Friday, February 27th - This morning the moon exits its void of course period and moves into the sign of Cancer at 7:50am EST. Emotions could fluctuate under the water-sign moon, particularly when you consider the other aspects of the day. Jupiter inconjunct Pluto this evening could create power struggle dynamics. Rebellion could be a theme of the day. Perhaps you are on the Jupiter end of the spectrum and you are looking for freedom and room to move, or perhaps you end up on the Pluto side and expect others to provide you with structure and security. It might be difficult to see eye to eye with others in disagreements. Compromise isn't really an option tonight, particularly as the Moon squares Mars. Energy will be high, and tempers could flare. Tonight the Moon and Neptune meet in trine, which could imbue you with ideas galore. This will be especially true for Cancer, Pisces and Scorpio. No matter what you end up doing tonight, you will be on the move, either physically or in your own mind.
Saturday, February 28th - The moon is active this morning before turning void of course again at 12:50pm EST. The morning sees a number of contacts, including Moon trine Sun, Moon square Venus, Moon square North Node, Moon opposition Pluto and Moon square Uranus. This is a lot to be condensed into a short period of time, and so emotions could rapidly shift to accommodate these changing contacts. These are quite intense transits as well. Under a Cancer moon our emotions are already more changeable and sensitive, and so some could feel a bit off kilter at the start of the day. Aries, Capricorn, Libra and Pisces especially could feel a bit unstable. The void period will actually lessen these effects quite a bit. The rest of the evening will be quieter and with no major contacts being made astrologically, it's a good night to have fun with family and loved ones.
Sunday, March 1st - The moon is void of course all day until 6:35 this evening. Venus opposes the North Node of the Moon early this morning, which will bring to light any relationship issues or karmic ties to others that need your attention. If you have been ignoring problems in your partnerships (romantic, friend, business or otherwise) they will be impossible to turn away from today. Mercury sextiles Uranus which could result in being brutally honest, with no filter to keep you from saying exactly what's on your mind. Mercury also opposes Jupiter, so try to not get too carried away when discussing problems with others. It might be advisable to consider any grievances on your own and wait until tonight to share them, once you've calmed down and the stars are a little less brash. The moon enters Leo at 6:35pm, making it a good night to perform, or go out on the town and be seen. If you stay inside be sure to keep creative and work on something that brings your spirit joy.
Monday, March 2nd - A number of pleasant Moon contacts occur throughout the day and night. The Leo moon enjoys attention, helping others, and getting a chance to be creative. These themes will be highlighted today. The morning is full of energy thanks to Moon trine Mars and Moon trine Saturn. It will be easy to accomplish any tasks you set your mind to. It may be a good time to make a list of things that need to be done throughout the week and start tackling them while the iron is hot. The next three weeks are the last of the astrological year and so it is a good idea to "clean house", both figuratively and literally. The best way to allow new things to come into your life is to make room for them. Tonight emotions are buoyant and freeing, particularly for Leo and Aries.
Tuesday, March 3rd - This morning the Moon opposes Mercury at around 3am EST. This can make it difficult to express our emotions to others, but can make us feel as though it is imperative we do so. The influence is extremely fleeting and will only be felt for an hour or two maximum. At 3:48am the Moon turns void of course, where it will stay until tomorrow morning. Jupiter trine Uranus is the big aspect for the day. This contact is made at 7:48am EST and will be easy to feel all afternoon and evening too. The affect of Jupiter and Uranus in trine together creates sudden ideas, inspiration and a need to get off the beaten path. There is an exploratory quality to the day. Flashes of insight might come to you out of no where and you could find yourself taking unexpected action. Throw all your old concepts out the window today. Others could surprise you. The only concern is that with the moon being void of course during this aspect, any reckless decisions could be regretted tomorrow. Have fun and enjoy an adventure today, but remember to keep yourself rooted in reality too.
Wednesday, March 4th - The moon comes out of its void period this morning at around 7am EST and enters the sign of Virgo. If you did make any crazy decisions last night, they could come back to haunt you once Virgo takes the reigns. This afternoon Venus and Uranus move into conjunction, which could create new romances or give spark to ongoing partnerships. Creativity will continue to flow, and the Virgo moon will allow you to work diligently on projects to give them the backbone they require. The Moon squares Saturn a little later in the day, which could disrupt emotions in Virgos and Sagittarians especially. Tonight is kind of heavy; the Moon opposes Neptune and the North Node, and Venus moves into square with Pluto. Resist the urge to try to control others to get what you want. This is counterproductive and will end up isolating you from those you care about. Stay grounded and aware, and understand any feelings you have in regard to others not supporting you could be due to these transits.
Thursday, March 5th - Today there is what is called a Micro full moon in the sign of Virgo. This is the smallest the moon will appear all year from the Earth. A full moon, as you might recall from last month, is a Moon opposition Sun aspect. This hits at around noon EST. Micro moons are just as influential as super moons, but in a different way. Whereas super moons amplify the full moon effect and can create cosmic changes at the same time, micro moons don't pull on the earth's gravitational field as much and so we are less at the whims of the planets and can use the energy of the full moon to fulfill our own desires and wishes. The Moon trines Pluto before moving void of course at 1:37pm. There is a lot of power to be utilized today. Sun sextile Pluto this evening is a great influence for taking leadership and making the changes you wish to see.
