your Mercury is in Gemini, Virgo, or Pisces, you may feel challenged by the shift. You could find yourself wanting clarity or precision where Sagittarius prefers big-picture thinking. Try softening your perspective and opening to what wants to expand. Sometimes, loosening control is what allows the horizon to widen.

December 13th: Mercury sextile Pluto ~ 11:31am EST
On Saturday, December 13th, Mercury forms a sextile to Pluto at 11:31am EST. This is a highly focused transit, one that sharpens perception and heightens awareness of subtle details. It encourages us to look beneath the surface, to read between the lines, and to follow intuitive threads toward deeper truth. This is excellent energy for investigation, research, and uncovering what might normally go unnoticed.

With Mercury now in Sagittarius, curiosity is amplified, and what once felt intimidating may now appear as an intriguing challenge. There’s a sense of mental courage here that shows up as a willingness to explore, question, and pursue understanding with enthusiasm rather than hesitation.

December 14th: Mars square Neptune ~ 6:43am EST // Sun trine Chiron ~ 7:36am EST
On Sunday, December 14th, Mars squares Neptune at 6:43am EST, a transit that has been building over the weekend and lingers through midweek. This aspect can slow momentum and cloud direction, leaving us unsure of which step to take next. It may feel as though you’re moving through familiar terrain but suddenly can’t remember the path, like you missed a turn you’ve taken effortlessly a hundred times before. Confusion, distraction, or a pull toward escapism may surface, making it tempting to check out rather than take action. Grounding is key here; presence will be your anchor.

Also today, the Sun trines Chiron (exact at 7:36am EST), offering a stabilizing counterbalance. This supportive influence bolsters confidence and strengthens the willingness to face vulnerability rather than retreat from it. Together, these energies encourage us not to abandon the challenge, but to meet it gently. We can do this by showing up, step by step, even when clarity is still forming.

*

December 15th: Mars enters Capricorn ~ 2:33am EST
On Monday, December 15th, Mars enters Capricorn at 2:33am EST, where it will remain until January 23rd. Mars is exalted in Capricorn, so its energy is strong, grounded, and highly expressive here. This transit supports strategy, disciplined action, and showing up with steady, consistent effort. It’s especially beneficial for those who work independently or from home, as it strengthens focus, resilience, and self-direction.

Though this isn’t a fast-paced transit, it is an efficient one. Mars in Capricorn favors deliberate steps over rushed movement. It helps us avoid cutting corners, stay committed to the task at hand, and produce work of higher quality.

People with natal Mars in Taurus, Virgo, Scorpio, Capricorn, or Pisces often thrive under this energy, finding it easy to align their output and momentum. Those with natal Mars in Gemini, Leo, Sagittarius, and Aquarius tend to experience this transit more neutrally, neither especially boosted nor challenged.

Natal Mars in Aries, Cancer, and Libra may find this period more demanding. Aries Mars can struggle with the slower, steadier pace and may need to temper impulsivity. Cancer and Libra Mars may feel stretched by the independent, self-driven tone of the transit, preferring collaboration or support. Some conscious compromise and adjustment will help navigate this period with greater ease.

December 16th: Sun square Saturn ~ 11:33pm EST
On Tuesday, December 16th, the Sun squares Saturn at 11:33pm EST, a tense transit we’ll feel building throughout the day. This energy can amplify loneliness or make it harder to connect with others in a soft, open way. It may feel like it’s all work and no play, like you have to stay hyper-focused and organized or everything could fall apart. Remember, that pressure isn’t entirely accurate. Balance can provide some much needed relief.

This transit can make us overly critical and exacting, creating a sense that nothing is ever quite good enough. Do your best, then step back. Let things breathe. Give yourself space to shift gears and return later with a clearer, refreshed perspective.

December 18th: Venus trine Chiron ~ 4:16pm EST
On Thursday, December 18th, Venus forms a trine to Chiron at 4:16pm EST. This is a gentle, supportive transit that favors relationships and emotional healing through our bonds with others. A trine is a harmonious aspect, allowing both planets to bring out the best in each other. Here, Venus’s warmth and connection blend seamlessly with Chiron’s healing influence.

We may find ourselves opening up more easily, connecting more deeply, and feeling supported by the people around us. This transit can also help strengthen self-esteem, especially around appearance, self-expression, and the confidence to show up authentically.

With tomorrow’s New Moon building, there’s a natural pull toward softer, quieter energy. A calm evening, either solo or with people who enjoy shared silence, may feel especially nourishing.

December 19th: New Moon in Sagittarius ~ 8:43pm EST
On Friday, December 19th, the New Moon in Sagittarius perfects at 8:43pm EST. This lunation occurs with the Sun and Moon conjunct at 28 degrees Sagittarius, forming squares to Saturn and Neptune. This is a potent New Moon that invites big dreams, exploration (whether outward or inward) and a release of limiting beliefs or external pressures that have been weighing you down.

The Saturn/Neptune square highlights the need to balance idealism with grounded planning. Neptune encourages vision, while Saturn reminds us to bring structure and intention to those dreams. This is an excellent time to learn something new, begin a class or course of study, or make (or plan) a meaningful journey. Even long-term travel goals, those “someday” bucket-list adventures, are worth dreaming up now.

This New Moon falls in the third decan of Sagittarius, ruled by the Sun, inspiring confidence, warmth, and open-hearted courage. Its energy encourages stepping into something new with optimism and bravery.

Those born between April 15th–19th, August 17th–21st, and December 17th–21st may feel this New Moon most strongly and receive its biggest boost.

December 20th: Mercury square Nodes ~ 10:59am EST // Sun square Neptune ~ 8:01pm EST
On Saturday, December 20th, two major transits shape the day. The first arrives at 10:59am EST as Mercury squares the Nodes of the Moon. This aspect can create a mental snag or sense of being caught in an outdated perspective that limits forward movement. The North Node pulls us toward growth and evolution, asking us to acknowledge the ways we may be contributing to our own stagnation. Conversations may feel circular or repetitive, as though no real progress is being made. Finding a way to interrupt the cycle, even briefly, can help shift the energy.

Later, at 8:01pm EST, the Sun squares Neptune, casting a dreamy, imaginative tone over the evening. This can bring whimsy and creative fantasy, but also moments of confusion or disorientation. Sensitivity to others’ moods and energies may be heightened, so gentle boundaries and grounding practices can be especially supportive.

December 21st: Venus square Saturn ~ 12:08am EST // Jupiter square Chiron ~ 5:07am EST // Sun enters Capricorn ~ 10:03am EST
Happy Capricorn Season and blessed Yule! Today brings three major transits. The first arrives at 12:08am EST as Venus squares Saturn. This aspect can highlight feelings of responsibility or heaviness in relationships. We may feel burdened by our connections, or worry that we’re burdening others. Creative collaborations and teamwork can feel strained, either because others aren’t contributing equally or because our ideas don’t seem to be fully recognized.

Jupiter also forms a square to Chiron at 5:07am EST, a transit that’s been building over the past week and will carry us through the end of the year. This energy can stir old wounds around spirituality, belief systems, or previous experiences with religion. It may also bring up feelings of being blocked from expansion or personal growth by external circumstances or the people around us. While both of these transits can feel heavy in theory, they offer significant opportunities for healing. Honest self-reflection, gentle truth-telling, and directing compassion inward can help us move through and beyond what arises.

At 10:03am EST, the Sun enters Capricorn, where it will remain until January 19th. Capricorn season is ideal for focused work, ambition, strategy, and slow-and-steady progress. As the sign of cardinal earth, Capricorn is about carving out a self-directed path, one built with intention, durability, and long-term stability. Rather than seeking quick fixes, this energy invites us to construct something meaningful that can grow stronger over time.

Capricorn Season also ushers in the Winter Solstice (or Summer Solstice in the Southern Hemisphere). The Solstice is a powerful turning point when the balance of light and dark is at its most extreme. In the Northern Hemisphere, today marks the longest, darkest day of the year, a reminder to hold to the light within and around us. Working with candles, tealights, or a glowing hearth can symbolize resilience, warmth, and renewal. For those in the Southern Hemisphere, this is Litha, the longest day of the year, celebrating sunlight, abundance, and flourishing growth.

December 24th: Venus square Neptune ~ 12:30am EST // Venus enters Capricorn ~ 11:25am EST
I hope you’re having a lovely holiday season. On Wednesday, December 24th, two Venus transits color the day. At 12:30am EST, Venus squares Neptune, a dreamy, ethereal energy that we’ll feel strongly through the first half of the day. This aspect encourages curiosity, imagination, and creative flow. It’s especially supportive for artists, writers, and anyone who works with intuition or stream-of-consciousness expression. While it can help us see the beauty in others, it may also make it easier to gloss over issues or avoid addressing them. Enjoy the inspiration, but stay grounded in awareness.

Later, at 11:25am EST, Venus enters Capricorn, where it will remain until January 17th. This transit emphasizes commitment, consistency, and long-term dedication in relationships and creative pursuits. It invites us to stay the course, be dependable, and strengthen bonds through steady effort and resilience.

