Friday, December 25th - Merry Christmas and happy holidays to all! The moon exits its void at 12:26am EST and enters Cancer. The moon opposes the Sun, forming a Full Moon at 5:11am. This Full Moon is all about uniting aspects from our past and incorporating them into our future plans. You may be reunited with old friends and family, or else revisit feelings or events from earlier times. The moon trines Neptune this afternoon, bringing in imagination and compassion for those around us. Mercury and Jupiter are in trine at 3:19pm EST, which will affect the whole day. This will allow easy communication of ideas and will stir up excitement and enthusiasm for future plans. The Full Moon acts as a gateway between past and future, lining up activities for those who are willing to embrace the past and use it as a stepping stone to something new. Uranus comes out of retrograde and resumes direct movement at 10:53pm EST. This particular retrograde started on July 26th of this year. Uranus retrogrades can cause erratic decisions and create an overall feeling of chaos. Things will start to stabilize, though it will take a little bit of time for us to make it out of the shadow period. It is an excellent time to rebuild anything (relationships, business, house, etc) that has been shaky over the past five months.
Saturday, December 26th - The moon opposes Pluto and squares Uranus early this morning, bringing some issues regarding leadership or authority. Others will be much more cooperative today if you can include them in decision making, rather than forcing your own opinions or will on them. Venus and the North Node are in sextile at 6:42am EST, which ignites romantic connections (or perceived connections). Artistic talent is spotlighted today. The moon trines Chiron, sextiles Jupiter, opposes Mercury, sextiles the North Node, squares Mars and trines Venus all before moving void of course at 10:36pm EST. This is an extremely busy day for the Cancer moon. The afternoon may be a bit of a whirlwind of emotions, particularly for Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces. Communication is difficult today unless you approach things from the heart. Logic will not win out this afternoon. Healing is encouraged in all its many forms. Things quiet down considerably after the void period begins tonight.
Sunday, December 27th - We exit the void at 5:31am EST as the moon enters Leo. Today is a much quieter day in the cosmos, allowing for things to feel a bit simpler. Mercury and the North Node are in trine at 11:31am EST, which helps communication tremendously. If topics were difficult to breach yesterday, try again today. The energy is creative and responsive, making it an excellent day to work on projects or gather support for ideas.
Monday, December 28th - The moon trines Saturn shortly after midnight. This is an excellent time to complete tasks that have been queuing up for days or weeks. Saturn brings focus and dedication and Leo allows for personal flair and enthusiasm. On days like today when the moon is in Leo, it may be difficult to work with those who do not show appreciation. Consider working alone or with supportive individuals. The moon trines Uranus this afternoon, sparking new ideas and exciting plans. Technology is supported today.
Tuesday, December 29th - The Sun sextiles Neptune at 8:17am EST, a dreamy aspect that is excellent for empathy and intuition. Capricorn and Pisces reach an almost clairvoyant level today. Artistry and aesthetics are boosted for all. Consider redecorating or buying a new piece of clothing. The moon sextiles Mars today, which provides physical energy and emotional strength. Mercury and Mars are in square this morning and afternoon, which could create some communication issues. Some could become very frustrated and give up on getting their message across. Others may take out their anger by exercising or getting out of the house. The moon/Venus square could create spats in partnerships of any kind. Be sure to get your energy out in a conductive way before reacting to others. The moon is void for a short while this afternoon (12:38pm until 1:58pm EST), and then enters Virgo. The rest of the day has a cooler, quieter feeling and is best spent resting or doing something that requires less intensity and focus.
Wednesday, December 30th - Venus enters Sagittarius at 2:16am EST. This brings a fun and enthusiastic energy to partnerships. It is an excellent few weeks to plan for new adventures or out of town excursions with a partner, friend or family member. Ideas flow and bring in curiosity and a need to understand different viewpoints. Get on the same page with someone over the next few weeks. The moon opposes Neptune and trines the Sun this morning. Things feel very realistic and possible today. Some may move closer to understanding what their next step will be. The moon squares Saturn and trines Pluto tonight, which heightens intuition and dreamwork. It is an excellent night for spiritual practice, ritual or meditation.
Thursday, December 31st - On the last day of the year, the moon opposes Chiron early in the morning, which can create the need to take action. Some may be spurred forward without a clear idea of where they are headed. The moon conjuncts Jupiter and the North Node this afternoon, which are the final aspects of this calendar year. These are quite lucky and karmic transits that connect us with others and bring in the possibility of financial gain (mainly for Virgo or those with Midheaven in Virgo). Utilize the Mercurial energy of Virgo tonight to visualize your coming year and share your thoughts with a trusted companion. Celebrations may be quite unexpected or unusual in some way, but festive nonetheless.
