Friday, February 20th - Today two more celestial bodies shift into the sign of Aries, signaling the coming of the astrological new year. Venus is first at 3:05pm EST, followed by the Moon coming out of its void of course period into Aries at 6:13pm. The Moon immediately moves into conjunction with Venus and Mars. In the sign of Aries, these aspects will help propel us into action. Plans will start to take form, and it will be difficult to sit still when there are things to get done. Extra energy will be put into what we care about. As we come to the last couple weeks of the astrological cycle, there will be a lot of emphasis put onto ends and new beginnings. Things that may have appeared murky will grow clearer. Paths will form where before there seemed to be none. Mars-driven Aries will require action on our parts, however. When you feel inspired, it is time to go forth.
Saturday, February 21st - The Aries moon is especially active today before going void of course at 7:36 this evening. Only having a day outside of the void energy may be challenging if you are trying to get something accomplished quickly. Work hard in the morning and afternoon but use the evening for reflection or lighthearted fun. Emotions might fluctuate rapidly in the afternoon as the Moon conjuncts Uranus, but this will also have the flipped effect of propelling us toward creative energy. A Moon and North Node opposition early in the day may make you feel drawn to those who are out of reach for one reason or another. Moon square Jupiter just before the void begins will have an expansive effect on our emotional bodies. It is a "one with the universe" effect, but may be most noticeable to Aries and Leo individuals.
Sunday, February 22nd - The biggest aspect of the day is certainly the Venus and Mars conjunction that occurs at 12:12am EST. These planets have been traveling in close proximity for a while now, and so this is a feeling you may already be acclimated to. On this day it will be especially strong. This conjunction gives strength and energy to romantic relationships or those that have yet to manifest. It brings along creative inspiration, the drive to accomplish it, and strong feelings of love for those you care about. It also can help us gain more physical strength and energy. Tonight the moon's void of course period ends at 7:36pm when it shifts into the sign of Taurus. Taurus's sensual vibrations make it an ideal night for spending with a loved one, or nesting at home.
Monday, February 23rd - The vibes for today are fairly strange, mostly due to the Moon making a number of uncomfortable connections over the course of the day. These are balanced out by some positive aspects: Moon sextile Sun, for one, which is a highly benefic aspect that helps us feel like our inner worlds and outer lives are matched up. Today is a period of adjustment. A few planets shifting into Aries this past week could create new situations that require some time to get used to. Perhaps these are even positive changes, but the Taurus moon makes it a challenge to accept them open-armed (Taurus is stubborn, and dislikes change!). Things will calm down a little later this evening, when the moon moves void of course at 9:58pm.
Tuesday, February 24th - Yesterday evening's moon madness could carry over a bit into today. The moon is void of course until 11:54 tonight, so this is a good day for planning stages, reaching out and considering options, without actually settling on a choice or making a final decision. Today Venus trines with Saturn at 9:57 am, which could help increase stability in relationships. The other effect of this aspect is that our creative plans could become more grounded, especially those related to art, music and writing. The Moon sextiles Chiron early on this morning, which is ideal for figuring out what issues have been bothering us and why. Hurt feelings could emerge, but this is a great opportunity to assess what needs to be done to make positive changes. When the moon moves out of its void tonight just before midnight, it will enter the sign of Gemini.
Wednesday, February 25th - The Gemini Moon seems to be making up for lost time by forming six aspects before 7pm. Tempers could flare up today as Mars meets the Moon in sextile and trines Saturn later this evening. There is a lot of latent energy to be used today. If you don't find a constructive way to get this out it could emerge in anger. Get some physical exercise if possible, or channel your energy into a project of sorts. There is a Grand Trine this evening beginning at 7pm that involves the Moon in Gemini, Mercury in Aquarius and North Node in Libra. This is a highly positive aspect that will make communicating your feelings easier. Blocks in expression could be lifted. You may find yourself drawn to talk to others without much logical reason and then find that the conversation helped open a door that had previously been hidden. The Sun conjuncts Neptune tonight which can increase psychic activity, spiritual communion and creative inclinations. Go with the flow today; keep your mind active.
Thursday, February 26th - The Moon is void of course beginning at 3:44am, where it will stay until tomorrow morning. In the early hours of the day it sextiles Uranus and Jupiter, which will give the day an unexpected kind of element. Plans might not go as you expected, but it won't be so bad. Jupiter helps by putting people in the right places at the right time. There is a good deal of energy that spills over from yesterday into today. Feeling restless is likely. Things move fast today, but the void moon means that any changes might not be made solid until tomorrow. It's another good day to flow with the energy... wait and see what tomorrow looks like before shifting things in your life too drastically.