Those with natal Venus in Taurus, Virgo, Scorpio, Capricorn, or Pisces tend to enjoy this energy most and may notice a boost in creativity and romance. Natal Venus placements in Gemini, Leo, Sagittarius, and Aquarius experience this period more neutrally. Those with natal Venus in Aries, Cancer, or Libra may need to lean into compromise, adjust expectations, and practice patience with others during this time.

December 27th: Mercury trine Chiron ~ 7:14pm EST
On Saturday, December 27th, Mercury forms a trine to Chiron at 7:14pm EST. This supportive transit brings clarity to the mind and creates space for healing through communication. It helps us recognize and release unhealthy habits or thought patterns, allowing us to approach situations with greater objectivity, compassion, and optimism. Mercury’s influence opens the door to honest expression, while Chiron encourages vulnerability, making it easier to speak from the heart and share truths that may have felt too tender to voice before.

This is an excellent day for journaling, writing, and sorting through your inner landscape on paper. Insights can arrive more fluidly, and conversations with loved ones, friends, or trusted confidants can feel especially meaningful and restorative. If you’ve been wanting to clear the air, offer an apology, or simply articulate something that’s been lingering within, this transit provides a gentle, supportive backdrop. Overall, it’s a deeply healing energy that helps strengthen both self-understanding and the bonds we share with others.

*

December 29th: Mars sextile Nodes ~ 7:50pm EST
On Monday, December 29th, Mars forms a sextile to the Nodes of the Moon at 7:50pm EST. This is a pleasant, powerful transit to carry us into the New Year. We’ve felt it building since the end of last week, and its influence will stay with us as we move into early 2026. This aspect is highly motivating and encourages spiritually aligned action that feels purposeful, intuitive, and guided.

There’s a gentle push toward taking a leap of faith or pursuing something new. Inspiration flows more easily under this transit, helping us recognize opportunities or desires that may have been sitting quietly beneath the surface. Even if we feel slightly out of our element, this is a potent period for embracing change and taking thoughtful risks. Staying open to surprise and allowing yourself to improvise can lead to breakthroughs.

With Mars currently in Capricorn, there’s an added layer of grounding and stability, helping us “stick the landing” and follow through on whatever we set into motion.

December 30th: Mercury square Saturn ~ 2:15am EST
On Tuesday, December 30th, Mercury squares Saturn at 2:15am EST. This transit can bring communication blocks, stubborn thinking, and even moments of writer’s block. Self-doubt may surface, making it harder to express yourself clearly. However, there are valuable gifts here as well. With focus and persistence, this transit offers an opportunity to deepen your mastery through dedication and patience.

Though it might feel easy to become frustrated or misunderstood under this energy, it’s important not to give up. Instead, concentrate on small, achievable goals that build momentum step by step. Be gentle and compassionate with yourself and treat yourself as you would a dear friend in need of encouragement.

This marks the final major transit of 2025. I’ve truly enjoyed reading the skies for you over this past year (and for the ten years before that, wow!) and I’m excited to continue exploring the celestial rhythms with you in 2026. Wishing you a beautiful, magical close to the year. See you in the new year!

November Cosmic Calendar

November 2nd: Venus opposite Chiron ~ 1:37am EST // Venus square Jupiter ~ 6:16pm EST
On Sunday, November 2nd, Venus makes two major transits. The first occurs at 1:37am EST, as Venus forms an opposition with Chiron. This aspect brings relationships into focus and offers an opportunity to heal and grow, both through and from challenging dynamics. We’re encouraged to be vulnerable in our close connections and to share what’s truly on our minds and hearts. While this transit can stir frustration or sadness around our interactions with others, it’s worth reflecting on whether those feelings stem from the present moment or from old wounds still reverberating within us.

Later in the day, at 6:16pm EST, Venus squares Jupiter. This transit carries a warm, sociable, and exuberant energy. You may feel drawn to indulge through spending more, seeking attention, or reaching for something grander and more exciting. Ambitions and desires may expand, fueling creativity and artistic inspiration. This is a buoyant and expressive influence that invites us to enjoy life’s pleasures, but with a touch of mindfulness and balance.

*

November 3rd: Mars trine Neptune ~ 10:59pm EST
On Monday, November 3rd, Mars forms a trine with Neptune at 10:59pm EST. This transit has been building over the weekend and will be felt through midweek. This brings a gentle yet motivating influence that perfectly captures the idea of inspired action. Neptune represents intuition and imagination, while Mars brings boldness and drive. Together, they harmonize to spark meaningful insight and guide us toward decisions and actions that feel divinely aligned.

You may feel called to follow a creative vision or take steps toward something that feels spiritually or emotionally fulfilling. This transit also heightens empathy and compassion, as Neptune softens Mars’s edges and dissolves barriers between ourselves and others. The effect may feel especially potent today, with both planets at the 29th degree of their respective signs. The 29th degree is also called the anaretic point, and that amplifies their energy and urgency for change.

November 4th: Mars enters Sagittarius ~ 8:01am EST // Mars opposite Uranus ~ 12:30pm EST
On Tuesday, November 4th, Mars enters Sagittarius at 8:01am EST, where it will remain until December 15th. Mars in Sagittarius is curious, adventurous, and restless. This is a wonderful time to shake up routines, give yourself room to explore, and seek inspiration through new experiences. Even if travel isn’t possible right now, you can still satisfy this energy by visiting a new park, trying a different restaurant, or exploring an unfamiliar trail. Any excuse for adventure fits perfectly under this influence.

With Mars in Sagittarius, it can be harder to sit still or stay confined to one place for too long. Boredom and distraction may come more easily, so keep life interesting and dynamic. Those with natal Mars in Aries, Leo, Libra, Sagittarius, or Aquarius will likely thrive under this transit, feeling an overall boost in energy and enthusiasm. For those with Mars in Taurus, Cancer, Scorpio, or Capricorn, this period may feel more neutral or steady. If your natal Mars is in Gemini, Virgo, or Pisces, you may need extra rest and downtime during these five to six weeks.

Later in the day, at 12:30pm EST, Mars moves into an opposition with Uranus in Gemini. This transit carries rebellious, volatile energy that can stir up sudden changes, conflicts, or disruptions. While it can be quarrelsome or chaotic, it also brings the courage and momentum needed to challenge limitations and demand change. The atmosphere is restless, impulsive, and highly charged, so frustrations with control or restriction may surface easily. Channel this energy productively toward innovation or advocacy, and move mindfully, as this transit can increase the likelihood of accidents when people act without thinking ahead.

November 5th: Full Moon in Taurus ~ 8:19am EST
On Wednesday, November 5th, the Full Moon in Taurus perfects at 8:19am EST. This lunation occurs at 13 degrees of Taurus, opposite the Sun at 13 degrees Scorpio. The Taurus Full Moon invites us to manifest shifts around finances, material stability, and personal values. It's time to focus on what we can control, be it our surroundings, our routines, or the tangible world before us.

However, this lunation isn’t without its magic. Taurus reminds us that the sacred lives in the simple and the sensory, in the texture of the present moment. You may feel called to assess your possessions, release what no longer serves you, and take pleasure in what you love. Enjoying art, music, food, or nature feels especially fulfilling now. Listen to a favorite album, visit a museum, see a beautiful film, or cook something comforting at home.

Slow down and savor what’s around you. Ground yourself in beauty and trust the steady rhythm of growth. This Full Moon falls in the second decan of Taurus, ruled by Mercury, lending clarity, discernment, and insight. It’s an ideal time for problem-solving, writing, and using words with intention and care.

November 6th: Venus enters Scorpio ~ 5:39pm EST
On Thursday, November 6th, Venus enters Scorpio at 5:39pm EST, where it will remain until November 30th. Venus in Scorpio is passionate, magnetic, and deeply feeling. This transit invites us to crave intimacy and authenticity in our connections. Over the next few weeks, focus on quality over quantity in your relationships. Choose depth over breadth and cherish those you can truly be yourself around. After the light, social energy of Venus in Libra, this shift asks for sincerity, emotional honesty, and meaningful bonds.

This energy also lends itself beautifully to art, creativity, and focus. You may find it easier to lose yourself in an artistic project or channel emotion into something you’re building, painting, writing, or dreaming.

Those with natal Venus in Cancer, Virgo, Scorpio, Capricorn, or Pisces tend to thrive under this influence, finding it supportive for romance, friendship, and creative inspiration. It’s more neutral for Venus in Aries, Gemini, Libra, and Sagittarius, neither particularly challenging nor especially energizing. For those with Venus in Taurus, Leo, or Aquarius, this period may bring tension between a desire for freedom and a call for emotional depth. You may need to balance your instinct to multitask with the Scorpio pull toward full presence and commitment.

November 7th: Uranus re-enters Taurus ~ 9:21pm EST // Venus square Pluto ~ 10:43pm EST
On Friday, November 7th, Uranus retrogrades back into Taurus at 9:21pm EST, where it will remain until April. This marks the final five months of Uranus in Taurus for the next 84 years, likely the last time any of us will experience this transit in our lifetime. Uranus first entered Taurus in 2018, so this period represents the closing chapter of a cycle that began then.

Uranus in Taurus has disrupted social values, financial systems, and our collective sense of material security. While its effects are largely generational, we each feel its ripples personally, particularly in how we relate to money, comfort, and stability. These next few months offer an opportunity to break free from stagnant habits, cultivate financial independence, and embrace unconventional approaches to security and self-worth.

