April Cosmic Calendar

*April 1st: Venus conjunct North Node ~ 4:38am EST ~ 27 degrees Pisces (Tuesday)
On Tuesday, April 1st, Venus retrogrades back into a conjunction with the North Node of the Moon at 4:38am EST. This transit can be felt throughout the whole day. The conjunction occurs at 27 degrees Pisces and is particularly potent with Mercury just outside of it. It’s a powerful time for relationships, especially when working together with others to create lasting change. Pay attention to the people you encounter today or those who are strongly on your mind. We may feel drawn to those whose energy aligns with ours, or those with whom we can collaborate to create the shifts needed both individually and collectively.

With Venus in Pisces, this energy can feel like a blending of forces that pulls you toward others. Boundaries may dissolve, so it’s important to be around people who make this feel safe and inviting, rather than overwhelming or stifling. Given that Venus is in retrograde, themes of old friends or people from the past may resurface, especially if we are open to reconnecting with them.

*April 4th: Saturn sextile Uranus ~  12:21pm EST ~ 24 degrees Pisces / Taurus // Mars sextile Uranus ~ 7:04pm EST ~ 24 degrees Cancer / Taurus // Mars trine Saturn ~ 9:08pm EST ~ 24 degrees Cancer / Pisces (Friday)
On Friday, April 4th, a Minor Talent Triangle forms in the sky, involving a trine between Mars and Saturn, with each planet sextiling Uranus, creating a small triangle. This energy builds gradually, with the Saturn/Uranus sextile starting to be felt as early as two weeks ago and continuing through mid-April. The sextile perfects at 12:21pm EST, followed by Mars sextiling Uranus at 7:04pm and trining Saturn at 9:08pm EST, adding a surge of energy during the evening window.

The Saturn/Uranus sextile is one of the major transits of 2025, as it will occur again in August and once more in January 2026. This transit is excellent for planning and infusing originality and fresh ideas into established businesses or group projects. We can combine the productivity and dedication of Saturn with the innovative and unique energy of Uranus. Mars joins in today, bringing even more passion and energy to help us make progress and create lasting change.

This is a fantastic day for business meetings, starting new projects, and tackling tasks with enthusiasm and drive. It’s a positive transit that brings vibrant energy into April, with today being the peak of its influence, offering a burst of optimism and forward momentum. Those with significant placements in Taurus and Cancer will feel the biggest boost today.

*April 7th: Mercury Rx ends ~ 7:07am EST ~ 26 degrees Pisces (Monday)
On Monday, April 7th, Mercury retrograde ends at 7:07am EST. Mercury is currently stationed at 26 degrees Pisces, having retrograded back into this sign from Aries. While the end of Mercury Rx brings some relief, offering us more clarity, fewer communication and technology issues, and less confusion overall, we may still experience some lingering effects until April 26th. This is when Mercury will fully exit its retrograde shadow, meaning it will move past the point in the sky where it originally stationed retrograde. While things should generally move more smoothly from here on, over the next 2.5 weeks, we may find ourselves tying up loose ends, working on old projects, and clearing out outdated elements in our lives.

*April 8th: Venus sextile Uranus ~ 12:47am EST ~ 25 degrees Pisces / Taurus (Tuesday)
On Tuesday, April 8th, Venus sextiles Uranus at 12:47am EST, a transit we’ll feel throughout the day. Venus, retrograde at 25 degrees Pisces, forms a harmonious sextile with Uranus, which is at 25 degrees Taurus. This is a pleasant aspect, bringing fresh energy and new possibilities to our relationships. We may experience some surprises in these connections, and for those who are single, this could be a chance to meet new friends or even a romantic partner. We might also feel inspired to break free from our routines, seeking new experiences with those we're close to. Additionally, this transit can spark fresh ideas for our creative outlets, and some may be motivated to refresh their image or personal style.

