Monday, January 23rd ~ Today begins with the Aquarius moon conjunct Saturn at 4:24am EST. We could feel removed from emotions to start off the day, almost as if we are viewing them from above or from another's eyes. The moon goes on to conjunct Venus at 5:19am EST before moving void of course for over seven hours. This conjunction softens the heart and draws the attention to beautiful things all around. We seek out harmony in our dealings with others. The lengthy void period can open up portals of daydreaming; we get lost in our imaginations. The void ends as the moon moves into Pisces at 12:35pm EST. The Pisces moon is also a daydreamer's moon, but dwells more solely in the emotional realm. We may notice an influx of sentiment or a wave of feelings that washes over us at some point after the lunar shift.
Tuesday, January 24th ~ We have a full day with the moon in intuitive, fantasy-tinged Pisces. It begins with the moon in square to Mars at 2:56am and sextile to its North Node at 3:09am EST. This creates impatience around the future. We recognize action must be taken but could struggle to initiate the necessary change. The moon goes on to sextile Mercury at 4:58am and later sextile Uranus at 12:42pm EST. It is a good day for discussions as the mind is keyed in to possibilities and solutions. You may find it easier to map out a plan rather than begin to work on it today. The Sun sextiles Jupiter at 3:30pm EST, though we feel this building all day. This transit encourages generosity and charitability. Optimism builds and we seek to find freedom and room to expand. It is a gentle contact between the two largest bodies in our Solar System, encouraging us to be our biggest and boldest selves.
Wednesday, January 25th ~ Today begins with the Pisces moon entering a conjunction with Neptune at 2:42am EST; this is a heartfelt transit which opens our ability to empathize and be compassionate with the people and other beings we encounter. It may seem like we are blurring the lines between self and others. The moon sextiles Pluto at 11:11am EST and then moves void of course for about two and a half hours. We seek to transform the emotional world by doing shadow work or embracing something that scares us. The moon's void ends at 1:47pm EST as it enters Aries. We could feel a boost of energy and may notice ourselves becoming fired up; the air of the Sun's placement coupled with the fire of the Moon invigorates. The moon enters its Waxing Crescent phase at 11:58pm EST and there is a build up of excitement. We could find ourselves itching for an adventure.
Thursday, January 26th ~ The moon is in pioneering Aries all day; we seek to have new experiences and visit new locations. The moon sextiles Mars at 5:39am which aids in booting physical energy. It goes on to square Mercury at 10:07am and conjunct Chiron at 11:16am EST. While a conversation may be tough to get through, it provides necessary healing and growth. Later on, Venus enters Pisces at 9:32pm EST. This is a gentle, harmonious time as Venus moves through the water sign until February 20th. Venus's love in Pisces is romantic, pure, and fantastical. Think a knight on a white horse, or a blue lagoon paradise of love. Art and poetry flourish during this time. Friday, January 27th ~ Today begins with Mercury squaring Chiron at 5:42am EST, though we feel this transit for much of the day. Conversations bring up vulnerabilities and we may feel self conscious or find ourselves triggered by some communication. Be gentle with self and others today. The Aries moon sextiles Saturn at 10:12am EST which aids with work and allows us to step into positions of leadership. The moon later squares Pluto at 4:01pm and then moves void of course until it enters Taurus at 6:42pm EST. This two and a half hour period may be tense and arguments can arise. Things smooth out once the moon is in the sign of its exaltation, Taurus. Later it sextiles Venus, newly in Pisces, at 8:56pm EST. Saturday, January 28th ~ Today we have the moon in grounded, sensual Taurus all day. It enters its First Quarter phase at 10:18am EST, which is stimulating and makes it difficult to sit still. The moon conjuncts its North Node at 11:03am EST which pushes us out of our comfort zone emotionally. The growth is quite necessary and can allow us to get better with handling some aspect of the emotional world. The Sun squares both Nodes of the moon at 7:49pm EST which puts us at a bit of a crossroads. We may need to define our parameters, or step into the embodiment of who we are versus who we used to be. A line may need to be drawn to make this clear. The moon later trines Mercury at 8:43pm and conjuncts Uranus at 10:36pm EST. This makes technology easier to navigate and gives a boost to all those who work in engineering and tech. You may find communication to go smoother during this portion of the day than it did in the earlier hours.
Sunday, January 29th ~ It's another full day with the moon in Taurus, providing us with a desire for comfort through touch, sound, scent, and food. The moon sextiles Neptune at 3:01pm EST which is wonderful for connecting to something inspiring which moves us. Turn on your favorite piece of music and get taken away. The moon squares Saturn later at 7:03pm EST which can make us feel pressured to take responsibility for someone around us. We may need to tidy up someone else's mess. The Sun trines Mars at 8:45pm EST, an invigorating all-day building transit which amps up the need for competition and recognition of our skills and talents. We may be more active and have more energy to burn today. Mercury trines Uranus at 9:16pm EST, another all-day builder. This brings inspiration and a-ha moments which allow us to solve a problem with vigor. People may be more random and full of surprises tonight.
