Weekly Forecast: 3/15/21 through 3/21/21

Monday, March 15th ~ Today the moon is in Aries all day long. We could feel more intrigued by new ideas and projects and prefer to put our attention into what is possible rather than focusing on loose ends that need to be tied up. Mercury enters Pisces this evening at 6:25pm EST, where it will be until April 3rd. When Mercury is in the sign of the fish, we tend to be more sensitive to others' intentions and underlying feelings. It is easier to pay attention to the tone and subtleties behind words rather than just listening to the logical meaning on the surface. This can create a sort of subtle telepathy for those who are sensitive. We may find we merge with others through the sharing of thoughts and ideas in this unspoken realm. The moon moves void of course at 11:40pm EST where it will be until tomorrow morning.

Tuesday, March 16th ~ The moon is void in Aries until 6:56am EST when it enters Taurus. The energy today is good for grounding into a project. Interruptions might be rather annoying and multi-tasking will be out of the question for most. The Sun sextiles Pluto at 2:25pm EST but this is palpable all day long. This transit lends its energy to our laser focus. You can really zero in on things today, seeing beneath the surface. With the Sun in Pisces at present, much of this is likely intuitive. The process may not make sense to someone looking in. Progress is made through steady and inspired work.

Wednesday, March 17th ~ Today is a good day for healing work. The moon is in Taurus all day, and you may find you wish to stay close to home or in a comfortable, cozy place. Mars sextiles Chiron at 11:34pm EST but we feel the build up as early as this morning. This transit is wonderful for healing the physical body and restoring energy. It's a good idea to listen to the needs of your body. Rest up, get some exercise, eat a delicious and nutritious meal, or do whatever you feel will assist you. Generally speaking, laying low is a good idea as the energies today can result in burn out if you push yourself too hard.

Thursday, March 18th ~ We begin with the moon in Taurus. The day starts off with exalted Venus energies. You may notice your attention to beauty and your environment is heightened. You could enjoy redecorating, cleaning your space, dressing up, or going shopping for something new. Venus sextiles Pluto at 1:19pm EST which gives us great focus for artistic projects. This is an ideal aspect for detailed work like painting, drawing, or other creative pursuits. The moon is void of course from 4:40pm until 7:47pm EST when it enters Gemini. During that three hour window you might benefit from a nap or quiet time to reset. Our minds come alive in the evening and curiosity opens up new doors. Mercury conjuncts asteroid Pallas today, which can result in some tremendous insights. The creative spark is ablaze with light on this day.

Friday, March 19th ~ Today is extremely uneventful astrologically. The moon is in Gemini all day and we have no major or minor aspects. In some ways this is a nice break. I always advise to check in on your own personal transits when we have these clean slate days. It's easier to feel your own natal transits when there aren't conflicting energies going on in the skies. It's a good day for socializing, sharing ideas, studying, and soaking up information which delights and enchants you.

Saturday, March 20th ~ Happy Equinox! We enter the spring season in the northern hemisphere, and our friends in the southern hemisphere begin their autumn. The exact time of the equinox is 5:37am EST, as the Sun enters Aries. Blessed Aries season to you! We kick off the astrological new year with the fresh energy of the pioneering ram. The moon is in Gemini all day, which plays nicely with the new Aries sun. This sextile makes us feel more optimistic, but perhaps a little restless. There are a couple asteroid aspects which begin today: Saturn sextile Ceres, and Venus square Eros. Saturn sextile Ceres lasts for the next few days and is a great aspect for gardening and working with plants and animals. Venus square Eros will ignite our passion and fills many with a strong desire. This is a magnetic aspect oozing sex appeal. Overall the energy is quite high today as we begin this new zodiacal chapter.

Sunday, March 21st ~ Today is a big day astrologically, with a lot going on in the sky. We start with the moon in Gemini, which is great for learning things in our dreams. The moon is void of course for a very brief window from 8:04am until 8:18am EST when it enters its ruling sign of Cancer. The morning and afternoon are sort of domestic and nurturing. We might enjoy doting on others, cooking, cleaning our home, or other activities that have a sense of family or community tied to them. At 10:15am EST, Venus enters Aries, where it will be until April 14th. Venus in Aries carries a lot of physical attraction and impulsiveness. Subtlety in romance may go unnoticed during this time. The asteroid aspects from yesterday roll on; Saturn sextile Ceres makes us enjoy time spent working with plants and animals, while Venus square Eros can make us romantically amped up and in need of physical contact. With the Cancer moon this can result in some feeling a bit needy or clingy. Later in the day, Mercury sextiles Uranus at 7:33pm EST, resulting in exciting ideas. It's a good evening for clearing away writer's block or other creative barriers. Mars trines Saturn at 10:34pm EST, which slows down our energy a bit. This is a helpful aspect for those who have been feeling scattered or drained, as it allows us to focus more and see what areas we should expend our energy on and which we should retreat from. We will feel this aspect into tomorrow as well. If that wasn't enough, it's the First Quarter Moon in Cancer, with the moon and the sun forming a perfect square. There's so much happening today that you could maybe feel overwhelmed. Meditate, take a walk, or carry a grounding stone such as jasper or agate if you're feeling out of sorts.