*April 10th: Mercury conjunct North Node ~ 9:00pm EST ~ 27 degrees Pisces (Thursday)
On Thursday, April 10th, Mercury forms a conjunction with the North Node at 9:00pm EST, at 27 degrees Pisces. This marks the second of these conjunctions in the past week, with the first occurring on April 4th. Now that Mercury is direct, it's resuming forward motion and will repeat some of the transits it made while retrograde. This conjunction is quick and powerful, sparking new ideas and pathways in the mind. We may experience sudden inspiration or feel compelled to reach out to someone or share our thoughts. You might feel the urge to write things down or express your ideas in some way. This transit influences all of Thursday, enhancing communication on important matters and helping people connect over shared interests and beliefs.

*April 11th: Mars trine North Node ~ 10:26am EST ~ 27 degrees Cancer / Pisces (Friday)
On Friday, April 11th, Mars forms a trine with the North Node of the Moon at 10:26am EST. This transit has been building over the past few days and will be felt throughout the weekend. Mars, currently at 27 degrees Cancer, forms a harmonious trine with the North Node at 27 degrees Pisces. This aspect can align us with a strong desire to accomplish things and take inspired action. Since the North Node governs our destiny, dreams, and karma, and Mars rules over action and physical momentum, this transit may urge us to leap forward, even if we're unsure of the exact steps needed to reach our goals. Pay attention to what you're drawn to today, and make sure to stretch and move your body to stay limber and ready for whatever comes next.

*April 12th: Full Moon in Libra ~ 8:22pm EST ~ 23 degrees Libra (Saturday)
On Saturday, April 12th, the Full Moon in Libra peaks at 8:22pm EST. The Sun is at 23 degrees Aries, with the Moon opposite at 23 degrees Libra. This is our first full moon since last month's eclipse season. The Full Moon in Libra is an excellent time for manifesting change in areas such as relationships, romance, teamwork, and friendship. While Aries season is all about independence and pursuing personal desires, the Libra Full Moon brings a focus on community and partnership. Saturday will feel like a more social day, inviting us to spend time with friends, go on a date, or reflect on what we want to manifest in these areas. With the Sun conjunct Chiron, there may also be themes of stepping out of our comfort zones, building confidence, and releasing insecurities.

*[April 13th] April 12th: Venus Rx ends ~ 9:02pm EST ~ 24 degrees Pisces (posted Sunday)
Yesterday, Saturday, April 12th at 9:02pm EST, Venus retrograde officially came to an end at 24 degrees Pisces. The retrograde began on March 1st, with Venus stationed at 10 degrees Aries.

This retrograde unfolded in two distinct phases. While in Aries, we may have felt a strong pull toward independence - seeking freedom from our past or reacting impulsively in matters involving former friends, lovers, or creative endeavors. Once Venus moved back into Pisces, the energy shifted. There was a dreamy, nostalgic quality that emerged, bringing with it a tendency to romanticize the past or view situations through rose-colored glasses. For some, this may have surfaced as romantic delusion or confusion.

Venus will remain in the shadow phase of this retrograde until May 16th, when it returns to the point it occupied at the start of March. During this time, we may continue to process unresolved dynamics from past relationships or revisit older artistic projects with fresh eyes. However, the focus is now on integration. We are learning from these experiences and using them to move forward, rather than staying stuck in old emotional patterns as a form of escape.

*April 16th: Mercury enters Aries ~ 2:25am EST (Wednesday)
On Wednesday, April 16th at 2:25am EST, Mercury re-enters Aries. Prior to its retrograde, Mercury had already moved into Aries, but during the retrograde phase, it slipped back into Pisces. With this ingress, Mercury begins a brand-new journey through the zodiac.

Mercury in Aries is bold, fast-paced, and direct. It can spark impatience and a desire to speak our minds immediately. Thoughts come in quickly, and there’s a strong urge to share ideas without much filtering. While this can bring refreshing honesty and mental excitement, it can also lead to impulsive speech, so be careful you are not wielding words as weapons undeservedly.

Mercury will remain in Aries until May 10th. This transit offers the most mental clarity and communication support to those with natal Mercury in Aries, Gemini, Leo, Sagittarius, or Aquarius. Expect a noticeable boost in thinking, speaking, and learning.

