Monday, March 1st ~ Today the moon is in Libra all day, suggesting we may naturally seek out emotional harmony and balance in our relationships. It is a relatively simple day astrologically. Asteroids Eros and Juno move into conjunction with one another at 19 degrees Sagittarius. Eros is the asteroid that rules over sex and sensuality, and Juno rules over marriage and commitment. When these two join up we may desire to take relationships to the next level, or find that it is difficult to separate sex and love. As these two are currently in Sagittarius, there is an emphasis on balancing freedom and joy with commitment. We may be more likely to commit or deepen our level of commitment to others when we feel a sense of freedom in the relationship. This could be true of romantic relationships, business partnerships, and even friendships over the next few days.
Tuesday, March 2nd ~ The moon begins in Libra today, moves void at 9:09am and later enters Scorpio at 3:39pm EST. The first half of the day is quite social in nature. It is likely we'll enjoy talking with others, connecting, and may prefer this to getting work done during the moon's void. Once the moon ingresses Scorpio we may find it easier to focus on what needs to be accomplished. Mercury is in trine to the North Node at 2:08pm EST, a repeat of a transit from a week or two ago as Mercury retraces its steps following the end of its retrograde. This transit tends to connect us with opportunities and people who can further us on our karmic path. Pay attention to the messages or contacts you receive today, if any, or the people who cross your mind throughout the day. The Eros/Juno conjunction which began yesterday rolls on through tomorrow, suggesting we will likely take our relationships quite seriously and could feel a deep sense of loyalty to friends, family, and even business associates.
Wednesday, March 3rd ~ The moon is in Scorpio all day. We are likely to experience deep feelings today, but may have trouble sharing these or even finding the words to express them. It may be enough to simply explore the sensations on your own for the time being. Venus and Uranus move into sextile at 12:08pm EST, which is a gentle aspect that brings necessary shifts in relationships. This aspect can bring playful energy into relationships that shakes up stagnancy and those who feel in a rut. At 10:29pm EST, Mars enters Gemini, where it will be until April 24th. Mars in Gemini gives our minds a boost. Energy and aggression, two areas Mars rules over, are expressed more in debate format than outright sparring. You may notice people playing devil's advocate a lot over the next few weeks, just to stir the pot or satisfy some curiosity. Mars in Gemini is not blatantly intense or aggressive, so in some ways anger may soften over the next month. It becomes easier to look at things from a more mental or logical perspective. However, those who are more sensitive may find this unpleasant as it lacks warmth and reassurance. The best way to navigate this energy is to remain curious and talk through the things that bother you to gather more information, and go from there.
Thursday, March 4th ~ The Scorpio moon is void of course from 11:10am to 5:43pm EST, as it enters Sagittarius. The energy of the morning and afternoon is quite inward and antisocial. You may wish to go inside yourself and have a more private experience of the day. Talking to others or needing to interact might be overwhelming. If you are required to do so, consider carrying a stone like labradorite which acts as a kind of psychic shield. You can also just envision a sort of golden egg around you if you don't have this crystal or if you are more of a visual person. Once the moon enters Sagittarius the need for this really goes away, and you might notice you suddenly feel more like sharing and conversing. Mercury and Jupiter move into conjunction with each other in Aquarius at 10:24pm EST this evening. This is a very expressive, communicative aspect that is great for writers and storytellers. It allows ideas to come out with ease in ways that draw the listener or reader in.
Friday, March 5th ~ The moon is in Sagittarius all day, spinning endless curiosity and a need to not only seek knowledge but to experience it directly. We move in the direction of expansion internally. When the moon is in Sagittarius it can be more challenging to work with emotion as the overall preference is to keep things light and full of possibility. The Sun squares the North Node of the moon at 12:29pm EST. In some ways this contrasts the Sagittarius moon, as this transit can make it feel somewhat scary to push out of our comfort zone. However, we are compelled with an almost magnetic attraction to move beyond our perceived limitations and step into the next level of experience. You do not need to give everything up to get there, just your fear.
Saturday, March 6th ~ We reach the Last Quarter Moon in Sagittarius today. Luna wanes on, moving toward next week's New Moon in Pisces. The Last Quarter brings a desire to shed what's stagnating. Those things that are taking up space in our houses, or energetically cluttering our minds... it's time to address them and free yourself. Give yourself the space you need to expand. The moon is void for most of the day, from 4:44am until 9:21pm EST when it enters Capricorn. If you experience any aimlessness today, it can actually be helpful for breaking you out of old routines. It only becomes a problem when it is labeled as such. Neptune moves into a square with asteroid Juno, which rules over marriage and business partnerships. We may find ourselves motivated to bring more spiritual or compassionate truth to these connections. If we are unable to connect on a spiritual level in close relationships, it can feel especially noticeable over the course of the weekend.
Sunday, March 7th ~ The moon is in Capricorn all day, and the Neptune/Juno square from yesterday rolls on. A Capricorn moon holds the emotions tight to the chest. It's not that they aren't felt, just that they can be set aside to complete the tasks at hand. We can feel driven to connect with others today through work and activity. Combining our efforts with that of those around us can feel particularly satisfying. Asteroid Psyche conjuncts the North Node of the moon today, pulling us into uncharted mental terrain. We could have unusual ways of problem solving, trouble shooting, and analyzing data today. On first glance it might seem to make no sense to someone looking in, but ultimately this transit sharpens and hones the mind to propel us forward.
