Weekly Forecast: 6/19/23 through 6/25/23

Monday, June 19th ~ The moon is in dreamy, nostalgic Cancer all day, connecting us to our intuition and emotions. We have one of the biggest transits of the month occurring today at 11:53am EST as Jupiter and Saturn meet in sextile. This has been building for the past week and we will continue to feel it over the next one as well. The combination of Jupiter and Saturn blends optimism with equal parts caution. We look before we leap, but we are still inspired to leap! This tends to lead to well thought out expansion in our lives, and allows us to formulate a plan that brings excitement and change. We may also feel inspired to learn new things and can even feel freedom from increased levels of commitment. This is a powerful transit that will be quite palpable today. The moon later squares Chiron at 9:08pm EST which can leave us feeling emotionally vulnerable. Don't be afraid to bare your heart, or hide away until another day. There are no wrong answers.

Tuesday, June 20th ~ Today begins with the Cancer moon sextiling Uranus at 12:33am EST. We feel the strength of the moon in its home sign, and the influence from Uranus brings curiosity and objectivity to emotional issues. The moon later trines Neptune at 1:23pm EST, enhancing imagination and our ability to empathize with others. The moon then opposes Pluto at 5:43pm EST which can intensify our need to control a situation or have power over it. The moon is void of course for twenty minutes, from 5:44pm until 6:04pm EST when it enters Leo. The Leo moon is showy and generous, and lives to give and receive love. It then goes on to square its Nodes at 10:37pm EST to close out the day. This can leave us feeling somewhat stagnant, like we have outgrown the past but aren't quite ready for the future. This feeling will likely dissipate overnight. This is the last full day with the Sun in Gemini, giving us a hunger for knowledge and information.

Wednesday, June 21st ~ Happy Solstice and Cancer Season! The moon is in Leo all day, providing us with a sunshiney energy and need to express our true self to the world at large. The moon squares Jupiter at 9:14am EST which can make our emotions big and extreme. The Sun moves into Cancer at 10:57am EST and we are officially in Cancer season. This Solstice is powerful and magical, with the Northern hemisphere experiencing the longest day of the year and the Southern the shortest. This provides a gateway to explore all the bounties life has to offer. This is a high time of celebration and joy. Cancer is the sign of cardinal water, and signifies emotional initiation. Mercury sextiles Mars today also, perfecting at 11:22am EST, which energizes our minds and intensifies our passions when it comes to learning or committing things to memory. The moon conjuncts Venus at 11:08pm EST, bringing love and closeness into the fold. We will likely want to express our affection for someone we care about, and seek out ways to spin our emotions into art. Much of the day centers around seeing the beauty in the world around us.

Thursday, June 22nd ~ The moon is in Leo for a second full day; we seek a way to bring a creative flair to our appearances and demeanor today. The moon conjuncts Mars at 8:41am EST which amps up energy and willpower. The moon trines Chiron at 9:25am and sextiles Mercury at 11:51am EST. An outpouring of honesty brings relief and understanding. The moon squares Uranus at 1:00pm EST and then moves void of course until tomorrow. We could have some fluctuations in mood and many will express this in a dramatic fashion. Mars trines Chiron at 11:52pm EST. We have felt this transit growing in strength for the last few days and will notice it throughout the weekend. This brings an opportunity for healing physical pain, or at least understanding it on a deeper level. We may also overcome insecurities around being our authentic self. Those with illnesses or chronic pain could experience revelations around their conditions or come to see them in a new way. The lengthy void period today gives us a good opportunity for rest, healing, and recovery.

Friday, June 23rd ~ The moon is void of course until 6:35am EST, when it enters Virgo. Virgo moon days are good for fixing things and seeking ways to incorporate small improvements to make a huge difference. We may be more fastidious and exacting. The moon enters its Waxing Crescent phase at 10:24am EST, introducing more excitement as we enter a stage of planning and building. The moon trines its North Node at 10:32am and later on the Sun sextiles the North Node at 11:55am EST, which intensifies our focus and brings anticipation for the future. We are more ready to take a risk to get us closer to something we've been wanting. The moon opposes Saturn at 9:07pm and trines Jupiter at 10:53pm EST. A plan begins to formulate out of the fog of a period of confusion or uncertainty. We seek out action and could resent any interruptions to the flow.

Saturday, June 24th ~ Today is a very rare and unusual day, only happening once or twice a year typically. We have absolutely NO major transits today! The moon is in earthy, steady Virgo all day, which suggests we could enjoy time in nature or grounding into a simple routine. On these days with no transits, we are able to feel our own natal chart and personal transits with much more ease. It's a good day to study your own unique astrology and really sense the energy of it within you. Enjoy this day free from collective cosmic influences!

Sunday, June 25th ~ Today kicks off with the Virgo moon trining Uranus at 1:52am EST, bringing in a mad scientist energy. The intellectual side of Virgo combines with the genius of Uranus to bring a flash of sudden insight. The moon squares Mercury at 1:25pm and opposes Neptune at 2:20pm EST. While a lot is happening under the surface today, we may not be able to logically explain or communicate it to others. The moon trines Pluto at 6:24pm EST and then moves void of course for about a half an hour. This transit brings courage and helps to steel us against fear and confusion. Mercury squares Neptune at 6:35pm EST, which definitely adds to the energy of not being able to speak what's on our minds. We may try to explain but end up being misunderstood, or else we're not satisfied with the way we convey something. This transit also makes us more likely to buy into illusions and see them as truth. Keep this in mind and don't commit fully to any idea or decision until tomorrow. The moon's void ends at 6:57pm EST as it moves into Libra. This is a more social moon that creates a need for comraderie and friendship.