The last time Uranus moved through Taurus was during the Great Depression and Dust Bowl era. This was a time that also brought reforms such as the New Deal, the implementation of Social Security, and new banking regulations. Similarly, we may continue to see major shifts in global economics and rising demands for equity and reform in the months ahead.

Later in the day, at 10:43pm EST, Venus forms a square to Pluto, intensifying emotions in relationships. Feelings of jealousy, control, or obsession may surface as we crave deeper connection or power over outcomes. This transit can make relationship dynamics feel all-consuming. Matters of the heart may take on a sense of urgency or gravity. The most constructive way to channel this energy is through creativity and self-expression. Artistic work created under this influence can be especially powerful, passionate, and transformative.

November 8th: Sun trine North Node ~ 7:34am EST
On Saturday, November 8th, the Sun forms a trine to the North Node at 7:34am EST, a transit that colors the entire day. This is a hopeful, forward-looking influence that encourages courage and growth. You may feel more willing to take a leap of faith or step into a new chapter of life. A door may open now, but it’s up to you to walk through it and see what’s waiting on the other side.

While comfort zones can feel tempting, this energy invites movement and change. Ask yourself: where have I been standing still? What’s ready to evolve? This aspect can bring clarity around long-term goals or even reconnect you with your deeper sense of purpose and calling.

Today also marks the final day before Mercury turns retrograde, making it a good time to wrap up logistical details. Back up your devices, have important conversations, and finalize plans, bookings, or documents now. You’ll likely save yourself some headaches once Mercury begins its retrograde motion tomorrow.

November 9th: Mercury Rx begins ~ 2:01pm EST
On Sunday, November 9th, Mercury stations retrograde at 2:01pm EST. The retrograde begins at 6 degrees Sagittarius and will carry Mercury back into Scorpio before it ends on November 29th. This cycle has two distinct phases, each with a different tone.

The first phase, from November 9th to November 18th, takes place in Sagittarius. This period tends to affect movement, travel, and communication on a broad scale. Expect potential detours, delays, and mix-ups, whether that’s construction traffic on your route, missed connections, or shifting travel plans. Flights may be delayed or canceled, hotels may lose reservations, and schedules may need flexibility. The best approach: double-check itineraries, confirm details, and give yourself extra time to get where you’re going.

The second phase, from November 18th through November 29th, unfolds in Scorpio and will shift the focus to emotional communication and deeper understanding in relationships. We’ll explore that energy more when we reach the 18th.

If you have significant placements (Sun, Moon, Rising, or Mercury) in Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, or Pisces, you’ll likely feel the effects of this first stage more strongly.

*

November 11th: Jupiter Rx begins ~ 11:41am EST
On Tuesday, November 11th, Jupiter stations retrograde at 11:41am EST, beginning a period that lasts until March. Jupiter spends about four months each year in retrograde motion, so this is an energy we’re all fairly accustomed to. During this time, it’s helpful to re-evaluate your beliefs, values, and guiding philosophies, and to make adjustments in your ambitions or long-term goals. Listen to your intuition and avoid rushing into big decisions. You can absolutely take bold steps forward, but do so with care and intention, making sure you’re aligned with the direction you truly want to go.

Since Jupiter is currently moving through Cancer, these themes are likely to focus on family, home, nostalgia, and the past. This can be a meaningful time to simplify where life has become too busy or emotionally cluttered, especially in matters of home and family.

November 12th: Mercury conjunct Mars ~ 6:15pm EST
On Wednesday, November 12th, Mercury aligns with Mars in Sagittarius at 6:15pm EST. This energy builds throughout the day, bringing a lively, quick-witted tone to our interactions. This is a sharp, mental aspect that helps us cut through confusion, keep conversations moving, and think on our feet. You may notice a stronger connection between mind and body, with your thoughts translating more directly into action. This is a dynamic and mostly pleasant transit, though with Mercury currently retrograde, there may be a need to revisit or finally complete a project that’s been lingering.

There are no major transits again until Monday the 17th, so enjoy this stretch of quieter skies. I’ll see you all then! I’m available for readings during this time... more information is in my story highlights or at the link in my bio.

*

November 17th: Sun trine Jupiter ~ 12:07am EST // Sun trine Saturn ~ 3:55am EST // Mercury sextile Pluto ~ 3:35pm EST
After a few quiet days in the cosmos, we’re back with an action-packed week ahead! On Monday, November 17th, the Sun trines Jupiter at 12:07am EST, kicking off the first of three transits today. This is a bright and optimistic aspect that can boost enthusiasm, confidence, and the desire to express ourselves openly.

The next transit arrives at 3:55am EST, as the Sun trines Saturn. This one grounds us and helps channel focus into something tangible and productive. Together, the Jupiter and Saturn trines strike a beautiful balance, allowing us to dream big while staying practical enough to build something real. Sun trine Saturn supports diligence, organization, and clear, steady progress.

Finally, Mercury sextiles Pluto at 3:35pm EST. With Mercury still retrograde, this transit encourages us to review past work, notice inconsistencies, and refine what needs attention. It is an excellent influence for editing, research, or uncovering hidden details. Pluto helps us look beneath the surface and discover what we might have missed before.

This is also the final day of Mercury retrograde in Sagittarius. It moves back into Scorpio tomorrow, shifting the flow of mental energy in a noticeable way.

November 18th: Mercury re-enters Scorpio ~ 10:20pm EST
On Tuesday, November 18th, Mercury retrogrades back into Scorpio at 10:20pm EST, where it will remain for the rest of its retrograde cycle, ending on November 29th. While the previous phase of Mercury retrograde in Sagittarius may have stirred up issues around travel, scheduling, and movement, this next phase turns our focus inward, toward communication and understanding within close relationships.

During this time, it may be easier to misread others or have your own words misunderstood. Assumptions can form quickly, sometimes based on perceptions that feel true but aren’t grounded in fact. Clarity, honesty, and openness are essential. Try not to withhold information or jump to conclusions. If miscommunication does arise, emotional reactions can amplify confusion, so take extra care with your tone and timing.

Communicating in writing or text can be helpful now, offering a clearer record and reducing room for misinterpretation. Those with significant placements (Sun, Moon, Rising, Mercury) in Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, or Aquarius may feel this shift more strongly than others.

November 19th: Venus trine North Node ~ 4:53am EST // Mercury opposite Uranus ~ 6:44am EST // Mercury trine Neptune ~ 7:21am EST
On Wednesday, November 19th, our busy week continues with three major transits unfolding throughout the day.

Venus trines the North Node of the Moon at 4:53am EST, offering a boost to relationships and connections. This aspect can draw new and meaningful people into our lives, those who act as catalysts for growth or change. You might feel guided to go somewhere or reach out to someone and find that a chance encounter leads to something significant. Even brief interactions can carry messages that gently (or not so gently) redirect your path in a positive way. This energy also supports new creative inspiration and vision.

Later, Mercury opposes Uranus at 6:44am EST, bringing a surge of mental energy, innovation, and unpredictability. This is a mischievous, trickster-like aspect that can shake things up, especially with Mercury currently retrograde. Expect surprises, flashes of insight, or disruptions that shift your perspective.

Finally, Mercury forms a trine to Neptune at 7:21am EST, softening the edges of the day with compassion, imagination, and emotional understanding. It can help dissolve barriers between yourself and others, opening space for empathy and deeper connection.

The New Moon in Scorpio builds overnight, and its energy can be felt all day. It is mystical, transformative, and deeply intuitive. This lunation heightens spiritual awareness and may bring vivid dreams, sudden realizations, or an undeniable sense of connection to the unseen world.

November 20th: New Moon in Scorpio ~ 1:47am EST // Sun conjunct Mercury ~ 4:23am EST // Uranus sextile Neptune ~ 9:39am EST
On Thursday, November 20th, the New Moon in Scorpio perfects at 1:47am EST. This lunation is especially active, forming several aspects to other planets. The Sun/Moon conjunction at 28 degrees Scorpio conjuncts Mercury, trines Saturn and Neptune, and opposes Uranus. The result is an intense and somewhat overwhelming energy, like being pulled into a vortex of emotion and change. You may feel drawn to stillness, quiet, or solitude as a way to process and ground.

The New Moon in Scorpio is always a time of deep transformation. It invites honesty, emotional courage, and the willingness to face what’s been buried. This energy can help us confront fears, release grief, and transmute heavy or stagnant emotions within the body. It assists with renewal and reclaiming your inner strength.

Later in the morning, the Sun conjuncts Mercury at 4:23am EST, creating a bright portal of insight and clarity amid the darkness. Sudden realizations or inspired ideas may arise, fleeting but potent. Jot them down or share them with someone before they slip away.

At 9:39am EST, we experience one of the most significant transits of the month as Uranus sextiles Neptune. This aspect first occurred at the end of August, and with both planets retrograding, it returns now for another wave of collective awakening. Uranus and Neptune together spark innovation, change, and visionary thinking.

