Friday, August 7th - Day begins in Mansion of Geb / Enters Mansion of Nut at 11am EST
The day begins with the moon sextiling Chiron at 11am EST. Chiron is currently in retrograde so this will manage to trigger a lot of issues for many, particularly those with a 1st house Chiron or with Sun/Moon in Pisces. These issues all relate to past pain and hurt. It is important to allow ourselves the freedom to move through these emotions rather than pretending they aren't or weren't a part of us. This is the only way to let go of them completely. This afternoon Mercury enters Virgo at 3:14pm EST. It is important now to be diligent in our communication because lengthy, wordy talk will not get very far. There is a certain amount of restraint that will be necessary when it comes to how much we choose to share. Many will prefer to work alone in the coming weeks, or in very small groups. Tonight the moon squares Venus and opposes Saturn, which will trigger Venus retrograde yet again. For those who are still moving through Venus-related issues, you may notice that issues regarding house, home or finances come up with people from the past. There is a lack of attention and focus tonight for some. The moon enters the Mansion of Nut at 11am EST, the home of the sky and stars. Adventure and playfulness are the themes of this mansion, and with such sobering, serious issues coming up I believe this serves as a reminder to keep your mind at play while you work. Saturday, August 8th - Day begins in Mansion of Nut / Enters Mansion of Osiris at 10am EST
The moon squares Jupiter a little after midnight, which can create a claustrophobic feeling for Leos, Sagittarians and Aries (and those who are sensitive in general). It may be difficult to sit still. It may feel like there is too much to do or remember. The moon moves void of course from 12:46am until 1:41am EST. This short void ends with the moon entering Gemini. This may not help with any restless brain activity! Today especially is a poor day for any big decisions regarding romance or love. Take it easy and wait to see what happens instead. The moon trines the North Node this morning, which will allow us to look a little more objectively at big issues in our lives. Tonight the moon squares Neptune. Emotions and logic really challenge one another as the day progresses. Balance will need to be achieved to make any progress. Tonight Mars enters Leo, bringing along physical inertia and energy, but also the need to have our contributions to society and community be seen and appreciated. The moon enters the realm of the underworld at 10am EST, otherwise known as the Mansion of Osiris. Forgiveness and mercy are our daily reminders. Maintaining harmony and peace by letting go of expectations will yield the most positive results.
Sunday, August 9th - Day begins in Mansion of Osiris / Enters Mansion of Isis at 11am EST
The moon sextiles the Sun this morning, bringing along pleasant social interactions for many on the air/fire axis. Moods in general could improve this morning. This afternoon there are two fleeting transits at about 2pm, where the moon squares Chiron and sextiles Uranus. This can create rapid change in how we view situations closest to us. Past pain could come up, but this time we may have a different take on how we can best deal with it. The evening and night are fairly quiet and are ideal for learning, reading or socializing with those who push us to expand our thinking. The moon enters the Mansion of Isis fairly early on, at 11am EST. Celebrations are favored, along with family gatherings and parties. The ancients considered this a most blessed day to meet new friends and deepen our relationships with current ones.
Monday, August 10th - Day begins in Mansion of Isis / Enters Mansion of Seth at 9am EST
The moon sextiles Venus and Jupiter this morning, at 1am and 7am EST respectively. Relationships are playful and lighthearted to start today. Conversations could educate, especially conversations with friends, partners and loved ones. The moon is void of course for a short time (7:46am to 8:09am EST), and then it enters Cancer. A Cancer moon/North Node square could make some feel a bit attached to their homes today, and not feel like interacting with those they don't know. Cancers and Libras may feel this way especially. It's okay to retreat for the day. In fact, it's a nice time to relax or spend some time making your home environment feel more relaxing. This evening the moon sextiles Mercury, which helps us bond with others again through conversation or communication. It's a fine night to reach out to family or those you haven't spoken to in some time. It's possible someone from the past could come through with an apology or regret. The moon spends most of the day in the Mansion of Seth/Set. Seth was a dark Egyptian god, one that represented storms. The astrology is not all that confrontational today, but we are reminded to be honest with our feelings and ourselves. The ancients considered this a good day for animal communication. We could translate this today to bonding with pets, or else adopting a new animal companion.
Tuesday, August 11th - Day begins in Mansion of Seth / Enters Mansion of Nephthys at 8am EST
Neptune and the moon trine shortly after midnight. This watery dreamlight provides us ample lucidity for our sleeping hours and access to the collective unconscious as we awake. Inspiration comes gently and steadily. Intuition is heightened for those with Pisces, Cancer or Scorpio heavy charts. Jupiter enters Virgo at 7:10am EST. We have been working to expand the stage of our lives over the past couple of months, and now we are here to refine our craft. Virgo sees us diving in with a keen eye and idealized vision, and the drive to complete this through steady work. Those who have been overloaded with social stimuli and nonstop projects may find a bit of room to breathe while the big red planet takes its tour through hermetic Virgo. This is not to say that we will not be busy, just that many of the things keeping us occupied will be self-directed. If you feel as though this does not apply to you, keep in mind that the energy is opening up for us to be focused on our own projects and so now is the time to act if that is what you wish to achieve. The moon opposes Pluto this morning as well, which only further intensifies our need to work solo. Time alone is necessary to recharge today, even for the most extroverted individuals. This afternoon Mars and the North Node sextile, which is going to create some interesting occurrences for many. These will all have to do with taking action, and making a choice which will put you on the right path. You may be given a couple options today that you are required to choose between. There is also a lot of physical energy that is available today. Tonight at 10pm EST the moon trines Chiron and squares Uranus. Emotions could be a little shaky, and some may be testy. If you didn't get time to yourself today you may notice that you feel annoyed with everyone by nightfall. Get to bed early if possible, or take that solo time now. The day is devoid of major aspects until 1pm EST this afternoon. The morning should be quite pleasant for most, and a good day for rejoining others who are on similar missions as you. Moon/Saturn trine this afternoon will help workloads and give you focus to accomplish tasks. Collaboration is encouraged. The moon is void from 1:45pm until 4:53pm EST, when it enters Leo. The evening is perfect for creativity of any sort, even if it's just doing a puzzle or something that gets your brain moving. Tonight the moon sextiles the North Node and conjuncts Mars. There is a powerful pack of energy coming this evening. Sleeplessness could be the result, but try not to lament or feel stressed. Use the time to work on something you've been meaning to get to and you will likely fall asleep after with no trouble. Mercury and Neptune meet in opposition at 9:11pm EST tonight. Conversations could take on a weird tone. People could talk about things you'd never expect from them, or else you may not be on the same wavelength as friends or family tonight. Virgo and Pisces in particular will get sucked into this dynamic. The moon is in the Mansion of Horus for most of the day. We only have two major aspects today. The Leo sun trines Uranus in Aries this morning at 6:26am EST. This is going to get a lot of stuck energy moving. Things will happen quickly, if before it seemed they were lagging. Ideas come in for many, and new ways of looking at things will be available. Social activity is favored. The Sun and Chiron are inconjunct at 9:53am this morning. Rather than being too introspective today, we are encouraged to move out of our comfort zones and leap into action. Utilize your ideas and share them with others. Collaborate and celebrate. We are in the Mansion of Imseti for much of the day. Money making is encouraged, particularly with the help of those closest to us. It's an ideal day to travel. We are encouraged to push beyond what is acceptable to us and take chances on this day.
