Weekly Forecast: 3/13/15 through 3/19/15
Friday, March 13th - Another Friday the 13th! Energy is sure to be high today and like on any Friday the 13th, belief will play a huge role in the day. What do you believe you are capable of on this day? The Sagittarius moon is quite active throughout the morning and afternoon before moving void of course at 7:12pm EST. There is quite a bit of motion carrying through the first part of the day, which is useful for activity and getting things that need to be taken care of out of the way. The Moon square Sun aspect around 1pm might create a bit of imbalance between our emotions and what is occurring in our lives. There may be a strong need for freedom but something that is holding you back from achieving it. Moon trine Venus later this evening is a pleasant aspect and helps make it a good evening to spend with someone you care about. Sagittarian moons are perfect for adventures or going out for some excitement. It's also an ideal night to be creative and get your mind moving.
Saturday, March 14th - The moon comes out of its void period and into the sign of Capricorn early this morning, at 2:40am EST. It joins Mercury in sextile, which will be a good influence for sharing your feelings with someone in a suitable way. The Capricorn moon gives us some emotional stability and the ability to look at our emotions objectively. Today Saturn moves retrograde at 11:03am EST. This shouldn't feel too shocking, as Saturn was retrograde for most of the past year. Saturn will continue its backwards motion through the zodiac, moving back through the first decan of Sagittarius and into the third decan of Scorpio. This motion will continue until early August. The theme of Saturn's last retrograde period was bringing to light issues of security. Saturn forces us to be responsible for our actions, and if we haven't been completely straightforward with others (our ourselves) we will have no choice to face this in the next five months. Anyone with personal planets in the aforementioned decans will be affected, as well as anyone whose planets form a square or opposition to Saturn during its retrograde. Feel free to contact me for more information on your own transits and this retrograde. The rest of the day will bring imagination to the forefront. Neptune and the Moon join in sextile and make for a pleasant emotional vibe, especially for Capricorns and Pisceans.
Sunday, March 15th - Today belongs to the Capricorn moon. All major aspects today involve the Moon. For those who are easily affected by moon transits, fear not... Capricorn offers a calming influence for otherwise rocky transits and will help you to push through any emotional reverberation with a stable hand. The beginning half of the day has the theme of "control". You may be forced to collaborate or compromise when you are not ready to do so. Transits involving Pluto and Uranus will force us to think on our feet and let others have a say. Tonight the Capricorn moon joins the Pisces sun in sextile. This is a calming influence and is extremely positive. Join together with friends or family and spend the evening doing something you enjoy.
Monday, March 16th - The energy today is heavy and dense. We are hit with several transits that are difficult to acclimate to, particularly with the Saturn retrograde that is currently in effect. The moon is void of course for two hours this morning before entering the sign of Aquarius at 6:14am EST. Despite the intensity of the day's aspects, the Aquarian moon is a good one to have on our side. We would do well today to look to the future and utilize the crystalline Aquarian energy to pull ourselves out of the murk that these transits produce. The big one for the day is a Uranus/Pluto square, which can bring about great changes and radical societal shifts. Of course, it can also bring turmoil and chaos. This interplay between Uranus and Pluto has been going on for two and a half years. You can see the effect this has had on the world in many different ways. The last time these planets interacted this way was back in the late 1960s. Society is experiencing a similar amount of unrest in present day. Today, Mercury and Saturn also join up in square, which can bring about issues in communication and trouble facing responsibilities. Now is a good time to examine what you hope to bring forth into the world. Don't lose sight of what you hope to produce and share with others.
Tuesday, March 17th - Venus enters the earthy, sensual sign of Taurus this morning at 6:14am. Taurus is ruled by Venus, and so this is a natural placement for the planet. Venus in Taurus is often the catalyst for "spring fever", bringing romance in its wake. It also has the dual impact of increasing creativity, particularly in arts and music. The Moon opposes Jupiter today, which could refuel the urge to travel or experience something new. The Aquarian moon also joins Uranus and Mars in sextile, which might play with emotions, but is more likely to spur us into action. Water signs (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces) might have a harder time getting their feet off the ground. The moon moves void of course at 2:19pm, where it will stay until tomorrow morning. As with any void, stay away from making big decisions if you can help it. It's a better night for going out into your community, or doing whatever you consider enjoyable.
Wednesday, March 18th - Mercury conjuncts Neptune early on today. This is an amazing aspect for creativity, writing and expressing yourself. It will be easy to convey ideas to others, particularly for water signs, who were struggling a bit to get moving yesterday. All signs can revel in this conjunction, though. The moon comes out of its void at 6:58am and moves into the sign of Pisces. The Pisces moon is very active for the remainder of the day, joining Venus in sextile, Neptune and Mercury in their conjunction, and squaring Saturn. You will be better off putting off routine tasks until tomorrow and focusing on creative projects or brainstorming today. The Saturn square will create a block for getting concrete tasks done, but the Neptune and Piscean energy is perfect for both inspiration and creative output.
Thursday, March 19th - Today is a fairly low-key day in the cosmos. The Piscean moon is here to help bring healing as it moves into conjunction with Chiron. This is a pleasant aspect, but it does require that you take a little time to relax and care for yourself. The moon also sextiles Pluto, which will be useful for leadership and taking control of your own emotions. There may be some issues with communication today because of the Mercury/North Node quincunx. Quincunxes aren't exactly negative; they just create a bit of a disconnect. It may be a challenge to get your ideas across, but keep working on your own and maintain your vision. There will be a good time to share it with others, even if it's not today.
