Friday, October 30th - We begin the day with the Gemini moon creating a flurry of activity. There are four moon contacts before noon: moon square Jupiter, moon sextile Uranus, moon square Chiron and moon square Venus. These are all fairly harsh or intense aspects, but the Gemini moon serves to keep them a little lighter than they might be under a more unforgiving sign combination. There is an inability to sit still for many today, particularly in the early part of the day. The mind is very active and frustrations and impatience run rampant. Aries, Virgo, Pisces and Gemini are hit the hardest by this restless feeling. Later this afternoon the moon squares Mars, which can make for conversations where one person is thinking using nothing but logic and the other is only using their emotions. There is a divide here and disagreements or seemingly random outbursts can come up. The Sun trines Neptune this evening at 5:05pm and things begin to shift a little. The evening is much more gentle and allowing, and this Sun/Neptune contact increases imagination, empathy and may bring in new spiritual insights. The moon trines Mercury at 10pm tonight, which will help with communication. Consider revisiting conversations tonight or tomorrow in an effort to get on the same page. The moon is void of course from 10:53pm EST until tomorrow morning.
Saturday, October 31st - Happy Halloween! The moon comes out of its void this morning at 5:10am EST and enters the sign of Cancer. This is a rather interesting sign for the moon to be in on Halloween. It's an ideal day to spend with family, children or in the comfort of your home with others. Costumes may tend toward the nostalgic or figures from the past tonight. The moon squares the North Node this morning, which puts minds on fun and excitement, as opposed to any specific purpose or task. It may be a poor day for accomplishing work of any kind. There is a Grand Trine tonight at about 6pm EST that lasts until later in the evening. This trine is quite beneficial and will unite the moon, Sun and Neptune. Imaginations soar and creative ability is at its peak. There is a lot of psychic energy in the air. Dreams may be particular vivid tonight.
Sunday, November 1st - This morning, the moon opposes Pluto, sextiles Jupiter, squares Uranus and trines Chiron. It is quite an active morning for the Cancer moon. This is a conflicting series of aspects and may make for some confused or confusing behavior. It creates power and leadership struggles, will make some cling to tradition or old ways of thinking/acting, while others will be drawn toward expansion and open-mindedness. There may be some disagreements, as the moon has us all moving in different directions! Chiron's influence will make this a particularly cathartic day, where releasing emotions and indulging in something relaxing can make all the difference. Tonight the moon sextiles Venus and Mars, creating a warm and romantic atmosphere. There is a lot of comfort and closeness that can be brought to relationships of all kinds this evening.
Monday, November 2nd - Mercury enters Scorpio this morning at 2:05am EST. Over the next few weeks, communication will be more emotion based but will also cut to the heart of the matter. There is no use in obscuring things or being dishonest during this time period. Mercury ensures we have all-encompassing focus, and many will use this to pierce through surface talk to see the truth below. The moon is void of course today from 2:07am until 10:48am EST, when it enters Leo. The Leo moon coupled with Mercury in Scorpio may make some dramatic, or at the very least, a bit stubborn. The moon sextiles the North Node and squares Mercury at 11am. It is important to be clear with others today and tell them your expectations. The planetary combination will cause some to read into situations more deeply than necessary if they don't have guidance and honest communication. The moon trines Saturn tonight and Venus moves into conjunction with Mars at 8:09pm EST. This is an excellent combination for completing creative projects or work of any kind. Virgo, Taurus and Capricorn (and those with their moon or Venus in those signs) receive a romance boost for the next few days.
Tuesday, November 3rd - The Leo moon squares the Sun this morning at 6am. Some may find themselves competing for the spotlight. There doesn't seem to be enough attention to go around today, and this extends to all areas of life. The feeling of being ignored or sidestepped will be rampant for many, but particularly Leos and Scorpios. Jupiter opposes Chiron today at 4:57pm EST. If you haven't been taking care of your health, you will be forced to deal with this today. Consider sleeping more, eating healthier or getting active in some way. The most important thing is to listen to your body and give it what it needs more of. The moon trines Uranus tonight, which is a good influence for coming up with new ideas. Brainstorming is supported, as is technological work or dealing with inventions of any sort. The moon is void of course beginning at 8:47pm EST, where it will stay until tomorrow night.
Wednesday, November 4th - We have no major aspects at all today, which is ideal for recovering from any Jupiter/Chiron opposition issues that have come up this week. Jupiter in Virgo aids us in living a more healthy life, and this extends to our emotional, spiritual and mental health as much as the physical. Having a day off from new planetary influences will be useful as a kind of reset button. Look up your own personal transits today and check in to how they may be affecting you. The moon comes out of its void at 9:23pm EST and enters Virgo. The night is good for spending time alone or in the company of someone you can relax with. Consider taking time off from stressful or intense situations and handle them tomorrow with a fresh outlook.
Thursday, November 5th - This morning the moon squares Saturn and sextiles Mercury. Communication is boosted, and this is a particularly good day for teaching or learning any type of subject. The energy will help with sharpening your focus and mind power today. First decanate Sagittarians (first week of Sagittarius) may have an issue with this, and would do better to stay physically active today. The moon opposes Neptune this afternoon, which keeps us more grounded in the physical world. Handle your affairs, pay your bills and deal with things you may not normally have the energy to get done. This will leave more room for inspiration and fun this weekend. Jupiter and Uranus are inconjunct tonight at 5:01pm EST. Skepticism or judgmental behavior could come up. Rather than deal with this in a rational way, disagreements could end in one party simply disappearing without a word. Virgo and Aries are hit by this aspect the hardest. Tonight the Sun sextiles Pluto at 11pm EST. It is a great night for study of mysterious subjects, or those that have yet to be proven. Because of aspect effects that are still lingering, we will have to do our best to open our minds to possibilities. Walking the line between skeptical and receptive will serve to collect the best results in all work and relationship dynamics today.
