Friday, January 15th - There is only one major aspect all day today, which is fairly rare. The day may feel a bit like a new beginning in some ways. It is an excellent time to check into your own personal transits and tap into what these mean for you in the coming weeks. Tonight at 7pm EST the moon trines Saturn. This is an excellent time for focus and getting hard work accomplished. Some will feel a bit serious and unable to loosen up until work is done (although Virgo, Libra and Scorpio are more apt to procrastinate).
Saturday, January 16th - This morning the moon moves through a conjunction with Uranus, a square with Mercury and a trine with Venus. Ideas are expansive and large today, but it may be a challenge to get your thoughts across to others. Partnership is favored, provided ego can be put aside. Mercury retrograde comes up in the form of confusion surrounding business and career conversations. Tonight the moon squares the Sun and moves void of course at 6:26pm EST. Some may feel a bit aggravated or unable to express themselves. The void period lasts for the remainder of the night. Mercury retrograde creates issues with finalizing plans tonight so try to be flexible.
Sunday, January 17th - The moon exits its void this morning at 12:48am EST and enters Taurus. It is an excellent day for spending time at home and taking care of issues surrounding your house. Consider cleaning up or getting rid of old items. Beautify your living space today, even if the effort is small.
The moon opposes Mars and sextiles Neptune this afternoon. Anger issues may arise, which will be helped by physical exercise and healthy competition. Frustrations can be dealt with easily this way. Imaginations are working overtime, especially in Taurus and Pisces. Music, art and creative ventures receive an extra boost of energy throughout the day and evening.
Monday, January 18th - Venus squares Jupiter at 12:09am EST, which can make it very difficult to focus. Attentions are scattered today. You may feel as though it is difficult to give those you care about sufficient attention. Try your best to put energy into one thing at a time. Virgo and Sagittarius may have the hardest time harnessing their restlessness.
This morning, the moon trines Pluto, which brings a serious intensity to the day (particularly for Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn). It may feel as though the tasks at hand appear more serious than they actually are. Mars and Neptune meet in trine, which does suggest that it is an excellent day to take action. Reach out to those you care about today and consider taking the next step in business and creative ventures. Be sure, however, that facts are double-checked and you are able to look at things objectively.
The moon trines Mercury and sextiles Chiron this morning as well. These transits help communication issues and allow connection with others to blossom. Healing work is favored. It's an excellent time to begin a new regimen or health plan.
Venus and the North Node are in square today, which will bring up relationship issues for some. People you rely upon may be hard to pin down or may disappear suddenly with no explanation, or perhaps you may feel ready to break ties and commitments. This will hit hardest, again, for Virgo and Sagittarius or those with Venus in those signs.
This evening, things calm down a bit as the Taurus moon trines Jupiter and the North Node. Education and study are favored this evening. It is a good time to implement future plans, or simply to hone in on goals and hopes.
Tuesday, January 19th - The moon trines the Sun early this morning, just as Mercury sextiles Chiron. A buoyant joy fills the morning and is easy to tap into, should you try. Communication snags may arise, but are easily dealt with by maintaining an honest, direct approach. The moon moves void of course at 1:50am, where it will stay until 4:13am EST as it enters Gemini. Use the day to finalize plans and bring about lasting change. Decisions made today are more likely to stick.
This evening, the moon squares Neptune, which keeps some firmly rooted in their opinions and beliefs. Consider discussing ideas with others and allow yourself to remain open-minded. Conversations offer new insight and help bring about positive change.
Wednesday, January 20th - Early this morning, the moon opposes Saturn and sextiles Uranus. Some will behave erratically. Procrastination occurs, and may give the day a slow start. You may feel a bit restless if stuck in one spot today. The Sun enters Aquarius this morning at 10:26am EST. The next month helps our minds become more open and our thoughts to be more far-reaching. Ideas crafted over the coming weeks can be put into action with the help of others. Community in general is a big theme over the next month. The Aquarian Sun will assist with Mercury retrograde, particularly with any technological snafus.
The moon squares Chiron shortly before Mercury and Uranus are in square. Disagreements arise. It could be difficult to see eye to eye with certain individuals. Aquarius and Aries, in particular, may experience interpersonal difficulties today.
The moon squares Jupiter and the North Node tonight. Hold off on planning or enacting changes until morning, if possible.
Thursday, January 21st - The moon opposes Venus early this morning before moving void of course at 3:01am EST. It is a good day for working solo and taking independent action. Consider breaking away from partnerships that no longer serve you, or at least find a way to carve out your own space within them.
The moon emerges from the void at 8:28am EST and enters Cancer. The day is largely free of aspects, bringing in a peaceful, serene energy. Consider meditating or taking a few moments to relax. The moon and Neptune trine at 11pm tonight. This is part of a Grand Trine (between the moon, Neptune and Mars) that will last for the next five hours or so. Grand Trines harness the energy of those planets/luminaries and allow for great shifts and change to be enacted. This particular one is a water trine (moon in Cancer, Neptune in Pisces and Mars in Scorpio) that will help with empathy, compassion and interpersonal relationships. Intuition is heightened tonight and into tomorrow morning.
