Friday, March 6th - The Virgo moon is void of course all day until 7:53pm EST, when it moves into the sign of Libra. This is really the only major astrological event happening today. The day after a full moon is still considered a "full moon phase" and so you may still feel the effects of yesterday's micro moon. Full moon phases are an interesting way to see what sort of energy you have been putting out over the last lunar cycle. Traditionally, on a full moon we receive manifestations that represent this energy. If you are not happy with what this full moon has brought, use the next few weeks to consciously alter your mind state. It is not so much the thoughts you think but the intention behind them. Consider your own intention and what you believe you are capable of as we go forward to the next astrological year.
Saturday, March 7th - Connections today have a sense of urgency. It may feel as though any interactions you have with people are more important, more telling and possibly more fulfilling than normal, especially for Libras, Geminis and Aquarians. The Moon conjuncts the North Node this evening while the Sun moves into conjunction with Chiron. Moon opposition Mars gives energy to emotional unions with others, and increases the desire to make this a reality. It is almost as though there is no time buffer today. Thoughts and ideas come and then are acted upon, particularly when it comes to communication and contact with others. If you're met with frustration, try to stay aware of the day's aspects and be patient if you possibly can. Not everyone will respond with the same intensity as you, particularly those who are caught in square to the North Node (earth signs especially).
Sunday, March 8th - Yesterday's energy carries over into today. The Libra moon is not an especially intense one, but coming out of the full moon and with the connections it makes this weekend there is an unusual need for instant results. Today there is less room for aggravation and more space for forgiveness. Emotional expanses are opened up and those who had closed doors around themselves may find them unlocked on this day. Communication fields open as the Moon trines Mercury this evening. It is a good day for discussion and healing between friends, family and loved ones. The moon moves void of course tonight at 9:25pm, where it will stay until morning. Have these talks before this void and try to let others share their feelings without coercion. The Moon/Pluto square this morning could make Capricorn and Libra in particular become bossy. Remember that positive results will be seen only if you can let others lead the way when it comes to disclosing personal information.
Monday, March 9th - The moon comes out of its void and enters the sign of Scorpio this morning at 9:10am EST. Scorpio moons tend to heighten whatever emotions we're feeling. Everything could be a little more intense than usual, but not necessarily in a bad way. Tonight the Moon joins Neptune in trine, which will be useful for invoking the imagination and sending in a flood of creative ideas to all signs, but especially to Pisces, Scorpio and Cancer. The moon is currently in its waning gibbous phase, where it will stay for the next week or so. This is the perfect time to clean out negative influences from your life, and to better yourself in some way. Remove obstacles from your path, work on healing yourself of illness or affliction, and let go of any behavior that isn't serving your highest good.
Tuesday, March 10th - We start the day off with Mars trine Jupiter. The energy today will be higher than normal. It may feel easier to get things done and to have the physical stamina needed to do so. It could also be a lucky day, particularly for Aries, Leo and Sagittarius. By "lucky" I simply mean that these individuals could have an easier time manifesting their desires. Mars gives us the energy and Jupiter the open mind needed to believe in ourselves. When these forces combine it becomes a lot simpler to draw to you what you want or need. The Scorpio moon squares Jupiter later this morning, and this could be the only drawback in achieving our goals today. Be careful not to let your emotions get the better of you. Stay focused. Tonight the moon sextiles Pluto and trines Chiron. While the morning will be ideal for getting out in the world and accomplishing things, the evening is perfect for healing, relaxation and quiet reverie.
Wednesday, March 11th - The majority of the day is packed with intense transits. Mars conjunct Uranus and Mars square Pluto could affect a number of people in pretty drastic ways. Behavior is likely to be erratic. These transits could see individuals making strange choices or saying things that seem very out of character. Tempers could flare up. Mars is particularly active this week and while that has the effect of pumping up the energy and enthusiasm, it can also heighten aggression. The moon is void of course for about four hours this afternoon/evening, from 3:47pm to 7:31pm EST when it enters the sign of Sagittarius. It's a very fire-oriented day. Utilize the chaotic energy to your advantage; channel it into creativity or get moving and active. If you sit still or force yourself to follow the same old routine you could feel claustrophobic today.
Thursday, March 12th - Today the Sagittarius moon sweeps through a number of transits before forming a Grand Trine with Jupiter and Uranus this evening. The fiery energy of yesterday carries into today, but instead of the aggression of Mars we will be experiencing more of the free spirit vibes of Jupiter. Jupiter is the ruler of philosophy, higher education (particularly the education we seek out on our own, rather than in institutions), travel and adventure. These themes will be highlighted today as they are activated by the Trine and the Sagittarian moon. The North Node is caught in sextile with the moon as well, and this will create opportunities to explore. It is important to maintain a playful spirit today. If you are still feeling some of the aggression from yesterday's transits, do your best to burn off that energy. Jupiter doesn't allow for too much heaviness, and so opportunities will only be offered to those who meet the day with a childlike curiosity and wonder.
