Hi, I'm so sorry for the late forecast post! I've been moving into a new home this week and have been a bit scattered as a result. I'm sure Mercury retrograde isn't helping matters much, either.
Here is an overall weekend post so you can connect any dots that have been going on in your life with the cosmic portrait, and then daily forecasts will be back to normal:
Weekend of September 18th - September 20th / Mansions of Ma'at, Seshat and Ra-Horakhty
The entire weekend consisted of moon transits and not much else. As you probably know, the moon is the fastest moving luminary/planet in astrology, and so we often will have three or four moon transits each day. Friday the Scorpio moon trined Chiron, sextiled the Sun and squared Mars before moving void of course for the rest of the day. This could have created a lot of sudden energy for many. It is possible you've been able to call on strength or energy reserves you didn't know you had, unless your own Mars is being negatively aspected in some way currently. The void was a particularly long one for what we've been used to lately, ending at 11:32pm EST when the moon moved into Sagittarius. Saturday had particularly intense energy, although the Sagittarian moon makes a number of diversions for us to sink our attention into to escape anything particularly trying. The moon squared Neptune and Jupiter Saturday afternoon, which is escapist energy at its finest. Lots of daring or reckless activity could have been undertaken. Luckily the Sun is in Virgo which can help to keep things in check. Sunday morning the moon trined Venus and squared Chiron, which is a fairly pleasant series of transits for a romantic day or afternoon spent creating, decorating, etc. Again the Sagittarius moon proves adept at keeping us busy and excited by our surroundings. Sunday afternoon a Moon/Uranus trine created an opportunity for something outside the typical comfort zone. We moved through the Mansions of Ma'at, Seshat and Ra-Horakhty this weekend, an arc that encouraged us to first look at others compassionately, then focus on clear communication, and finally provide inspiration through our own passions. Some of the lunar transits for the weekend may have pushed us off any type of serious groundwork and instead served to give us some light-hearted fun.
Monday, September 21st - Day begins in Mansion of Ra-Horakthy / Enters Mansion of Sobek at 8am
This morning the Sagittarian moon trines Mars and squares the Sun before moving void of course at 5:00am EST. Tempers and fiery flares come up, but this is not particularly directed at others and is instead focused around feelings of confinement. Many could feel the need to expand their horizons or at least daydream about the possibility. The moon exits its void at 8:33am EST and enters Capricorn. Today is a little rough for Mercury retrograde, and this manifests primarily through business agreements gone awry. The moon/Mercury square today can create financial errors, inconsistencies or mistakes in the workplace or in our dealings with those connected to our income. Double check things and exercise patience, if possible. Tonight the moon sextiles Neptune, which gets imaginations working overtime. Consider working on something creative, or engaging in a particular hobby. The moon is in the Mansion of Sobek, the ancient god of crocodiles and alligators, for much of the day. This creates a restless feeling and the need to explore something beyond what is known. This manifests differently for everyone. Some could actually want to go on a physical adventure (take a trip, hike, etc.) while others may find themselves researching something new or unexpected. The options are pretty limitless, and that is the whole theme of the day. Continue to push your boundaries forward and open yourself up to possibilities that were larger and more expansive than you dreamed.
Tuesday, September 22nd - Day begins in Mansion of Sobek / Enters Mansion of Bastet at 8am EST
Venus and Chiron meet in inconjunction at 12:55am EST, which offers up an opportunity for healing rifts in relationships of all kinds. That may not be the initial inclination, as any inconjunction makes it a challenge to see eye to eye with others. You may find it difficult to understand the motivation of someone close to you, or feel as though they are misreading your actions. Mercury retrograde makes this especially difficult. With the inclusion of Chiron in the transit, there is tremendous room for healing. It is important to be patient with others and try not to read too much into things today. The moon moves through trine with Jupiter, a conjunction with Pluto and a square with Mercury this morning, which allows for imaginative thinking coupled with the ability to focus intensely. Jealousy could be an issue for some today, and communication troubles are likely to arise. This evening the moon sextiles Chiron and squares Uranus, which helps in trouble-shooting but is not the best influence for group work. Consider working solo if you can. Venus and Uranus meet in trine tonight at 11:58pm EST, which allows for excitement and adventure in romance. Creativity comes in and it is possible to look at situations in an entirely new light. We spend most of the day in the Mansion of Bastet, which centers our work around health. This extends to both emotional and physical health, and places an emphasis on maintaining this. Do what is necessary to feel better today. Honing skills through practice is a good plan for the day.
Wednesday, September 23rd - Day begins in Mansion of Bastet / Enters Mansion of Onuris at 7am EST
The Sun enters Libra this morning at 4:20am EST, just as the moon moves void of course. Having the Sun in Libra tends to place our focus more on collaboration, partnership and creative expressions of beauty. The morning is slow-paced and gentle for most (depending on individual transits). The void ends at 1:52pm EST, when the moon enters Aquarius. It's a mad science type of day, allowing interaction with others to propel us forward in our various projects and interests. With a moon/Saturn sextile and moon/Sun trine occurring just as the Sun and Saturn also meet in sextile, it is possible to stay in an imaginative headspace while still managing to get concrete work done. Tonight the moon trines the North Node, a "right place at the right time" aspect. If you let yourself get caught in the groove of the moment, you can easily magnetize to the things you're looking for tonight. We enter into the Mansion of Onuris for most of the day, realm of the warrior sky god. An interesting Mansion for the day, as Onuris is all about protecting tradition and upholding the past. With the Aquarian innovation at an all-time high today, it will be a blend of incorporating nostalgia into our new ideas and concepts.
Thursday, September 24th - Day begins in Mansion of Onuris / Enters Mansion of Anuket at 5am EST
The Sun conjuncts the North Node at 1 degree Libra this morning at 5:05am EST, continuing the theme of magnetizing us to the places we need to go. North Node is all about karmic journeys and the soul's continuing evolution. The Sun conjunction roots this in the real world, allowing us to line up actual manifestations and circumstances that reflect our inner vision. The Libra conjunction will assist with partnerships and relationships that assist us on this adventure. The moon trines Mercury at noon, which will be a nice breakthrough for any technology snafus that have popped up due to the Mercury retrograde. It may be possible to solve or fix these in a simpler manner than expected. Mercury squares Pluto tonight at 6:20pm EST. Issues of power, control and mishandled leadership will be prevalent. Don't make any rash decisions until tomorrow, especially if your emotions are involved. The moon sextiles Uranus at 10pm, just before Mars enters Virgo at 10:17pm EST. Health and consciousness turn inward, making this a good time to begin a specific exercise schedule that is centered around your own individual needs, rather than someone else's. We are in the Mansion of Anuket for most of the day, realm of reform and change. Shift things that need to be altered, keeping a cool and rational head throughout.
