Monday, December 6th ~ The moon is in Capricorn all day, creating a desire to steadily move in the direction of our ambitions. The moon trines Uranus at 12:55am EST, which causes significant shifts in the emotional landscape. Mars and Pluto meet in sextile at 6:41am EST, though the reverberations from this aspect continue to be felt well into the next couple days. This is the gentlest unfolding of these two planets' combined energies, though even this is quite intense. We feel obsessively pulled toward action and feel a strong need for things to be worked out in our favor. We may try our best to gain the upper hand or exhibit some measure of control. It becomes possible to envision great things for ourselves and humanity as a whole. The moon trines the North Node at 9:33am EST, suggesting we feel a pull toward soul work. Your personal mission is different from everyone else's; around this time you may feel more clarity about what that looks like for you. Mercury and Neptune square at 10:15am EST; it is easy to get lost in the imagination and daydreams. This is only a problem if we are being forced to act logically at work, school, or the like. The realm of daydreams is an important building place where realities are forged in the mind before they come to fruition in life. The moon sextiles Chiron tonight at 8:55pm and conjuncts Saturn at 10:42pm EST. We may feel more serious tonight and enjoy time alone or in quiet company.
Wednesday, December 8th ~ We have the moon in Aquarius all day today, expanding vision and our view of objective reality. Mars and Jupiter meet in square this morning at 1:21am EST, though this aspect will be felt through the end of the week. This is a mostly positive feeling aspect. Despite the square, the planets work together to pump up energy and enthusiasm to leave us feeling jazzed and ready for action. We may feel more bold and courageous. The main downside of this aspect is that it requires an outlet. If you try to stifle your excitement it can turn into anger and frustration. The moon squares Uranus at 2am and sextiles the Sun at 10:56am EST, entering into its Waxing Crescent phase. Bold and fiery energy rules the day. Impatience will be a common emotion for many. Sleep might be hard to come by, or else we feel extremely lucid and aware in our dreams. The energy for the second half of this week is high and excited and a bit like a child on Christmas Eve. Belief in the seemingly impossible expands and allows us to dream big. The moon squares the North Node at 12:44pm EST, and this is the last aspect of the day. We can easily imagine alternate possibilities, but be careful not to become rooted in them. The square between these two celestial bodies can create confusion and possible illusion if we do not stay grounded.
