August 26 - September 1

EARLY WEEK
At the week's dawn, the Moon dances through the airy realms of Gemini. During this time, we awaken to a surge of curiosity, delighting in the exploration of new skills and the acquisition of fresh knowledge. Conversations about our inner landscapes become more engaging, and we might discover ways to express our emotions that feel lighter and less intense.

The Moon reaches its Last Quarter phase on Monday the 26th at 5:25am EST. This phase, marked by the tension of a square between the Sun and the Moon, can bring a sense of stress, highlighting tasks that pile up or a pressure to achieve. Embrace this as a catalyst for motivation, not as a reason to beat yourself up. Treat yourself with compassion as you navigate these challenges.

On Tuesday the 27th at 3:23am, Venus aligns in a harmonious trine with Uranus, casting a spell of surprise and excitement across the day. Expect unexpected twists in relationships or plans that invigorate and shake up the energy. New connections may emerge, potentially significant, or an artistic venture might unlock a new realm of creativity. With the Moon still in Gemini, these changes are likely to fascinate rather than disturb, offering a sense of intrigue rather than upheaval.

LATE WEEK

On Wednesday the 28th, the Moon glides into Cancer at 4:47am EST, finding solace in its own domain. Here, the veil between our emotions and our hearts thins, making it easier to tap into our feelings. Nostalgia and sentimentality could wash over us, drawing us closer to the comforts of home and family or chosen family. Later, the Moon's face is hidden further as it enters its Waning Crescent phase at 3:50pm EST, also known as the Balsamic Moon - a time for quiet introspection, gentle self-care, and restful solitude.

As Venus casts its gaze opposite Neptune at 4:24pm EST, a dreamy haze envelops the day. Boundaries may dissolve, leaving us more susceptible to absorbing the energies around us. Logic might seem elusive, and we could overlook subtle warnings or hidden truths. It’s wise to seek a second opinion, as clarity might come more easily to you when reflecting on others' situations rather than your own. Good news! Mercury’s retrograde shadow lifts as it stations direct at 5:13pm EST at 21 degrees Leo. Though Mercury will need a few weeks to retrace its path and exit its retrograde shadow, expect a surge in mental clarity and smoother communication over the coming days.

On Thursday the 29th, Venus enters Libra at 9:22am EST, one of its celestial homes, where it will remain until September 22nd. In Libra, Venus thrives, guiding us toward harmony, compromise, and balanced relationships. This period favors social gatherings, elegance, and artistic inspiration. At 10:32am EST, Venus forms a trine with Pluto, aiding deep, transformative connections and enhancing personal magnetism. Encounters during this time may prove profoundly enriching, benefiting both parties with their intensity and depth.

WEEKEND

On Friday the 30th, the Moon ingresses the fiery realm of Leo at 1:09pm EST, where it will stay until Sunday night. The Leo Moon stokes the fire so we can feel and express our emotions grandly. Embrace this energy by showering others with affection, compliments, and tokens of appreciation. Let your love and creativity flow freely, illuminating your interactions with warmth and enthusiasm.

The weekend remains relatively serene until Sunday, a day charged with potent celestial events. At 11:17am EST on September 1st, Uranus stations retrograde at 27 degrees Taurus. This transformative phase, lasting until January 30th when Uranus returns to 23 degrees Taurus, ushers in deep internal shifts and energetic changes within our inner landscapes. A yearning for greater freedom and significant personal growth may arise, especially for Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius. Uranus will retrograde back to align with the fixed star Algol in October, marking a period ripe for change and transformation on a global scale. This energy echoes back to the events of July, when Uranus first activated this point.

As if that wasn't enough for one day, Pluto retrogrades back into Capricorn at 8:08pm on Sunday. This significant transit marks Pluto’s return to Capricorn after a sojourn to Aquarius which began earlier this year. Pluto’s presence in Capricorn, a position it held from 2008 until earlier this year, signals the conclusion of karmic themes from this 15-year era. Expect a focus on the transformation of global finances, security systems, and enduring traditions. As Pluto eventually moves back into Aquarius in late November, anticipate sweeping changes favoring revolutionary ideals and humanitarian values. In the coming months, we have a chance to address unfinished business and decide which traditions to embrace or release.

Finally, at 11:48pm on Sunday, the Moon transitions into the earthy and analytical sign of Virgo. It will remain here throughout Monday and Tuesday, encouraging a time of meticulous reflection and practical evaluation.
