Friday, August 28th - Day begins in Mansion of Anuket / Enters Mansion of Shepes at 3pm EST
This is a week of many oppositions. Oppositions bring with them the feeling of hitting walls over and over again. There are ways around these walls, but first you need to stop hitting them and begin focusing on a way to navigate them. The day begins with the moon opposing Mars a little after midnight and opposing Venus at 7am EST. Issues arise with physical health or nervousness, and memories may be a bit hard to access. Relationships can be either be too hot or too cold today. Balance is absolutely necessary. Mercury moves into conjunction with the North Node at 10:24am, encouraging honesty and doing the right thing. Consider being clear and upfront with others, as you will likely heal any issues at their start. There is a moon/Uranus sextile at 1pm, which brings with it intense electric Aquarian energy. Ideas come in like rapid fire and there might not be enough time to complete them all. This makes for a chaotic, dizzy day. The moon shifts into the Mansion of Shepes tonight, god of tombs and pyramids. Building is encouraged today. Action begins as catalysts enter. Think of blockades and obstacles as the fuel that feeds your fire. Health, medicine and holistic healing are all favorable this afternoon and evening.
Saturday, August 29th - Day begins in Mansion of Shepes / Enters Mansion of Min at 12pm EST
The moon moves into square with Saturn at 2am, which makes it difficult to commit to tasks or things that need our attention. We have a void of course period from 3:04am EST until 4:52am EST when the moon moves into Pisces. Emotions run high this morning, particularly as Mars and Pluto are inconjunct at 6:28am. Tempers flare up and others may feel as though they are unappreciated or their leadership skills are in compromise. The moon moves into opposition with Jupiter at about 10am, which could make some feel the need to run from their emotions. It actually is a fairly favorable day for travel, despite all the 'negative' aspects. The full moon hits at about noon EST. The Pisces/Virgo duality is interesting and is focused on individual performance vs moving the group forward as a unit. You may notice this theme coming up in various ways today. Try to hear all sides and let go of any intense opinions. Tonight the moon conjuncts Neptune at 6pm EST, which will make some dreamy and out there. Imaginations run wild and it's a good night for creating or using the right side of your brain. We are in the Mansion of Min this afternoon and evening, god of sexual fertility and men. The full moon is actually considered the least fertile day of the month, so despite this being a 'sexual fertility' mansion, it is not necessarily a good day to conceive. (Take this with a grain of salt though, of course!) Harvesting and gardening is favored, as is volunteer work.
Sunday, August 30th - Day begins in Mansion of Min / Enters Mansion of Tawaret at 9am EST
It's a day with few aspects. The Pisces moon sextiles Pluto at 2am EST, which will help aid any leadership battles that were going on yesterday. Teamwork can proceed as normal (except for Gemini and Sagittarius, who seem to be feeling more stubborn). Emotions have depth today and this depth can easily be explored should you wish to dive down. Attempt lucid dreaming if you are interested. The moon and Chiron are conjunct at 12pm EST, which can make some a little weepy or draw attention to past pain. The evening is free of aspects, so as the day progresses things should ease up a bit (unless your personal transits are messy right now). We spend most of the day in the Mansion of Tawaret, the last mansion of the cycle. Tawaret was the goddess of women and mothers. Travel and protection are favored today. Being present brings safety as you move through the world. It's not a great day to begin a new financial endeavor, but you could make money in a way that is familiar to you.
Monday, August 31st - Day begins in Mansion of Tawaret / Enters Mansion of Ra at 5am EST
The moon trines Saturn at 2am EST, bringing an attention to detail and a more serious, refined energy. Some may burn the midnight oil in an attempt to catch up with tasks that have become piled in the queue. The moon turns void of course at 2:55am, where it will stay until 4:34am EST when it moves into Aries. Some of the weekend's emotional intensity will burn away today in favor of action and movement. The moon opposes the North Node at 7am and opposes Mercury at 11am EST. The Arian moon is like a ram colliding today and some may feel the effects (particularly Libra). Fast talking and quick, unsteady motion occurs this morning and afternoon. If you can't keep up with the whirlwind, you may prefer to stay in and recharge... it will likely be a fast-paced sort of day if you venture out. The Sun opposes Neptune at 11:37am EST. Imaginations run wild and it may be hard to live in the material world as the day progresses. Be wary of impulse buys and spontaneous decision making. The rest of the day is free from aspects and yet continues to move along at a steady pace. Ground yourself by walking barefoot, being in nature or spending time alone. This will assist you in using the day's energy to your advantage. The moon is in the Mansion of Ra for most of the day, the first mansion of the lunar cycle. Similar to 'The Fool' tarot card, here we run out into the world and take it in as a child might, with brand new eyes. This is useful and inspirational but can also cause us to act without second thoughts. Keep yourself in the moment and remain down to earth.
