Friday, July 10th - day begins in Mansion of Tefnut / enters Mansion of Geb at 7am EST
This morning the Taurus moon sextiles Neptune and Mars before 10am. This is a weird effect and can make it difficult to wake up or connect to the real world. Dreams could be unusually vivid or memorable. Once the Mars contact hits at around 10am there is a sudden rush of energy and enthusiasm. It might be a bit like a cloud is lifting and you are finally able to get things done. This evening the moon trines Pluto, which helps with focus and understanding situations in full. A lot of problems regarding home life or the people we live with can be solved tonight. Mercury and the North Node meet in square at 11:31pm EST. Communication issues come to a head, particularly issues that seem to keep on repeating in our lives. The only way out of these circular traps is to change the way we've been behaving and try to put ourselves in the other person's shoes, even if it seems as though they are definitely in the wrong. The day starts out in the Mansion of Tefnut. At 7am the moon enters the Mansion of Geb. This is the realm of clear sight. Here we are able to see into others' true intentions, and we are also able to form a valuable picture of what it is we want in life. This is a favorable mansion for romantic encounters and friendships. It is not the best day for building physical things. The ancients believed it to be the worst day of the month for working with wells, sewers and other water-related structures. I'm not sure how much that applies to modern life but thought I would mention it all the same.
Saturday, July 11th - day begins in Mansion of Geb / enters Mansion of Nut at 6am EST
The Taurus moon sextiles the sun and Chiron this morning, giving us energy and vigor. Some of last night's communication snafus are eased under the benevolent influences of these transits. Chiron will offer us a chance to heal wounds and begin to work toward something that feels better. Later in the morning/afternoon the moon squares Jupiter and Venus and opposes Saturn before moving void of course at 5:53pm EST. This is a bit of a reckless set of transits, so be careful. Reason is abandoned and actions are taken out of a need to explore and broaden horizons without much thought. Aquarius, Scorpio, Taurus and Leo are hit the hardest. It's okay to take things as they come, but try not to do anything too out of character as the consequences could be fairly intense. The moon comes out of its void and enters Gemini at 8:17pm EST. Things cool down a bit for the rest of the evening. The moon enters the Mansion of Nut this morning at 6am. This is the realm of adventure. Under this mansion people grow more playful, excitable and expansive. It is good to keep on the go today, or at the very least keep your mind busy and at play. This was considered one of the most favorable mansions for health and body by the ancients.
Sunday, July 12th - day begins in Mansion of Nut / enters Mansion of Osiris at 4am EST
The Gemini moon trines the North Node this morning. We are given opportunities to connect with friends and partners who ignite our inner fire and show us the light of our purpose. The people we interact with today are all reflecting back at us what our most hidden desires in life are. Be mindful of this throughout the day. The moon squares Neptune this afternoon which keeps us rooted in presence. Our minds are active and yet focused on what is rather than what might be. Tonight the Sun squares Uranus at 10:52pm EST. This creates sudden change, often completely out of the blue. Many people will react with stubborn force, and this is not the best way to handle this transit. Even if the news comes as a blow to you, try your best to breathe and wait to see what happens next. If you react too quickly you may end up making things worse. The moon is in the Mansion of Osiris for much of the day. This is the mansion of communion and partnership. We are reminded to spread harmony and peace through our interactions with others today. The idea of the ancients is that more could get done together than alone on this particular day of the month. Of course, Osiris is the god of the underworld. Ancient Egyptians believed him to be the "lord of love" or the most merciful judge of souls who had passed. This is the reason this mansion represents communion and kindness and why it is believed those who practice these traits today (and all days, really) will be rewarded.
