Weekly Forecast: 3/20/15 through 3/26/15
Friday, March 20th - Today is the start of the astrological new year, and what a high energy day for such an event to happen. There is a super new moon this morning at 5:37am EST, followed by a solar eclipse about ten minutes later. The moon moves into the sign of Aries at 6:29am, and later the sun follows suit at 6:44pm, joining the moon in the first sign of the zodiac. It is also the vernal equinox here in the northern hemisphere. This is one of the biggest astrological (and astronomical) days we've had in quite a while. The energy is very positive and can kick start situations or projects that have been dormant or unable to get going over the past months. Now is the ideal time to begin shifting your attitude and expectations and moving forward in a more positive direction. New moons clean the slate of our experience and the astrological new year is a time to look toward the future and begin aligning yourself with the things you hope to achieve.
Saturday, March 21st - Today's energy is a bit unstable, but primed for action. The Aries moon makes a number of expansive, chaotic transits before moving void of course at 6:51pm. These include a Jupiter trine, Pluto square and conjunctions with Uranus and Mars. This whole week has been tipping tempers over the edge and creating confrontations, and you may notice that theme flaring up again today. There is a lot of fiery, independent Aries energy moving around today and it doesn't like to be cooped up. If anyone gets in the way of movement it could invoke a fire in you. Two inconjunctions (Venus/Saturn and Mercury/Jupiter) make it a challenge to relate to others this morning, unless they're telling you what you want to hear. You're better off working through any negative outbursts and using the energy to complete a task. Tonight will be a little calmer once the moon hits the void period.
Sunday, March 22nd - This morning the moon emerges from its void into the sign of Taurus at 6:41am EST. This will have an impact on any lingering intensity from yesterday and may subdue tempers, although the stubborn Taurus moon may make us unwilling to apologize or shift our stances. Mercury sextiles Pluto this afternoon, which is great for taking leadership and getting to the bottom of a problem. Communication is enhanced. By evening there is a calming, gentle influence from a Moon/Venus conjunction and Moon/Neptune sextile. Artistic ideas could come in, and moods will soften. Tonight there is a massive amount of inconjunctions at around 10pm EST. At least five different inconjunct transits will create a bit of confusion. This confusion will give the evening a surrealist quality, and may make it a challenge to see things for how they really are. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, as it is quite mild. However, it's a good idea to hold off any important discussions or changes until morning.
Monday, March 23rd - This morning the Taurus moon makes a few contacts before moving void of course at 10:25am, where it will stay until tomorrow morning. Having a day that is largely empty of any astrological transits is a good opportunity to reset and get in touch with ourselves. Now that we are in a new astrological year it is important to continue asserting what it is we want in life and to figure out exactly what we need to get there. This might be so simple as being more positive or giving ourselves more time to relax. Use this day to find what it is you need to get you to where you'd like to be.
Tuesday, March 24th - Early on this morning Venus sextiles Neptune. This is a beautiful influence for relationship harmony, artistic vision and spiritual enlightenment. Both Neptune and Venus are in the sign of their domicile (Neptune in Pisces and Venus in Taurus), making the attributes of the planets and signs even more pronounced. Mercury moves into conjunction with Chiron, which is useful for healing through words, communication and writing. This is an ideal day to mend issues with others, seek or give counseling, or get your message across. The moon comes out of its void at 9:23am EST and moves into Gemini. This is truly a day to interact with others and share connections. Emotions will be easier to cope with today as the Moon and Sun are in sextile. It may be a challenge to tend to responsibilities, unless they specifically deal with interpersonal relationships.
Wednesday, March 25th - The Moon is active today and forms a number of useful transits for achieving the unexpected. Today's energy doesn't want you to behave in the way you have become used to. It would serve you better to try something new, or a novel way of approaching an old situation. You are likely to see positive results this way. Venus and the North Node move into inconjunction today which could bring forth dissonance from people from your past, perhaps an ex or even someone from your "spirit family" (which I discussed in a previous post). The focus with these interactions is on breaking yourself out of bad habits or old ways of thinking. Try forgiveness, and if you prefer your life without this person then move on in a civil manner.
Thursday, March 26th - The Moon moves into sextile with Mars which can help bring social activity to the forefront and give us a boost of emotional endurance. Air signs in particular (Libra, Gemini, Aquarius) will have the easiest time with reaching out to others under the Gemini moon. The Moon moves void of course at 8:36am, where it will stay until 3:46pm when it moves into Cancer. This evening also has a social theme, but drives the focus more onto depth of feeling and connecting with others more closely. The evening is devoid of any major transits and so it is likely that you may enjoy some Cancerian nostalgia or reminiscing with someone close to you. This might be true primarily for Aries, Cancer, Pisces and Scorpio.
Lots of love!
