Weekly Forecast: 4/3/15 through 4/9/15

My apologies for getting this post up a little late in the day. I am now giving astrology and tarot readings at Leapin Lizards in Portland, Maine. My schedule rotates for the time being but if you are nearby you are welcome to give the shop a call to set something up. 15 min readings are $25, 30 min readings for $45 and hour long readings are $75.

This week's forecast:
Friday, April 3rd - The moon came out of its void at 3:08am EST and moved into the sign of Libra. Libra is the sign of the weekend as the lunar eclipse and full moon occur tomorrow in the sign of Libra. This will amplify any Libra qualities in us and imbue Libras themselves with extra boosts of energy. Today we are given new opportunities in fields of work or responsibility. Communication might be a struggle, though we will seek out social opportunities and partnerships to balance ourselves out. The Moon and Mercury are in opposition this evening so it will be challenging to share our feelings. Keep social discussions on more abstract or impersonal topics if you wish for things to feel easy tonight.

Saturday, April 4th - The moon moves into conjunction with the North Node and sextiles Jupiter a few hours later. This is going to create a cosmic series of events and help set the stage for the full moon and lunar eclipse at 8:06 this morning. Today's 'Pink Moon' eclipse is the third in a set of five that began occurring in April 2014. These correspond with the Uranus and Pluto square transit that began in late 2013 and only recently came to full strength. This series of eclipses has only happened several other times in recent history, the last time being in 1967-1968. We are in the midst of a dramatic cosmic shift, and after this morning you may notice a change in the world's energy, particularly if you are already sensitive to such things. Social upheaval and unrest are prevalent, but we must begin to think in terms of what we'll do with the energy now that it is shifting. It's important to begin thinking globally. Every action we make affects the planet and the people living here. It will become more challenging to be a selfish thinker after this eclipse. You will notice the best results in your life if you begin thinking in a way that will benefit both yourself and the world around you. The moon moves void of course at 12:59pm EST, where it will stay until tomorrow afternoon. Use the remainder of the afternoon and evening to be as positive as possible. The energy we put out right now is going to have an echoic effect. It will reach further than you realize.

Sunday, April 5th - Mercury opposes the North Node this morning and later in the day the Sun and Pluto square. This is an intense set of transits that will continue the vibrations set in play yesterday during the full moon. Power struggles could emerge in both personal and community arenas. The ego is highlighted today. How much of the things you do are for the greater good, and how much of your energy is put into protecting yourself? These themes will come up again and again today. It is important now to find your true passions in life, those that make you fill with a joy that expands outward and over everyone you come across. The moon exits its void at 3:05pm and moves into Scorpio. These transits will certainly bring up some issues for some, especially those with personal planets in Libra, Aries, and Capricorn. Tempers could flare up. Some might resent sharing today.

Monday, April 6th - This morning Mercury and Jupiter move into trine, while the Moon and Neptune meet in trine as well. This is a great day for communicating ideas, plans and beginning to expand ourselves both mentally and through travel. It's an ideal time to make long term plans or commitments since it is easy to think broadly and to be honest about our feelings. The Sun and Uranus are in conjunction today. Innovation and newness are honored, and people may act positively in a way that is relatively surprising. Mars and Saturn are in quincunx this afternoon, which will make it a bit of a challenge to buckle down or work on anything that doesn't sound fun. Responsibilities related to health or caring for others could come up, especially for Aries and Sagittarius. Tonight the Moon moves into square with Jupiter and sextile with Pluto. Don't be surprised if you find yourself daydreaming. Relationships and equality in partnerships are issues that might be explored today.

Tuesday, April 7th - The Scorpio moon trines Chiron this morning and later opposes Venus, giving us an opportunity to heal through relationships and emotion. This might manifest as challenges in relationships, but it is a good time to exercise patience and understanding with the people you care about. The moon moves void at 4:42pm, where it will stay until very early tomorrow morning. Tonight Mercury and Pluto move into square. This may create suspicion or a need to understand what lies beneath other people's words. It's a good time for investigation, research or discovering what's been hidden. Honesty is encouraged.

Wednesday, April 8th - The moon comes out of the void at 1:09am EST when it moves into Sagittarius. The moon's transits today all suggest that we could be a little more serious minded on this day, or focused more on the work in front of us than on interpersonal relationships. There is a need to get menial tasks finished quickly so that we can explore and have time to enjoy ourselves after. Sagittarius, Capricorn, Pisces and Libra will notice this effect the most. Some might communicate radical ideas today. Shocking conversations could take place. Jupiter stations direct this afternoon after moving retrograde for the past 4 months. This could positively affect creative projects, jobs and other innovative ideas. Children could also receive benefits from this, particularly Leo, Aries and Sagittarian children.

Thursday, April 9th - The moon is in trine with Jupiter, Uranus, Mercury AND the Sun this morning and afternoon. It may feel like you can accomplish anything you put your mind to, and that wouldn't be far off. Buoyant emotions abound, and opportunities knock today. It is a better day for action than for reflection. Once the moon moves void of course at 1:42pm it is preferable to hold off on making any huge changes, however. Tonight the Sun and Mercury are conjunct, creating even more positive vibrations in the cosmos. It's a good day for socializing, communicating or sharing ideas through writing and music. Use the continuing energy from last weekend's full moon and eclipse to help others through your words tonight.

Thank you for reading! Ash Wolf
