Monday, July 10th ~ Today is the most cosmically active day this week. We start with the Aries moon conjuncting Chiron at 1:50am EST, intensifying our need for physical activity. We will enjoy finding ways to move stagnant energy in the body. Mars enters Virgo at 7:40am EST, where it will be until August 27th. Mars here is focused around daily routine and habits. This is a good time to implement healthy choices, and find a routine or flow that works for you. We may feel more passionate about eating better. Many will be more observant of small details, and by adjusting these we can feel an increase in physical energy. Those with natal Mars in earth signs (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn) and water signs Cancer and Scorpio will find they have a boost during this period. The moon goes on to trine Venus at 12:34pm EST, allowing for effective teamwork and harmony in groups. Mercury opposes Pluto at 4:47pm EST, which can cause us to become hyper focused on small details, searching beneath the surface to learn all we can about something. Be careful to not become too obsessive or even paranoid about uncovering the truth. The moon goes on to square Pluto at 6:49pm and then squares Mercury at 7:11pm EST. Digging around for answers stirs up emotional reactions, and many look for ways to control a situation at any cost. Don't be afraid to take a step back from intense interactions. The moon is void of course from 7:12pm until it enters Taurus at 7:55pm EST, where it is considered exalted. This brings more peace of mind and allows the emotions to settle down. The moon trines Mars at 8:30pm and conjuncts its North Node at 9:22pm EST. We feel more inspired tonight and enjoy moving the body to release stress and tension.
Tuesday, July 11th ~ We have a full day with the moon exalted in the sign of Taurus. When a planetary body is in the sign of its exaltation, its energy is more able to flow. We feel our intuition sharpening in our body, signaling to us what is needed in order for us to connect to our highest self. Mercury enters Leo today at 12:11am EST, where it will be until July 28th. This brief sojourn is wonderful for expressing ourselves creatively, and allowing our voices to be heard. We might find ourselves benefitting from sharing more and letting our ideas and feelings known. Those with natal Mercury in fire signs Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius, and air signs Gemini and Libra will find their minds buzzing with possibility over the next two and a half weeks. The moon sextiles Saturn at 8:11am EST, which allows for more focus and a strengthening of the work ethic. Mercury squares both Nodes of the moon at 10:00am EST, suggesting that today it is a good idea to sit with your thoughts and work them out before sharing. Mercury in Leo definitely makes most of us more talkative, but we will feel more satisfied if we get really sure of what we want before asking for it. Mars trines the North Node at 3:14pm EST, which adds an aura of destiny to the day. We are feeling pulled in a specific direction, and prefer to take action rather than just sitting around and hoping things will happen on their own. Calculated risks pay off. The moon conjuncts Jupiter at 4:04pm EST, the last transit of the day. This brings a lucky vibe and gets us geared up for excitement and change.
Wednesday, July 12th ~ We have a second full day with the moon in the sign of fixed earth, Taurus. Connecting to nature and the earth around us brings a sense of renewal and positivity. The Sun squares Chiron at 8:06am EST, a transit we feel all day long. This amplifies sadness and insecurity, and allows these sensations to rise to our awareness so they can be healed. By talking about our vulnerabilities and putting ourselves out there, we can increase our self-confidence and become more sure of ourselves. The moon enters its Waning Crescent phase at 8:30am EST, and later conjuncts Uranus at 12:41pm EST. This is a more reflective time; it is likely you will need more quiet and rest over the next few days. Social interactions can be draining if they go on for too long. The moon squares Venus at 9:23pm and sextiles Neptune at 10:59pm EST. The veil is thinner tonight. While we may prefer time on our own in the physical world, we can connect intimately with guides, departed loved ones, and other positive energies from the other side.
Thursday, July 13th ~ Today begins with the Taurus moon trining Pluto at 2:10am EST and then moving void of course for a little over an hour. This is a take charge dynamic that encourages leadership and self-awareness. The moon's void ends at 3:25am EST as it enters Gemini. The Gemini moon is effervescent and engaging, and seeks out answers to all of life's little curiosities. The moon squares Mars at 6:51am EST, and we prefer to explore via our brains today rather than jumping into activities. We might need some quiet time to just space out or read. The moon sextiles Mercury at 12:39pm and squares Saturn at 4:05pm EST. Ideas come naturally, spinning out of us like spirographs into endless circles of possibility. This is an ideal day to take time out from the world, or provide yourself with frequent breaks to sit alone and ponder, if possible.
Friday, July 14th ~ The moon is in Gemini all day; this paired with Mercury presently in Leo can make us chatty and we enjoy processing our feelings out loud. The moon sextiles Chiron at 5:36am EST, allowing for healing to come as we move through our emotions and let them pass like clouds on the wind. Talking about feelings provides cathartic relief. The Sun sextiles Uranus at 7:02pm EST, though we feel this transit all day long. It's a day for the performers, those who seek to shine by showing off their true selves in a public manner. Be expressive, wear whatever makes you excited and happy, and don't be afraid to share your creativity with others. The astrology is remarkably supportive for taking risks and knocking down walls that interfere with personal freedom.
Saturday, July 15th ~ Today begins with the Gemini moon sextiling Venus at 8:27am and squaring Neptune at 8:35am EST. Creative juices flow, and collaboration with others provides more inspiration than we might be able to arrive at alone. Just be sure you balance out social time with some alone time. The Waning Crescent moon phase is the most solitary time of the month and so we need to be sure we refuel our energetic tanks by recharging alone. The moon is void of course from 8:36am until it enters the sign of its domicile, Cancer at 1:13pm EST. The moon is at home in this sign and is able to express itself the best. We see an increase in intuition, and the heart opens more and allows love to flow in and out. The moon sextiles the North Node at 2:05pm and sextiles Mars at 7:48pm EST. The heart knows what it wants. We feel a strong pull in one direction, and even if it makes no logical sense we are drawn toward it regardless. Don't be afraid to follow this intuitive tugging on your emotions and see where it leads you.
Sunday, July 16th ~ The moon is at home in Cancer all day, softening our spirits and pulling our attention toward dreams, poetic beauty, and warm memories from the past. Spending time near bodies of water can be good for the soul today. The moon trines Saturn at 2:05am EST, urging us to care for someone we love by checking in on them or sending over a little gift to support them. Stepping into a role of responsibility can be a source of immense satisfaction. Being there for someone in need creates a compassionate flow of energy to the heart. The moon sextiles Jupiter at 12:22pm EST, amplifying positivity and bringing a need to explore and try something new. We enjoy adventuring beside loved ones today, experiencing something through their eyes as well as our own.