For those with natal Mercury in Taurus, Scorpio, or Pisces, this period is more neutral, neither especially challenging nor particularly stimulating. However, individuals with Mercury in Cancer, Libra, or Capricorn may find this energy more difficult to navigate. The fast, confrontational tone of Mercury in Aries can feel overwhelming, potentially leading to frustration, rushed decisions, or a need to address conflicts head-on, which is something these signs often prefer to avoid.

*April 17th: Mercury conjunct Neptune ~ 12:10am EST ~ 0 degrees Aries (Thursday)
On Thursday, April 17th at 12:10am EST, Mercury and Neptune form a conjunction at 0 degrees Aries. With Neptune freshly arrived in Aries and Mercury having just entered the sign the day before, this transit sets a vivid tone for the day.

This alignment can bring in flashes of insight, gut instincts, and intuitive downloads that seem to strike like lightning. Thoughts come quickly and feel charged with purpose, prompting us to speak out, share ideas, or take immediate action. There’s a strong sense of inspiration in the air. This brings an urge to connect with others and express what’s stirring within us.

You may find yourself in conversations that feel deeply meaningful or unexpectedly illuminating. These exchanges might shift your perspective, awaken new motivations, or spark clarity where there was once confusion. Whether these talks are uplifting or more negative in tone, the insights that emerge have the potential to catalyze real change.

*April 18th: Mars enters Leo ~ 12:20am EST (Friday)
On Friday, April 18th at 12:20am EST, Mars enters Leo, marking a significant shift in the cosmic landscape. Mars has been in Cancer since January 6th, a lengthy stay due to its retrograde, which pulled it back from bold Leo into the more cautious terrain of Cancer. In Cancer, where Mars is considered in its fall, its usual fiery, assertive energy has been somewhat muted, expressing itself in roundabout or protective ways rather than direct confrontation.

Now, as Mars moves into Leo, where it will remain until June 17th, we can expect a rise in energy, confidence, and drive. Mars in Leo is dramatic, expressive, and deeply motivated by pride, passion, and purpose. There's a renewed desire to take the lead, to stand out, and to act with courage and flair. This placement encourages bold self-expression, creative action, and a strong sense of personal integrity.

We may feel more compelled to fight for what we believe in, support the underdog, or defend those we love with fierce loyalty. Expect more visible displays of activism, social justice movements, and public celebrations of individuality and diversity during this time.

Those with natal Mars in Aries, Gemini, Leo, Libra, or Sagittarius will likely feel supercharged over the next two months and will be motivated, inspired, and ready to take action. For those with Mars in Cancer, Virgo, or Capricorn, this period will likely feel more balanced, offering moments of both rest and momentum. However, individuals with natal Mars in Taurus, Scorpio, or Aquarius may find the intensity of this transit a bit overwhelming. Slowing down and honoring your own pace will be important for navigating the energy without burnout.

*April 19th: Sun enters Taurus ~ 3:55pm EST (Saturday)
Happy Taurus Season! The Sun enters Taurus on Saturday, April 19th at 3:55pm EST, officially ushering us into this grounded, sensual time of year. As the fixed earth sign, Taurus invites us to slow down, root into the present moment, and indulge in the richness of our senses.

Taurus celebrates embodiment through music, movement, art, touch, and pleasure. This is a season to savor life fully: go outside and soak in the beauty of nature, wear colors and fabrics that make you feel alive, listen to your favorite songs, and dance just because it feels good. Let joy find you in the little things, whether it's a delicious meal, a cozy nap under your favorite blanket, or simply feeling sunlight on your skin.

Self-care isn’t just encouraged during Taurus season, it’s essential. This is the time to honor your needs, protect your peace, and be unapologetically stubborn about what truly matters to you. We’re in the steady, earthy season of the Bull until May 20th. Those with natal Sun in Taurus, Virgo, or Capricorn tend to thrive during this time, while Pisces and Cancer may also find it nourishing and healing.

Also, Mars and Neptune form a harmonious trine today. We'll dive deeper into that tomorrow, as its influence will still be strong and relevant for the next several days.

