July 29 - August 4

EARLY WEEK

On Monday the 29th, the moon starts the day in Taurus, encouraging us to move at a slower pace and savor our activities. At 5:27pm EST, the moon enters Gemini, awakening our curiosity. We may enjoy solving problems, doing puzzles, and learning new information. It can be rewarding to discuss our feelings from a more analytical or playful perspective. On Tuesday the 30th, the moon enters its Waning Crescent phase, allowing for greater reflection and introspection. Venus and Chiron trine at 3:54pm, creating a pleasant aspect that encourages intimacy and vulnerability. This aspect also helps with sharing creative ideas and thoughts with others. The astrology at the start of the week is quite pleasant and supportive, especially on Tuesday.

LATE WEEK

On Wednesday the 31st, the day begins with a trine between the Sun and the North Node of the moon at 4:48am EST. This invigorating trine aligns us with new opportunities and helps open doors. Stepping out of our comfort zone may lead to great experiences. At 11:19pm on Wednesday, the moon moves into Cancer, the sign it rules. The Cancer moon is sentimental, soft, gentle, and intuitive. Until Saturday morning, we may wish to spend time with family or close friends and could notice our intuition is more accurate. On Thursday the 1st, Mars and the North Node form a sextile at 11:18pm, aiding us in moving toward goals and providing a surge of energy to pursue them. This transit can help us gain physical strength and can also revitalize stagnant areas.

WEEKEND

On Friday the 2nd, Venus squares Uranus at 9:26am EST, potentially introducing surprises in relationships. Navigating these changes with others can either strengthen or weaken bonds, depending on how well we adapt together. The moon in Cancer on Friday assists with deep emotional connections. On Saturday, the moon enters Leo at 7:09am and transitions into its Dark Moon phase. From now until Monday evening is the most inward time of the month, ideal for meditation, quiet recharging, and self-care. The New Moon in Leo perfects at 7:13am on Sunday the 4th. This moon is excellent for shedding negative self-thoughts. As Leo is a fire sign, it can be helpful to write down negative beliefs and burn them safely in a fire. If that isn't possible, light a candle and imagine the thoughts being burned by the flame. Replace these thoughts with kind words about yourself for the next lunar cycle. Later on Sunday, Venus moves into Virgo at 10:22pm, where it will remain until August 29th. Venus in Virgo is detail-oriented and can help with creative fine detail work. It is also great for acts of service in love, showing up for loved ones, and helping to make their lives easier. These practical gifts can ease burdens and be greatly appreciated during this time.
