Weekly Forecast: 11/8/21 through 11/14/21

Monday, November 8th ~ Today the moon is in Capricorn all day, providing stable footing as we ascend toward our goals and ambitions. The moon conjuncts Venus at 12:18am and then sextiles Mercury at 2:12am EST. These transits allow for greater emotional harmony and a desire to express our inner thoughts with others. The moon continues its busy day by sextiling Mars at 5:48am and squaring Chiron at 11:04am EST. We find satisfaction through building brick by brick today, laying a solid foundation that will serve us later. Theoretical or intangible healing doesn't carry the same joy today; we will want progress we can physically see. The moon trines Uranus at 4:47pm EST, the last major transit of the day. Creative ways of thinking carry us forth. Asteroid Pallas stations direct today after being retrograde since July 15th. Pallas rules over the higher creative mind and channeled inspiration. During the retrograde, we probably felt called to wrap up outstanding projects and to return to our past ideas. As the asteroid moves direct at 9 degrees Pisces, we move to incorporate new, fresh insights that come in an intuitive, automatic manner.

Tuesday, November 9th ~ The day begins with the moon in Capricorn, sextiling the Sun and entering its Waxing Crescent phase at 12:06am EST. We are now officially out of the dark moon phase. As light begins to enter the night sky, we find sparks of inspiration twinkling in our mind's eye. We begin to envision our hopes and desires for this next cycle. The moon sextiles Neptune at 6:00am EST, bringing increased imagination. This is a helpful set of alignments for holding fast to a vision and not being dissuaded by setbacks. At 12:51pm EST the moon conjuncts Pluto and then moves void of course until later tonight. Our focus becomes more intense and our ability to achieve a personal goal increases. At 10:03pm EST the moon ingresses Aquarius, and turns our attention more to the collective. We may dream about changes we wish to see in the world for the betterment of all beings.

Wednesday, November 10th ~ Today is the busiest day in the cosmos that we will have all week. The moon is in Aquarius, allowing us to detach from intense emotions and view things from a bird's eye position. The moon trines the North Node at 1:07am EST, aligning us with karmic purpose and destiny. Guidance is available for those who seek it today. Mercury enters into a conjunction with Mars at 7:56am EST, palpable all throughout the morning and afternoon. This is an intense transit that brings a marked need to share ideas and to communicate with others. The messenger god is spurred into action and seeks to deliver news to others. Communication blocks open up; you may hear from someone you have been waiting on for a while. The moon squares Mars at 10:54am, squares Mercury at 11:08am and then conjuncts Saturn at 11:14am EST. These three back-to-back transits may create a sense of frustration or restlessness. Distractions feel particularly annoying during this hour. Mercury and Saturn then meet in square at 12:03pm EST; we feel a need to take responsibility for fixing a mistake or problem, possibly even one we did not create. Cleaning up another's mess may bring up some resentment, or at the very least pull us away from something we'd rather be doing. Later, the moon sextiles Chiron at 1:44pm EST which allows for some healing energy to enter. Still, there is more! Tonight, Mars and Saturn meet in exact square at 6:13pm EST, but this aspect casts its vibration over the whole day and night. This slows down outward progress and makes it vital to double check work. "Slow and steady wins the race" might be the motto of this transit. The Aquarian moon does not like to go at such a tedious pace, but zipping through things makes more problems in the end. Finally, the moon squares Uranus at 7:45pm EST to close out the day's wild ride. While it may feel counterintuitive to focus and put all your energy into one container tonight, it is truly the best way to ride this celestial wave. Tomorrow will be more freeform and futuristic with more room to play.

Thursday, November 11th ~ We have the moon in Aquarius all day on this 11/11, squaring the Sun and initiating the First Quarter at 7:46am EST. This serves as a catalyst that gets us moving toward our current vision or goal. Today's energy is more playful and free than yesterday's, and the Aquarian moon revels in such unhampered expression. The moon conjuncts Jupiter at 2:52pm EST before moving void of course until tomorrow; this is the last aspect of the day. We feel expansive and adventurous and enter unexplored terrain. Today is almost like a 'free space' on a board game. Enjoy!

Friday, November 12th ~ The Aquarian moon ingresses Pisces at 2:53am EST, casting a dreamy glow over the day. The moon then squares the nodes of the moon at 6:09am EST. Outward progress is blocked a bit until nighttime. We prefer to float untethered in the astral waters of Pisces, rather than working on substantial things here in the physical plane. The Sun and Neptune trine at 11:23am EST, but we feel this all day long. This expands imagination and sensitivity, and opens our heart up to feel loving compassion on a deeper level. The moon sextiles Venus at 3:17pm EST, a positive aspect for love relationships. We may feel a need to create something beautiful or adorn ourselves with something that makes us feel radiant. The moon trines Mars at 7:28pm EST, which allows for more outward action and progress. Minor planet Ixion ingresses Capricorn today. Ixion rules over the rebellious and all those who thwart societal acceptance and the status quo. Ixion is not quite at home in Capricorn, who is more traditional and security based. The planetoid was here earlier this year, but briefly retrograded back into Sagittarius for the summer and fall. Ixion moves extremely slow and will be here for the foreseeable future (my ephemeris goes up to 2036 and Ixion is still in Capricorn then!). We will likely see major shifts in the economic sector during this next generation. Rebellion against financial institutions is a given. Perhaps this will lead to a redistribution of wealth and economy.

Saturday, November 13th ~ We have the moon in Pisces all day, trining Mercury at 12:22am and sextiling Uranus at 1:43am EST. This is a lovely set of aspects for creative folks who enjoy writing, art, and the like. The influence of Mercury allows for greater expression while Uranus provides fresh insight and new ideas. Mercury and Uranus then oppose each other at 10:56am EST; this strengthens this energy even more. We seek out the new and unexplored today. This transit can create some arguments or just off-the-wall social interactions that make little sense and then are forgotten as soon as they happen. The moon conjuncts Neptune at 4:45pm EST, strengthening the Pisces vibrations. We may feel more intuitive and spiritually connected. The Sun and Moon meet in trine tonight at 7:18pm EST, and the moon enters its Waxing Gibbous phase, building up to next week's Full Moon. This creates a sense of optimism and excitement. All of today's energy is quite exciting, but can lead to some out of character choices. When Neptune and Uranus are this strong, our judgment is not always the best. Consider holding off on doing anything that could alter the course of your life until tomorrow, or at least get a second opinion from someone unbiased.

Sunday, November 14th ~ The Pisces moon sextiles Pluto at 12:40am EST and then moves void of course until late morning. Some may do extensive dream work, solving life problems in their sleep. We may or may not remember this upon waking. The void moon gives the morning a slow start; sleeping in or having a relaxing morning is suggested. The moon ingresses Aries at 10:48am EST, and then the energy starts to pick up. The Aries moon sextiles the North Node at 2:09pm EST, which gives us a boost to work toward something. There are no other major transits today, but the Aries moon provides a strong pull toward starting a new project or utilizing the creative fire in some other manner.
