Weekly Forecast: 10/23/23 through 10/29/23

Monday, October 23rd ~ Happy Scorpio season! Today the moon is in airy, whimsical Aquarius all day. We are driven to find ways to carve out more freedom for ourselves. The moon sextiles Chiron at 7:04am EST which allows for healing to come through following your own heart rather than trying to fit in or go along with the crowd. The Sun enters Scorpio at 12:20pm EST and Scorpio season is officially upon us. This is a time of fixed water; picture the darkest and deepest grottos of the ocean sparkling with unknown treasure or mysterious underwater creatures. Scorpio is about emotional holding. Here, we explore the depths and access our emotions through memory. This is true of all water signs, but Scorpio will never forget and will rarely fully forgive. They feel all the old pain as though it is fresh, and require much alone time to process these heavy emotions. The moon squares Uranus today at 3:04pm EST and then it moves void of course until tomorrow. This lengthy void period (over 13 hours long) gives the entrance to Scorpio season a portal-like effect. We can feel somewhat removed from reality and explore the intuitive realms with greater ease. The square between the moon and Uranus can emphasize fluctuations in mood. The moon sextiles its North Node at 8:02pm EST which allows a glimpse of inspiration to come in regards to our potential, or a wish or goal we hope to see come to fruition.

Tuesday, October 24th ~ Today begins with a trine between the Sun and Saturn at 3:13am EST, though we can feel this energy playing out for most of the day. This allows us to get serious and take responsibility for some aspect of our lives. We could feel compelled to get on track or will need to rely on our willpower to reach a goal. The moon's void ends at 4:32am EST as it ingresses Pisces. The moon in Pisces is emotional, tender, and imaginative. We connect to things through the heart space more than on a mental level. The moon conjuncts Saturn at 5:34am and reaches its Waxing Gibbous phase at 5:44am EST. We connect on a more profound level to our work and will find it easier to focus and put harder work in when it comes to something we feel passionately about. Excitement mounts and builds as we approach the weekend's Full Moon / Lunar Eclipse. The moon trines Mercury at 10:56am EST which allows for agreements and mutual understandings to be made today. The moon later trines Mars at 6:57pm and sextiles Jupiter at 11:56pm EST. This is future-oriented energy that turns our attention toward possibilities. We could benefit from exploring or adventuring in some form tonight, which will provide us with renewed vigor and inspiration.

Wednesday, October 25th ~ The moon is in mutable water sign Pisces all day. It it easier to expand the aura today and feel other's energies. We may be more sensitive or empathic. The moon opposes Venus at 5:51am EST which exaggerates our need for love and affection. We could find it difficult to feel like there is enough to go around. The moon later sextiles Uranus at 4:34pm EST; unique ideas appear and creative inspiration abounds. We will need to find an outlet for this or could feel a bit like a cauldron bubbling over. The moon conjuncts Neptune at 10:22pm EST which melts away boundaries between all things. It is easier to connect with others but can also leave us feeling a little raw and vulnerable. Spend time around people you don't mind melding with today.

Thursday, October 26th ~ Today is quiet astrologically. We begin with the Pisces moon sextiling Pluto at 2:39am EST, amplifying emotions and making it impossible to just shake things off. Feelings will need to be explored and dealt with. The moon is void of course from 2:40am until it enters Aries at 6:01am EST. This void period carries an emotional swell that will then invite us to take action as the moon shifts into Aries. We may feel compelled to talk to someone today, make a move toward a goal, or leap into activity with little forethought. There are no other major aspects today. Ride that Aries fire and see where it takes you. Combined with the Scorpio Sun, there is a lot of power at our disposal!

Friday, October 27th ~ We have the moon in fiery, independent Aries all day. This energy is potent and powerful and requires us to be more confident and embrace what makes us unique in the world. The moon is conjunct Chiron at 9:59am EST allowing for us to make strides in feeling more sure of ourselves and our mission in life. The moon later conjuncts its North Node at 11:13pm EST, the furthest point from Earth on its monthly orbit. This stretches us out of our comfort zone and offers opportunities for growth, should we be bold enough to take them. We are gearing up for tomorrow's Full Moon / Lunar Eclipse, so could feel like energies are heightened or as though the veil is thinner than normal.

Saturday, October 28th ~ This is the most intense celestial day of the week! Let's get ready and ground ourselves. We start the day with the Aries moon squaring Pluto at 4:19am EST and then moving void of course for about three and a half hours. We could be somewhat grouchy and stuck on getting our way. After the void, the moon enters Taurus at 7:44am EST and begins making its final trek to fullness. It sextiles Saturn at 8:39am EST, bringing a seriousness of purpose and a desire to make our intentions known to others. Mars opposes Jupiter at 12:03pm EST, a transit we have felt building over the past two days and will feel through the remainder of the weekend. This transit can make for an overabundance of energy and perhaps too much confidence. We have to be careful to not take too many risks, since there is very little calculation and logic applied during this transit. We can oversell ourselves and our abilities, or assume we can improvise our way through a situation without understanding the inner workings of it. A positive of this aspect is increased belief in self and others; if we can strike a healthy balance between prudence and positivity, we can use this to our benefit. The Full Moon / Lunar Eclipse in Taurus occurs at 4:24pm EST. This transit closes out Eclipse season and packs a powerful punch. The Full Moon in Taurus is ideal for attracting wealth and working to shed harmful financial habits. We can begin to heal our relationship to money, and bring in greater levels of self worth. The Lunar Eclipse carries great collective energy as the shadow of the Earth falls on the surface of the moon. This means we cannot turn away from the pain of our fellow beings here on Earth. We can't see ourselves as separate or disconnected. This is a potent portal for change, both individually and on a grand scale. Later, Mercury opposes Jupiter at 11:44pm EST, another big transit. We have to adjust our concept of what is possible. If you have been too close-minded, reminders will come around helping you to widen your scope of belief. If you have been too open and unfocused, you may find an opportunity to hone your perception and gain more clarity.

Sunday, October 29th ~ Today we have the moon exalted in the sign of Taurus all day. We benefit from spending time in nature or using our powers of observation to ground and quiet the mind. The moon conjuncts Jupiter at 2:36am and opposes Mercury at 3:00am EST. Some of the lessons of yesterday carry over into this morning. We are given a chance to broaden our viewpoints and see things on another level. The moon opposes Mars at 3:30am EST; we could find rest is needed today in order to reset from yesterday's astrological intensity. Mercury conjuncts Mars at 10:21am EST, a transit we feel all day. This transit sharpens the tongue and allows for open communication that is brash and direct. The mind roams and intensifies its focus. Conversations could easily turn into heated debates today. All communication is passionate and intense. The moon later trines Venus at 5:32pm and conjuncts Uranus at 8:35pm EST. This suggests we find common ground or at least can agree to disagree. We need to give others space to arrive at their own conclusions.
