Monday, March 29th ~ Today the moon is in Libra all day, still in its bright phase. Today we aim to seek balance but the mental process might be somewhat dreamlike and thick. The Sun is conjunct Chiron (perfecting at 4:08am EST but felt all day), which creates a strong need to heal and align the ego with the soul's true intention. This can either feel joyful or painful depending on your perspective. Mercury and Neptune meet in conjunction in the glittering Piscean waters tonight at 11:22pm EST, which casts a symbolic sort of film over the day. It could be easier to think in terms of archetypes and dream logic than in rational, linear ways. Much of the work of today is letting go and releasing and seeing what arises from this. The moon moves void tonight at 8:08pm EST, where it will be until tomorrow very early in the morning. The evening is good for meditation or similar exploration of the inner landscape.
Tuesday, March 30th ~ The moon is void of course from last night until 1:34am EST this morning, when it enters the dark waters of Scorpio. The Scorpion moon is private and secluded, a deep grotto in the furthest sea. We may feel a bit protective of our inner world today, and more hesitant to share things of an emotional nature. Asteroid Psyche squares the Mercury/Neptune conjunction which is breaking apart; this can create some confusion in the mental realm. Today is extremely heavy with the water element. Planning and organizing may need to go out the window in favor of seeing where you are guided by the current. Venus sextiles Saturn (exact at 11:46am EST) which provides a bit of grounding, or an oar for steering as you maneuver these waters. It is easier to guide yourself by emotions today than by concepts of productivity or similar left-brain concerns.
Wednesday, March 31st ~ The moon is in Scorpio all day, though slightly less introverted than yesterday. We turn the Scorpion powers of observation outward and scan the landscape for clues. Venus and the North Node meet in sextile at 1:01pm EST, which aligns us with those who can be of help along the way. You may be surprised at who turns up or who reaches out to you. The Sun and Saturn are in sextile at 5:04pm EST, which allows us to take responsibility for something in our lives. This act is mostly positive, as the sextile brings a gentle current to an otherwise somber planet. The moon moves void of course at 8:29pm EST. Tonight is good for ritual, pulling a card, lighting a candle, or other spiritual practice.
Thursday, April 1st ~ We begin the early hours of the day with a void moon in Scorpio, which ends at 1:59am EST as Luna enters Sagittarius. The moon in Sagittarius seeks emotional freedom and joy. The aspects of the day bring a sense of adventure and anticipation, an April Fool's Day more reminiscent of the childlike wonder of the Fool card than of one who has been pranked or duped. The Sun is sextile the North Node at 9:48pm EST, palpable all day and bringing us into alignment with opportunities. We have the choice today to unlock a karmic door; it is up to us whether we turn the key. Jupiter and asteroid Juno begin a several day sextile, which draws us to relationships that offer us some amount of freedom. This sextile is gentle and yielding and so does not point out instances where this freedom is being denied in existing relationships, but lovingly pushes us in the direction of those who encourage and support us on our path.
Friday, April 2nd ~ The moon is in Sagittarius all day, and yesterday's Jupiter/Juno sextile rolls on. Collectively, the energy is about freedom from stagnancy and pain. We move in the direction of the light. Mercury and Pluto are in sextile today, exact at 2:03am EST. The mind is sharpened and honed and attention to detail is magnified. Observations provide insight and immediate inspiration. You will find endless energy for those projects that bring joy, rather than those that you feel are being forced upon you. Some could fight against perceived impositions on their personal and emotional freedom.
Saturday, April 3rd ~ The moon is void this morning for a brief window, from 1:24am until 4:13am EST when it enters Capricorn. The energy today is very no-nonsense and direct. Clouds lift and clear and you may be able to see all the steps necessary to get where you want to go. Mercury enters Aries tonight at 11:40pm EST, which helps communication happen quicker. There is almost no filter collectively when Mercury is in Aries, and people say whatever is on their mind. It's great for moving energy and getting things done, but those who are more sensitive or who have their Mercury sign in Cancer/Libra/Capricorn could find it a little unnerving. Asteroid Sappho enters Aquarius today, where it will be until November 18th. Sexual freedom and empowerment is a theme for Sappho in Aquarius, as well as finding connection and inspiration through ideas. You may find yourself attracted more to someone's higher ideals than anything else during this time.
Sunday, April 4th ~ The moon is in Capricorn all day, reaching its Last Quarter phase. You may feel a strong desire to shed things today, be they material possessions or more abstract ideas and beliefs. There is a sense of quiet determination today, of wanting to work attentively and yet gradually at something, focusing on each step in turn. Immense satisfaction comes from this for many. Venus enters into a conjunction with Ceres; this is a lovely aspect for feeling a true connection with plants, animals, and mother Earth. You could enjoy being outside in nature or simply spending some time with your house plants. The Jupiter/Juno sextile of the last few days rolls on, and we seek out companions who support us in finding emotional freedom. The big lesson of this transit is understanding that it is possible to commit to others while still expanding in your own personal freedom. Conversely, if someone is not willing to offer you the ability to grow emotionally, than you do not need to uphold that commitment which stifles your capacity to reach toward the light.
