Monday, March 4th ~ On Monday, March 4th, we have Mercury enter into a sextile with Uranus at 3:23pm EST. This is the first major aspect of the day, and invigorates the mind with curiosity and a sense of whimsy. We seek out new ideas, new stimulation, and can be a bit scattered and distracted. We can make use of this transit by allowing it to open new doors in the mind. Later in the day, Mars sextiles the North Node of the Moon at 7:35pm EST. This is a big transit that colors the week significantly. We have three major Mars transits happening over the next few days that are moving stagnation in our lives. This can feel somewhat chaotic but ultimately will allow for more breathing room and presence. Today's aspect increases endurance, willpower, and strength. We may wish to strength train or do exercises which activate the body's muscles. This is a time to set healthy goals that are born out of love for the self.
Wednesday, March 6th ~ On Wednesday, March 6th, we have the second of three major Mars transits this week. Mars and Chiron meet in sextile at 6:03pm EST. This is a deeply healing time which opens up the portal for profound physical change. If you have been suffering from an illness, ailment, or injury, you may receive some information which allows you to understand it on a deeper level and come to approach it from a place of compassion for your body. Often when we are in pain we focus so much on wanting that pain to be gone and can find it difficult to sit and communicate with our bodies. It can feel better to distract ourselves and focus on just about anything else. There is a message coming through which will help us to understand the ailment in a more profound manner. Pay attention to subtle messages. Be patient and kind with yourself. Treat your body as you would a dear friend, as it is a vessel that cares so much for you and works to keep you in this physical space in every moment. Friday, March 8th ~ Today, Friday, March 8th, we have Mercury moving into a conjunction with Neptune in the sign of Pisces at 10:05am EST. This is a deeply imaginative time. We connect to the higher mind and can channel in beautiful ideas for creative projects. Words flow out like poetry, and we prefer to be more abstract with our thinking. It can be tricky to be more logical and concise during this transit. Communication is fluid and peppered with whimsical language. The intuition is heightened and our dreams are more vivid. This can be a deeply inspiring time but can also bring a certain level of confusion if we try to apply too much critical thinking to it. It's a bit like trying to use rational thinking to understand a dream while we're in it. Dream logic is its own entity, and today's energy exists in that world.
Saturday, March 9th ~ We have a busy astrological day as we gear up for tomorrow's New Moon. The dark moon period is the quietest time of the month, and sends us on an inward journey. We may feel easily drained by social situations and need more time and space for ourselves. The first major aspect of the day starts at 5:55pm EST as Mars squares Uranus. This is the third big Mars transit this week, and clears out blocks from our lives in a dramatic way. Mars and Uranus square off and bring a reckless energy to the day. There is a need for freedom and adventure today, and some people will go to dramatic lengths to not be bored. Anger and frustration mount, especially when being told what to do by others. This transit is a little unstable and chaotic, so be careful over the weekend and be sure to sit with decisions for a bit rather than letting impulsivity take over completely. Later, the Sun sextiles Uranus at 6:01pm EST which only adds to the need for space and independence.

We close the day with Mercury entering Aries at 11:02pm EST. Mercury will be here until May 15th, a very long transit for the typically zippy planet. There will be a retrograde happening in April which will keep Mercury in this place for longer. Mercury here in Aries is brash, bold, and direct. There is no scheming behind the scenes here. People with this natal placement say what's on their mind and prefer brutal honesty to tiptoeing around other people's feelings. They tend to initiate ideas and conversation, and have a hunger for knowledge that keeps them constantly seeking information on topics that interest them.
