Monday, February 27th ~ Today we see the moon being very active as it makes its way through the sign of Gemini. It enters its First Quarter phase at 3:05am EST, carrying a stimulating energy that can leave some feeling restless and eager for action. This could be experienced as fidgeting or a need to do something, anything. The moon sextiles Venus at 3:24am EST which increases our desire to cooperate with others and get along through groupwork or collaboration. The moon sextiles Jupiter at 9:07am and later sextiles Chiron at 1:29pm EST. These transits bring expanded optimism and bring healing through learning new information and expanding the mind. The moon conjuncts Mars at 11:20pm EST to close out the day; this is an energetic transit which can give us a boost and make it somewhat difficult to rest during this time. It's a good idea to burn some excess energy off before bed to ensure more restful sleep.
Tuesday, February 28th ~ Today begins with the Gemini moon squaring Neptune in Pisces at 10:45am EST; we may believe we understand a situation but could be coming at it from a misconception. The energy of the day lends itself better to being open-minded and objective rather than going all in with our opinions. The moon trines Mercury at 2:27pm and later trines Saturn at 8:07pm EST which brings both curiosity and discipline. We easily lock into the groove of a project or area of interest and can gain momentum on it. Finally, the moon is void of course from 8:08pm until it ingresses Cancer at 9:40pm EST. In its domicile, we receive more contact with our emotions and intuition. We may feel nostalgic and sentimental, wanting to dream away and think back on happy times with those we love.
Wednesday, March 1st ~ The moon is at home in the sign of Cancer all day, bringing a need to nurture and care for those we love. We may feel more doting or wish to show our affection more openly. The moon sextiles its North Node at 9:19am EST which brings emotional readiness for the next stage of our lives. You may find that you are more readily accepting change or the idea of it. The moon enters its Waxing Gibbous phase at 8:10pm EST, growing steadily as we approach next week's Full Moon in Virgo happening on 3/7. The Waxing Gibbous period brings more positivity, enthusiasm, and fosters an adventurous spirit. Finally, the moon squares Venus at 9:49pm and squares Jupiter at 10:04pm EST. There is a tendency to overdo it tonight: too much energy expended, too much food or drink, or too much of a good thing. Venus and Jupiter are moving toward a conjunction that is perfecting very early tomorrow morning, and this brings a need for jovial good times and shared connections with others. You may also experience an influx of creative ideas or wish to take in inspiring culture and art.
Thursday, March 2nd ~ We have another full day with the moon in Cancer, softening the edges of emotions and sharpening the intuition and our gut feelings about people and situations. Venus conjuncts Jupiter at 12:35am EST, a transit we felt building last night and will continue to notice all day. This is a positive aspect which enhances positivity and adventure in relationships. We notice the beauty in our surroundings and receive all kinds of creative ideas and visions. The one downside to this transit is there can be a tendency to overdo things; by going all out we may expend our energy too unevenly. It is good to be at least somewhat moderate today. The moon squares Chiron at 1:41am and sextiles Uranus at 5:02am EST. We may not be ready to face up to something today and would prefer to keep ourselves distracted. Mercury conjuncts Saturn in Aqurius at 9:34am EST; both planets are sitting at the 29th degree of this sign during the conjunction. This feels tense and focused but limits the mind and makes it somewhat rigid. We may struggle to impose logic on situations where there is none, or in instances where the heart may need to lead. Finally, this shakes up somewhat as Mercury moves into Pisces at 5:51pm EST. It will be here in this mutable water sign until March 19th, a typically snappy transit for the planet. Mercury in Pisces is imagination personified. We may enjoy writing, storytelling, and leaning into our sense of childlike wonder during this time. Those with Mercury in Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces, Taurus, and Capricorn tend to enjoy this period the most and receive a mental boost. Finally, the moon trines Neptune at 11:23pm EST which allows for lucid dreams and soft impressions of other worlds to enter. We may be more psychically sensitive tonight and pick up on the feelings of those around us.
Friday, March 3rd ~ Today begins with the Cancer moon opposing Pluto in Capricorn at 9:22am EST, both at the 29th degree of their respective sign. This introduces the possibility of worries arising relating to loved ones. We may overthink these fears for an hour or two during this time. The moon is void of course from 9:23am until 10:15am EST when it enters Leo, breaking up this intensity. The moon in Leo is more playful and expressive and wishes to just burn off steam rather than holding onto it. Venus conjuncts Chiron at 12:48pm EST which allows for expansive healing to come through relationships with others. By being open, honest, and vulnerable, we are able to move longstanding issues and trauma. This may involve listening to someone else work through their feelings as well. The moon squares both its Nodes at 9:23pm EST; while we may feel it is time for change to begin, we hold tight to the past and prefer to just enjoy ourselves an keep things the way they are for the evening.
Saturday, March 4th ~ It's a full day with the moon in dramatic, sunny Leo, bringing a need for drama and flair for the unique. The moon trines Jupiter at 11:56am and later trines Chiron at 2:38pm EST. We are able to heal self and others by sharing our true self through creativity and open expression. It's a good day to dress exactly as you want, share your creative output with those you trust, and spend time with those who celebrate who you are. The moon trines Venus at 5:27pm and squares Uranus at 5:53pm EST. It's a romantic night, good for expressing love to a partner or even taking yourself out on the town. Planning can be a challenge with this influence from Uranus; it is best to improvise or see where the day takes you rather than trying to enforce a schedule.
Sunday, March 5th ~ We start the day with the Leo moon sextiling Mars at 4:26am EST; this brings a boost of energy that needs an outlet. You may feel bouncy, ready to explore or get outside, or perhaps your energy is quieter and seeks a more introverted release, such as beating a level in a video game or finishing a good book. Mercury sextiles the North Node today at 5:57pm EST which is an excellent transit for feeling mentally equipped to handle change. We can view things more logically, but at the same time with a sort of intuitive understanding that allows for deep growth and evolution. It's also a great day to share hopes and dreams for the future with loved ones. The moon opposes Saturn at 10:18pm EST before moving void of course for just under twenty minutes. While we may feel responsible for completing a task, it can be a bit challenging to focus until the moon enters Virgo at 10:38pm EST. At this point we are able to break it down into bite size pieces and accomplish it with ease.
