Monday, March 22nd ~ Today the moon is in Cancer all day; we seek out emotional security but may find the ground a bit shaky there. Asteroid Eros sits at the 29th degree of Sagittarius. Any planet at the 29th degree carries an added weight or intensity to its usual mythos. Desire and focus upon sexuality are strong themes of the day. Anger could result from repressed feelings. With the moon expressing itself in the sign it rules over, emotions are felt quite deeply. It could be a moody day. Relief comes in the form of physical exercise - dance, sports, sex, and movement of all sorts.
Tuesday, March 23rd ~ The moon is in Cancer for much of the day, becoming void at 11:26am EST where it will stay until 5:57pm EST when it enters Leo. You may find that you need some time to recharge today. Emotions were likely felt pretty intensely over the past few days. Whether good, bad, or somewhere in between, it is recommended that you take some time and retreat to reset and find your balance. Once the moon turns over to Leo's domain in the evening, you are apt to feel more social and magnanimous. Mercury and Mars meet in square tonight at 11:25pm EST, the verbal sparring transit. We may find others somewhat argumentative as the day darkens and slips into night. Debate might actually be fun; you could find yourself having a great time taking a side and duking it out with someone even if you are not usually that kind of person. Asteroid Eros enters Capricorn today, giving us an earthy, stabile container for romance and sex. It will be here in the cardinal earth sign until September 26th. Many prefer straight to the point interactions with romantic partners during Eros' transit through Capricorn; game playing and misdirection become real turn-offs.
Wednesday, March 24th ~ Today we get a little celestial break. There are no major or minor aspects occurring today, and the moon is in the sign of Leo - traditionally the Sun's domain. When the moon is in Leo it is somewhat easier to look on the bright side and feel as though the universe is conspiring in your favor. We may feel more social and want to express ourselves creatively today. Check in on your own transits or pull a tarot or oracle card for yourself.
Thursday, March 25th ~ The moon is in Leo for the majority of today, and is void for most of the day as well. The void of course period begins at 9:27am EST and goes until 11:26pm EST when the moon enters Virgo. We may enjoy avoiding work or responsibility in favor of indulging the inner child. Playfulness, creativity, and relaxation take precedence. Mercury is squaring the North Node today (perfecting at 1:49am EST) which can make us feel like disconnecting from communication and the flow of information. It can all seem rather tedious. You may find your attention span is shorter, and that you only feel like paying attention to fun-seeming tasks or adventures.
Friday, March 26th ~ The moon is in Virgo all day and we suddenly get hit with a burst of energy to organize and pick up the slack from yesterday's kind of whimsical, lackadaisical day. It feels enjoyable to work and get things in order, thanks to the Sun/Venus conjunction perfecting at 2:57am EST and Mars/North Node conjunction at 11:33am EST. Our eye for detail will be sharply honed and we'll enjoy making things look and feel more beautiful. Creativity abounds; however, creative tasks that give a sense of accomplishment will be favored. The Mars/North Node conjunction in Gemini wakes up our brain like a cup of coffee. Sparks fly and synapses fire. You may find ideas coming in lightning fast and yet you seem to have the physical energy to handle them. Stamina increases and we dive into ideas as fast as they come.
Saturday, March 27th ~ The moon is in Virgo all day. You may enjoy getting things organized and in order. Emotional processes are sorted and filed. Simplicity and serenity are sought out today. We look for ways to make things easier for ourselves later on by doing the work now. The separating Mars/North Node conjunction can still be felt, and continues to light up all areas of the brain. Sparks of ideas shower down, and we feel compelled to jump in head first. At 7:48pm EST the moon moves void of course and we may finally feel like taking it easy, but still could find it hard to power down as we build toward tomorrow's Full Moon in Libra.
Sunday, March 28th ~ The moon is void in Virgo until 1:23am EST when it enters Libra. The Full Moon in Libra perfects this afternoon at 2:48pm EST. This Full Moon is in the culmination of the macro moon cycle which began on October 16th. Much of the Libran moon cycle centers around relationships and romantic partnerships, but can also extend to close friendships and business partnerships. What were you hoping to invite in back in October? What were you hoping to release? Today's Full Moon brings the seeds of change and allows you to see in a measurable way how far you have come since then. Venus is conjunct Chiron today, perfecting at 12:27pm EST which feeds this Full Moon and expands it even more. The Venus/Chiron contact invites us to do deep healing through relationships and through our relationship to the sacred creativity within us. You may do healing work with another person today, or else you may be compelled to create something that allows stuck energy to move inside yourself.
