Weekly Forecast: 11/15/21 through 11/21/21

Monday, November 15th ~ Today the moon is in Aries all day, providing us with ample energy and a desire to work independently. The moon sextiles Saturn at 1:59am EST, giving focus and determination to complete projects. Venus and Chiron meet in square at 3:07am EST, an aspect that can be felt all day long. We feel an intense desire to perfect details which we perceive to be flawed. This manifests primarily in relationships, but can also extend to creative projects as well as personal appearance. The moon conjuncts Chiron at 4:01am and squares Venus at 4:06am EST, which adds a level of fierce intensity to correct these imbalances. The Sun and Jupiter square at 2:58pm EST, another transit which lasts all day and evening. This energy exaggerates optimism and makes us feel like we can take on more than we can possibly handle. It does create generosity of spirit, but we have to be careful we don't give more than we are reasonably able to. Finally, asteroid Juno ingresses Capricorn today, where it will be until February 2nd. Juno rules over motherhood and marriage. In Capricorn, Juno expresses in a more traditional way. There may be a desire for more structure in familial relationships. As Capricorn rules over fathers, uniting with Juno we have a picture of a kind of mid-20th century ideal of parenthood. This has a two fold effect: some seek this out, and others find it especially abrasive during this time. To see how it could impact you, check your own Juno sign as well as your Venus sign. Those with air and fire placements here will tend to feel more rebellious while those with earth and water may seek out comfort and familiarity. If you have one of each (Venus in a water sign and Juno in a fire sign, for example) maybe you will oscillate between the two over the next two and a half months.

Tuesday, November 16th ~ Today we begin with the moon in Aries, sextiling Jupiter at 8:55am EST. Energy is high this morning, and we feel excitement in the air. The moon squares Pluto at 10:50am EST and then moves void of course until tonight. Some experience nervousness or a sense of anticipation with no discernable reason behind it. The Sun and Pluto meet in sextile at 4:01pm EST, though this is palpable throughout the whole day. The Plutonian vibrations meeting with the Sun and moon give a desire to see below the surface. We wish for more omniscience in our interactions and want to dig deeper to have all the information. Some will eavesdrop or feel especially nosy. The void of course period lasts until 9:17pm EST as the moon ingresses Taurus, which makes us feel more grounded and connected to our homes. Stubbornness arises when we feel forced to pull out of our comfort zones tonight.

Wednesday, November 17th ~ The moon is in Taurus all day, and digs in its proverbial heels. The energy for the day reminds me of a horse that refuses to move, no matter who tries to lead or guide it somewhere. Mars and Uranus are in opposition at 12:23pm EST, and we have been feeling this since yesterday and will continue to experience it through tomorrow. Arguments arise over somewhat pointless seeming subjects; people will cling to preferences as inconsequential seeming as their favorite flavor of ice cream until it turns into an all out explosion. This aspect is also known for being accident prone, mainly because people are guided by instincts rather than logic and patience. The moon squares Saturn at 1:19pm EST, which creates frustrations with having to focus and do work. The aspects for this evening are not much easier, honestly. The moon trines Venus at 7:38pm, which is the one pleasant aspect which brings a desire for socialization and harmonizing with others. Then the moon conjuncts Uranus at 9:44pm and opposes Mars at 10:20pm EST, throwing itself into the mix. Suddenly our emotions are brought into the sparring. It's very important to take a moment to breathe; if someone aggravates you take a moment before responding. In general, giving ourselves space to process is the best course of action today. Finally, asteroid Vesta ingresses Sagittarius, where it will be until January 12th. Vesta rules over the domestic sphere: our home and those with whom we reside. Over the next two months we find ourselves wanting to bring more fun and play into our home. We may want to take a trip or shake up the routine in some manner. Redecorating or rearranging furniture also brings satisfaction.