This transit will repeat three more times before completing, with the next alignment in July. The last Uranus/Neptune sextile occurred between 1966 and 1968, a time of cultural revolution, shifting power structures, and the rise of new social ideals. Though the planets are in different signs now, we may see echoes of those themes in the form of movements of empowerment, rebellion, and the amplification of alternative voices. This energy supports compassion, collective progress, and advocacy for those without privilege or access. Yet, as with all Uranian energy, change often comes through disruption first.

November 21st: Sun opposite Uranus ~ 7:25am EST // Sun trine Neptune ~ 8:05am EST // Sun enters Sagittarius ~ 8:35pm EST
This week has been a lot... and it’s not over yet! On Friday, November 21st, we have three major solar transits lighting up the skies.

The first arrives at 7:25am EST, when the Sun opposes Uranus. This aspect can bring surprises or sudden changes in plans. You may notice rebellious energy around you, or feel a personal urge to break free from routine and do something spontaneous.

At 8:05am EST, the Sun trines Neptune, softening the atmosphere and inviting creativity, compassion, and spiritual connection. It’s a beautiful transit for artistic expression, empathy, and seeing the world through a more inspired lens.

Then, at 8:35pm EST, the Sun moves into Sagittarius. Happy Sagittarius season! The season of the Archer ushers in a spark of optimism and adventure. As the mutable fire sign, Sagittarius brings movement, excitement, and a desire to explore both the world and the mind. This is a time for celebration, play, and expansion.

Ruled by Jupiter, Sagittarius season reminds us to seek joy, share laughter, and embrace life’s larger meaning. It encourages learning, travel, and conversations that open our perspectives. This energy tends to feel especially uplifting for Aries, Leo, Libra, Sagittarius, and Aquarius placements.

November 22nd: Mercury trine Saturn ~ 1:45pm EST // Mercury trine Jupiter ~ 6:37pm EST
On Saturday, November 22nd, this busy week continues as Mercury forms two supportive trines. The first arrives at 1:45pm EST when Mercury trines Saturn, helping to cut through some of the Mercury retrograde fog. This aspect brings clarity, focus, and renewed dedication, especially useful for work, writing, or anything that requires steady attention to build.

Later in the day, Mercury trines Jupiter at 6:37pm EST, giving a lift to mental activity and overall outlook. This transit can spark inspiration, passion, and conversation. You may find yourself eager to share ideas, or revisiting old thoughts and discussions in a way that feels productive and even enjoyable.

November 23rd: Sun sextile Pluto ~ 2:19pm EST
November has been quite a busy month celestially and we continue in the same vein for the last week of the month. On Sunday, November 23rd, the Sun sextiles Pluto at 2:19pm EST. With the Sun newly in Sagittarius, this aspect brings focus, boldness, and a spark of excitement. With this powerful energy backing you, you can set big goals or tackle something that might feel overwhelming on an ordinary day, meeting it with strength and enthusiasm. This transit supports tapping into a “boss mentality” and giving your full energy to whatever needs to get done.

*

November 24th: Mars square Nodes ~ 8:32am EST // Mercury conjunct Venus ~ 8:51pm EST
On Monday, November 24th, our busy end to November continues as Mars squares the Nodes of the Moon at 8:32am EST. This transit has been building over the weekend and will be felt through midweek. You may notice a sense of being slowed down or held back, as though your drive to accomplish more doesn’t quite match your physical energy. There’s tension between what you want to do and what you’re actually capable of in the moment. Aim for balance. Pace yourself without letting external obstacles bring you to a full stop.

Later in the day, Mercury and Venus meet in conjunction at 8:51pm EST. This is a socially attuned transit that supports warm, charming, and lighthearted interactions. Flirtatious or friendly banter abounds. With Mercury still retrograde, you may find yourself reconnecting with people from the past or revisiting an old creative project with a fresh perspective.

November 26th: Venus trine Jupiter ~ 11:31am EST // Venus trine Saturn ~ 6:47pm EST
On Wednesday, November 26th, we have two pleasant transits that bring a warm, sunny tone to the day. At 11:31am EST, Venus forms a trine with Jupiter, a social and expansive aspect that encourages us to broaden our horizons. We may be in the mood to share ideas and curiosities, explore new places, or enjoy culture with loved ones. It may also spark romantic interest or open the door to new connections.

Later, at 6:47pm EST, Venus trines Saturn, helping us commit more deeply and follow through on what we’ve promised others. This transit is supportive for buckling down on creative projects and brings a touch of refined grace and sophistication to the work we produce.

November 27th: Saturn Rx ends ~ 10:51pm EST
On Thursday, November 27th, Saturn retrograde comes to an end at 10:51pm EST. This retrograde has been in effect since mid-July, which is typical for Saturn’s cycle. During this four-month stretch, we may encounter karmic themes resurfacing or find ourselves revisiting old responsibilities and commitments. I often think of Saturn retrograde as opening the door to a metaphorical closet you haven’t checked in a while. If you’ve been stuffing things inside to avoid dealing with them, they may tumble out.

You always have a choice: tuck everything back in for later, or sort through it and let go. Saturn isn’t here to punish; it rewards effort. By showing up consistently, doing the work, and seeking to improve your life, you set yourself up for a smoother, more supportive period moving forward.

November 29th: Mercury Rx ends ~ 12:38pm EST // Venus opposite Uranus ~ 9:48pm EST
On Saturday, November 29th, Mercury retrograde comes to an end at 12:38pm EST, with Mercury stationing direct at 20 degrees Scorpio. This is the final Mercury retrograde of 2026, and it may have felt especially intense given how active this season has been astrologically. Mercury won’t return to the degree it originally stationed retrograde at until December 16th. Over the next two and a half weeks, many of the retrograde’s challenges will ease, though some processing and releasing may still unfold.

The latter half of this retrograde brought themes of honesty, trust, and being truly seen. Miscommunications, assumptions, or even breaks in trust may have surfaced during this period. Things begin to lighten significantly by mid-December.

Venus also opposes Uranus at 9:48pm EST, which could introduce surprises or shake-ups in relationships or creative ventures. Impulsive makeovers could occur as well, with some deciding to cut or dye their hair, get a new tattoo, or make another big change. Stay open and go with the flow for the best result.

November 30th: Venus trine Neptune ~ 3:48am EST // Venus enters Sagittarius ~ 3:13pm EST
On Sunday, November 30th, we close out the week with two final transits. At 3:48am EST, Venus trines Neptune. This is a gentle, dreamy influence that helps creative ideas flow more easily. This aspect encourages big dreaming and an idealistic lens that can feel spiritually aligned or even fated. It’s a highly imaginative transit that helps us feel closer to others and see beyond the surface to the energy underneath.

Later in the day, Venus enters Sagittarius at 3:13pm EST, where it will remain until December 24th. This is an adventurous, curious placement for the planet of love and beauty. We may feel drawn to explore with loved ones or dive into poetic, philosophical conversations with the people we meet. Traveling with a romantic partner or close friend is especially supported now. While this isn’t the strongest placement for deep, grounded commitment, intimacy and connection can still flourish, just with more spaciousness than structure.

Those with natal Venus in Aries, Leo, Libra, Sagittarius, or Aquarius will feel the biggest boost over the next three and a half weeks, with love and creativity receiving a noticeable lift. Venus in Taurus, Cancer, Scorpio, or Capricorn will experience this transit more neutrally. For those with natal Venus in Gemini, Virgo, or Pisces, the freer, more open energy may feel overwhelming at times, and releasing expectations will help keep things balanced.

October Cosmic Calendar

October 1st: Mercury square Jupiter ~ 4:59pm EST
Happy October! On Wednesday, October 1st, Mercury forms a square to Jupiter at 4:59pm EST, a transit we’ll feel throughout the day. Mercury is at 22 degrees Libra, while Jupiter sits at 22 degrees Cancer. This cardinal square activates the mind, sparking curiosity and a strong appetite for knowledge. We may feel compelled to gather information and chatter about whatever captures our interest.

The energy can bring a tendency to ramble or speak impulsively, which might feel fun and exciting for some but mentally restless for others. It may be harder to turn off the brain in order to rest, focus, or relax. Overall, this is a scattered yet stimulating influence, better suited for multitasking, exploration, and exchanging broad ideas with others than for detail-oriented concentration.

October 3rd: Mercury opposite Chiron ~ 2:04pm EST
On Friday, October 3rd, Mercury in Libra moves into opposition with Chiron in Aries at 2:04pm EST, an influence we’ll feel throughout the day. This aspect can stir overthinking, mental overwhelm, or a heightened sensitivity around communication. We may find ourselves second-guessing our words, monitoring our thoughts, or worrying about how we come across to others, which can feel draining.

The invitation here is to practice gentleness with yourself and with others. This is a powerful day for vulnerability and honest expression. Share your ideas and opinions without pressuring yourself to be flawless, and release the need to control how others respond. This alignment supports the release of negative thought patterns and invites Chiron’s healing influence, opening the way for clearer, more vibrant communication.

October 4th: Venus conjunct South Node ~ 5:20am EST
On Saturday, October 4th, Venus conjuncts the South Node at 5:20am EST, setting the tone for the entire day. Meeting at 18 degrees Virgo, this alignment carries a wave of nostalgia that can bring past relationships, memories, and connections back into focus. Some may hear from or interact with people from long ago, while others might experience powerful dreams or find that someone from the past lingers strongly in their thoughts.