*[April 20th] April 19th: Mars trine Neptune ~ 6:52pm EST ~ 0 degrees Leo / Aries (posted Sunday)
Yesterday, April 19th, at 6:52pm EST, Mars and Neptune formed a trine, with Mars at 0 degrees Leo and Neptune at 0 degrees Aries. We've been feeling this harmonious energy building since Wednesday, and its influence will linger through the middle of the week.

This transit is ideal for creative visualization, inspired action, and embracing the thrill of the unknown. There’s something exciting about not knowing exactly how things will unfold. It sparks curiosity, fuels imagination, and invites us to dream big. You may feel called to follow your instincts, even if the path doesn’t make logical sense. Trusting your gut could lead to magical outcomes.

With this open and fluid energy, we’re more likely to be drawn into others’ orbits, eager to share, collaborate, and exchange ideas. It’s a beautiful time for creative synergy, whether you're brainstorming, co-creating, or simply enjoying time with kindred spirits.

*April 21st: Saturn conjunct North Node ~ 7:31am EST ~ 26 degrees Pisces (Monday)
On Monday, April 21st at 7:31am EST, Saturn forms a conjunction with the North Node of the Moon. The North Node, also known as the Head of the Dragon, is a point in the Moon’s orbit associated with destiny and the evolutionary path, both individually and collectively. This is a powerful alignment, one we've likely felt building over the past two weeks and will continue to sense into early May. It’s a moment that can bring a heightened awareness of responsibility and the need to lay down a solid, realistic plan in order to manifest the changes we wish to see.

With both Saturn and the North Node currently in Pisces, we’re being asked to broaden our perspective and tap into our imagination. This isn’t just about structure, it’s about visionary structure. We’re being encouraged to think beyond conventional limits, guided by both intuition and discipline. Both Saturn and the North Node carry a karmic weight, so this transit may feel fated in some way, as if you're being nudged to step up in a specific area of your life. To understand where this energy is playing out for you personally, look to the house Pisces occupies in your birth chart. That’s where this sense of responsibility and alignment with your higher path is being activated.

During this time, we may need to introduce more structure or routines that support our goals while still allowing room for inspiration to flow. It’s about finding the balance between discipline and dream, commitment and creativity.

*April 24th: Venus conjunct North Node ~ 12:35am EST ~ 26 degrees Pisces // Venus conjunct Saturn ~ 8:01am EST ~ 27 degrees Pisces (Thursday)
On Thursday, April 24th, Venus takes center stage with two powerful conjunctions, making it a notably active and emotionally resonant day. The first occurs at 12:35am EST, as Venus aligns with the North Node of the Moon. This is the third time we’ve experienced this transit in recent months. This is thanks to Venus’s retrograde journey, which brought it across this karmic point, then back again, and now forward once more into new territory.

This final pass offers a sense of closure and forward movement, particularly in the realm of relationships. It's a moment where we can more clearly release what no longer serves our growth, especially those ties to past connections that may be holding us back. For some, this may look like letting go of outdated relationship patterns or even specific people. For others, this energy can bring deep clarity, allowing existing bonds to evolve and strengthen, aligning more with the path ahead. You may also notice a shift in how you relate to the past, perhaps releasing the tendency to romanticize what once was, and instead embracing the beauty of what’s unfolding now.

Later in the morning, at 8:01am EST, Venus meets Saturn in a conjunction that brings a sobering but supportive influence. This aspect encourages commitment, responsibility, and the expression of love through tangible actions. It's a time to show up for others, not just in words, but in grounded, meaningful ways. The key here is balance. Relationships that reflect mutual effort and respect are highlighted and worth investing in. On the flip side, if you find yourself consistently overextending and carrying the weight of responsibility without reciprocity, it may be time to reevaluate. While it’s natural for relationships to have seasons where one person gives more than the other, it’s important to assess whether the overall dynamic feels sustainable and fair. There’s a difference between someone genuinely needing support and someone taking advantage. This Venus-Saturn conjunction can help us see that difference more clearly, and act accordingly.

