Monday, March 6th ~ The moon is in steady, investigative Virgo all day, providing a consistent backbeat to the day. The Sun sextiles Uranus at 8:41am EST, an energy we feel all day long. This provides some surprises and excitement. We may enjoy deviating from normal routines and prefer to shake things up in some form or fashion. Expressing ourselves and all our uniqueness will be especially enjoyable. The moon trines its North Node at 8:46am EST, steadily moving toward fullness. We could feel ready to make changes and seek out ways to organize our emotions so that we may feel more grounded. The moon opposes Mercury at 11:32am EST, the last major transit for the day. Our minds could be moving rapidly, resulting in overthinking or restlessness. The energy building today is quite profound; tomorrow is one of the biggest astrological days this year, plus we have a potent Jupiter/Chiron conjunction coming this weekend. All of this growing energy will make for quite an intense day. Stay grounded while still leaning into the playful chaos of the Sun/Uranus sextile.
Tuesday, March 7th ~ Today is one of the biggest astrological days of the year, and so vibrations could feel somewhat bizarre. Things could have an otherworldly energy, as though you are viewing situations from above. The day begins with the Virgo moon trining Uranus at 5:50am EST. This creates a need to shake up our emotional world, and to detach from heavy feelings. The Full Moon in Virgo perfects at 7:40am EST; this Full Moon centers around the physical body and manifestations involving it. It is an ideal time to eat consciously, savoring every bite, and find ways to practice gratitude for your physical vessel. If you find yourself overthinking today, breathwork and spending time in nature can be quite helpful. The second big transit of the day occurs at 8:34am EST as Saturn moves into Pisces. This is a major shake-up in energy, as we will have the ringed planet here until February 2026. While Saturn in Aquarius brought restriction in community, it also stirred up rebellion. This period defined the Covid pandemic, having begun in March 2020. Now that we have Saturn in Pisces, there will be more of a focus on spirituality, but also on creating healthy boundaries that protect our energy. Karmic debts of the past will resurface, and there will be a focus on wrapping up the period which began almost 30 years ago when Saturn entered Aries in April 1996. This kicked off the technological boom and access of information that having personal computers and internet in every home initiated. For these next three years, we will be wrapping up this cycle and possibly having to deal with karma that it created. The day progresses with the moon squaring Mars at 6:06pm and opposing Neptune at 11:38pm EST. Frustrations could arise that could be burned off by moving the body. We may feel annoyed by the behavior of others and wish to control it in some manner. It is wise to take a step back and channel anger into a workout or get intense feelings out through writing.
Wednesday, March 8th ~ Today kicks off with the Virgo moon trining Pluto at 9:07am EST. We could feel a strong need to embrace the shadow, or to lend our support to the underdog in a situation. There may be a mounting desire to stand up to someone who has authority over you, that acts as a positive catalyst. The moon is void of course for a brief window, from 9:08am until 9:43am EST when it moves into Libra. We might notice ourselves feeling distracted and tired during the void period and the hour which follows it. The rest of the day is free from major aspects. The Libra moon gives us a need to socialize and work in groups. We may prefer to bounce ideas off of others rather than figure things out on our own.
Thursday, March 9th ~ We have the moon in airy, balanced Libra all day, putting an emphasis on harmony and reducing conflict wherever we go. The moon opposes Jupiter at 12:27pm and opposes Chiron at 1:19pm EST - the only two major aspects of the day. The Libra moon is a collector's moon; we are more likely to want to hunt for objects which make us happy. The influence from Jupiter can bring a tendency to overdo / overspend. We may also try to keep busy to avoid facing up to something. Leaning into the fun, extroverted energy of the day and treating yourself is great, but be mindful as regrets could arise if you go too far in some capacity.
Friday, March 10th ~ Today begins with the Libra moon opposing Venus at 4:06am and trining Mars at 6:00am EST. Yesterday's energy of overspending could still be with us, as the influence of Venus and Libra draw us toward beautiful things and people. Spirits and enthusiasm are high for the start of the day. Things shift a bit later on as the moon squares Pluto at 6:36pm EST before moving void of course for about a half an hour. We may feel a sharp need to experience our shadow through interacting with others. This could result in arguments or simply looking for trouble. The void period ends at 7:05pm EST as the moon enters Scorpio. Here, we feel things intensely and are able to connect to the world beyond the veil with ease. The moon trines Saturn at 7:51pm EST which brings more focus, control, and allows us to take responsibility for our emotions.
Saturday, March 11th ~ The moon is in Scorpio all weekend, casting a mystical energy over the days and nights. We may feel drawn to explore the unknown or dive into research on a subject which intrigues us. The moon conjuncts its South Node at 3:53am EST which opens us up to the past. We may experience dreams or memories of our youth, or of past lives and the people we shared them with. Venus sextiles Mars at 10:04am EST, a sensual and passionate aspect which colors the day. This brings a straightforward dynamic to romantic encounters and ups the enthusiasm and charm we bring to these relationships. It's an ideal day for a date, provided we are okay with things jumping into the deep end; shallow small talk is not preferred on this day. Mercury sextiles Uranus at 4:04pm EST which allows us to think outside the box. We can easily theorize about situations we have never been in, and come up with creative solutions to old problems. There could be some surprises that emerge during conversations today. Talks with others may be atypical in all ways. We feel the build-up of the massive Jupiter/Chiron conjunction in Aries all day, which can bring past hurt and pain to the surface. Be mindful that this is a good thing, as this conjunction seeks to transform these scars into something beautiful.
Sunday, March 12th ~ We have the moon in watery, intense Scorpio all day, waning in light after last week's Full Moon. The moon opposes Uranus at 12:42am EST, which can create fluctuations in mood. We may cycle through emotions, but not hold onto any of them for long. Jupiter and Chiron meet in conjunction at 1:53am EST, a major aspect that is one of the biggest of this year. These two celestial bodies have not been conjunct since 2011. The influence of benefic Jupiter with wounded healer Chiron brings insecurities to the surface. We may feel self-conscious, raw, exposed. This is the first step of the process, but by confronting and embracing our feelings, we allow the positive light of these planets to wash over us and recognize the multitudes contained inside our pain. We may feel more compassion for self and others, and begin to recognize the true potential that lies inside of us. We do not have to be defined by these fears any longer. The moon trines Mercury at 3:07am and later enters its Waning Gibbous phase at 12:31pm EST. We are invited to share with others and create a healing circle that is held up by love, openness, and active listening. The Waning Gibbous phase is ideal for experiencing gratitude and recognizing all that we appreciate in this life. The moon trines Neptune at 8:18pm EST, the transit that closes out the day. This increases spiritual wisdom and creativity, while dissolving boundaries which keep us shut off and turned away from growth and light. Overall, this is a day which invites us to receive remarkable levels of healing and can lead to major evolution of the soul.