This transit may also revive old creative ideas or call you back to unfinished artistic projects. Past-life themes can resurface as well, appearing through hazy memories or sudden feelings of familiarity with others. The day is steeped in sentimental energy, making it especially potent for revisiting the past, whether through your own history or by immersing yourself in vintage music, movies, art, and other echoes of earlier times.

*

October 6th: Mercury enters Scorpio ~ 12:40pm EST // Full Moon in Aries 11:47pm EST
Monday, October 6th brings two powerful transits. The first occurs at 12:40pm EST as Mercury ingresses into Scorpio, where it will remain until October 29th. Mercury in Scorpio emphasizes trust, depth, and intimate one-on-one connections. Over the coming weeks, honesty is key. Secrets or half-truths are more likely to surface under this influence. This transit supports profound idea-sharing and deep conversations that can feel almost telepathic in their intensity. Small talk, however, may feel especially draining or frustrating.

Those with natal Mercury in Cancer, Virgo, Scorpio, Capricorn, or Pisces will find this energy flowing most naturally, while Aries, Gemini, Libra, and Sagittarius may experience it more neutrally. For Taurus, Leo, and Aquarius placements, it could feel more challenging, requiring patience and compromise to adapt to Mercury’s probing, mysterious tone here in Scorpio.

Later in the day, the Full Moon in Aries perfects at 11:47pm EST, with the Moon at 14 degrees Aries opposing the Sun at 14 degrees Libra. This lunation carries bold, pioneering energy that favors decisive action and independent thought. It is not the time for second-guessing or trying to blend in. Instead, lean into what feels authentic and aligned with your spirit. Aries encourages risk-taking, boundary-setting, and courageous steps toward newness. You may stir the waters or ruffle feathers, but that’s part of the path. Trust your instincts, embrace the adventure, and allow the Full Moon to illuminate your next brave move.

October 7th: Mercury square Pluto ~ 10:40am EST
On Tuesday, October 7th, Mercury squares Pluto at 10:40am EST, an influence that lingers throughout the day. This transit sharpens perception and fuels the desire to dig beneath the surface in search of truth. While this intensity can be valuable for problem-solving and focused investigation, it may also stir suspicion, obsessive thinking, or even paranoia.

The mind can easily become caught in loops, fixated on uncovering hidden motives or analyzing situations to the point of exhaustion. To ease this energy, it’s wise to direct curiosity toward something less personal and more constructive. Puzzles, strategy games, research projects, or mystery novels can provide a satisfying outlet, allowing the mind to work deeply without straining relationships or overanalyzing the behavior of others.

October 8th: Venus sextile Jupiter ~ 7:40am EST
The astrology on Wednesday, October 8th, is especially favorable. At 7:40am EST, Venus forms a sextile with Jupiter, a transit that infuses the entire day with lightness and ease. This alignment brings a buoyant, optimistic energy that supports relationships, creativity, and self-confidence.

Artistic inspiration flows more freely, making it an excellent time for creative projects, redecorating, or refreshing your style with clothing or beauty treatments. Social interactions are also highlighted. Whether spending time with friends, going on a date, or simply enjoying the company of others, the atmosphere is warm and harmonious. Conflicts are less likely to arise, leaving more room for joy, connection, and appreciation of life’s simple pleasures.

October 11th: Venus opposite Saturn ~ 7:10am EST
On Saturday, October 11th, Venus in Virgo opposes Saturn in Pisces at 7:10am EST, an influence that colors the entire day. This aspect may bring feelings of frustration or limitation, particularly in relationships, finances, or creative expression. Time constraints, responsibilities, or practical concerns could make it harder to express yourself freely, and relationships may feel more restrictive than supportive. This can stir feelings of loneliness or disconnection, as if others aren’t meeting us where we’d like them to.

To work with this energy, lean into discipline and realism. While shortcuts are unlikely to yield results, patience and a steady, pragmatic approach can bring lasting growth. This transit asks us to face obstacles directly, and in doing so, we may uncover valuable lessons that strengthen both our creative work and our connections with others.

*

October 13th: Venus enters Libra ~ 5:18pm EST // Venus opposite Neptune ~ 9:15pm EST // Pluto retrograde ends ~ 10:52pm EST
Monday, October 13th brings a full day in the cosmos. Venus enters Libra at 5:18pm EST, where it will remain until November 6th. Because Venus naturally rules Libra, this transit flows with harmony and ease. It highlights relationships of all kinds, be they romantic, platonic, or familial, while encouraging us to seek connection, cooperation, and common ground. Creativity and artistry also thrive under this influence.

Those with natal Venus in Gemini, Leo, Libra, Sagittarius, or Aquarius may feel especially inspired and supported in both relationships and creative pursuits. For Venus placements in Taurus, Virgo, Scorpio, or Pisces, the energy will feel pleasantly steady and simple. If your Venus is in Aries, Cancer, or Capricorn, you may notice a desire for greater independence, or even occasional friction with others.

Later in the evening, Venus opposes Neptune at 9:15pm EST. This dreamy aspect dissolves boundaries, making it easier to feel in tune with others and to channel imaginative, artistic insights. While the energy can feel blissful and otherworldly, it may also blur clarity. Stay mindful of confusion, idealization, or illusions.

Finally, Pluto stations direct at 10:52pm EST after being retrograde since early May. Pluto spends about five months in retrograde each year, drawing our attention inward toward shadow work and transformation. With Pluto now moving forward, we begin integrating those inner lessons and can channel them into meaningful, lasting external change.

October 14th: Venus trine Uranus ~ 10:09am EST // Venus trine Pluto ~ 7:45pm EST
On Tuesday, October 14th, Venus makes two powerful connections. Freshly in Libra, Venus first forms a trine with Uranus at 10:09am EST. This aspect highlights surprises, spontaneity, and adventure in relationships. It’s a great day to break free from routines, try something new with friends or loved ones, and embrace the unexpected. Creatively, this energy can spark bold, unconventional ideas that push your artistry in exciting directions.

Later in the evening, Venus trines Pluto at 7:45pm EST. Together, these transits color the energy of the entire day. Venus/Pluto connections bring depth, transformation, and courage into our relationships, helping us face challenges with greater honesty and strength. The theme for today is collaboration, and finding new ways to grow, evolve, and create alongside those we’re aligned with.

October 17th: Sun square Jupiter ~ 1:42am EST // Sun opposite Chiron ~ 7:40pm EST
On Friday, October 17th, two solar transits shape the tone of the day. The Sun squares Jupiter at 1:42am EST, amplifying energy and encouraging boldness. This aspect can bring a sense of adventure, excitement, and expansion, but it may also lean into overconfidence or exaggeration. Voices and opinions may feel louder than usual, and the overall atmosphere can be a lot to take in.

Later, at 7:40pm EST, the Sun opposes Chiron. This influence contrasts the earlier exuberance, stirring up insecurities or sensitivity around how we’re seen and valued. Some may respond by leaning harder into ego and performance, while others may feel the urge to retreat. The day as a whole carries a push-pull quality between showing up boldly and questioning whether we belong. Practice compassion for yourself and others, and create space where everyone feels safe to express their authentic selves.

October 18th: Mars trine North Node ~ 9:40am EST // October 19th: Mercury trine North Node ~ 4:32am EST
On Saturday, October 18th, Mars forms a trine with the North Node at 9:40am EST. With Mercury traveling close to Mars in the sky, the two planets will soon align, perfecting their conjunction on Monday. Because of this, Mercury will also make the same trine to the North Node tomorrow, October 19th, at 4:32am EST. Let’s look at what each of these transits offers, and how their energies may weave together.

The Mars/North Node trine ignites motivation and drive. Actions feel purposeful, as though guided by something larger or fated. This is an excellent influence for setting goals around physical health, vitality, and building a more energized lifestyle.

When Mercury forms its trine to the North Node tomorrow, the focus shifts toward communication and clarity. Words flow more easily, helping us articulate thoughts, connect meaningfully with others, and channel inspiration into writing or conversation.

Together, these transits encourage aligned action and expression, aiding us in moving forward with both courage and clarity.

*

October 20th: Mercury conjunct Mars ~ 2:51am EST
On Monday, October 20th, Mercury and Mars join in a conjunction at 2:51am EST, both positioned at 19 degrees Scorpio. This is a powerful alignment, strengthened by the trines each planet is forming to the North Node (see my last post for more about that).

This transit links body and mind, sparking motivation, movement, and purposeful action. Mental clarity and decisiveness are heightened, making it easier to cut through distractions and move forward with courage. With both planets in Scorpio, there’s also a penetrating quality, allowing us to see beneath the surface, analyze deeply, and act with precision.

As we enter the dark moon phase and prepare for tomorrow’s New Moon, this conjunction encourages boldness, assertiveness, and fearless steps toward what lies ahead.

October 21st: New Moon in Libra ~ 8:25am EST
On Tuesday, October 21st, the New Moon in Libra perfects at 8:25am EST, with the Sun and Moon uniting at 28 degrees Libra. This lunation carries a creative, artistic energy, inviting us to draw inspiration from within and express it outward.

The Libra New Moon can shine a light on relationships and partnerships that no longer serve us, encouraging a reset and fresh intentions in those areas. It also calls us to cultivate inner peace, creating a safe, gentle, and balanced space for ourselves.

