Monday, October 31st ~ Halloween blessings! We have reached the day where the veil between worlds is the thinnest. To begin, the Capricorn moon moves into conjunction with Pluto at 5:22am EST. This enhances focus and our ability to see beneath the surface of situations. It can lend itself way to enhanced psychic perceptions. The moon sextiles Jupiter at 11:14am EST, a pleasant transit which increases sense of humor and joyful attitudes. Next, the moon is void of course for a brief period from 11:15am until 11:42am EST when it moves into Aquarius. This encourages objective thinking and allows us to view problems from a bird's eye lens. The moon squares Mercury at 5:36pm EST to close out the day's transits. This is a somewhat tense transit which can create mental frustrations if we can't solve a problem. It is best to take a step back and revisit it later rather than forcing things to fall into place. Have fun and be safe as the air turns cool and dark tonight.
Tuesday, November 1st ~ Happy November. We have the moon in electric Aquarius all day, increasing our desire to move to our own rhythm and to not follow trends. The moon enters its First Quarter phase at 2:37am EST, squaring the Sun and serving as a catalyst to get us moving toward a goal or initiation of the next shift in our lives. Today's astrology is quite prickly and is better for independent work rather than teaming up with others or being social. The moon squares Venus at 7:04am and sextiles Chiron at 9:49am EST. You will likely see people stirring the pot today and group harmony may be hard to come by. Healing comes through being more compassionate and charitable on a large scale, rather than focusing on individuals. It's a good day to volunteer or donate to your favorite charity. The moon squares both of its Nodes at 10:24am EST, locking us in place between the past and future. We could feel frozen, like we're not sure what comes next. This could be exciting or frustrating, depending on your perspective. Later on the moon squares Uranus at 4:53pm and conjuncts Saturn at 7:22pm EST. Many will behave unpredictably around this time; it is best to focus in on your own energy and not get too tangled up in what is going on in your periphery.
Wednesday, November 2nd ~ The day begins with the Aquarius moon trining Mars at 7:08am EST, amping up energy. We could feel more excited to take on the day and find ourselves leaning idealistic in the way we think about the future of the world. The moon is void of course from 7:09am until it enters Pisces at 2:46pm EST. This is a very daydream-centered void period that feels pleasant. Many ideas come through during this time; it could be helpful to take notes on what arises if you are able to do so. Once the moon is in Pisces, the dreamy energy continues but in a soft, gentle way. We might notice ourselves feeling more tender and sensitive. Venus moves into a conjunction with the South Node of the moon at 8:34pm EST, something that is building all day long. This is the first of three South Node conjunctions happening this week. The South Node represents the past in all its many facets: our own memories and what came before in this life, our past lives and spiritual history, and our ancestors and lineage in this world. With Venus on this point we are likely to feel drawn to those we have a deep history with. We recognize souls with this shared history and may even remember past lives shared with people we know and interact with. Our own romantic past may be on our minds today, either as a guideline for growth and evolvement or perhaps as a means of simple nostalgia.
Thursday, November 3rd ~ We have the moon in soft, dreamy Pisces all day, enhancing empathy and compassion. It trines Mercury at 3:43am EST which allows for ease in communication, almost at a telepathic level. The moon enters its Waxing Gibbous phase at 10:00am EST, gradually increasing in light as we move toward next week's Full Moon in Taurus. Optimism expands and excitement begins to build. The moon sextiles the North Node at 1:58pm and trines Venus at 3:42pm EST. These are positive transits which encourage rapport between strangers and friends alike. Finally, the moon sextiles Uranus at 8:28pm EST to close out the day's transits. We can view emotions and personal issues in a new light, and might even feel excited to work through them. Overall, today's astrology is remarkably easeful. Of course, our own personal transits add color to the way we experience each day, but generally speaking it could turn out to be a very positive day.
Friday, November 4th ~ The day begins with the Pisces moon moving into conjunction with Neptune at 6:33am EST. This is an imaginative transit which allows us to look at life through rose-colored glasses. We could dwell in fantasy and enjoy escaping into other worlds through books, movies, games, etc. The moon squares Mars at 11:02am and sextiles Pluto at 12:33pm EST. While many ideas form inside our minds today, it might not be easy to get moving or get a lot of work done quickly. It can be helpful to sit and think about what we're going to do before doing it. Finally, the moon conjuncts Jupiter at 6:05pm EST and then moves void of course for about an hour. We feel everything in a big way. It could seem like our hearts are expanding and increasing our capacity to love. This could be very joyful or maybe a little unpleasant if you aren't used to being vulnerable. The moon's void ends with it shifting into Aries at 7:06pm EST. This flips the switch and suddenly we are not focusing too much on the emotions and are instead more interested in jumping to action and being more impulsive. We move from the element of water to fire and things begin to heat up as a result.
Saturday, November 5th ~ The moon is in pioneering Aries all day, encouraging self-discovery and acting without too much deliberation. We have no planetary transits until 4:25pm EST when the Sun moves into conjunction with the South Node of the moon. This is the second South Node transit of the week out of three. We connect to the past today and are reminded of who we once were. People or events from long ago could resurface, or else we may feel those times of long past weighing on our minds. Nostalgia is potent today. It might be enjoyable to connect to the past through reading or watching something about history, going antiquing or vintage shopping, or looking at old photo albums. The moon conjuncts Chiron at 6:08pm EST; healing comes through facing the past and not being afraid to remember. Finally, the day ends with Venus opposing Uranus at 6:21pm EST. Surprises come in relationships; it is not the most predictable day when it comes to romance or close friendships. Break out of routine by doing something you normally would not; go out on the town with a loved one or try something new together.
Sunday, November 6th ~ We have the moon in fiery Aries all day, increasing impulsiveness and the desire to leap before looking. The moon sextiles Saturn at 3:43am EST which enhances ambition and our drive to accomplish. Later, the moon sextiles Mars at 3:29pm EST. Energy levels are high and we feel motivated to dive right into a project. The third and final South Node contact of the week occurs at 5:20pm EST as Mercury moves into conjunction with the South Node of the moon. The subconscious is especially active today, with memories from long ago moving through our minds like colorful clouds. It can be helpful to meditate or even do a guided past life meditation, as much can come to the surface on this day. The moon squares Pluto at 5:29pm EST and then moves void of course until tomorrow. Take the evening to burn off some energy through exercise or going for a nice walk, and then rest up. It can be helpful to fully indulge these thoughts of the past; they are unlikely to go away without being focused on first.