*April 26th: Mars opposite Pluto ~ 9:05pm EST ~ 3 degrees Leo / Aquarius (Saturday)
On Saturday, April 26th at 9:05pm EST, Mars opposes Pluto in a powerful and potentially volatile alignment. Mars currently sits at 3 degrees Leo, directly across from Pluto at 3 degrees Aquarius. This opposition has been building over the past several days and will continue to influence us into early next week. Interestingly, this is not the first time we’ve felt this tension. Thanks to Mars' retrograde journey, the two planets have danced in and out of orb for the past few months. Now, we meet the final confrontation.

This is an intense transit, one that may feel frustrating or emotionally charged. Power struggles can surface, especially where pride and ego are involved. There’s a desire to take action, to seize control of a situation, but without a clear path to do so, that urgency can turn into tension. Expect stubbornness to be in the air. You may find it difficult to get others to see your perspective, and just as hard to open up to someone else’s point of view. This energy can stir conflict, especially when our desires clash with external circumstances or with the desires of others.

Mars-Pluto oppositions bring a strong urge to transform and to make things different, but the danger lies in acting rashly or pushing too hard. Impatience can be our greatest challenge under this influence. Rather than forcing outcomes, this transit asks us to channel that intense drive into strategy. Think long-term. Take your time. Instead of reacting impulsively, consider what kind of change you truly want to create, and then begin laying the groundwork, step by step. Power used wisely under this transit can be incredibly transformative. But it requires awareness, patience, and emotional maturity.

*April 27th: New Moon in Taurus ~ 3:31pm EST ~ 7 degrees Taurus (Sunday)
On Sunday, April 27th at 3:31pm EST, the New Moon in Taurus reaches its peak, as the Sun and Moon unite at 7 degrees Taurus, in the first decan of the sign. This New Moon carries a soothing, grounding energy, inviting us to step back from the noise of the external world and focus inward on rest, self-care, and simple pleasures.

It’s not the most social of days, and that’s okay. If life calls you to be out and about, make sure to carve out space afterward to recharge. This is a time to honor your own rhythm. Whether that means listening to your favorite music, meditating, soaking in a bath, or heading out on a vigorous hike! Self-care isn’t one-size-fits-all. The important thing is tuning into your own needs and letting go of any pressure to conform to someone else’s version of wellness.

Ruled by Venus, this New Moon also emphasizes self-love and creative expression. It's a beautiful moment to engage in art, music, or any activity that brings you joy that is not for praise or profit, but simply for the pleasure of creating. Let it be private, playful, and personal. Use this lunation to reconnect with what makes you feel nourished, grounded, and whole.

*April 30th: Venus enters Aries ~ 1:15pm EST (Wednesday)
On Wednesday, April 30th at 1:15pm EST, Venus enters Aries, marking the final major transit of the month. This shift signals a move out of the reflective, backtracking energy we've been navigating, especially with Venus recently retrograde and now re-entering Aries after a dip back into Pisces. With Mercury, Venus, and Mars all progressing forward again, there's a sense of momentum returning.

Venus will stay in Aries until June 6th, encouraging us to be bold, direct, and unapologetically honest in our relationships. While clear communication is always important, during this transit, the clearer, the better. This is not the time for subtle hints or hoping someone reads between the lines. Say what you mean, and ask for what you want. This energy is dynamic, passionate, and spontaneous, making it a fantastic time for starting new relationships, forming new friendships, and saying yes to exciting social invitations or dates. There’s an adventurous spirit in the air, and we may feel more inspired to initiate. This is not just in love, but also in creative projects or personal goals. If you've been bored with routine, this transit can spark the desire for something fresh and invigorating.

Those with natal Venus in Aries, Gemini, Leo, Sagittarius, or Aquarius will likely find this transit especially energizing and aligned. If your Venus is in Taurus, Virgo, Scorpio, or Pisces, it may feel a bit more challenging at first, but you can still tap into the confidence and independence this energy brings.

For those with Venus in Cancer, Libra, or Capricorn, this transit might push you outside your comfort zone. You may be called to be more assertive or confrontational than usual, but that discomfort can be a growth point. Sometimes, being direct is exactly what prevents long-term conflict, even if it feels scary in the moment.
