Friday, September 4th - Day begins in Mansion of Nut / Enters Mansion of Osiris at 4pm EST
The day begins with the Taurus moon opposing Saturn at 6am EST before moving void of course at 6:21am. This is like a stubborn act of defiance. Strong opinions will be voiced and stances will be taken with little to no reason to back them up. The void ends at 7:48am EST when the moon moves into Gemini. This will add a little lightness to the day and will allow freedom of movement and of thought. The effect is very gradual, so if the day started off super intense for you, you may notice it evening out by late afternoon. Even if you don't agree with others today there is room for healthy debate. Devil's advocates seem to pop out of the woodworks. The moon trines the North Node at 10am, which allows for conversations that better propel us toward understanding our passions. These conversations could be negative, but they will serve to remind us of what we'd rather be doing with our lives. Tonight the moon squares Jupiter at 5pm and Neptune at 10pm EST. Talking in circles is likely. Don't get too caught up in the actual words those around you are saying, because the energy is lending itself to rambling and pointless blather tonight. The important thing is to look for the motivation or feeling below the topics being covered. The moon is in the Mansion of Osiris from 4pm onward, god of the underworld and afterlife. Osiris reminds us to judge others with mercy and compassion. It is impossible in human form to be completely non-judgmental, as we are coming at the world with our own unique perspective and have no choice but to weigh the things and people in our lives against that particular backdrop. That doesn't mean we have to condemn people for their choices, and we are always welcome to widen our own perspective. Osiris is the reminder for the day, to look at others and open yourself up with compassion. The only person who can change your perspective is you.
Saturday, September 5th - Day begins in Mansion of Osiris / Enters Mansion of Isis at 3pm EST
The moon trines Mercury shortly after midnight. It may be a challenge to get to sleep, particularly for those with Gemini, Libra or Aquarius-rich charts. The mind is turning and is full of ideas! If you do fall asleep, your dreams could be particularly active and detailed. Consider writing them down upon waking so you don't forget. The Gemini moon squares the Virgo sun at 6am and then sextiles Venus in Leo at 9am EST. This energy is childlike and doesn't want to focus. That is okay. It is a playful day, so if you have the chance consider taking some time to do something that will make YOU happy. Don't think too much about things that need to get done, or what others require of you. This afternoon the moon sextiles Mars, bringing along another burst of mental energy. Follow through may not be at an ideal high, but there is a lot of excitement and enthusiasm brewing. This evening the moon squares Chiron and sextiles Uranus at 6pm before moving void of course at 7:04pm, where it will stay until tomorrow afternoon. There are a lot of aspects today, which is why it's important to honor yourself and free your mind from the idea that others require something from you, at least for a short while today. Even if you can't take hours off from your life, consider stepping outside for a few moments or allowing yourself the permission to read a book (or anything else you like). Tonight after the moon goes void, the Sun moves into trine with Pluto at 7:10pm. This is a fairly important transit as it aligns us with any issues that have arisen as a result of Pluto retrograde. The Plutonian retrograde cycle is almost complete (just 3 weeks left) and so you may be feeling tensions rising to a head. These tensions all relate to the concept of darkness that we try to cover up within ourselves, or the ideas of power and control. The Sun/Pluto trine tonight will stoke this fire one more time and will give us the gift of solar illumination so we can truly see the way out of our problems, should we choose to look. It is always our choice. Be watchful and be open to changing your mind. The moon is in the Mansion of Isis from 3pm onward, goddess of magic and marriage. It's actually quite a lovely day to get married, or have some sort of romantic connection. This feeling of oneness extends to our dear friends and family members too. While we are encouraged to unite with them, we have to remember to honor our own needs at the same time. Keep this in mind throughout the day.
Sunday, September 6th - Day begins in Mansion of Isis / Enters Mansion of Seth at 2pm EST
Venus moves direct this morning at 4:30am. This weekend has been the culmination of energies that have been slowly building over the past couple of months. You may notice that activity and emotions have been heightening in intensity, getting more and more demanding of our attentions. This morning a lot of that energy is released, much like a slow release of air from a balloon. As Venus moves out of its retrograde, we may find that we are waking up in the present world like one would wake from a dream. We are not out of the 'shadow' period of retrograde yet, meaning Venus will have to move through everything it has just retrograded through once more. The important part is that we are now pushing forward again and not having to take multiple steps back. The moon comes out of its void at 1:40pm and moves into the sign of Cancer. Home and family are favored. The moon squares the North Node at 4pm and sextiles Jupiter at 11pm. Sometimes on days when the moon is in Cancer, we can find ourselves staying closer to home, but that is not the case today. It is more likely that we will venture out with our loved ones close to us (or at the very least, they will be on our minds as we are out in the world). It's a nice day for adventuring or going out in nature. The moon is in the Mansion of Seth from 2pm onward, which is considered the best day of the month for communication with animals and nature. Any issues you've been having with pets could be looked at from a different angle today. Often on days when the moon is in this mansion, we are required to be brave in some capacity.
