Friday, April 10th - Today the moon exits its void at 8:47am EST and moves into the sign of Capricorn. The rest of the day is fairly pleasant and devoid of any conflicting energies. Capricorn moons are a little more serious and so it is possible that you could get some good work done on this day, particularly since the Moon will sextile Saturn this evening and trine Mars. This gives a boost of physical endurance and energy, the discipline to follow through and the level-headed attitude needed to not let emotions hold us back. Make sure that any social appointments you have this evening are helping you to gain perspective or work toward a goal if possible. Idle fun might feel a little limiting, especially to Capricorns, Sagittarians and Aries.
Saturday, April 11th - The big shift of the day is Venus into Gemini. This will invoke a playfulness in love or romantic relationships, and enhance communication in partnerships of all types. It's a good few weeks to work on writing projects, particularly with another person's help. On the downside, it can magnify any tendencies we have to 'wear many faces' (see image above!). Geminis are masters of disguise and with Venus involved you could be taken in by a trickster or fooled by tricks of shadow and light. Carry orange and green stones to enhance your second and fourth chakras over the next couple weeks. This will help you feel out the truth as you interact with others. The moon is a little harsh today as it forms a number of aspects that create a divide between emotions and intellect. Authority and power are highlighted today. It is a good time to attempt to find balance between being a leader and a follower. We can make great leaps today by removing the concept of 'duality' in relationships and group dynamics. Consider finding a way to make everyone's voice be heard. You will get further this way than through selfish ambition.
Sunday, April 12th - The moon moves void of course early this morning at 4:16am EST. It will only remain here until 1:45 this afternoon when it enters the sign of Aquarius. It might be difficult to get started this morning. Mars sextile Neptune hits today and keeps us in a perpetual state of daydreaming. Energy will be plentiful but only for spiritual or artistic pursuits. Anything more demanding could be a challenge over the next week or so, especially for Taurus, Pisces, Leo and Sagittarius. This evening the newly turned Aquarian moon forms pleasant aspects to Venus (trine) and Saturn (sextile). New ideas could come about that could better your life in some way. Be on the look out for inspiration.
Monday, April 13th - Today features a number of aspects that highlight the Aquarius moon. The moon will send us on an emotional journey today. Our trip begins with a Moon and North Node trine, which will reconnect us with our purpose and with those who are meant to help us along the way. As the day progresses, we could grow a little impatient thanks to a Mars square and Jupiter opposition. These transits will make our outlook grow brighter and will create a desire to wander beyond our typical routines, but with the Moon/Jupiter opposition events could stop us from being able to do so. We could have a long list of things that we'd like to accomplish, but roadblocks could emerge out of no where. That is okay... there is plenty of time to get everything done, and it is better to work out of joy and inspiration than in a place where we feel as though we NEED to complete tasks or else we have failed. The day's trip will complete with a Moon and Uranus sextile. This Aquarian energy will bring about new ideas, particularly for Aries, Libra, Gemini and Aquarius. Technology could be highlighted this evening.
Tuesday, April 14th - Today is a rather full day in the cosmos. The Aquarius moon makes some pleasant aspects early in the day, forming sextiles with the Sun and Mercury. Moods could be positive. It's a day for "high-flying", especially prior to 3:45pm EST. Mercury is in full force today as it moves into the sign of Taurus at 6:51 this evening. Use the early part of the day for conversations involving leadership, promotion or independent study. As Mercury moves out of Aries into Taurus, it will be easier to communicate about our values, creative projects, nature and loved ones. During the Mercury in Taurus period (which lasts about two and a half weeks) it will be a good time for improving our home life through decor or renovation, moving to a new home, gardening, or working on creative endeavors, particularly those that involve singing or dancing. Today the moon is void of course for about a half an hour, from 3:45pm to 4:12pm EST. This will barely be noticed, but Scorpio and Taurus might have a harder time making decisions during this short period. The moon moves into Pisces at 4:12, and will later square both Venus and Saturn this evening. Sensitivities could be triggered tonight, and responsibilities thwarted. It might be a better night to hibernate inside, or else spend it with someone who makes things easier all around.
Wednesday, April 15th - The Venus and Saturn energy from yesterday carries over as the two planets join in opposition at 12:24am. Structure and planning inside relationships and creative projects may not pan out this week. It is better to go with the flow. It isn't a matter of letting go of commitments entirely, but they could work out differently than anticipated. For instance, if you are planning a vacation with a loved one, maybe the timing will have to be flexible, or the place you hoped to stay is booked. That isn't to say the vacation won't work out, just that you may have to alter your expectations a little. As the day progresses, things lighten considerably. The Pisces moon forms pleasant aspects to Neptune (conjunction at 6am EST), Mars (sextile at 9am EST) and Pluto (sextile at 5pm EST). This combination is quite incredible! It offers up the ability to imagine and envision your future, along with the drive and obsession needed to make these goals a reality. Work throughout the day on plans, but take a rest around 5:37pm as the moon moves void of course. It will stay there until tomorrow evening, so use this time to continue imagining your ideal future while waiting to act until the time is right. It is possible that Scorpio, Pisces and Cancer could continue to make progress even during the void.
Thursday, April 16th - The Moon comes out of its void today at 5pm EST. There are no major aspects ALL DAY before this. Consider yesterday's advice during the majority of this morning and afternoon. The Moon enters Aries at 5pm. Now is the time to continue working towards the goals we envisioned during yesterday's cosmic inspiration flash. Mercury and Saturn are in quincunx this evening, which means that you might have to go it alone for a time. If you share your ideas with others during this aspect, they might not quite understand where you're coming from. Taurus and Sagittarius will have the most trouble with getting others onboard. By the weekend it should be safe to share your plans with others in a way that will excite them. Tonight Pluto stations retrograde at 11:55pm EST. This retrograde will go until September. Pluto retrogrades bring up issues involving power, leadership, obsession, investigation and control in one on one relationships. Pluto also drags up anything that has been lying in the shadows. If you tried to sweep something under the rug between now and last September, it will come to light now. Pluto's energy is evolved from the Greek legend of Hades and Persephone. Like Hades, Pluto invokes the need for control and power in us all. As we enter spring in the northern hemisphere, Persephone is let out from her underworld prison and into the light. This energy may manifest in different places in your life during the retrograde, depending on where your own natal Pluto lies and what planets transiting Pluto is triggering for you. No matter what way it shows up, it is important to understand balance. Curiosity and wanting to know more about others and situations is fine. If you let it grow into obsession or addiction it is something else. Use awareness throughout the next several months, particularly since Saturn is also in retrograde. This combination will create a lot of issues for those who have been unwilling to face their personal demons. There will be no more hiding.