Tuesday, September 1st - Day begins in Mansion of Ra / Enters Mansion of Shu at 1am EST / Enters Mansion of Tefnut at 10pm EST
Venus conjuncts Mars this morning at 1:04am EST. Relationship energy gets a boost, but the outcome could greatly depend on your personal chart. Physical relationships are heightened and chemistry between individuals is more pronounced. Magnetic attraction pulls some together. Tempers and anger are also a possible result of this transit. The Aries moon squares Pluto (2am EST) and trines Mars (5am EST) this morning, which adds fuel to the fire. Some may get possessive and jealous. As the moon slips into conjunction with Uranus at noon, you may start to see some interesting shifts in people. The spontaneous energy from yesterday carries over, particularly in patterns of speech. The things others say may come as a shock. The moon is void of course beginning at 12:39pm EST, where it will stay until tomorrow morning. This is the longest void period we've had in a little while, and it may be an interesting experience. As with any void, it is recommended that you hold off on certain decisions or at least make sure you've had enough time to properly decide before doing so. The moon moves through the Mansion of Shu at 1am. Here we are encouraged to rely on instinct. Trust your gut and see where it takes you. The day always feels more active than normal when we're in the Mansion of Shu. We enter the Mansion of Tefnut at 10pm EST, which I will get into more in tomorrow's forecast.
Wednesday, September 2nd - Day begins in Mansion of Tefnut / Enters Mansion of Geb at 8pm EST
The moon comes out of its void at 5:03am EST and moves into Taurus. The flighty energy of the past two days begins to burn off as the earthy Taurean moon takes root. This afternoon the moon trines Jupiter at about noon. It's an ideal day to be outside and in nature. Exploration is encouraged, and you will likely feel confined if you have to spend too much time in the same place, or indoors. Jupiter requires us to expand today. If you are stuck at work, school or another location, consider expansion through imagination and learning. We can explore in the vast wilderness of our psyches as well. The moon sextiles Neptune at 7pm this evening, bringing along artistic inspiration as well as spiritual opportunities. There is a loose grand trine around 10pm EST tonight, involving trines between the Sun, moon and Pluto. This earthy trine is ideal for group work, being seen in public or performing arts of any kind. The beginning of the day is spent in the Mansion of Tefnut, the goddess of water. Trust in the flow of the day. Faith and relinquishing of worry is rewarded today. The moon continues its journey tonight and enters the Mansion of Geb at 8pm EST. This offers us a peek into others' minds. Psychic activity is heightened, but so are our powers of observation. You can see into others' intentions tonight, particularly if you are a Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn, Pisces or Cancer. It is not an ideal night for water travel.
Thursday, September 3rd - Day begins in Mansion of Geb / Enters Mansion of Nut at 6pm EST
The Grand Trine from last night carries over into the early hours of the day. Consider setting your intention for the coming week this morning (or last night). The grounded, earthy trine is ideal for setting goals into motion. The moon squares Venus and Mars this morning at 5am and 8am EST respectively. Venus retrograde flares up in what may be its final hurrah (it's over this weekend). Insecurities and tempers play a part. Don't get too hung up on trying to prove things to others. Their opinions are not the magic solution to your problems. The moon sextiles Chiron this afternoon, which again will exacerbate wounds from the past. The trap is that you may not even know its a past hurt being reopened. Be aware and try not to rope others into past dramas that you're continuing to play out. Tonight at 11pm EST Mercury and Neptune are inconjunct. Communication hits a wall. There is almost no point in dealing with others who are on another wavelength tonight, as it will be a circular conversation that goes nowhere. Pisces and Leo may feel baffled by others. Some will be unsympathetic, possibly even rude. The moon is in the Mansion of Geb until 6pm EST (see yesterday's description), when it enters the Mansion of Nut. The star and cosmos goddess rules over expansivity and playfulness. Despite interpersonal issues it's important to keep a light heart. There is room for magic and excitement this evening, if you can break through the wall of energy. Of course, the wall was conjured by your own design and so you (and only you) have the tools to push through it.
