Monday, November 28th ~ We have the moon in bright, community building Aquarius all day, making this the ideal time to connect with others and organize group events or projects. The moon enters its Waxing Crescent phase at 3:05am EST and we are officially out of the Dark Moon period. This brings in more optimism and we begin to get ready for shifts and changes. Mars trines Saturn today at 12:55pm EST, a transit we have been noticing building up all weekend and which we will continue to feel through midweek. This is the second time we've had this transit in a couple months due to Mars' retrograde. This brings up an important opportunity to finish a project that we left incomplete, especially those things that we collaborated on with others or perhaps dreamed up with another person. The moon sextiles Chiron at 1:17pm and squares both its Nodes at 2:54pm EST. This brings healing as we look at the big picture. The moon sextiles Venus at 7:39pm, squares Uranus at 7:48pm and sextiles Mercury at 11:25pm EST. This busy lunar day introduces more opportunity to think outside the box and brainstorm solutions with other people.
Tuesday, November 29th ~ We start the day with the futuristic Aquarius Moon trining retrograde Mars at 1:30am EST and then moving into conjunction with Saturn at 1:53am EST. This can be useful for dealing with technology and focusing on tasks that are logical or scientific. The moon is void of course for the majority of the day, from 1:54am EST for over seventeen hours. This slows down outward activity; interruptions could be especially annoying. During this void interim, we have Mercury opposing Mars at 3:30pm EST, a somewhat prickly transit that can make many mentally frustrated. People could be harsher and more blunt. As the transits for the day are lacking in much emotional sympathy, this could be difficult for those who are more sensitive. Come into the day with awareness and try to take those who complain with a grain of salt. The void period ends at 7:15pm EST as the moon moves into Pisces. This introduces more empathy into the mix. Finally, Mercury sextiles Saturn at 11:17pm EST. The combination of this transit with the Mercury/Mars opposition brings along a little more discernment when it comes to communication. This can help with biting the tongue and thinking things over before leaping to a more volatile conclusion. Overall this day is supportive of studying, research, and anything to do with tech or computers.
Wednesday, November 30th ~ The moon is in dreamlike Pisces all day, casting a romantic energy over the day. We gain more light as the moon enters its First Quarter phase at 9:36am EST, drawing our attention to things we have yet to accomplish. This may increase motivation or tension, depending on how you are looking at things. The moon sextiles its North Node later on at 5:56pm and sextiles Uranus at 10:57pm EST. These transits encourage the development of intuition and trusting one's feelings and impressions. Pay attention to your dreams tonight if you can, or of any emotions that are present when you wake up tomorrow morning.
Thursday, December 1st ~ Today is an extremely active celestial day as we welcome in the month of December. We begin with Venus and Mars in opposition to one another at 12:27am EST, a transit we notice all day long. This can make it quite challenging to see eye to eye with others; disagreements and frustrations mount. If you are noticing any tension with others it will be more helpful to take a step back today, as pushing for a peaceful solution will likely backfire. The moon squares Mars and Venus as well at 3:42am and 4:07am EST respectively, adding emotional conflict to the mix. Later things look up somewhat. The moon conjuncts Neptune in Pisces at 10:35am EST; the Pisces moon gets lost in imagination and visualizing our ideal scenario. The moon later sextiles Pluto at 5:58pm EST which allows for keen insights and near psychic levels of perception. Next we have Mercury squaring Neptune at 8:08pm EST, another day long transit. This one causes mental fog and confusion and can make us more likely to make decisions based on our feelings rather than through logic. This coupled with the Venus/Mars opp can make for an explosive combo of saying or doing things we may later regret. Be gentle with self and others today or take time for yourself. The moon conjuncts Jupiter at 9:44pm EST and then moves void of course for about two hours. This allows for more expansive feelings and optimism. We're still not done with transits today, however! Next up, Venus and Saturn meet in sextile at 10:09pm EST, something that has been building all day. This transit allows for commitment in relationships and encourages us to take responsibility for our feelings. It can be very helpful in navigating the intense aspects as it offers up restraint and discipline when it comes to how we interact with others. Finally, the moon's void period ends at 11:40pm EST as it ingresses Aries. Tomorrow is a much simpler astrological day and we begin to feel this energy entering in as soon as the moon goes into Aries.
Friday, December 2nd ~ It's a quiet day in the skies with the moon in Aries all day long. We tend to enjoy active pursuits when the moon is in this sign, and may feel more energetic and impulsive as a result. The moon enters its Waxing Gibbous phase at 7:09pm EST, building up to next week's Full Moon in Gemini. This moon phase introduces a sense of excitement and anticipation throughout the weekend. Spirits are generally high today and tomorrow. The moon conjuncts Chiron tonight at 9:35pm EST which allows for physical healing. Move your body, stretch, eat well, and check in to see what small thing you can do tonight to care for yourself.
Saturday, December 3rd ~ It's another full day with the moon in pioneering Aries, increasing restlessness and our desire for independence. The moon sextiles Mars at 8:11am and later sextiles Saturn at 12:05pm EST; these transits allow for increased focus and more physical energy. The moon trines Venus at 3:56pm EST, a creative aspect which allows for more self expression and artistic boldness. Neptune stations direct today at 7:15pm EST. Neptune has been retrograde since June 28th in the sign of Pisces, and during the past several months we may have felt a sense of confusion around where we are headed. This slowed some people down, or else made them have to rely more on their own internal compass and intuition to navigate the world. As Neptune resumes direct motion, we may find more clarity and begin to develop a sharper plan for what comes next. Finally, the moon trines Mercury at 10:53pm EST, bringing in fresh ideas and insight. Many will be more talkative tonight as a result.
Sunday, December 4th ~ We begin this day with the Aries moon in square to Pluto at 12:46am EST and then moving void of course for about six hours. There is a deep need to overcome a challenge today. You may enjoy coming up with solutions to problems, or else feel the desire to prove yourself and your capabilities. Venus squares Neptune at 2:12am EST, a potent transit which is quite romantic and tender but also a bit detached from reality. We can use this aspect to our advantage by leaning into dreamy projects that involve creativity and artistry, but we should be careful not to let it impact our relationships. The tendency here is to merge with others in unhealthy ways or to make excuses for toxic behavior. This transit is much more enjoyable when it can be channeled into creative endeavors. The Sun trines Chiron at the exact same moment that Venus squares Neptune; this combo of planetary interactions is potent and wild. This is quite an intense day that can bring about many revelations and healing through being true to oneself. The more you can follow this idea rather than trying to shrink yourself to appease others, the better today will be. Finally, the moon's void period ends at 6:37am EST as it moves into Taurus. The moon is happy in this sign and brings about a steady energy that encourages us to enjoy life and all it has to offer. It's a beautiful day to get outside or connect to nature in whatever way we are able to.
