The first thing that is immediately obvious about your birth chart is that the majority of planets are situated on the left side of the chart, the Eastern hemisphere. People with that many planets in the Eastern hemisphere tend to be independent and value carving out their own path for themselves. They enjoy their freedom above all, and have no problem taking initiative to get to where they are going. However, your Moon is located in the Western hemisphere in the eighth house. Your moon sign shows your inner self and that which is kept hidden from most. The Western hemisphere of the astrology chart shows how we relate to others and work together with them. This shows that despite your ability and preference to go it alone, there is a hidden desire for partnership and for 'sharing the load', so to speak. This partnership could be any sort - business, friendship, creative, or romantic.
You have what is called a stellium of planets in the sign of Capricorn. These are three planets in conjunction to one another (meaning within 8 degrees of) in one sign. These planets all fall right near your ascendant, or first house line. Sun, Neptune and Venus are all right along your ascendant line. The ascendant is what we show to others, and relates to first impressions, physical appearance, and the things that we make sure others know are most important to us. The Sun represents ego, independence, and finding a place for ourselves in the world. These things are all important to you. I don't mean to say you are egocentric, or selfish. It is just that understanding yourself and how you relate to the world around you is a priority of yours. This is probably the most important part of this stellium, since it is in the first house of your chart. Planets that appear in the first house are paramount. A Sun in Capricorn suggests that you are a hard worker, and you have your own unique way of doing things. You probably figured out this system for yourself at a young age, and once you fine tuned it, you have continued to work this way. Capricorns are often described as 'those who follow rules'. Many Capricorns disagree with this, and the reason is that it is an incomplete thought. Capricorns are actually those who make their own rules, and then set out to follow them. You are likely a perfectionist who expects a certain amount of effort from others, but even more effort from yourself.
The rest of your Capricorn stellium is located in the twelfth house. These planets are close to the ascendant and so they are more obvious than most twelfth house planets, which tend to be suppressed and unconscious, but there is still an element of restraint when it comes to expression. Your Venus in the twelfth house suggests that you prefer solitude over meaningless companionship. There is a need for intensity regarding connection with others, and in particular there is a need for creative intensity as well. Creativity and spiritual connection are two of the most obvious traits upon meeting you, since your Venus (creativity, beauty and love) and Neptune (spirituality and illusion) are so close to the ascendant. But because these planets are in the 12th house, it is a challenge for you to express your wants regarding these areas to others. It is likely very hard for you to share your creative works with others, or to reach out romantically to others. Your ideals in these arenas are so great and vast that you hold yourself back based on fears of the results not meeting your expectations. Neptune in Capricorn creates a desire to work independently. The idea of a 9 to 5 job is particularly dreadful to you, and you want a job that is both meaningful and spiritually fulfilling. Jupiter rules your 12th house, which helps give you a little more luck and expansion in the areas of creativity and love than if you had a less benefic ruler.
Your Mercury is also in the twelfth house, but in the sign of Sagittarius. This is an interesting combination. Mercury in Sagittarius enjoys discussions, philosophy, and intellectual debate. These people enjoy traveling, both inside and outside of the mind. However, Mercury in the twelfth suggests that there are certain thoughts you refrain from sharing. There is almost an entirely secret side of yourself that you might not even be fully aware of. Imagination is intense and active with this placement, and there is a capacity for psychic development. Twelfth house Mercury tends to be impressionable, and so it is important for you to spend time on your own to separate your own thoughts from those around you. Independent thought is extremely important to you, and this is likely because you have worked quite hard to discover your own beliefs and goals. From a young age you may have been inundated with others' beliefs and plans for you. This can create a rebellious streak, and so sometimes you act contrary just to prove to others that their beliefs have no effect on you.
Jupiter is in the first house, and this suggests an expansive personality that is always evolving and growing. There is an active mind, a love for learning (provided that learning is done on your own terms), and a need to see different viewpoints and cultures. Jupiter in Aquarius means that you believe in uniting communities, coming up with new and fresh ideas, and working towards a greater goal than just 'having fun'. You enjoy unusual philosophies and thinking outside the box. You tend to be quite lucky, and despite your hard-working mentality and ability to initiate change for yourself, you are also good at being in the right place at the right time.
