Friday, April 29th - We begin the day with the Capricorn moon squaring Venus shortly after 3am and promptly moving void of course. The void period will only last for an hour and a half or so, and will emerge at 4:47am EST and enter Aquarius. Responsibilities and things to remember could pile up in the early part of the day. It is easy to get overwhelmed. The Aquarian moon puts an emphasis on splitting up responsibilities with those in our group of friends, family or community. Stress will lift when you are able to express to others what it is you need.
The moon sextiles Mars tonight, providing a boost of energy at 6pm EST. It's a good night for activity - either going out on the town or keeping things moving while at home.
Venus enters Taurus tonight at 8:35pm EST. Venus is very much at home in one of the signs it rules over. When a planet is in its domicile like this, the affairs it rules over tend to move much more smoothly. The next few weeks see an increase in romance and creativity. Taurus, Libra, Capricorn and Virgo receive a boost in personal relationships over the next month. This is an excellent time to be outside, as this combination tends to bring inspiration through the natural landscape around us.
Saturday, April 30th - The morning brings a couple lunar aspects as the moon squares the Sun and sextiles Saturn. The feeling of being rushed lingers on, and it may feel as if your daily tasks are stacking up too high. A lot of this comes from an internal pressure being activated by the planetary retrogrades, and on days when the moon creates hard aspects we tend to feel it more.
Tonight, the moon sextiles Uranus and will square Mercury. Mercury retrograde rears its head tonight, so be careful to not misread situations and make decisions based on improper judgment. It is better to mull things over rather than to react based on a fleeting emotion.
The moon moves void of course at 10:56pm EST.
Sunday, May 1st - This morning, the Sun sextiles Neptune at 7:59am EST. This is a very spiritual aspect, and helps us bring in inspiration on all levels. Guidance comes in unusual and unexpected ways. We may see a number of 'coincidences' and synchronicities over the next few days. This transit is deeply creative on a level that connects us with the collective unconscious. While working or creating anything, it will be easy to reach a meditative state and produce profound work with very little effort and thought.
The moon sextiles Venus this afternoon. It's a good day to be outdoors and breathe in some fresh air. Partnerships are especially important today, so surround yourself with those who make you feel supported.
Tonight, the moon squares Mars which will send many to bed early. Physical energy drops off pretty quickly as the night carries on. It is best to listen to your body and rest if you are feeling the effects of this transit.
Monday, May 2nd - Today is a busy day for the Pisces moon. We have a moon/Neptune conjunction, a moon/Sun sextile and a moon/Jupiter opposition in the morning. This energy is a bit conflicting and makes us a bit prone to escapism or daydreaming. It may be hard to shift into a gear that involves getting work done or thinking in a logical, linear way. This is pretty much the theme for the whole day, so if you can slow your pace down a bit you will likely have better luck accomplishing things. Allow yourself some time to space out and then return to the work at hand.
This afternoon, the moon squares Saturn and sextiles Pluto. Intuition is especially strong today. Pluto provides a good basis for being able to see into other's true feelings and intentions.
Tonight, the moon opposes the North Node. Don't hold on too tightly to how you imagined the day, or even this point in your life right now, to be. Try to think about things from a less biased perspective. Talk to someone whose views you admire and trust, if it helps.
Tuesday, May 3rd - The moon sextiles Mercury before moving void of course at 1:08am EST. The morning is quite buoyant and cheerful. A Sun/Jupiter trine brings in a new wave of enthusiasm for possibilities and options that are showing up on the horizon. It's a great day to begin thinking about travel destinations for the summer or any other time this year. We always hear to not plan things out too far during Mercury retrograde, but as long as you don't lock in anything too tightly you should be okay today.
The moon is conjunct Chiron this morning, which is great for relieving some health issues or worries. This month is a great time to try something natural such as homeopathy or herbal remedies. While the Sun is in earthy Taurus we are able to connect to plants and nature around us that much easier.
The moon comes out of its void at 1:04pm EST and enters Aries. The start of a fresh lunar cycle always helps to refresh the energy. We are building up to the New Moon on Friday, so start cleaning out your closet or getting rid of possessions you no longer need. A Taurean New Moon is a perfect time to get your house feeling airy and bright.
Wednesday, May 4th - This morning, the moon trines Mars. This provides a quick jolt of energy that will have some (mainly Aries, Leo and Sagittarius) jumping out of bed and ready to go. The afternoon is good for accomplishing work, as a moon/Saturn trine helps us slow down and complete our tasks with a keen eye for detail.
Once 5pm EST hits, forget trying to get too much done. The moon squares Pluto, which can arouse suspicions in the workplace (and maybe at home too). The Aries moon ensures that these things will not fly by quietly under the radar and instead will be confronted. As much as these issues may be magnified tonight, it will be difficult to ignore them. Retreating could be misread as not caring enough about the situation at hand, and could have certain consequences. The best way to handle this is to hear the other person's point of view and provide yours in a logical, calm way.
The moon is conjunct Uranus later tonight, which is ideal for brainstorming new and exciting ideas. Some people will burn the midnight oil in a creative whirlwind under this transit.
Thursday, May 5th - The moon moves void of course at 12:17am EST, where it will stay until 1:10pm EST as it enters the sign of Taurus. We have NO other aspects today at all. This is a great thing, since the New Moon is tomorrow. It's an excellent day to take a moment to tune into your own energy, transits and see what it is you are hoping to release from your life.
It's an excellent day for being outdoors and connecting with nature and animals. Music is highlighted today and it is a great time for song and dance of any kind.