Monday, September 7th - Day begins in Mansion of Seth / Enters Mansion of Nephthys at 2pm EST
This morning the Cancer moon trines Neptune at 5am, bringing in an introspective and dreamy feeling. It may be easy to get lost in your own thoughts, or in vivid fantasies or visions. It is important during this influence to remember that your perception may almost be in an altered state, so it might be wise to wait until later in the day to make any sort of lasting decision. The moon squares Mercury later this morning, which can cause our words to not line up with our true feelings or motives. Deception is at work today and those who choose to veil their words or intent will be able to do so with more ease than is typical. Be mindful. This afternoon the moon opposes Pluto at 3pm EST, which further exacerbates the ability some have to hide in plain sight. This is a strange sort of day, with many twists and turns. It is important not to get too sucked up into any kind of interpersonal dramatics, as they will likely dissolve tonight. It may be like waking up from a dream. The moon sextiles the Sun at 4pm, which finally brings in light to the shadows being cast. Wait until this time to make decisions, if possible. Tuesday, September 8th - Day begins in Mansion of Nephthys / Enters Mansion of Horus at 2pm EST
The moon trines Chiron and squares Uranus early this morning, at 2am EST. We are driven to make significant changes today, even if these changes appear to be minute to others. Subtle shifts are underway, and these will carry more weight than realized. Do your best to shake free of routine today, if at all possible. Mars and Chiron are inconjunct at 2:21am EST. Here, we are reminded to not be too impatient with ourselves. If things aren't happening the way we'd like, or if it seems like we are regressing back to old patterns, it is easy to feel defeated or frustrated. The energy of the day seems a reminder that things are shifting, but it takes time for this groundwork to be completed. This afternoon Mars and Uranus meet in trine at 3:53pm. This trine is the catalyst for those significant changes I mentioned earlier. Many will be pushed out of their comfort zone (and find it is not as uncomfortable as they might have guessed!). Tonight the moon trines Saturn before moving void of course at 9:28pm EST. The Saturn trine makes some shift toward seriousness or a brief somber mood (particularly Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces). The moon emerges from its void in a blaze in the sign of Leo at 10:36pm. Everything that has been lying below the surface in subtlety will emerge with color and light tonight. It will be hard to hide your true feelings, and the Mars/Uranus trine that is still going strong will make for bold action and showy gestures. We are in the Mansion of Horus, god of war, from 2pm EST onward. This does not necessarily mean it is a day for fighting or battles (though some may go down that path). It does, however, give us the tendency to strategize and charge forward. The point of the day is to plant the seeds for definite, demonstrative growth.
Wednesday, September 9th - Day begins in Mansion of Horus / Enters Mansion of Imseti at 4pm EST
There are only two major aspects today, which allows us a bit more room for lightness. The moon sextiles the North Node at 1am EST, which gives us the ability to create from the heart and soul. Any projects undertaken this evening or morning will allow us to show off our most authentic selves. It is possible we could collaborate with others today. This is significant; pay attention to those around you in the early part of the day, as they carry important messages of the world you are attracting to yourself at the present time. Mercury and Pluto meet in square at 3:29pm EST, which can cause communication issues between close friends or those who have been keeping secrets. There is a definite need to come clean today, or to catch up with those you've lost touch with. Walls may be hit during these conversations. Try not to rush them too much, and instead exercise patience and compassion. The moon enters the Mansion of Imseti, the funeral god, at 4pm EST. It is a day for endings and beginnings. We are forced to abandon old structures we've built and move deeper, expanding our ideas of what is possible. This can sometimes be painful but can result in something better than we previous imagined.
Thursday, September 10th - Day begins in Mansion of Imseti / Enters Mansion of Hapi at 5pm EST
The moon sextiles Mercury after midnight, which helps to heal a bit of the communication void from yesterday. You may get a regretful message from someone who you haven't been seeing eye to eye with, or feel sorry about your own actions. The moon/Venus conjunction a few hours later is excellent for romance and creative abilities. Things are grandiose and theatrical, much how Leo likes them. This afternoon the moon trines Uranus at 12pm and conjuncts Mars at 2pm EST. The theatrics from earlier will continue throughout the day. Feelings are bold and larger than life. Gestures are almost comically big. Romance is alive, but with it comes jealousy. Tonight the moon shifts into the Mansion of Hapi. At this point things will lighten a bit as empathy is easier to grasp. Sharing with others is favored. It's an ideal night for lucid dreaming or receiving messages in sleep. Anyone with an Aquarius moon (particularly 21-30 degrees Aquarius... check your chart if you're not sure) may have a struggle with being understood.