Saturn and Uranus show up in your eleventh house. Whatever house Saturn appears in tends to be a place where we run into responsibilities that keep us from being able to completely relax into our lives. Depending on how well-aspected your Saturn is (and yours is well aspected), this could be something we learn from quickly and get on with, or struggle with for years until we figure out how to confront our issues. Saturn in the eleventh house suggests that you might find difficulty in social communities, or large groups of friends. This does not at all mean you don't have friends, or even lots of them. It just means that you feel a responsibility to these groups that creates internal tension for you. This could manifest in situations with close friends, or in being able to actively affect a community and impact it with your own vision. Sagittarian Saturn is one that strives to understand the world, religion and spiritual meaning. There could be a disharmony between your own beliefs and those around you. Coupled with your tendency to be contrary just to assert your own beliefs, this has the potential to disrupt opportunities for you based on clashing of beliefs and creative vision. Uranus, also in the eleventh house, has a tendency to shake things up and create change even when it is not always wanted. Change in the eleventh house means you may experience new groups of friends quite often in your lifetime, or new creative opportunities. There is a cycle of rebirth that keeps happening in these arenas.
Mars in the tenth house suggests you have a lot of drive when it comes to career and societal status. The rest of your horoscope suggests that you are more comfortable being your own boss. You have an immense amount of energy when it comes to projects you care about. Mars in Scorpio also suggests that you can be rather intense when you decide you need to achieve something. There is a side of you that can easily push others away if it means you will be able to work better or reach your end. Your Mars is in weak conjunction with Pluto, which only ups your intensity. You don't always work well with others, and this might be something you have to keep dealing with until you can figure out a way to comfortably and rationally reach your goals.
Pluto in the ninth house involves obsession with travel, cultures, philosophy and higher education (often self-directed). Your whole chart is supported by Jupiter and Sagittarian ideals. You would be inclined to read Sagittarius horoscopes in addition to your own Capricorn predictions. Whatever house Pluto appears in often creates an intense need to understand and control whatever that house represents. You want to learn, and you want to see it all. There is an unconscious urge to collect more data and to expand your mind more and more. You have little interest in people who don't support and challenge your brain. You are likely to travel a lot, particularly in middle age. Traveling might not quiet your intense need to understand the world and how it works. This could be worked on through meditation or quieting the mind and its urges.
The moon in the eighth house suggests an inner pull toward the cycle of birth and death. There is a fascination with doing and undoing, and rising from the ashes of things you started. You may have an urge to just move away and start over without too much planning, although the rest of your horoscope suggests that this would just be a fantasy and nothing you would actually do. You may feel misunderstood, and with a Virgo moon you have a tendency toward being a hermit, or retreating into yourself. You feel things deeply and profoundly, but tend to feel in terms of thought. You are unlikely to say "I feel upset" but instead "I'm thinking about how I want to run away and so I guess that means I'm upset". There is a disconnect between your thoughts and your emotions. Feeling your intense feelings got to be too much at some point and so now you process them through your mind first. This is a good coping mechanism but can make it challenging to relate to others on a personal level. Your moon is squared by Mercury which means it feels innately difficult to communicate your feelings to others.
You have a surprisingly well-aspected chart. Your planets all support each other and work together well. There are a few aspect configurations that could bring up issues, and so I will mention these now. I don't mean to focus on the bad, but these are just areas that might pop up again and again until they are confronted. It is good to bring awareness to them. Your Mars in the tenth house is one. It is in opposition with your North Node. The North Node is something used in karmic astrology, and relates to where your soul is going. The South Node shows what we have already accomplished in past lives, while the North Node acts as a guidepost for what we need to focus on to evolve on our cosmic journey. Your North Node is in the third house in the sign of Taurus and is seated in direct opposition to both your Mars and your Midheaven. This North Node suggests that your goal in this life is to learn the skill of communication, and how to effectively communicate your values to others. This is a teachers' node. It does not mean you have to be employed as a teacher, but that you must learn how to teach others in a way that is beneficial to both parties. We can teach through conversation, through writing, through music, or through any medium. The main goal here is to find a way to establish your own values and share them. Go back and read the section I wrote about your Mars in the tenth house. This is what is standing in your way of achieving your life's purpose. Of course, you can work independently and work towards success. Those things are good and are encouraged whole-heartedly. The trick is to find a way to work on your own while communicating to others in a way that doesn't degrade either them or yourself. Your astrology suggests that in previous lifetimes you worked alone a lot, and were very good at it. You were likely revered in society for your contributions. However, the North/South node dynamic theorizes that once we master a particular skill, we move onto the next one. Often it takes multiple lifetimes to achieve this. Through awareness we can do this more quickly.
You have a great ability to reach others and effect change on your surrounding community. There is a lot you can learn from others, and in turn, impart on even more far-reaching members of society. You have natural luck, a lot of physical energy and enthusiasm, and a good amount of imagination and creative talent. There is much you can accomplish given the cosmic picture you have to work with.
