Monday, November 22nd ~ Today is quite a simple day celestially, with the moon in its domicile of Cancer all day. We may feel more emotionally motivated and prefer to connect to people on a deeper level. Protective urges could come out in surprising ways. The moon squares Chiron at 4:19pm and later sextiles Uranus at 10:58pm EST. Some self-consciousness arises this afternoon; there may be an urge to spend time alone away from the prying eyes of others. As evening is in full swing, we desire more freedom and novelty. This impulse pulls us away from dwelling too much on worries or insecurities.
Tuesday, November 23rd ~ We have another full day of the moon in Cancer, providing warmth, tenderness, and an expanded ability to connect to the beauty of nostalgia. The moon opposes Venus at 5:48am and trines Mars at 7:42am EST, giving us a boost of physical energy. Bickering or teasing comes out more this morning, especially among loved ones. Most of it is good-natured but can make some a little prickly. The Sun conjuncts the North Node at 2:02pm EST, an aspect that steers the whole day. Here, we feel ready to embark on a brand new journey. We may realize that there are parts of our life we have outgrown and we no longer resonate with them. Some fear could arise as a result, comingled with equal parts excitement. The last aspect of the day comes at 3:50pm EST when the moon trines Neptune. Our imagination grows and it becomes easier to envision new possibilities. This transit usually keeps us locked in daydreaming territory, but coupled with the Sun/North Node conjunction we are more likely to take solid action alongside our envisioning.
Wednesday, November 24th ~ The moon is in Cancer this morning, opposing Pluto at 12:46am EST and then moving void of course. Jealousy or longing could arise from this aspect, but these energies dissipate fairly quickly and the rest of the day is more positive. Mercury ingresses Sagittarius at 10:36am EST, where it will be until December 13th. Mercury is considered in detriment in this sign; though it does bring some gifts. It makes us more open and ready to share our opinions; communication flows more readily. We are more likely to overshare than to keep things to ourselves. The detriment of Sagittarius has to do with its all-in approach to conversation. Mercury is considered a planet of logic and reason, and Sagittarius really does not care about such order. The moon's void ends at 10:58am as it ingresses Leo, and directly after it trines Mercury at 11:01am EST. The mood becomes more playful and open. In the afternoon, the moon sextiles the North Node at 2:21pm and the moon reaches its Waning Gibbous phase (Sun trine Moon) at 4:34pm EST. These transits bring a sense of gratitude and optimism which carries us through the evening.
Thursday, November 25th ~ The moon is in Leo all day, opposing Saturn at 3:51am and trining Chiron at 4:09am EST. We feel like letting our inner child steer the day. This creates healing and allows for greater self-expression. Taking on too many responsibilities can make us feel somewhat suffocated. The moon squares Uranus at 10:32am EST, which can make some temperamental; rigidity and predictability triggers these feelings. Mercury conjuncts the South Node at 12:24pm EST, enhancing nostalgia. Connecting with people or memories from the past brings comfort. The last aspect of the day comes at 10:19pm EST, as the moon squares Mars. We have difficulty controlling our actions and might be more explosive than usual. The Leo moon embraces drama and wants us to lean into every emotion to feel it as fully as possible.
Friday, November 26th ~ We begin with the moon in Leo, opposing Jupiter at 11:23am EST and then moving void of course for almost 10 hours. Everything feels exaggerated today; emotions are bigger, desires are larger, and many will be insatiable. The big aspect for today is one we've been building up to all week, and will notice through the weekend and into the start of next week. Saturn and Chiron meet in sextile at 8:04pm EST; this is the third and final time this happens in 2021. Despite the frequency of it this year, it hasn't happened since 1973 and won't happen again until 2034. This transit has made healing a focus, along with becoming responsible for healing on both a personal and global level. As Saturn rules over the passage of time, some of this healing work centers around our relationship to and perception of time. Most of the lessons of this transit are learned through solitude and getting to know the self on a deep level. Wisdom comes from experience and personal awareness, and is something that is gained as a reward for time put in. The void period ends tonight at 9:11pm EST as the moon ingresses Virgo, giving us a more objective view of our emotions. We might enjoy organizing our thoughts or working to center them through meditation or a similar practice.
Saturday, November 27th ~ The moon is in Virgo today, creating a desire for simplicity, organization and growth. The moon squares the North Node at 12:23am EST, which can make us aware of places where we are blocked or stuck. We may focus on these in order to move ahead; keep in mind negative emotions can serve as catalysts to lead us on to the next positive thing. The moon squares Mercury at 5:27am and then enters its Last Quarter (Sun square Moon) at 7:27am EST. Again, we seek to clean up our lives on all levels. Be it cleansing your home, doing an energetic smudge, or organizing your thoughts and priorities, by making room we allow for new things to enter. Tonight the moon and Uranus meet in trine at 7:18pm EST, providing us with new ideas and inspiration.
Sunday, November 28th ~ We have another full day of the moon in Virgo; the mind is active today and seeks out information. Worries are eased by knowledge; be it finding the answers to your quandaries or studying a subject that interests you, the mind is sated by these discoveries. The moon trines Venus at 8:14am, sextiles Mars at 9:36am, and opposes Neptune at 10:49am EST. Cooperation and harmony are important themes today. Working with others to ease tension is a worthwhile cause. Collective action reverberates out across the world. Tonight, the moon trines Pluto at 7:02pm EST and then moves void of course until tomorrow. The more thorough you can be today, the better. Tonight the Sun and Mercury conjunct at 11:39pm EST. This Mercury Cazimi expands knowledge and zaps in sudden insights and genius-level inspiration. The exterior cazimi is like a secret meeting of the minds between the two planetary bodies. With Mercury tucked behind the Sun, it is as far away from the Earth as it can possibly get. Information then, comes down in channeled ways. It is almost beamed down, hitting us in the middle of another activity. The last celestial event of the day occurs as asteroid Eros ingresses Aquarius, where it will be until January 19th. Eros rules over lust and sensual pleasures. Aquarius is very much a sign of the higher mind and is somewhat separated from the body, making this a rather bizarre match. However, we achieve greater pleasure during this interim when we can connect with our desire through the realm of ideas and intellectual inspiration.
