Weekly Forecast: 10/30/23 through 11/5/23

Monday, October 30th ~ The week begins with the Taurus moon sextiling Neptune at 2:50am EST, invoking curiosity and a desire to emotionally connect with others on a profound level. The moon trines Pluto at 7:35am EST, which strengthens our resolve and invites us to transform and try something new today. The moon is void of course from 7:36am until it enters Gemini at 11:07am EST. The Gemini moon is curious and intellectual. We are encouraged to learn new things and satisfy every hunger for knowledge. The moon squares Saturn at 12:03pm EST, which can interrupt focus and make it challenging to meet responsibilities. If we feel too pressured to achieve, we can go the opposite way and refuse to get things done. Be open to taking a break or finding ways to bookend work between moments of time dedicated to fun and mental restoration.

Tuesday, October 31st ~ Happy Halloween and blessed Samhain! The moon is in Gemini for this magical day, highlighting interesting conversations, the thirst for knowledge, and a busy schedule. Venus is in trine to Uranus at 8:51am EST, but noticeable all day long. This transit creates fun surprises in relationships and suggests going with the flow is preferable today over forcing things to go your way. Creative ideas abound and may be unusual or atypical in their presentation. The moon later sextiles Chiron at 5:05pm EST. This transit invites healing through communication. Writing and sharing feelings and thoughts with others proves to be quite cathartic. Being stoic and trying to keep it together is not necessarily the most conducive way to experience the day.

Wednesday, November 1st ~ Welcome to November! The month begins with the Gemini moon squaring Venus at 3:25am and then sextiling its North Node at 7:52am EST. We are pushed out of our comfort zones today and encouraged to try something new that helps out souls to evolve. We can feel somewhat held back by others and will prefer to do it on our own, or could benefit more from going solo. The moon squares Neptune at 8:36am and then moves void of course for a lengthy period of almost nine hours. We could get lost in daydreams or theoretical thinking today, and might find we need a lot more time to ponder than usual. The moon's void ends at 5:30pm EST as it enters the sign it rules over, Cancer. The Cancer moon is intuitive, nurturing, nostalgic, and emotionally charged. We might feel more depth of feelings after this ingress, and could seek out comfort through people, food, familiar movies, and other soothing activities. The nostalgic energy of the day is perfect for remembering those we love who have passed, as today is Dia de los Muertos. The moon trines Saturn at 6:28pm EST which allows for more focus and discipline to enter into our experience.

Thursday, November 2nd ~ The moon is at home in Cancer all day, and reaches its Waning Gibbous phase at 12:22pm EST. This is a time for celebration, reflection, and focusing on the positives in our lives. What is going well, and how can we honor this? The moon being in Cancer adds an emotional charge. We are called to share appreciation with loved ones and to shower them with affection and compliments. The moon sextiles Jupiter at 1:30pm EST; we seek out social activity and tend to be more cheerful or playful under this aspect. Later, the moon trines Mars at 10:01pm EST. We overcome challenges and could feel a boost of self-confidence as a result of this transit. Mostly, we will experience a need for activity and will more energy to expend.

Friday, November 3rd ~ Today is the most active day of the week, with over ten transits happening. These days we really benefit from grounding. Get outside and get some fresh air, meditate, or do some exercise that centers your mind. The moon is in its domicile of Cancer all day, and we start with the Sun opposing Jupiter at 1:02am EST. This casts energy over the whole day. This transit brings optimism and a feeling of luck with it. We may find it difficult to focus, as the paths of possibility all seem to open up. The moon squares Chiron at 1:14am and trines Mercury at 6:49am EST. Emotional swells or intense dreams could occur, but it helps to talk about them. The moon sextiles Uranus at 10:35am EST, which brings in positive changes to the home and family sector. Later, the moon squares its Nodes at 5:01pm and sextiles Venus at 5:49pm EST. We can feel a little frozen in place, but benefit from delegating and reaching out to others for help. The moon trines Neptune at 5:50pm, and Venus opposes Neptune at 6:05pm EST. We could struggle to achieve the object of our desire today. It could feel like the outcome we most want is slightly out of reach. We are invited to enjoy the process and the journey rather than solely focusing on the end result. The moon opposes Pluto at 11:27pm EST and then moves void of course until tomorrow. Energy could be spent after this final transit. It's important to rest up as much as you can. We could have very active dreams and lots of mental chatter today, so definitely don't skip meditation or whatever practices you have that calm your nerves.

Saturday, November 4th ~ Today begins with Saturn stationing direct at 3:02am EST. The lord of karma has been retrograde since June 17th, and it has traversed back to the very beginning of the sign of Pisces. At 0 degrees Pisces, Saturn now is free to trek forward and bring more of a future-oriented, goal setting approach. While Saturn is retrograde, a lot of past karma and memories are stirred up and reemerge at the forefront of our minds. We can feel confronted or even bombarded by this, but it is up to us to deal with them and process what they are trying to show us. This often involves taking responsibility for our own healing rather than trying to avoid it or blame it all on someone else. The moon's void period ends at 3:20am EST today as it enters Leo. This is bold and dynamic placement for the moon this weekend, and we could feel more like going out and being social. Mercury opposes Uranus at 12:05am EST, a transit we feel all day. This energy makes for fun and unusal ideas and methods of thinking. People might be more outspoken today and could say things just for shock value. The moon later squares Jupiter at 11:45pm EST, which could amplify sensitivities as we strive to grow and make who we are known and seen in the world. There could be some challenge to overcome in feeling more comfortable with the self.

Sunday, November 5th ~ The moon is in dramatic, warm Leo all day, casting an affectionate and energetic glow on things. It reaches its Last Quarter phase at 3:36am EST, drawing our attention to all that is unfinished. This moon phase lends itself well to completing projects and wrapping things up, and is not as great for new beginnings. The moon trines Chiron at 11:29am and squares Mars at 11:59am EST. It will be important to let out some anger or frustration today. Don't bottle it up, but look for a healthy outlet of expression. Finally, the moon squares Uranus at 9:11pm EST. We can experience highs and lows in our emotional world today. This is an impatient aspect which is always pushing us toward new experiences. It can be very cathartic to write and let things out that way.
