March 11 - 17

 

Monday, March 11th ~ This is a very quiet week astrologically, with only two major transits occurring. We will have less planetary interference, but may be able to feel our own personal transits more acutely. On Monday, March 11th, we are out of the dark moon phase and may feel more energetic and social. Venus moves into Pisces at 5:50pm EST, where it will be until April 5th. Venus in this placement is dreamy, romantic, and fantasy-tinged. We can be more idealistic in relationships during this time, and are more likely to see what we want to see. There is a lot of beauty in this placement, as it brings increased affection and open-minded acceptance of others. We may be more intuitive in picking up on subtle cues from partners and friends. This is a deeply creative time, allowing for soft, easy expression. 

Thursday, March 14th ~ This is a very slow week celestially. Tuesday through Saturday have no major aspects occurring, with only lunar transits happening as the moon waxes its way through Aries, Taurus, and Gemini. On Thursday, March 14th, the Sun and Moon meet in sextile, with the moon at 24 degrees Taurus and the Sun at 24 degrees Pisces. This corresponds with the waxing crescent moon phase. This is a time for generation of excitement, new ideas, and planning for the next stage of our lives. We can use this period to set intentions that came about during last weekend's New Moon. The moon is exalted in Taurus, making this a powerful lunar period for manifestation and beginning to craft out what we want to experience this month and beyond.

Sunday, March 17th ~ On Sunday, March 17th, we experience one of the only major transits of the week. The Sun moves into a conjunction with Neptune in Pisces at 7:22am EST, an aspect which is palpable all day long. We are more sensitive under these skies, and can easily pick up on others' energies. This is a compassionate and loving transit which allows us to more readily understand where others are coming from. We may feel confused when it comes to decision making, as it is harder to assert our own individuality under this transit. Go with the flow, engage in artistic pursuits, and share love with those you care about today to get the most out of this time. This upcoming week is a lot more hectic astrologically, so it will be nice to simply unplug and drift away in a daydream with the Neptunian/Piscean energy today.
