Monday, January 25th ~ The moon is void of course from 2:17am EST until 1:52pm EST when it enters the sign of its domicile, Cancer. The day is off to a slower start; we may feel frustrated by our lack of inactivity. The emotional realm opens up to us once the moon enters Cancer. The Sun is in sextile to Chiron today, perfecting at 5:28am EST but palpable all day long. We find healing comes through rest and listening intently to our bodies and their needs. Venus sextiles asteroid Ceres today, which further strengthens this concept. Eating healthy, drinking lots of water, and other healthful intentions will go a long way today.

Tuesday, January 26th ~ The moon is in Cancer all day, amping up our sensitivity. We may feel particularly tender and nostalgic. The Sun is square Uranus today, perfecting at 7:47am EST but noticeable throughout the whole day and night. Don't let surprises throw you too far off course. Things are unlikely to go as planned. Neptune is squaring the North Node, which can make us feel confused about the direction we are moving in. Looking for guidance outside will likely yield more confusion today. Much of the answers come from finding our center and getting in tune with our own internal rhythm. Follow your gut and intuition as much as possible.

Wednesday, January 27th ~ Today is a pretty slow, gentle day in the cosmos. This is good as we are preparing for tomorrow's Full Wolf Moon in Leo. We can think of the Full Moon as the end of a gestation period. We will need our minds and bodies rested for the upcoming transformation. More on the Full Moon tomorrow... as for today, the Cancer moon moves void of course at 12:55pm until 9:54pm EST when it shifts into Leo. You might wish to retreat into your safe crab shell for much of the day, seeking out sanctuary where you can find it. Once the moon enters Leo we are that much closer to the perfection of the Full Moon. Think back to August 18th, 2020, the Leo New Moon. The intentions planted on that day will be sprouting tomorrow. Often the Leo moon cycle brings creative ideas, shifts in how we present ourselves to others, and wishes relating to children or animals.

Thursday, January 28th ~ Today the moon is in Leo all day, and reaches Full Moon perfection at 2:16pm EST. This Full Moon in Leo is intimately connected to the New Moon in Leo back on August 18th, 2020. The desires or intentions you held on that day are beginning to take form now. It is a good day for creative expression, public announcements and making who you are crystal clear to others. This moon is named the Wolf Moon, after the hungry wolves who would howl in the freezing winter outside Native American villages. It is a good reminder to share our resources with others; consider donating time or money to causes that help those experiencing hunger or lack of shelter. Other aspects for today include Venus and Pluto meeting in conjunction in Capricorn at 11:17am EST, the Sun entering into a conjunction with Jupiter in Aquarius at 8:39pm EST and asteroid Sappho entering Capricorn. This is truly a day for expansion and moving beyond limits, whether they are those placed upon us by outside sources or those we put on ourselves. We may wish to be totally honest with others, either in the context of a relationship or through creative expression that is true to our spirit.

Friday, January 29th ~ Today is a quiet, uneventful day in the cosmos. Take a breath and enjoy the break; maybe check in on your own astrological transits to see what is going on for you personally without the constant hum of the planets forming aspects to each other. The moon is in Leo all day, and moves void at 8:53pm EST through the end of the day. When the moon is in Leo we often feel our emotions in dramatic ways and may have a hard time hiding them from others. Creative expression feels positive and uplifting. See what you are able to make without the heavy weight of expectation. Tomorrow Mercury retrograde begins, so wrap up any paperwork before then and back up your files if at all possible.

Saturday, January 30th ~ The moon is void for the early hours of the day until it enters Virgo at 3:03am EST. The big news of the day is Mercury stationing retrograde, beginning at 10:52am EST. Mercury begins its retrograde at 26 degrees Aquarius, and will retrace its journey back to 11 degrees Aquarius, ending on February 20th. As this Mercury retrograde is in Aquarius, it is likely to impact technology more than some of the others we've experienced. It is a good idea to back up data and double check anything being sent digitally before it flies into the cloud. We are now at the fourth and final phase of the Mercury cycle we began on October 25th, 2020. Over the next ten days as we build up to the interior Mercury cazimi (or Sun/Mercury conjunction happening on February 9th) we are contemplating and introspecting over the ideas and energy we've developed and worked on since October. February 9th kicks off a new three month Mercury cycle... more on that later.

Sunday, January 31st ~ Today the Moon is in Virgo all day long. We could enjoy working on fine, detailed projects, or doing things that simplify and beautify our lives. Yesterday asteroid Eros entered Sagittarius. Now that Eros is here in this sign, we are likely to feel more expressive and romantically adventurous. Asteroid Pallas enters a trine with the North Node today, creating powerful currents of ideas which can open up many possibilities for us down the line. You may not see everything playing out, but know that the things which occur today are like glittering butterfly wings that are initiating a series of deliberate action. Trust in the process.
