Monday, July 24th ~ Today is a very simple day celestially, with limited influences in the cosmic skies. The moon is in airy, bright Libra all day, encouraging us to notice the beauty in the world around us. Inspiration comes as we listen to music, look at colorful art, and engage with others. The moon opposes Chiron at 5:29pm EST, the only major aspect of the day. We may need to work on something by ourselves today, and healing will come if we are able to step up and take it on personally. However, the influence of the Libra moon is much more social and will cause many to try to do this in groups or with a friend. Keep in mind that while others can support you, there is part of this mission that must be completed on your own.
Tuesday, July 25th ~ Today begins with the Libra moon sextile Mercury at 2:39am EST, increasing our need for communication with others. We seek out a friend to bounce ideas off. Pluto is still in direct square with the Nodes of the moon and will be for a couple weeks, so we are feeling a lot of pressure to make decisions and transform our lives right now, but could feel frozen in place. The moon sextiles Venus at 10:00am and squares Pluto and conjuncts the South Node at 11:05am EST before moving void of course for just under two hours. We want to enjoy ourselves and could feel irritated by pressure, both external and internal. We could get lost in memories and nostalgia during the void. The moon's void ends at 12:55pm EST as it enters Scorpio. The Scorpio moon is deep, intuitive, and private. It reaches its First Quarter phase at 6:06pm EST which gears us up to get some work done and progress toward a goal. This is a stimulating moon phase which is restless and outward seeking in nature.
Wednesday, July 26th ~ We have a full day with the moon in spiritual, intense Scorpio. We seek to explore mysteries and look below the surface for answers. The moon trines Saturn at 12:27am EST, giving us discipline to accomplish a task and lock into our work. We thrive as we take responsibility today. The moon sextiles Mars at 7:31am EST, charging up our energy and encouraging us to move our bodies. Finally, the moon opposes Jupiter in Taurus at 1:38pm EST which sends us on a seeker's mission. We might feel more curious about spiritual subjects but could find it hard to have faith in what we discover. There will always be more to uncover and learn. Ground into the parts that ring true to you.
Thursday, July 27th ~ Today kicks off with the Scorpio moon opposing Uranus at 7:10am EST. Changes arise today, and plans easily shift or dissolve. Go with the flow and you may be pleasantly surprised. Mercury conjuncts retrograde Venus at 11:15am EST, which opens up an opportunity to communicate with someone from the past. We may even find this to be an ideal time to commune with our inner child to see what is needed for healing. The moon trines Neptune at 3:55pm and squares Venus at 5:05pm EST. Our imaginations are active and charged today and carry us to lots of wonderful places. We could prefer to be on our own rather than socializing heavily, or just with one or two trusted companions. The moon squares Mercury at 5:53pm and sextiles Pluto at 6:35pm EST. We remain curious and intrigued to learn more about something of interest, but might not be sure how to put it into words. Research and explore, and share your findings later. The moon is void from 6:36pm until it enters Sagittarius at 8:23pm EST. This relatively short void period allows for deep meditation and relaxation. Once the moon is in Sagittarius, we are more ready for adventure, travel, or trying something new.
Friday, July 28th ~ We have a full day with the moon in excitable, exploratory Sagittarius. Mercury trines the North Node of the Moon today at 12:46am EST, which allows ideas about the future to flow to us with ease. This is a good day to communicate hopes and dreams about your future plans to others, and to make moves toward what you want. The moon enters its Waxing Gibbous phase at 5:21am EST, increasing positivity and a need to jump into life to experience all it has to offer. The moon squares Saturn at 6:51am EST, which could make us a little reluctant to lose ourselves in work or minutia. We'll prefer bigger picture projects and action-packed ideas. Pluto is still squaring the Nodes of the Moon, which can create some intense pressure to transform our lives and uproot all we've considered the norm. The moon squares Mars at 4:08pm EST, which can make some more vocal and aggressive in getting their points across. Mercury enters Virgo at 5:31pm EST, where it will be until October 4th! This is an especially long Mercury transit because the planet will be going retrograde at the end of August. Mercury is the ruler of Virgo, so is happy here in this placement. We can access more logical trains of thought, and might be more long-winded as we share ideas, write, and commune with others. This is a great placement for scientists, doctors, and anyone who has to commit more logic-based vocabulary and research to memory. Those with natal Mercury in earth signs (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn) and water signs Cancer and Scorpio will especially enjoy this time and will get a mental boost.
Saturday, July 29th ~ Today starts with the Sagittarius moon trine Chiron at 6:57am EST, giving us an opportunity to try something new to release fear and allow healing to enter in. There are no major transits until 7:32pm EST, when the moon squares Neptune in Pisces. We aim to be logical and rational, but could find our emotions are present anyway. The moon trines Venus at 7:51pm EST, a great aspect for fun outings with friends or a date with a loved one. The moon is void of course from 7:52pm until it enters Capricorn at 11:44pm EST. During the void, the moon trines its North Node at 9:48pm EST, giving us an opportunity to connect with our higher self and take action toward aligning with this part of ourselves. The moon's entrance into Capricorn brings grounding and forward-thinking energy.
Sunday, July 30th ~ We have a steady day with the moon in earthy Capricorn, providing stability and sophistication. The moon trines Mercury at 2:55am and sextiles Saturn at 9:15am EST. We can lock into tasks we're working on and take charge of a situation with more grace and ease. Communications flow clearly and go better if they are more fact-based rather than emotionally tinged. The moon trines Mars at 8:18pm and trines Jupiter at 9:51pm EST, allowing us to envision what is possible and giving us the drive to achieve it. Overall this is a positive day with transits that support success, provided we can put in the work to get there.