Unlike most New Moons, which tend to feel introspective and solitary, this one leans toward the social. It’s a wonderful day to spend quiet, creative time in the company of others, with each person immersed in their own project, yet sharing the same space. Simple, harmonious togetherness can feel both inspiring and nourishing under these skies.

October 22nd: Neptune re-enters Pisces ~ 5:46am EST // Sun enters Scorpio ~ 11:50pm EST
Happy Scorpio Season! Wednesday, October 22nd brings two major cosmic shifts.

The first arrives early, at 5:46am EST, when Neptune retrogrades back into Pisces. Neptune previously spent over a decade in Pisces, from 2011 until its move into Aries this past March. Now, it revisits Pisces for a final chapter until January, after which it won’t return for more than 150 years. This period offers us a chance to close out cycles and integrate the lessons of Neptune in Pisces. Themes here center around spirituality, collective consciousness, escapism, and altered states of perception. During this era, many sought refuge in technology or turned away from physical reality. Now, we can consciously direct this energy toward meaningful connection, creativity, and channeling spiritual or abstract insights in grounded ways.

Later on, at 11:50pm EST, the Sun enters Scorpio, ushering us fully into Scorpio Season. Scorpio, the fixed water sign, symbolizes depth, shadow, transformation, and truth-seeking. It is like diving into a deep, glittering pool that keeps going further and further into secret caves and grottos. It invites us to move beyond surface appearances and engage with what is hidden, intimate, and profoundly real. From now until November 21st, the focus shifts toward quality over quantity in relationships, emotional honesty, and embracing the mysteries of life. This is an ideal time to engage in ritual, meditation, and practices that connect us with deeper layers of meaning.

Signs that tend to harmonize most easily with Scorpio’s energy include Cancer, Virgo, Scorpio, Capricorn, and Pisces, making this season especially resonant for them.

October 23rd: Jupiter square Chiron ~ 6:19pm EST
On Thursday, October 23rd, Jupiter squares Chiron at 6:19pm EST, a major transit that has been building over the past week and will continue to resonate through the rest of the month.

This alignment opens a powerful window for healing and growth. Old wounds, particularly those connected to belief systems, religion, or spirituality, may come into focus. With Jupiter’s expansive influence, we’re encouraged to move beyond limiting patterns and step into greater understanding. This transit can also inspire us to support others on their healing journeys, reminding them of the power they carry within.

Jupiter square Chiron helps shift us away from blind faith or rigid dogma and toward more personal, authentic ways of connecting with meaning. It broadens perspective, urging curiosity and open-mindedness. Some may feel called to travel, explore new ideas, or break free from old routines. Others may be drawn to study languages, history, or spiritual traditions that expand awareness.

At its best, this transit is about embracing healing, wisdom, and a worldview that honors both personal truth and the richness of diverse perspectives.

October 24th: Sun square Pluto ~ 9:24am EST // Mercury trine Jupiter ~ 11:07am EST
On Friday, October 24th, two significant transits color the first half of the day.

At 9:24am EST, the Sun squares Pluto, stirring determination and intensity. This aspect can push us to confront challenges, authority, or power dynamics, urging us to stand strong and act with courage. While this energy thrives on the underdog spirit, be mindful not to create conflict for its own sake. Used wisely, it can fuel resilience, bravery, and the will to overcome obstacles that truly matter.

Just a couple of hours later, at 11:07am EST, Mercury forms a trine with Jupiter. This lighter, more expansive aspect encourages curiosity, optimism, and the free flow of ideas. Conversations may feel more engaging and uplifting, and writing or communication of any kind may come more easily. This is a wonderful transit for learning, teaching, connecting socially, or sharing insights with others.

Together, these transits invite us to balance intensity with openness, tapping into courage while also staying curious and connected.

October 25th: Mercury trine Saturn ~ 5:16pm EST
On Saturday, October 25th, Mercury forms a trine with Saturn at 5:16pm EST. This transit supports focus, concentration, and disciplined thinking. It is an excellent influence for tackling projects that require sustained attention. It’s a great day to commit to study, research, or problem-solving, as the mind is more inclined toward clarity and structure. This aspect favors realistic brainstorming, helping us move past distractions or overly idealistic ideas in order to land on practical, lasting solutions.

Mercury trine Saturn also supports serious conversations and collaborative work, though Saturn’s influence may make solitary efforts especially productive. Whether you are working alone or with others today, this is a transit that rewards patience, diligence, and steady mental effort.

*

October 28th: Mars trine Jupiter ~ 2:19am EST
On Tuesday, October 28th, Mars forms a trine with Jupiter at 2:19am EST. This energy has been building over the weekend and will resonate through the end of the week.

This adventurous and uplifting transit encourages exploration, spontaneity, and new discoveries. It’s an ideal time to break free from stagnation and follow sparks of inspiration. You may feel more impulsive, with your body leading the way even before your mind catches up.

Mars trine Jupiter is especially favorable for athletes or anyone looking to engage more fully with their physicality. Confidence, boldness, and dynamic energy are highlighted, making it a great period to set personal goals and pursue them with enthusiasm and courage.

October 29th: Mercury trine Neptune ~ 3:26am EST // Mercury enters Sagittarius ~ 7:02am EST // Mars trine Saturn ~ 3:05pm EST // Mercury opposite Uranus ~ 3:35pm EST
Wednesday, October 29th is packed with cosmic activity, featuring four major transits.

At 3:26am EST, Mercury trines Neptune, opening channels for imagination, inspiration, and spiritual connection. This dreamy, expansive energy is excellent for artists, writers, or anyone seeking to connect with ideas beyond the ordinary.

At 7:02am EST, Mercury enters Sagittarius, where it will eventually turn retrograde in November, briefly return to Scorpio, and then move back into Sagittarius after the retrograde. Mercury in Sagittarius encourages playful, dynamic thinking, exploration, and philosophical curiosity. Communication can be more direct, adventurous, and occasionally impulsive. Those with natal Mercury in Aries, Leo, Libra, Sagittarius, or Aquarius are likely to resonate most with this energy. Mercury in Taurus, Cancer, Scorpio, or Capricorn will feel it more neutrally, while natal Mercury in Gemini, Virgo, or Pisces may experience some mental tension or overwhelm. Mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, Pisces) will feel the retrograde most strongly.

Later, at 3:05pm EST, Mars trines Saturn, providing steady energy for goal-setting, productivity, and completing tasks. This is a great time for finishing projects at home, pushing forward at work, or taking actionable steps toward personal goals.

Shortly after, at 3:35pm EST, Mercury in Sagittarius opposes Uranus in Gemini. This transit can stir restlessness, mental chatter, and a scattered feeling. Physical activity or channeling energy into purposeful action can help calm the mind and make the most of this dynamic, unpredictable energy.

October 30th: Mercury sextile Pluto ~ 6:06pm EST
On Thursday, October 30th, Mercury forms a sextile with Pluto at 6:06pm EST. This transit sharpens the mind and helps us uncover hidden truths. It’s an excellent day for problem-solving, research, and brainstorming, especially when tackling longstanding mysteries or complex situations. You may feel like a natural detective, noticing details that others might miss and approaching challenges with curiosity and insight.

Happy Samhain and blessed Halloween! This is a powerful time for connecting with those who have passed, honoring ancestors, and glimpsing beyond the veil. Opening yourself to the mysteries of life can reveal unexpected treasures and insights. Wishing you a magical, safe, and inspiring holiday.

September Cosmic Calendar

September 1st: Saturn re-enters Pisces ~ 4:06am EST
On Monday, September 1st, we begin the month with Saturn retrograding back into Pisces at 4:06am EST. Saturn first entered Aries in May of this year, but now returns to Pisces to finish out this chapter, where it will remain until February. In Pisces, Saturn asks us to bring grounding and structure to our dreams, visions, and fantasies. Think back to the period from March 2023 through May 2025. You may have found your aspirations to be expansive, even overwhelming at times, and perhaps struggled with how to make them tangible. Progress often required careful preparation, discipline, and steady effort. Emotional healing was also a key theme, and for those unwilling to face what needed mending, things may have unraveled or revealed deeper challenges.

During this final five-month stretch of Saturn in Pisces, we are invited to revisit these lessons with greater clarity. It is time to balance the boundless, imaginative energy of Pisces with Saturn’s call for practicality and sustainability. Notice where cycles are wrapping up, where illusions are dissolving, and where you’re ready to bring vision into form. Trust Saturn to help you refine, ground, and make real what once seemed just out of reach.

September 2nd: Mercury enters Virgo ~ 9:23am EST
On Tuesday, September 2nd, Mercury enters Virgo at 9:23am EST. Mercury is at home in this sign, one of the two it rules, and will remain here until September 18th. Because Mercury governs the mind, logic, communication, and perception, its placement in Virgo supports sharp focus, analytical thinking, and careful attention to detail. This is an excellent two week period for problem-solving, organizing, streamlining routines, and bringing order to the areas of life that feel cluttered or inefficient. Clear, concise communication also comes more naturally under this influence, making it easier to work on projects that require precision and thoroughness.

