The moon opposes Venus at 5:11pm and sextiles Saturn at 7:47pm EST; we could prefer to act independently or take some time for ourselves. This seven hour void period coupled with Neptunian transit before can disconnect us from prescribed reality and open up our minds to other possibilities. Tuesday, July 12th ~ The moon is void of course until 5:01am EST today when it shifts into the sign of Capricorn. Here in the domain of cardinal earth, we feel called to work on something tangible that brings measurable progress. The moon trines Mars at 1:12pm EST, bringing a burst of physical energy and pull to overcome a limitation. You can work with this by setting goals or intentions; tomorrow's full moon will add power to your thoughts. The moon squares Jupiter at 6:07pm EST, which makes some restless and easily bored. These two activate shyness and a desire to protect our thoughts and feelings from others who we perceive will judge us. The catch 22 inherent in this is that by opening up, we release blocks and begin to feel a sense of relief. The key here is to find someone we trust implicitly to speak with, or journal it out if you prefer to go it alone. Venus trines Saturn at 12:27am EST, deepening commitment in relationships. Some romantic partnerships move to the next level, while others feel a bond strengthening in a close friendship or business partnership. We may need to step up and take responsibility for someone we care about. The moon squares Chiron at 6:52am, opposes Mercury at 7:58am, and trines Uranus at 9:41am EST. We will all require more space today, and could easily feel claustrophobic or annoyed by strict scheduling. Give yourself the night off if you can. Mercury sextiles the North Node at 9:36pm EST. This transit allows for more flow in conversation and makes it simpler to share our goals and ideas with other people. If someone is receptive, they are likely in line with your karmic destiny. Friday, July 15th ~ The moon is in airy Aquarius all day, sign of the cosmic water bearer. The moon sextiles Chiron at 6:17am and squares Uranus at 9:15am EST. It is a good day for healing. We are called to get energy work done or to give it to someone else, or maybe book a massage, chiropractic adjustment, beauty treatment, or simply meditate. The moon squares the Nodes at 12:41pm and aligns with Saturn in conjunction at 6:27pm EST. Seriousness increases, but there is a lack of focus at the same time so some of us will easily come across as know-it-alls during this build up of transits. If you need to inform or correct someone, think of why you are doing it. Is it to teach and help them, or to show off your superior intellect? Wording and intention is crucial with Mercury currently in sensitive, gentle Cancer.

This is an uplifted, spiritual love aspect that enhances our ability to see others from an exalted view. We can feel closer to the higher self. The moon enters Pisces at 4:18am EST and increases sensitivity while enhancing intuition. The Sun and Mercury conjunct in Cancer at 3:37pm EST. This Mercury Cazimi is called the genius aspect, as Mercurial gifts of inspiration come down like lightning. You are apt to notice this from 3:07-4:07pm EST. Brainstorm or do some automatic writing and see what you come up with. The moon sextiles Mars at 5:37pm EST, bringing a healthy dose of physical energy. Sunday, July 17th ~ We have the moon in dreamy Pisces all day. Ruled by Neptune, Piscean power is the guiding force of this Sunday. Mercury trines Neptune at 3:52am EST, and later the Sun trines Neptune at 6:55pm EST, though we feel the energy of both for the majority of the day. We feel more liquid-like, almost as though our boundaries are fluid and merging with the energy fields of others. You can easily access your imagination today, and slip away into other realms or daydreams. The moon sexiles Uranus at 11:00am and sextiles the North Node at 2:07pm EST. Many people will be less judgmental today, as it is easier to feel others' emotions and see where they are coming from. Those that cling to judgments today reveal themselves as being stubborn in holding tight to their ego. There is some fear they are unwilling to face. Venus moves into Cancer today at 9:32pm EST, a placement that celebrates true love and romance. Venus will be here in the sign of cardinal water until August 11th.
