Friday, June 12th - Mercury is working its way out of the shadow period of retrograde right now, but today we are hit almost instantly with another planetary retrograde. Neptune, planet of spirituality, illusion and poets, moves retrograde this morning at 5:09am EST. This retrograde period will last until November and will cause us to reevaluate our feelings on our own spirituality and the image we project outward into the world. Some may become very sensitive about these things. Intuition will increase overall, and creativity will flow. A lot of people will experience drastic changes in their belief systems and may gravitate towards people and things that reflect these alterations. The moon is void of course until 10:17am EST today, when it enters Taurus. Stubbornness is a theme for the day. The moon squares Venus and the Sun squares Chiron tonight. It could be a challenge to see eye to eye with others, and relax into the flow of the universe. Try to take some deep breaths and remind yourself of the positives, even if there don't seem to be that many.
Saturday, June 13th - Neptune retrograde is an intensely personal journey. It takes us back to the things we once valued and believed to be true, and it turns those things on their heads. When added to the Saturn and Pluto retrogrades, we are likely to come to a fork in the road. We are forced to look inside ourselves and reassess personal beliefs. Many will make drastic life changes this year. The most important thing is to let go of others' expectations, or those things we perceive to be what others may want from us. Today these themes are highlighted under the Moon/Neptune sextile and the Venus/North Node sextile. Venus and the North Node meet together in unity and harmony, the realization of perfect partnership. Creative partners and romantic partners alike meet together under this special influence and are capable of making great impact today. The moon trines Pluto at around 11am EST. We may need to scrap ideas today and start over. Pluto is a destructive influence, but this can be wielded in a loving and gentle way. Destruction is necessary for creation, and the two walk hand in hand. Tonight the moon squares Jupiter at around 6pm before moving void of course at 6:07pm EST. There may be a need for more space tonight, or claustrophobia when it comes to dealing with others. Earth signs especially (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn) will want to get off the beaten path. Tonight things slow down and the intensity lightens a bit. The moon and Chiron are in sextile late tonight. This is a good influence for healing the energy of your home. Organization, rearranging, and cleaning are all favored this evening and will allow forward movement in all areas of life.
Sunday, June 14th - The day begins slowly, and then Sun conjunct Mars hits at 11:55am EST. The Sun and Mars in Gemini will bring about a quick flow of ideas and energy and enthusiasm to act upon them. This influence is a little like a dose of caffeine. Some may actually be jittery and extra talkative during this transit. The moon exits its void at 1:51pm EST and enters Gemini, immediately moving into opposition with Saturn. Traditions and old ways of thinking are questioned. This is a good influence for teaching or learning from others. Saturn continues its retrograde march today and reenters Scorpio at 8:36pm EST. We have been through Saturn in Scorpio, and not too long ago either... themes regarding responsibility in finances, legal matters, and occult study all come up once again. This is the same stuff you were seeing a few months ago, but the difference is that now there has been an opportunity to gain perspective. Saturn in Scorpio can be intense, but this time around at least there aren't that many surprises. The moon and Mercury meet in conjunction tonight, allowing an open flow of conversation and more fast-paced, quick-witted discussion and brainstorming. You can use this evening for breaking through writer's block, for those who have been struggling with getting their ideas out.
Monday, June 15th - Early this morning the moon trines the North Node, sextiles Venus and squares Neptune. These contacts will connect you with friends and like-minded individuals. The theme is on community today. The people you interact with will likely cause ideas to spring forth. Conversation acts as a catalyst. The main issue today will be an intense lack of focus and tendency toward daydreaming. These things aren't necessarily a problem in and of themselves, but today's energy requires us to be a bit more grounded and down to earth. Center yourself and carry some copper or hematite, if you have any. You can also take an iron supplement. Tonight the moon sextiles Jupiter. Conversations turn philosophical and theoretical. It's an ideal night for discussing deeper ideas when it comes to movies, music, art, etc. Travel is favored, as is interacting with those from other cultures.
Tuesday, June 16th - Early this morning the moon sextiles Uranus and squares Chiron. You may hear some surprising things from others today, or be compelled to say something that others do not expect of you. Capricorn and Cancer (or those with their moon or Mercury in those signs) may say things that they don't mean today, but others will be speaking their truth. If your words fall on deaf ears, don't overstep. Give it some time and your message will be understood. Venus and Neptune meet in quincunx at 2:20am EST. It is possible that you could misread others' intentions today, particularly of those that are close to you. Leo and Pisces will get hit the hardest. Don't jump to conclusions, if you can help it. The moon conjuncts Mars and the Sun around 9-10am EST. This is a positive social influence that will allow some fun and light-heartedness in the mix of the day. Despite being a new moon, there is less emphasis put on shedding the old and more on cherishing the present. Gemini, Libra and Aquarius shine. The moon moves void from 10:06am EST until 6:51pm, when it moves into Cancer. The afternoon is better left in flux. Don't make any big decisions and take your time today. Staying in is favored this evening.
Wednesday, June 17th - This morning the Cancer moon squares the North Node at around 6am EST. This creates a divide between focus. Today in particular there is a split between the type of life we cultivate at home and in our inner worlds, and the life we live externally when we are around others. The key to getting through the day is finding common themes in both arenas and using these to regain balance. This afternoon the moon trines Neptune, amplifying 'watery' themes for the day. If you can hide away from the bustling world for a bit this afternoon, it could do you some good. Spiritual pursuits and creativity are favored as the day progresses. This evening the moon and Pluto are in opposition at around 9pm EST. Others may have lofty expectations of you, or you may be projecting those expectations on others. Emotions could be intense if these feelings are escalated into confrontations. Draw back and utilize the gentle energy of the day, rather than throwing your focus on others.
Thursday, June 18th - The Cancer moon trines Uranus and Chiron this morning. Feelings take on new shape and meaning. You may find yourself redefining existing relationships or else seeking out new ones entirely. Healing starts at home or in the place you feel most comfortable. Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces may work through blockages relating to their concepts of family or 'home'. Mercury and the North Node meet in trine at 10:52am EST. We are working our way out of the Mercury retrograde shadow period, and today it will finally start to feel like the veil is being lifted. Communication will be a bit easier, and can help us work toward releasing tension. Writing and public speaking are favored.