Thursday, November 18th ~ The moon is in Taurus for another full day, building up to tomorrow's Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse. The energy for the day is highly charged, somewhat dusted with a sensation of destiny. Some experience residual crankiness from the Mars/Uranus opposition we are coming down from. Mercury and Neptune meet in trine this morning at 10:37am EST, a pleasant aspect which enhances imagination and theoretical thinking. It is easy to brainstorm and discuss fantastical topics with others. The moon then sextiles Neptune at 2:13pm and opposes Mercury at 2:47pm EST. It's almost like another reality gets overlaid on top of this one for about an hour. We see an alternate viewpoint or pathway play out. Tonight the moon squares Jupiter at 9:22pm and trines Pluto at 10:57pm EST. Our attention is pulled in multiple directions; we wish to be everywhere at once. This could either be very inspiring or somewhat distracting. Finally, asteroid Sappho ingresses Pisces today. It will be here until January 17th. Sappho rules over poetry, vulnerability as a form of strength, and the LGBTQ+ community. The asteroid is very much at home here in Pisces. We may notice over the next two months that we feel more poetically inclined or seek to express ourselves in more abstract ways. Fantasy and imagination play a large part in the arc we enter into collectively today. If we can envision it, we can bring it to fruition.

Friday, November 19th ~ This powerful celestial day kicks off with Venus and Uranus trining one another at 1:07am EST. We are attracted to unusual ways of thinking and creating; relationships which allow room for surprises and uniqueness are celebrated. The Full Moon in Taurus perfects at 3:57am EST before moving void of course; the Lunar Eclipse follows a few minutes later at 4:02am. This is a sensual Full Moon that desires expression through the body. Experiencing things through all five senses will bring more satisfaction than theory or simply daydreaming. The partial Lunar Eclipse can be felt in the body; emotions manifest as physical ecstasies or stagnation. This is the longest Lunar Eclipse so far this century, and provides ample energy for manifestation of tangible, material shifts. We will be in the eclipse portal until December 4th, making this a potent time for spellwork and setting of intentions. You can hear more about this eclipse and the upcoming Solar Eclipse in the most recent episode of the podcast I co-host, Pisces Rising. The void of course moon ends at 9:32am EST when the moon ingresses Gemini. The only other major transit for today comes as the moon conjuncts the North Node at 12:59pm EST. We have the rest of the evening off to ride the heightened vibrations of this Full Beaver Moon. We align with our higher calling. The best way to bring about shifts is to feel them in your body; imagine how your body would feel if this thing were in your life, in your every day experience. Sit with the sensation. The evening brings curiosity and a desire to socialize.

Saturday, November 20th ~ We have the moon in intellectual Gemini all day, meaning we prefer to talk out our emotions from a logical standpoint. Theory and banter feel more fun than deep, heavy emotional expunging. The moon trines Saturn at 2:12am and sextiles Chiron at 3:27am EST. These transits allow us to get lost in a single task and bring increased self-confidence through connecting with our higher inspiration. Tonight, Mercury and Jupiter meet in square at 6:42pm EST. This combined with the Gemini moon makes many feel especially talkative. We will probably overshare; some could feel drawn to gossip. Either way, the second half of the day is quite social and brings a need to bounce our energy off another's.

Sunday, November 21st ~ Today we begin the day with the moon in Gemini, squaring Neptune at 3:05am EST. The Sun is at 29 degrees Scorpio, and we feel charged, like electricity is flying through the air. We could feel impatient or restless; maybe we even had a hard time sleeping. Mercury and Pluto sextile each other at 4:13am EST, giving us a need to understand things from all angles. This combination of aspects is kind of like a child who keeps asking "Why?" after everything an adult says. We want to know it all! The moon trines Jupiter at 10:51am EST before moving void of course. Ultimately this is an optimistic sort of day that could see many wanting to go on an adventure. The Sun enters Sagittarius at 9:33pm EST, officially kicking off Sagittarius season. The sign of mutable fire brings expansion, celebration, and perhaps some overindulgence. We seek freedom and the dissolution of borders and boundaries. The void period ends at 10:32pm EST as the moon enters Cancer, expanding emotions and bringing a desire to connect with loved ones.