The potential challenges of this transit include overthinking, being overly critical of ourselves or others, and struggling to switch gears or multitask. Those with natal Mercury in Taurus, Cancer, Virgo, Scorpio, or Capricorn often feel most at ease with this energy and may find it highly supportive. For Mercury in Aries, Leo, Libra, or Aquarius, the influence is more neutral, neither particularly helpful nor disruptive. If your natal Mercury is in Gemini, Sagittarius, or Pisces, however, the meticulous and exacting nature of Mercury in Virgo can feel restrictive or nitpicky, requiring a conscious effort to balance detail-oriented focus with broader, more flexible thinking.

September 3rd: Mercury square Uranus ~ 3:40am EST // Jupiter trine North Node ~ 2:36pm EST
On Wednesday, September 3rd, two major transits take place. The first arrives early in the morning, at 3:40am EST, when Mercury squares Uranus. This energy can stir up restlessness, mental overdrive, and an almost nonstop flow of thoughts or chatter. Conversations may run long, or you might find yourself rambling without a clear point. Others may surprise you with their words or behavior, catching you off guard. This is a day when the mind can easily get stuck in loops of “what ifs,” so it’s important to stay grounded in the present and give yourself mental breaks where possible.

Later in the day, at 2:36pm EST, Jupiter forms a trine to the North Node of the Moon. This transit has been building over the past week and will continue to be felt into next week. Jupiter’s expansive influence here supports growth, bold steps forward, and opportunities that feel aligned with our greater path. This is a chance to stretch beyond your comfort zone and step toward experiences that feel exciting, adventurous, and full of potential. Progress comes through courage, by saying yes to what feels both meaningful and inspiring.

September 4th: Mars square Jupiter ~ 10:58pm EST
On Thursday, September 4th, Mars forms a square with Jupiter at 10:58pm EST, a transit that has been building over the past several days and will linger into early next week. Mars sits at 18 degrees Libra while Jupiter is at 18 degrees Cancer, creating a cardinal square that can feel sticky, impulsive, and restless. This is a daredevil aspect, often fueling bold but reckless choices, leaping before looking, or saying yes to more than you can realistically handle.

The energy may push us toward impatience, overextension, and a restless drive for action. While taking initiative can feel like a release valve, it’s important to pause and consider the consequences before charging ahead. This transit encourages adventure and exploration, but discernment matters. There’s a difference between crossing the street toward new horizons and darting into traffic without looking.

September 6th: Uranus Rx begins ~ 12:51am EST
On Saturday, September 6th, Uranus stations retrograde at 12:51am EST, beginning a cycle that lasts until February 3rd. Uranus moves retrograde every year for about five months, so its rhythm is familiar. but each cycle highlights a different area of growth and change. While Uranus in direct motion often brings sudden shifts and external disruptions, its retrograde phase turns the focus inward, offering space for reflection and gradual, more deliberate transformation.

With Uranus currently in Gemini, this retrograde emphasizes shifts in perspective, self-concept, and communication. You may find yourself rethinking old narratives, reconsidering how you connect with others, or reframing the way you approach learning and information. Rather than rushing into change, this period supports moving slowly, integrating insights, and preparing for breakthroughs at a steadier pace.

At the start of this retrograde, Uranus is stationed at 1 degree Gemini, but it will dip back into Taurus before the cycle ends. This gives the retrograde two distinct phases: from now until November, the focus is on Gemini themes of thought and communication; later, as Uranus returns to Taurus, the energy will shift toward stability, resources, and the material foundations of life.

September 7th: Full Moon in Pisces / Lunar Eclipse ~ 2:08pm EST
On Sunday, September 7th, the Full Moon in Pisces occurs at 2:08pm EST, with the Moon at 15 degrees Pisces and the Sun at 15 degrees Virgo. Falling exactly halfway through their respective signs, this lunation also arrives as a total Lunar Eclipse. This will be most potent in Asia and western Australia, where the visibility will be the greatest. This is the opening of eclipse season, which continues until September 22nd. Eclipse season is always a powerful period, when the veil is said to thin and transformation accelerates. Changes often come with urgency or pressure, especially around the eclipses themselves on September 7th and 21st.

This particular Full Moon is deeply emotional, sensitive, and dreamlike. Imagination runs strong, but illusions may be pierced by reality, bringing clarity where we’ve been avoiding truth. Emotions are heightened, and the energy can swing from waves of longing and daydreaming to intense bursts of creativity and insight. With the Moon in the second decan of Pisces (ruled by the Moon itself), intuition and spirituality are emphasized. This is a time to trust signs, synchronicities, and gut feelings, while also remembering to stay grounded.

The Virgo Sun reminds us not to get lost in fantasy or overwhelm, but to keep one foot firmly on the earth. Simplicity, discernment, and clarity are allies here, helping us anchor the wisdom of this eclipse into tangible growth.

September 10th: Sun conjunct South Node ~ 3:19pm EST
After a few quieter astrological days, the Sun meets the South Node on Wednesday, September 10th, perfecting at 3:19pm EST. The South Node is a point along the Moon’s orbital axis that represents history, memory, and karmic ties. This transit, felt throughout the day, draws us toward nostalgia and the familiar, whether childhood memories, old favorites, or even echoes of past lives.

You may find yourself craving comfort, revisiting beloved music, films, or places that once brought joy. The energy can feel like a warm blanket, reminding us of where we’ve come from and the experiences that have shaped us. While it can be meaningful to reconnect with the past, it’s important not to get stuck there. This alignment is best used as inspiration. Gather insight from what once was, and carry it forward into the present and future with clarity and purpose.

September 11th: Mercury conjunct South Node ~ 9:58pm EST
On Thursday, September 11th, Mercury aligns with the South Node of the Moon, following the Sun’s connection to this same point just yesterday. This transit invites us to look back, whether through reminiscing with friends and family, revisiting old memories, or rediscovering ideas that once sparked our curiosity. It’s also supportive for recalling forgotten details, finding misplaced objects, or mentally returning to significant moments from the past. This can even be helpful for recalling past lives. The aspect perfects at 9:58pm EST, with its energy especially strong in the hour before and after. Use this time to reconnect with what has shaped you and notice what the past may still have to offer.

September 12th: Sun sextile Jupiter ~ 3:30am EST // Mercury sextile Jupiter ~ 5:53pm EST
On Friday, September 12th, we’re graced with two cheerful transits. The first arrives early, at 3:30am EST, when the Sun in Virgo forms a supportive sextile to Jupiter in Cancer. This uplifting influence lasts throughout the day, bringing optimism, generosity, and a spirit of adventure. It encourages openness to new experiences and helps us approach challenges with humor and grace, making it easier to see fresh possibilities. Later, at 5:53pm EST, Mercury also sextiles Jupiter, adding another layer of warmth and inspiration. This energy sparks lively conversations, exciting ideas, and plenty of humor. It’s a wonderful influence for sharing thoughts, exploring philosophy, and engaging in meaningful discussions. Writers and creatives, in particular, may find words flowing with ease and enthusiasm.

September 13th: Sun conjunct Mercury ~ 6:51am EST
On Saturday, September 13th, the Sun meets Mercury at 6:51am EST in what’s known as Mercury Cazimi, a potent alignment often called the “genius aspect.” During the exact window from 5:51am to 7:51am EST, the mind is especially sharp and receptive, with ideas flowing quickly and brilliantly. This energy continues throughout the day, offering perspective shifts, flashes of inspiration, and sudden insights. Some of these ideas may be fleeting, so it’s wise to jot them down or share them aloud before they slip away. With this Cazimi happening in Virgo, spending time in nature can open you further to divine inspiration and help channel clarity into practical form.

September 15th: Venus sextile Mars ~ 11:03pm EST
On Monday, September 15th, Venus forms a harmonious sextile with Mars at 11:03pm EST. Venus shines at 25 degrees Leo while Mars energizes at 25 degrees Libra, blending fire and air in a lively and creative exchange. This pleasant aspect stirs passion and inspiration, motivating us to direct our energy toward pursuits that light us up. It’s especially supportive of creative expression like music, dance, art, photography, and any form of play that lets us channel joy into action. In relationships, this transit encourages teamwork, passion, and mutual engagement, making it easier to collaborate and connect in meaningful ways. It can also spark healthy competition, offering a boost for athletes, performers, or anyone working together toward a shared goal.

September 16th: Venus trine Chiron ~ 6:10am EST  // Mars opposite Chiron ~ 11:46am EST
On Tuesday, September 16th, we experience two significant Chiron transits. The first arrives at 6:10am EST, when Venus forms a supportive trine to Chiron. This brings opportunities for healing through relationships, whether by working through old wounds with loved ones or creating an atmosphere where others feel safe and supported. Because this is a trine, the energy flows more easily, suggesting that healing may come in gentle, affirming ways rather than through struggle or conflict.

Later, at 11:46am EST, Mars opposes Chiron. This is a more challenging influence that has been building for several days and will linger through the week. This aspect can stir up frustrations around decision-making, self-assertion, or the tendency to suppress anger, which may then surface as resentment or passive-aggressiveness. It may also manifest physically as tension or discomfort in the body. The invitation here is to lean on the Venus–Chiron trine. Approach vulnerability with openness, communicate honestly, and resist the urge to bottle things up. Releasing what’s inside with compassion can transform frustration into clarity and healing.