Monday, July 13th - day begins in Mansion of Osiris / enters Mansion of Isis at 5am EST
This morning the Gemini moon meets Uranus in sextile and then promptly squares Chiron. This is a mentally active type of day where the mind cannot quiet itself, particularly for those individuals with a lot of Gemini, Pisces or Aries in their charts. New ideas are being formed and beliefs could change as a result of the people we find ourselves with today. Chiron will force us to address issues within our own friendships and inner circles. If there is something you've been avoiding in these arenas you will likely have to face it today. This isn't a bad thing and will clear the air for most. This afternoon Mercury trines Neptune at 3:13pm EST. Conversations take on a gentler, if less focused air. The emotional currents of Mercury in Cancer and Neptune in Pisces join together. If you are having trouble with the Chiron transits from earlier in the day, then wait until this afternoon to talk it out. Emotions could be displayed pretty openly, but the tone of the afternoon is less harsh and angry. Conversations regarding writing, poetry or other artistic projects could prove fruitful later in the day. Tonight we have some lighter transits in the form of moon sextile Jupiter, Sun trine Chiron and moon sextile Venus. The biggest issue of this mansion is that under its influence we tend to wear happy faces even if we are not pleased underneath it all. We might think we are doing those around us a favor by pretending to be happy, but this type of dishonesty often comes back around to make things worse. Celebrate your loved ones today but also be honest with your feelings and thoughts. Finding the balance between the two is the work for today.

The moon comes out of its void at 2:15am EST, entering Cancer. Dreams become less scattered and more based on memory. If you are interested in past-life recall or remembering experiences from early childhood, today is one of the best days to make an attempt. Consider hypnosis or guided meditation. Venus square Saturn early this morning makes it a challenge to settle down and get to work when it comes to art, music, decorating or relationship centric things. Relationships are playful and fun today but many individuals could be avoiding dealing with responsibilities. The moon squares the North Node at around 8am this morning, which reinforces the themes of escaping work. Many people could call in sick to their jobs or go on an unexpected excursion. Tonight the moon trines Neptune, bringing in a spiritual feeling of well-being. Tonight is the perfect evening for cleaning your home (both physically and energetically!) by bringing in some new plants, smudging with sage or redecorating. Today has a spiritual overtone that is ideal for awareness and synchronizing ideas. The moon is in the Mansion of Seth for the majority of the day. This is the mansion of bravery. Here we are called upon to be courageous and tough and to confront conflict rather than shirking it. The result is said to be goodwill and friendship, but only if we can confront situations. Wednesday, July 15th - day begins in Mansion of Seth / enters Mansion of Nephthys at 2am EST
Today is a very active day astrologically. Moon conjunct Mercury early this morning gives us unusually aware communication skills. You may find others finishing your sentences, particularly if your Sun, moon or Mercury is in Cancer, Pisces or Scorpio. The moon conjuncts Mars and opposes Pluto before 5am, which gives us lots of energy and physical stamina but the tendency to pick a fight if others don't agree or get in our way. The emotional Cancer moon doesn't want to fight at all, and so will respond passive aggressively or through sadness. Mercury opposition Pluto at 7:38am EST reinforces this theme for the day and makes it a challenge to gather information from others that isn't skewed by emotion. If this wasn't enough, Mars and Pluto then meet in opposition at 10:12am! Pluto is looking for a fight today and is probably going to get it. There will be a lot of butting heads when it comes to authority, bosses, leaders and other different levels of power. In relationships there could be issues with someone thinking they are in the right when the other disagrees. Moon square Uranus this afternoon will be the last big hurrah of the day in terms of fights. This will cause many to finally react with honesty in a spontaneous and useful way. Today is the New Moon, and so we are working up to that by releasing all the annoyances and emotional build-up we've been carrying from the last month. Thursday, July 16th - day begins in Mansion of Nephthys / enters Mansion of Horus at 2am EST
Mercury conjunct Mars occurs at 12:13am EST. This is the "talk all night" type of aspect, where you stay up until sunrise unable to stop chatting with a friend or loved one. It's a great aspect for writers or those who are looking to get something off their chest. Talk it out today. The moon and Saturn are in trine this morning, allowing us to get serious and focused. Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces are able to get things done and taken care of. The others signs will also be inspired but may have to work a bit more to really check things off their to-do lists. The moon moves void of course from 7:25am until 10:16am EST when it enters Leo. The morning really kicks off then and a little bit of fiery lightness fills the air. The remainder of the day is fairly quiet aside from a moon/North Node sextile at around 4pm. This afternoon has an 'all the world's a stage' type of vibe. Excitement is palpable and many will show off things they've been working on, or begin to realize their own visions. The North Node sextile gives us a boost in confidence. The moon is in the Mansion of Horus for almost all of the day. This is the realm of innovation. This Uranus-ruled mansion is ideal for getting inspired by beautiful and meaningful things and using them to create something even better.
