Monday, November 6th ~ Today starts with the Leo moon squaring Mercury at 2:25am EST, and then moving void of course for over 12 hours. We can feel a little overwhelmed when it comes to communicating our emotions, and could prefer to get lost in a passion project or tumble down a rabbit hole of interest. The moon trines its North Node at 4:00am EST, which brings inspiration and fresh insight. Venus trines Pluto at 9:38am EST, a transit we feel throughout the whole day. This intensifies and focuses our desire when it comes to romance. We could feel more sure of what we want in this sector, and bolder when it comes to asking for it. We could also experience this same level of certainty in our creative endeavors. The moon's void ends at 2:39am EST as it ingresses Virgo. Here in this sign, we benefit from clearing up mental clutter. Tidying up our work and living environment can help with this, but we also find relief from meditation. The moon opposes Saturn at 3:42pm EST which can leave us feeling somewhat separate or lonely even when we are around others. Later, Mercury trines Neptune at 8:36pm EST. This is a poetic, dreamy transit that lends itself well to flowery expression and open-hearted communication.
Tuesday, November 7th ~ The moon is in steady, humble Virgo all day. We find comfort in being in nature, and simplifying things as much as possible. The moon trines Jupiter at 10:43am EST which amplifies positivity and curiosity. We can use this transit as a jump off point to explore the world around us and find the bright side. The moon later enters its Waning Crescent phase at 9:53pm EST. This is an inward time that invites us to reflect on the previous moon cycle. We could feel more solitary this week, or need extra time to recharge after too much social interaction.
Wednesday, November 8th ~ Today is the busiest day of the week astrologically. We have a second full day with the moon in mutable earth sign Virgo. The day begins with the Virgo moon sextiling Mars at 4:29am EST. This energizes mind and body and allows a channel of energy to open up between them. Venus enters Libra today at 4:30am EST; it will be here in the sign it rules over until December 4th. Venus is expressive and charming in this sign. We can flow with this energy by being more diplomatic and fair during this month long period. We could receive extra artistic inspiration, particularly those with natal Venus in the signs Leo, Sagittarius, Gemini, Libra, or Aquarius. The moon trines Uranus at 9:40am EST, allowing us to see varying perspectives and open our minds and hearts to new concepts. Later in the day, the moon opposes Neptune at 5:20pm EST which introduces emotional confusion or a possible misunderstanding in a relationship. Mercury sextiles Pluto at 7:16pm EST, a transit we feel building for much of the day. This gifts us the ability to see beneath the surface and to notice small details with more ease. The moon trines Pluto at 11:20pm and sextiles Mercury at 11:55pm EST before moving void of course. Phew! Lots of lunar transits can create fluctuations in emotions, but these two also serve to strengthen intuition and observational skills.
Thursday, November 9th ~ The moon's void period ends at 3:07am EST as it enters Libra. The moon in Libra is charming, convivial, and pleasant. We tend to be more sensitive to conflict and harsh energy on these days. We seek out beauty in all its many forms, and want to socialize and mediate any issues that arise in our vicinity. Today is much quieter than yesterday, with only one major transit occurring at 5:22am EST as the moon conjuncts Venus. This is a loving, open-hearted transit. We will likely wish to share feelings with loved ones, and experience extravagance in the form of heated passion, beautiful outfits or possessions, or eating lots of lavish food. Be careful of overspending today.
Friday, November 10th ~ The moon is in cardinal air sign Libra all day, bringing more of a need for social connection. Mercury enters Sagittarius at 1:24am EST, where it will be until December 1st. Mercury here is brash and bold, and invites us to say whatever's on our minds without trying to get it perfect. Improvise more in your conversations and writing, and be more playful and exploratory in your research. Those with natal Mercury in Aries, Leo, Sagittarius, Libra, and Aquarius receive a mental boost. Mercury squares Saturn today at 10:07am EST, which can bring up misunderstandings caused by anxiety or overthinking. Remember to be discerning and present; not all negative thoughts are based in objective reality. The moon opposes Chiron at 11:25am EST, the last major transit of the day. We can feel vulnerable and talk ourselves out of listening to our intuition. It can be helpful to do a guided meditation and bring yourself back to the present moment through being in nature or going for a brisk walk today.
Saturday, November 11th ~ Today starts with the Libra moon conjuncting its South Node at 3:48am EST. This opens us up to memory in all its many forms. We experience profound swells of emotion and nostalgic images from the past. The moon squares Pluto at 10:05am EST which can make us act more impulsively, allowing for emotional catharsis to take place if we don't fight it. The moon is void of course from 10:06am until it enters Scorpio at 1:39pm EST. This void period is good for reclaiming your energy and centering yourself. With the moon in Scorpio, we are officially in the Dark Moon period and meet with our shadow. Mars opposes Uranus at 4:11pm EST, a transit we have felt building over the past couple days and will likely notice through the rest of the weekend. This is exciting, thrill-seeking energy that is quite electric and ungrounded. Simple, normal activities won't cut it; we're looking for all things new and different. Forget about being told what to do. Many people will rebel today and do exactly the opposite of what they're told. Give others room to be who they are for the best results.
Sunday, November 12th ~ Today is a simple celestial day, with the moon in Scorpio waning further as we approach tomorrow's New Moon. We will likely feel more introspective and thoughtful today as this builds. We are coming off of yesterday's Mars/Uranus opposition and could still seek out exciting activities, preferring to do them solo or to break away from our usual group. The moon opposes Jupiter in Taurus at 11:44am EST. We may be open and honest with our feelings, but could have a hard time restraining ourselves. What you see is what you get. It all comes spilling out today. This is the only major aspect for the day, leaving us with a quiet Dark Moon day as the sky continues to darken.
