August 12 - 18

EARLY WEEK

On Monday the 12th, the Scorpio Moon reaches its First Quarter phase, bringing a surge of focus to our future plans. We may become more aware of lingering tasks and feel an internal push to complete them. The Scorpio Moon heightens our intensity and encourages us to lean more on our intuition.

On Tuesday the 13th, the Moon moves into Sagittarius at 6:00am EST. Sagittarius Moon days are ideal for adventures, trying new things, and engaging with life in a curious, playful manner. The Moon remains in Sagittarius until Thursday afternoon.

LATE WEEK

On Wednesday the 14th, with the Moon still in Sagittarius, the day takes on an adventurous tone, making us more inclined towards philosophical and spiritual exploration. Mars and Jupiter align in a conjunction at 11:21am EST, a transit we've been feeling building since the start of the week and will continue to experience into the weekend. This alignment boosts our physical energy, aids in quick healing, and enhances confidence and courage. We may feel more inspired to take action and notice that luck seems to be on our side. This can increase our strength, though it may also lead to restlessness if we lack an outlet for excess energy. Later in the day, at 8:15pm, Mercury retrogrades back into Leo, where it will remain until August 28th. This retrograde phase in Leo might cause our true intentions to get lost in translation, leading to potential miscommunications or feelings of being misunderstood. It's important to be as clear, honest, and direct as possible.

On Thursday the 15th, the Moon reaches its Waxing Gibbous phase in Sagittarius, boosting spirits and excitement for future plans. The Sun trines Chiron at 1:12pm, supporting the display of our talents and enhancing our confidence in showcasing our unique strengths. This transit can also aid in healing grief. Later, at 1:51pm, the Moon enters Capricorn, bringing focus, discipline, and a strategic mindset, and will stay in this sign until Saturday evening.

WEEKEND

On Friday the 16th, the Moon remains in Capricorn, offering a grounding influence on our emotions. Mars squares Saturn at 1:30am EST, a transit we've been sensing building over the past few days and will continue to feel into the weekend and next week. This aspect may bring frustrations, feelings of stagnation, and potential annoyances with obstacles to progress. Some may become overly cautious and detail-oriented, while others might feel irritable about restrictions. This transit should dissipate by Tuesday the 20th.

The Moon moves into Aquarius on Saturday the 17th, where it will stay until Monday evening. The Aquarius Moon emphasizes independence, innovative thinking, and engagement in humanitarian or charitable efforts.

On Sunday the 18th, Mercury forms a square with Uranus at 5:46am. As Mercury is retrograde, we might experience nervousness or overactive thoughts. We may dwell on past events or seek unconventional solutions to long-standing problems. Later, at 9:58pm, the Sun conjuncts Mercury, providing clarity and insight. This transit can help us gain a better understanding of our desires and offers fresh perspectives as Mercury aligns with the heart of the Sun.
