Monday, August 8th ~ The day starts off with the Sagittarius moon sextiling Saturn at 2:11am and squaring Neptune at 6:30am EST. We find our minds wandering into fields of inspiration, but experience the equal pull toward accomplishment and prestige. You may desire more recognition for your work or your effort. The moon is void of course from 6:31am until it enters Capricorn at 2:38pm EST. This void is ideal for being outside and enjoying adventures on one's own, and less favorable for socialization. Once the moon is in Capricorn, we feel more stable and grounded. We build toward a Sun/Chiron trine peaking at 4:00pm EST. This transit invites us to shed limiting beliefs that hinder our self-confidence. You may desire to make some part of your life or self more known, or put yourself out there in some way. Working through shyness and other self-imposed barriers is part of the focus for the week. Today is the Lion's Gate, presenting us with a unique alignment of planets which enhance creativity, inspiration, and our ability to see through to higher realms. It's a good evening for magic, ritual, and meditation.
Tuesday, August 9th ~ The moon is in earthy Capricorn all day; we might enjoy taking in fine art or gourmet food. Venus opposes Pluto at 1:17am EST, though we feel this for much of the day. This aspect can exaggerate jealousy and envy in relationships of all kinds. You may notice you feel protective over friends and loved ones, and resentful of attention they give to others. Take a step back before reacting to avoid self-fulfilling prophecies. The moon trines Mercury at 3:50am and squares Jupiter at 4:24am EST. These transits will cause many to be more talkative and outgoing when it comes to sharing thoughts and ideas. The moon squares Chiron at 4:49pm EST, drawing our attention to emotional blocks we wish to overcome. Finally, the moon trines the North Node at 7:51pm and trines Uranus at 8:57pm EST. These back to back trines produce certainty when it comes to what it is we want in life, allowing us to believe these things to be possible.
Wednesday, August 10th ~ Today, the Capricorn moon trines Mars at 5:12am and sextiles Neptune at 6:44am EST. Divine timing and inspiration are the key words here. Rigid planning creates blocks, while flowing with your desires allows natural magic to occur. The moon conjuncts Pluto at 9:44am EST, enhancing willpower and focus on work. The Sun enters into a square with the moon's nodes at 12:27pm EST, though we feel its effects all day long. This continues the theme from Monday, inviting us to overcome self-consciousness in order to be who we long to be in the world. The moon opposes Venus at 12:39pm and is void of course until 2:44pm EST, when it enters Aquarius. We might find ourselves resenting others who we feel are holding us back. Meditate deeply and see if there is any truth to this, or if your own thoughts and beliefs are the actual shackles. Once the moon is in Aquarius, we seek out higher truths and could be compelled toward charity work of some kind. Thursday, August 11th ~ The moon is in electric Aquarius all day; it is truly a bizarre and jam-packed day in the cosmos. The moon sextiles Jupiter at 4:08am EST, sparking curiosity and sending us down a series of rabbit holes. The Sun enters a square with Uranus at 8:53am EST, something we notice all day long. This creates a need to rebel and could make many say or do somewhat shocking, out of character things. The Aquarian Full moon exaggerates this further. It will be very hard to predict others' behavior today. Venus enters Leo at 2:30pm EST, where it will be until September 5th. Venus in Leo is creative, confident, and affectionate. We do well showing our love in grandiose ways, giving compliments and gifts, and showering our loved ones with attention. You might wish to buy yourself presents this month too, especially those that are worn or used to adorn the body. The moon sextiles Chiron at 4:32pm and this is followed by a sextile between Mars and Neptune at 5:44pm EST. This will be noticeable all weekend long. We align to inspired action and do better going with the flow rather than trying to structure and plan things out. A lot can be accomplished by trusting the intuition rather than hard logic. The moon squares its nodes at 7:06pm, squares Uranus at 8:47pm, and then opposes the Sun at 9:35pm EST. This Full Moon in Aquarius is wacky and zaps like electricity. You might notice there is a lot of static in the air, like a storm is brewing even if it's not. Ideas come down like lightning, and it can be hard to keep track of them all. Jot down whatever shows up or take a voice memo if you prefer. Meditate to the sound of thunderstorms and light a blue or purple candle to work with the energy of Uranus. Friday, August 12th ~ The Aquarius moon enters into a conjunction with Saturn at 1:58am EST, restricting emotion and making us connect more with ideas and technology. It could be challenging to express feeling for the first portion of the day. The moon squares Mars at 7:06am EST; strict routines will feel quite claustrophobic for the weekend. Frustrations mount if demands are too high. The moon is void of course from 7:07am until 2:44pm EST when it enters Pisces. This void period is good for research, writing, and learning. Once the moon is in Pisces, the heart spills over and emotions become all too real. Let them out; share with another how you are feeling. The night is dreamlike and ethereal, soft and gentle in its expression.

You might find it difficult to speak your intentions, and prefer to show them through touch, body language, and more abstract means like giving someone a painting, poem, or dancing to release feeling. The moon sextiles the North Node at 7:26pm and sextiles Uranus at 9:49pm EST. It is possible to envision a most glorious future today. Capture what you want in your mind's eye and see the beauty of it. Hold it there as long as you can, and invite others who are supportive to imagine it with you. These transits bring direction and a desire to help others solve problems and mend conflicts. The Sun opposes Saturn at 1:10pm EST, a transit that is palpable all day. This makes it challenging to get to work; all we want to do is play, but if we let ourselves do that we feel a nagging sense of responsibility. It can be hard to find the balance.
