Friday, January 22nd - The energy of last night's Grand Trine in the water element carries over into the morning. The union of the moon, Mars and Neptune in trine is useful for implementing change and taking action. Utilize this beneficial transit for creative projects and for extending compassion and love to those around you.
Mercury and Pluto meet in conjunction at 5:10am EST, which may force some to deal with things in a very direct way. Confrontations could arise. Leadership ability can be tapped into under this transit. Take charge today. Mercury is assisted by focused, intense Pluto, allowing a plan of attack for goals to be undertaken with a clear direction in mind.
This afternoon, the moon opposes the Mercury and Pluto conjunction at about 12pm EST. Emotions could get in the way of what needs to be done. Be aware of the divide between logic and feeling today, as it could come up for many people you interact with.
The moon squares Uranus and Chiron over the course of the afternoon and evening. Some may feel a need to express their opinions, even if they were unsolicited. It is important to tap into the Neptune energy from this morning's trine and try to understand where they are coming from. It could be easy to be swept up in meaningless arguments if you don't exercise a little patience or love for the people in your life.
Saturday, January 23rd - As we gear up for tonight's Full Moon, it is a great time to begin reaping the rewards of the past two weeks' work. Full Moons always symbolize a time of harvest and growth, while New Moons are about shedding, transformation and removal of energy that no longer assists us. Tonight's Full Moon in Leo will center around personal goals, creativity, children and animals. This is an excellent evening to bring about change in those areas.
The moon sextiles Jupiter and the North Node early this morning before moving void of course at 1:21am EST. A lot of anticipation or excitement circles around today. It may feel as though something big is about to happen, perhaps even for no reason.
Jupiter and the North Node are in conjunction today. The transit hits at precisely 5:58am EST, but the energy will carry throughout the afternoon and the next couple of days as well. This is a very lucky, karmic transit that brings about expansion and change in areas which bring us closer to our life's purpose. If you are feeling far from your purpose, now is the time to take action. It is important not to sit back and wait for something to happen (this week especially). Even a little effort can bring great rewards.
The moon comes out of the void at 2:21pm as it enters Leo. The Full Moon (Moon opposition Sun) takes place at precisely 8:46pm EST. This particular moon brings about sweeping change for many - particularly Leo, Aquarius, Taurus and Scorpio (although anyone can tap into this energy!). Some egos may be delicate or sensitive tonight.
Sunday, January 24th - The moon squares Mars this morning, creating frustration and possibly the feeling of being overlooked. Outbursts will likely be met with regret by the one lashing out, later in the day. The moon trines Saturn this afternoon, which is useful for accomplishing tasks that have been put off for a while.
At 3:31pm EST, Venus enters Capricorn. Commitments may be undertaken in relationships or partnerships of any kind. Financial stability or steadiness in other areas can help deepen commitments or take connections to the next step over the coming few weeks. Capricorn, Taurus and Virgo will have the easiest time in relationships over the next few weeks. Consider working with others during this time.
The moon trines Uranus tonight before moving void of course at 9:51pm EST. New ideas come in. Creativity is at an all-time high tonight, particularly for Aries, Leo and Sagittarius.
Monday, January 25th - Today is relatively quiet on the astrological front, aside from Mercury resuming direct motion at 4:50pm EST. This will come as a relief to many, but it will still be a few weeks until we are out of the 'shadow period' created by the retrograde. While communication and the flow of information will definitely improve, it is recommended that you wait until mid-February to make any major life changes or sign any important contracts.
The moon exits its void tonight at 10:46pm EST and enters Virgo. It is a relatively quiet day that is ideal for recuperating and resting the mind and body.
Tuesday, January 26th - The moon trines Venus early this morning. Independent work and study are favored today. Relationships flourish for Virgo, Capricorn, Taurus and those with their Venus in one of those signs. That is not to say that others can't tap into this energy... it is available to anyone who wishes to make use of it. Support those around you and give love today with little to no expectation.
The moon opposes Neptune and sextiles Mars this evening. Exercise, stay active and aware. It may be challenging for some to consider others' feelings. Bluntness could cause issues. Don't take things too personally tonight, if you can help it. The energy is very direct, and most don't mean to injure.
Wednesday, January 27th - This morning, the Virgo moon squares Saturn, trines Mercury and Pluto and opposes Chiron. It is an active, busy morning, but it may be hard to cooperate with others and undertake challenges. Conversation and communication is boosted but responsibilities are avoided throughout the day. It is a better time for enjoying yourself, rather than getting work done.
Tonight the moon conjuncts the North Node and Jupiter. Emotions swell and intensify. You may get wrapped up in something that's very important to you. It is Virgo's time to collect the rewards they have been working so hard for in the past month or two.
The moon moves void of course at 7:11pm EST tonight. The evening is a good time to socialize or spend time acquiring information in a field that interests you.
Thursday, January 28th - We exit the void at 9:59am EST as the moon enters Libra. Today is a cooperative sort of day that should be fairly straightforward and easy to navigate. Consider having important discussions today, as many will be more open-minded and cordial.
The moon squares Venus later tonight, the only major aspect today. Be careful not to compromise too much. It may be easy to get swept up into others' plans tonight, but being clear about your wishes shouldn't create as many waves as imagined.