September 17th: Mercury opposite Saturn ~ 1:47pm EST
On Wednesday, September 17th, Mercury opposes Saturn at 1:47pm EST. Mercury sits at 28 degrees Virgo while Saturn, having recently retrograded back into Pisces, also reaches 28 degrees. This transit is strongly felt throughout the day, sharpening the mind and encouraging focused, detail-oriented work. It can, however, tip into over-critical thinking both toward yourself and others, so be mindful and redirect your thoughts when needed. This is an excellent time to tackle projects or work toward a goal, but if you find yourself trying to “fix” things that don’t need fixing, channel that energy into something productive, like helping with tasks that truly need attention or engaging in puzzles or games that challenge your analytical skills.

September 18th: Mercury enters Libra ~ 6:05am EST // Mercury opposite Neptune ~ 6:00pm EST
On Thursday, September 18th, Mercury moves into Libra at 6:05am EST, where it will remain until October 6th. Mercury in Libra favors fairness, balance, and harmony, making it an excellent time for pleasant conversations, thoughtful discussions, and engaging with art, music, and film. On the flip side, this placement can heighten indecision and make quick, bold choices more challenging. Communication flows best when we seek common ground and aim to unite rather than confront.

Those with natal Mercury in Gemini, Leo, Libra, Sagittarius, or Aquarius will feel especially supported by this energy, finding it enhances self-expression and connection. If your natal Mercury is in Taurus, Virgo, Scorpio, or Pisces, this transit will be more neutral. For those with natal Mercury in Aries, Cancer, or Capricorn, it may require extra effort to compromise and step outside your comfort zone.

Later, at 6:00pm EST, Mercury opposes Neptune, introducing a more dreamy and imaginative influence. This transit can inspire far-reaching ideas, abstract thinking, and creative insights, but it can also blur boundaries and lead to confusion if we’re not careful. Stay grounded while exploring the wilder edges of your imagination, and be mindful of others who may try to drain your energy or offload their problems onto you.

September 19th: Mercury trine Uranus ~ 12:52am EST // Mercury trine Pluto ~ 2:26am EST // Venus enters Virgo ~ 8:39am EST
On Friday, September 19th, the skies bring us several noteworthy shifts. The first arrives just after midnight, at 12:52am EST, as Mercury in Libra trines Uranus. This airy connection sparks fresh perspectives, innovative thinking, and surprising breakthroughs. Expect flashes of inspiration that help break through stagnation, along with conversations that feel playful, quirky, or delightfully outside the norm.

Shortly after, at 2:26am EST, Mercury also trines Pluto, sharpening focus and adding depth to the day. Where Uranus brings novelty, Pluto cuts through to the essence. This aspect encourages boldness, clarity, and emotional honesty, perfect for meaningful conversations or diving into subjects that matter most.

Later in the morning, Venus enters Virgo at 8:39am EST, where it will remain until October 13th. Venus in Virgo highlights attention to detail, making this an excellent time for refined creative work, artistry that relies on precision, and showing care for others through acts of service. It invites us to consider how we can make the lives of loved ones easier in small but significant ways.

Those with natal Venus in Taurus, Cancer, Virgo, Scorpio, or Capricorn will feel especially supported, finding this transit grounding and creatively enriching. For Venus in Aries, Leo, Libra, or Aquarius, the influence is more neutral, while Venus in Gemini, Sagittarius, or Pisces may find Virgo’s exacting nature a bit restrictive. Regardless of placement, this is a time to learn the value of focus, discernment, and bringing vision into form through practical effort.

September 20th: Venus square Uranus ~ 11:41am EST
On Saturday, September 20th, Venus forms a square to Uranus at 11:41am EST, an aspect we’ll feel throughout the day. With Venus newly in Virgo and Uranus adding its unpredictable influence, this mutable square can stir up shake-ups in relationships and creativity. Interactions may feel a bit unsteady or surprising. Someone close to us may act in unexpected ways, or dynamics could suddenly shift.

The key is to loosen control and flow with the energy rather than resisting it. While this transit can feel chaotic, it also opens the door to pleasant surprises if we release rigid expectations. In creative work or group projects, differing visions may clash or a partner may take an unforeseen direction, but these twists can also spark innovation. Stay flexible, and you may discover that the disruption leads to something fresh and exciting.

September 21st: Sun opposite Saturn ~ 1:45am EST  // New Moon in Virgo (Black Moon Solar Eclipse) ~ 3:54pm EST
On Sunday, September 21st, we reach the final day of Virgo season, and it arrives with transformative energy. The day begins with the Sun opposing Saturn at 1:45am EST, a sobering influence that may highlight responsibilities, limitations, or the weight of self-criticism. We may long for more freedom or realize that perfectionism has been holding us back. It is time to notice what can be adjusted or released so that greater ease and movement are possible going forward.

Later, the New Moon in Virgo arrives. This is our second Virgo New Moon of the season, and this one is also a Black Moon Solar Eclipse. Visible in Australia, New Zealand, and the Polynesian Islands, this eclipse brings a powerful closing to eclipse season. It is an intensely transformative portal, inviting deep internal shifts. The eclipse opposes both Saturn and Neptune while forming a grand trine with Uranus and Pluto, a rare configuration that amplifies its global significance. These outer planet connections suggest collective change, breakthroughs, and the potential to harness energy for transformation on a larger scale.

While New Moons are inherently inward-focused, this one feels like lighting a lantern within yourself and then contributing that light to the collective flame. The more you tend to your own passion and center yourself, the more your energy can uplift others. Take time for yourself without guilt—this inner renewal is the first step to offering meaningful support to the wider world without depleting your own reserves.

September 22nd: Mars enters Scorpio ~ 3:54am EST // Sun enters Libra ~ 2:19pm EST
Happy Libra Season! On Monday, September 22nd, the day begins with Mars entering Scorpio at 3:54am EST, where it will remain until November 4th. Mars in Scorpio is intense, exacting, and deeply focused. This placement strengthens our determination, helping us pursue goals with passion and persistence, while also empowering transformation of both mind and body. It fuels intimacy and desire, making it a potent time for deep connections, though it can also bring difficulty with forgiveness and a tendency to hold onto grudges. Transparency is key. Deception is much harder to conceal under this transit.

For those with natal Mars in Cancer, Virgo, Scorpio, Capricorn, or Pisces, this energy will feel especially resonant, bringing vitality and drive. Mars in Aries, Gemini, Libra, or Sagittarius may experience smooth sailing but without a noticeable boost. Meanwhile, Taurus, Leo, and Aquarius placements could feel more fatigued, requiring extra rest and slower, more deliberate action.

Later, at 2:19pm EST, the Sun moves into Libra, officially beginning Libra Season and marking the Autumnal Equinox in the Northern Hemisphere (and the Vernal Equinox in the Southern). The equinox is a sacred moment of balance, when day and night are equal in length. Libra Season, a cardinal air energy, is ideal for engaging with Venusian themes like art, music, design, creativity, and social connection. This season encourages harmony, fairness, and the pursuit of balance, whether in relationships, creative work, or daily life. Enjoy gatherings, lively conversations, and finding common ground rather than stirring conflict.

September 23rd: Sun opposite Neptune ~ 8:53am EST  // Sun trine Uranus ~ 10:55pm EST
On Tuesday, September 23rd, the Sun in Libra opposes Neptune in Aries at 8:53am EST. This transit heightens imagination and opens the door to creative inspiration, allowing abstract ideas and visions to flow more freely. It can feel like slipping on rose-colored glasses and seeing the beauty and potential in people and situations. While this perspective can be uplifting, take care not to overlook red flags or idealize things simply because you want them to be a certain way.

Later in the evening, at 10:55pm EST, the Sun trines Uranus, bringing a fresh wave of spontaneity and excitement. This is an excellent transit for shaking off stagnation, embracing surprises, and embarking on new adventures. The combined energy of the day makes it ideal for a spontaneous outing, trying something outside your usual routine, or simply moving through the world with curiosity and wonder.

September 24th: Sun trine Pluto ~ 2:04am EST // Mars square Pluto ~ 7:51am EST
Wednesday, September 24th carries a distinctly Plutonian tone, bringing depth, intensity, and focus. The day begins with the Sun trining Pluto at 2:04am EST, an empowering influence that lasts well into the day. This transit supports goal-setting, ambition, and personal strength, helping you shed fears and insecurities while stepping boldly into transformation. This is the constructive side of Pluto, the kind that fuels growth, courage, and lasting change.

Later, at 7:51am EST, Mars squares Pluto, a fixed square that has been building for several days and will linger through the week. This is a more volatile energy, one that heightens stubbornness, conflict, and power struggles. Anger and frustration can feel exaggerated, and the impulse to pull the rug out on yourself may be strong. While this can be destructive if left unchecked, it also offers an opportunity to reflect on power dynamics in your life and the world around you. Choose not to feed unhealthy imbalances or destructive impulses and instead direct the intensity into transformation rather than conflict.

With this, we close out the month’s major transits. I’ll be taking a short forecast break until October 1st, though readings are still open for booking. Wishing you a wonderful end to September! May you use the quieter days ahead to rest, reflect, and reset.
