July 22 - 28

EARLY WEEK

Happy Leo season! On Monday the 22nd, the Sun shifts into Leo at 3:44am EST. The Sun is at home in Leo, the sign it rules over. This period highlights the vibrancy of self-expression, creativity, and generosity. Leo loves to shine its light on others, making them smile and profoundly affecting them. As a fixed fire sign, Leo brings consistent emotional expression. The next four weeks are an excellent time for working on creative projects, showing love to yourself and others, and expressing yourself more openly in speech and style. The moon is waning in Aquarius all day on Monday, adding to our need to be unique and true to our inner spirit.
.
On Tuesday the 23rd, the Sun opposes Pluto at 1:37am. This transit invites us to face challenges head-on and tackle issues directly. We may become more aware of adversaries or roadblocks, possibly fixating on them. Clearing clutter and freeing our path ahead can be beneficial. The moon moves into Pisces at 9:22am on Tuesday, bringing a gentle, dreamy, and artistic energy. We may feel more sensitive to others' energies.

LATE WEEK

The moon remains in Pisces all day on Wednesday the 24th, adding a dreamy quality to the day. We may feel like our head is in the clouds and be more sensitive to conflict. On Thursday the 25th, the moon moves into Aries at 10:52am EST and reaches its Waning Gibbous phase at 4:28pm. The Waning Gibbous phase is a good time to count our blessings, practice gratitude, and give ourselves some love. The Aries moon encourages us to blow off steam and not hold onto emotions, letting them out through journaling or venting to a friend who is willing to listen. Mercury enters Virgo later in the day at 6:41pm, where it will go retrograde next week. It will stay in Virgo until August 14th, when it backtracks into Leo. Mercury, at home in Virgo, encourages logical and orderly thinking. Detail-oriented conversations may be more helpful for exchanging information and having smooth talks. The Sun sextiles Mars to close out Thursday at 10:32pm, giving us a boost of energy and passion. Light competition can be enjoyable, and working towards goals with others can be particularly fun.

WEEKEND

On Friday the 26th, Chiron stations retrograde at 9:58am EST, and will remain retrograde until December 29th. During this time, we may be more inclined to connect with our inner child. Memories from the past may resurface, offering opportunities for important healing work. Engaging in activities that soothe the inner child, like watching an old favorite movie or revisiting childhood hobbies, can be very rewarding. (For me, it's roller skating or drawing in a notebook!) The moon stays in Aries all day, with a 19-hour void of course moon from 6:15pm on Friday until 1:22pm on Saturday. This period is ideal for solitary pursuits or restoring physical energy after a long week. On Saturday the 27th, the moon moves into Taurus at 1:22pm and enters its Last Quarter phase at 10:51pm. This phase encourages letting go, adjusting expectations, and trusting the larger energies at work in the universe. The moon remains in Taurus throughout Sunday, its place of exaltation, making it a perfect day for enjoying nature, eating delicious meals, listening to music, napping, and truly resting our bodies.
