Weekly Forecast: 7/4/22 through 7/10/22

Monday, July 4th ~ The moon is in earthy Virgo all day, entering its Waxing Crescent phase at 9:03am EST as it sextiles the Sun. We leave the dark moon phase behind and feel hope and optimism for the future emerge, though we likely feel a need to work humbly and quietly toward the fulfilment of such things. Being overly showy or expressive could feel uncomfortable today. The moon squares Venus at 11:37am and trines Uranus at 7:22pm EST; freedom from oppressive bonds is a motivator throughout this eight hour window. We move away from those who seek to control us and could make sudden decisions which deliver us more space. Some act randomly tonight in ways that could feel out of character. Don't become too attached to plans and you could be pleasantly surprised by how the day unfolds.

Tuesday, July 5th ~ The Virgo moon trines its North Node at 1:17am EST, allowing for personal growth as we move toward individual goals. Mars shifts into Taurus at 2:03am EST, where it will be until August 20th. In Taurus, Mars is stable and secure. We gain energy from spending time in nature and close communion with the Earth. Fixed earth makes Mars more stubborn, and we can easily dig our heels in during this time. It can be harder to get someone to change their mind during this period. Changes come, albeit slowly and gradually. Mercury also changes signs today, entering Cancer at 2:25am EST. This is a very brief Mercury transit, with it only being here until July 19th. Language is dreamlike and poetic; it's a good time to write down feelings, memories, and intuitive prose. With Mercury and Mars in these signs over the next two weeks, conflict is harder to navigate directly. Seek to understand feelings first instead of becoming emotionally reactive. Mercury and Mars meet in sextile at 2:36am EST, increasing mental prowess and the desire to take in new information. We could feel more talkative and expressive. The moon opposes Neptune at 9:45am and trines Pluto at 2:03pm EST before moving void of course for about four and a half hours. It is an imaginative day guided by a strong desire to transform and face a personal truth which then allows us to become more courageous. A clear vision of the path ahead reveals itself. The moon is void until 6:24pm EST when it moves into Libra. It later goes on to square Mercury in Cancer at 9:20pm EST. This brings in more of a social feel and desire for grace in communication. Some will be bothered by roughness, bluntness, or lack of tact. Gentle words are received better during the hours of 8-10pm EST.

Wednesday, July 6th ~ The moon is in breezy Libra all day, turning our attention to harmony and balance in relationships and in our emotional world. The moon opposes Jupiter at 9:12am EST to start the day, which enhances our desire to take on projects and say "yes" to others. Excitement builds and we can feel good about collaboration. Be careful not to overextend yourself too much. Venus and Chiron meet in sextile at 1:17pm EST, which we feel all throughout the day. This allows for deep healing to take place through intimate relationships and through the creative process. Express your thoughts and feelings and see what is able to shake loose and move. The Sun and moon square at 10:14pm EST and bring in the moon's First Quarter phase. This cardinal square is highly stimulating and comes on us like a strong cup of coffee. You could feel amped up and ready to work on something; impatience is likely during the hour leading up to and following this exact transit.

Thursday, July 7th ~ The moon is in Libra, sign of cardinal air, all day. It opposes Chiron at 12:45am and trines Venus at 1:53am EST. These are charged transits which could result in hiding our true feelings as to not offend someone. Consider what the reason behind this is; are you really doing it for them, or are you afraid to let your authentic self be seen? The moon trines Saturn at 3:17pm EST which helps with group work and projects. A lot can be accomplished as a team today. The moon squares Pluto at 9:03pm EST before moving void of course for about four hours. We wish to overcome an oppressive energy, and could feel a strong compulsion to evolve in some way. Being told "no" or that we have to wait could be unacceptable. The moon's void offers a deep period of release and rest until just after 1am tomorrow morning.

Friday, July 8th ~ The moon is void of course until 1:14am EST when it shifts into Scorpio. Here, we notice the mysteries surrounding us and experience a need to understand them on a profound level. The moon opposes Mars at 5:06am EST; this makes some prickly and reactive and makes others feel a need to prove themselves. The Sun squares Chiron at 9:22am EST, though we feel this all day long. Something is not being faced. You may be purposely trying to avoid it, or perhaps it was just overlooked. By addressing this issue, the path is cleared for the old energy to disperse and new energy to come in. The moon trines Mercury at 1:31pm EST, a good transit for deep communication and for expressing oneself through written word. You may also be able to commit more to memory during the hours of 12-2pm EST and access forgotten memories as well.

Saturday, July 9th ~ The moon is in deep oceanic Scorpio all day, allowing for profound understanding of emotions and the need to protect parts of oneself through erecting boundaries. Mercury squares Jupiter at 2:13am EST, which awakens the mind like a jolt of electricity. It can be hard to feel mentally satiated; you might find yourself researching a topic like wild, or find it hard to stop chattering on about something for much of the day. The Sun and moon trine at 7:09am EST and the moon enters its Waxing Gibbous phase. At 75% fullness, the light reflecting on the moon extends to us and supports us in feelings of optimism, faith, and connectedness. The moon opposes Uranus at 8:34am and conjuncts the South Node at 1:27pm EST. This opens up a profound portal to the past, allowing us to see patterns, recognize ancestral memories, and even glimpse pieces of past lives. The moon continues on to square Saturn at 7:04pm and trine Neptune at 8:55pm EST. We long to see things from a higher, more expansive perspective and could resent cold, hard logic. Those that try to frame things logically may run into some reactivity from those they interact with. It is an imaginative evening with a thinner veil than normal. Glimpses of other worlds are possible.

Sunday, July 10th ~ The Scorpio moon sextiles Pluto at 12:34am EST, strengthening the Scorpionic energy twofold. This allows for enhanced perception and observation skills. Judgment softens and allows us to see things from a bigger perspective. The moon is void of course from 12:35am until it enters Sagittarius at 4:34am EST. We could have a hunger to explore today and to break out of dull routines. The Sun and Uranus sextile each other at 4:39am EST, though we feel this transit all day. This allows for inventive thinking, inspired ingenuity, and a need for more space and freedom. Too much structure will likely feel unbearable to most. The moon trines Jupiter later at 6:02pm EST, a good feeling transit which increases hope and positivity, and invites an urge for travel or adventure of some kind, even on a small scale.
